Well…not literally because my husband has already said no to the idea. (He knows I wouldn’t be able to handle the cold weather any ways during the winter months…LOL…One reason why we moved out of the state of Virginia.) Maybe I just want to move to Montana because of the characters Colton and Melanie, and how Rebecca described certain scenes in Montana. Rising Assets is Colton and Melanie’s story and it was full of romance, lots of humor, some sad moments, and a little bit of drama. Here is a couple that had been friends since they were little. Oh and because of this friendship, everyone in town had a bet when these two would eventually get together. Unfortunately though, Colton and Melanie are in denial over becoming more than friends. At least Melanie was. Melanie is one character who is stubborn, but she had reasons to be. She’s your strong-willed female who is proving to everyone she can handle whatever life throws at her. I adored everything about her because of her personality. But what can I say about sexy Colton…hmmm…he’s just as stubborn as Melanie, but in a different kind of way. Oh…and did I mention the part he’s sexy and supposedly looks great in both a suit and casual wear? I have no idea how Melanie was able to resist him for so long. I couldn’t resist after the first chapter. He’s your sexy business guy running the family business and your sexy cowboy all packaged in one. He’s intimidating though in a successful kind of way, and poor Melanie is just wanting to live her life without his help. You could tell from the beginning how they felt for each other before they even knew. If there is one thing I love about this story is the best friends becoming more than friends storyline. (One of the reasons is because my hubs and I were friends before we were more. Makes me re-live days on how I gave him such a hard time) =) Rebecca has the previous characters in this book too, one in particular I’m very interested to find out more about is Hawk. He went through something in this book that left me in shock and wanting more. Hawk is very close to Melanie and Colton, and he actually plays a part in the story that you may find interesting. I give this book 5 full moons and highly recommend it to contemporary romance readers out there. I’m going to admit and say I didn’t read the first two books in the series, but I didn’t have a hard time following Rising Assets when reading it. Rebecca does a great job on bringing in the previous characters and giving details on how they met in their books. Now…I need to make time to read the first two books. I enjoyed being in Montana (fictionally) with Colton and know I will enjoy being there with his other brothers. =) I received a complimentary copy of the book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.(less)

Melinda describes into great detail what the characters are going through, and she makes their situations intense and extremely nerve-wracking. One of the main reasons why I will leave the light on and snuggle with the husband while reading Melinda's books. In every book in the series, I have yet to figure out who exactly the bad guy is until Melinda reveals who it is at the end. She's one writer that can keep me guessing and still leave me in shock no matter what. Every time I think I figured out who was behind everything in She Can Hide, Melinda surprises me with a twist and leaves me going back into the book looking for any clues. I should have figured out who was exactly behind everything, but Melinda does an amazing job on keeping her plot twist hidden. I love this about her writing style. We have two characters that come together in She Can Hide unexpectedly. Ethan ends up finding a car submerged in an icy lake, and coming across Abby who is fighting for her life due to the car going into the water. Abby has no clue what happened though, and she doesn't know if she should trust Ethan. Ethan though is determined to find out what happened to Abby, and why she would forget such a big accident like the one she was in. Abby has been hiding from certain people and has had a past that still affects her life. She doesn't want to really open up to Ethan until something else happens that makes things come to light. Melinda gives us these two characters who end up helping each other in different ways. Ethan was such a sweetie in the story and I adored how he was determined to get Abby to open up. Abby was secretive for a reason in the story and I didn't blame her for not trusting anyone. Everything she went through in the past and present in the book will make any reader feel for her. We even have secondary characters in the story that end up going through their own issues that pertain to the main characters. I loved how Melinda weaved them all together and in the end had it all come together. I enjoyed every bit of She Can Hide even when it had my adrenaline going and heart pumping trying to figure out what was going on. I give this book 5 full moons and highly recommend it to romantic suspense readers out there. If you enjoy a book that keeps you guessing this is the book for you. Be prepared for some very hair-raising situations though. You could read this book as a standalone, but for me, I would recommend reading the other books first. Oh…and may I just say, I LOVED that Melinda wrote Zeus in the story. Zeus is Abby's dog and he's a mastiff. He plays a very important role in the story, well to me he did. I loved him the most out of the story and not only because I have a mastiff myself, but because Melinda detailed mastiffs personalities very well. Zeus reminded me of my handsome mastiff, Rambo and how he is very protective of his owner. Don't ever mess with his Mama. =) I received a complimentary copy of the book from the Author in exchange for an honest review.(less)

Play is the second book to the Stage Dive series from Kylie Scott and it definitely was one book that kept me from sleeping. I think I’m still recovering from staying up two nights in a row to finish this book. If I didn’t have prior commitments I probably would’ve finished this book in one night, but unfortunately I didn’t want to be a zombie the next morning. (This mama has to chase after a toddler during the day) Once I started reading Play, I had a hard time putting down my dang Kindle. One reason was because I fell head over heels for Malcolm (aka Mal…the sexy drummer to Stage Dive). Ever had that one character that captured your heart the minute he came in the story without the author really describing him? Yeah…Mal is definitely that character. The minute he started talking was the minute I fell for his charm…or should I say humor.
Anne Rollins is introduced first in the story and she definitely hasn’t had it easy. Her life consisted of taking care of her little sister due to her mom not wanting to be apart of raising them, and then taking care of everyone else she comes in contact with. She tends to have people take her for granted. The poor girl though has no one there to tell her otherwise and she’s way too nice. I wanted to slap her a couple of times for doing things she shouldn’t for people who obviously used her. She has her own roommate walk out on her, her boss use her for hours, and several other incidents that happen in the book that I do not want to give away. The poor girl needed someone to kick her in the butt or make life be more fun for her.
In comes the sexy drummer of Stage Dive, Mal who will make you laugh, smile, blush, and curse all at the same time. He had me laughing up a storm constantly in this book. The boy says the craziest things though at the best times.
One of my favorite scenes is when Mal is drunk and his fellow bandmate, David tried to shut him up.
There’s also several other scenes, one where Mal talks to Anne (but not really her…LOL..Let’s just say it’s a body part ) Yeah, you will have to read the book for this one.
Mal ends up meeting Anne when he overhears her at a party talking to her boss. He’s going to change Anne’s world and make it much better (or you may find it kind of stalking or going crazy a bit…it all depends on how you take it as a reader). To me, Mal came in and saved the day for Anne. He made her more fun and she made him open more at the end. I loved him and he’s going on my long list of favorite book boyfriends now. (Shhh…don’t tell the hubs)
Mal and Anne are steamy together and both of have their own problems they are dealing with. Anne is able to understand quickly what she needs to fix, but Mal has a hidden secret that Anne tries to pry out of him the minute they make a deal to help each other. She knows something is wrong and so does the rest of the bandmates, but Mal is determined to keep it hidden or at least try to accept it on his own.
Kylie does a fantastic job on keeping my interest throughout the story for these two characters and also the secondary ones. We have the previous characters in the story and the other bandmates. We also have Anne’s friends constantly throughout the book and her sister. Her sister is quite a character and I have a feeling she’ll show up again later on in another book.
I look forward to reading the rest of the bandmates stories because I’m now officially addicted to this fictional band. It also helps when Kylie makes several scenes very steamy between the characters. (Is it getting hot in here…kind of feeling when you read the scenes) This is a New Adult Contemporary Romance book that has way more steamy scenes compared to other books I’ve read in this genre.
Another warning though, if you read this book in public be prepared for people staring at you. There is no way you will be able to hide your giggles and your smiles from Mal’s crazy personality. Thank goodness I read this book in the comfort of my home and when everyone slept.
I give this book 5 full moons and highly recommend it to readers out there that enjoy rock star romance books and the New Adult/Contemporary Romance genre.
Oh one more thing…that will get you worked up about Mal is when Kylie describes him in detail, especially when he’s beating on his drum set and how Anne sees him from her perspective. (*sigh*)

I was skeptical at first on reading I See London because I have a love/hate relationship with books that have the main character having more than one love interest. Unfortunately, for me New Adult has become an addiction and I can’t seem to stop myself for reading stories like this one. It’s like eating cheesecake…I can’t stop myself after the first bite. I’m glad though I decided to read I See London because it only took me a day and a half to read. I would have had it read in less than a few hours, but I had family in town. (Darn family functions…LOL)
Chanel Cleeton had me continuously engaged in the story and I fell for the character Samir. Even after his cousin and several other characters stated he’s bad news and is a player…he still won me over. He was always there for Maggie, even when he intended to be a jerk. He warned Maggie though about how he was. At least he was always honest. Unlike Maggie who could never be honest or come out front what she thought.
She drove me crazy, but I understood why she was the way she was. Poor girl had both of her parents never there for her. She was on scholarship to the International School in London and to me, she should live her life to the fullest. She’s away from home, she should enjoy having fun. She had never been in a real relationship before and was trying to make her first time special. She meets two guys whom she falls for. One more than the other, which I was rooting for the one she adored from the beginning.
I adored how Chanel had Maggie grow up through the book and changed the way she thought. Maggie came to the school all too serious. It took her friends scolding her and having her let loose to get out there in London. She should focus on her studies of course, but enjoy her life abroad and make friends and make mistakes.
You already read what I thought of sexy, Samir, so I don’t want to spoil anything more about him. He plays a major role in the story and he was a jerk, but in the end he definitely was my favorite character in the story. He opened up several times in I See London and I look forward to reading more about him in the next book and what happens next. There was a very significant event at the end that makes me want more.
Hugh is the other guy in the story that caught Maggie’s interest. I was just a little weary with him because of the circumstances on how they met and what Maggie told him at first. He seemed right away to have issues, and he was kind of jerk at the end of the book.
Chanel gives you the angst and lots of tension in I See London. It’s New Adult, which means you are either going to hate the characters or love them. You are going to want to ring their necks and hug them at times. You will also want to slap them a bit to wake them up. At least that is what some New Adult books do for me. I See London is no different. I enjoy books that make me feel for the characters. Maggie definitely was very naive, but she opened up quite a bit in the book. She definitely is not a whiny character, just a character who was confused a lot.
***I also enjoyed reading a book staged in London. One city I need to visit soon.***
I give this book 5 full moons and look forward to the next book. If you are a fan of New Adult then this is the book for you.
Forewarned though…there is a lot of heated moments, but not many sexual scenes. It’s worth the wait though to have those more heated moments. I want even more in the next book.
I received a complimentary copy of the book from the Author (for the Blog Tour) in exchange for an honest review.(less)

I’m going to admit and say I’m a new fan girl of Lora Leigh. I wish I would’ve read her books sooner because I’m officially addicted. I’m in love so far with the Tempting Seals series, but it could because I’m on a military read kick right now and can’t get enough of books like this. Lora Leigh though knows how to suck me into the story…literally. =)
We have Clint “Iceman” in this story of Tempting Seals and let’s just say he may have just became my favorite fictional Navy Seal ever. (of course it could change with the other books in Lora’s series) He’s on R&R after taking down a drug cartel, but of course his kryptonite at home is deep in trouble. Morganna (his best bud’s little sister) has always been on his radar, but he chose to stay away because he didn’t want to harm her in any way. Unfortunately, she’s got herself in the middle of something that he now has to get her out of before she gets hurt and before her brother finds out about it. Morganna though has tried everything possible to forget about Clint, but he always has a way of getting back into her heart and ruining her. She’s changed though. She’s not the same girl as before. In fact, she’s undercover with the DEA to uncover who is using a date-rape-drug on girls and killing them. Clint is not going to make it easy for Morganna though.
Clint is your typical big protective over-bearing alpha male character who has issues mentally about making his true feelings of Morganna be known. Oh, he drove me crazy, but he also made me go crazy in a good way. Umm…let’s just say he has something that left Morganna in shock and drooling. Holy moly! I find myself still reading a specific scene of the moment he got naked in front of Morganna the first time. (*cough* he has something done *cough*) He always surprised me in the story with other things. Yes, Lora Leigh gave us a character that is amazing in bed, but she gave us someone who will kick butt if you mess with his woman…especially look at her the wrong way. He’s a Dom…so he has his reasons of being alpa.
Morganna is not your timid shy girl. She can hold her own. In fact, she puts guys in their places several times. Even with the ruthless over-bearing Clint. I loved their banter back and forth in the story. My mother would consider the banter…the old married couple banter. The role she had to play undercover definitely made Clint uncomfortable at times and I loved how she handled him when it came to her job. Although, she had moments of falling off the horse and letting him affect her life, but she got back up and put him and her co-workers in their place. Poor woman just wanted to be respected and also get her crush to realize that she loved him. Geez…hard headed men! There is a age difference between Clint and Morganna, which makes Clint put the brakes on becoming serious. (I wanted to bonk him over the head at times and make him realize age didn’t matter) Grr!
The storyline was engaging because Lora Leigh made me go on a ride with the characters, to find out who was behind the drugging of the girls at the clubs. When the clues starting coming forth, Clint started realizing that it may something he have dealt with before. There also was something going on with Morganna’s DEA team and Clint needed to find out if everyone could be trusted on the team.
There is a lot of sexual tension, action-packed drama, LOTS and LOTS of nakedness, and some minor Dom/Sub (or Dom/Dom…because a certain character is more better as a Dom than she is a Sub) action in the story. There’s also moments of close calls and crazy moments between the two crazy love birds that they definitely don’t want people to know about. We even get Reno and his lovely lady, Raven in the story a few times. *sigh*
I give this book 5 full moons and highly recommend it to readers out there that enjoy romantic suspense, contemporary romance, Navy Seals, Dom/Sub, and I could go on and on. Let’s just say you will not be disappointed.(less)

I was looking for another military book to read and another blogger suggested Lora Leigh's Tempting Seals series to me. Where have I been all this time and why did I not try out any of Lora Leigh's books before? I freaking loved Reno's Chance and this was just a novella. I can't wait to get into the other books in the series. I had a hard time putting down my Kindle. In fact I read this novella, whenever I could sneak it in between books I had to review and in between college assignments. I even read it while waiting for my daughter to get out of school one day. (I bet the parents around me saw me blushing and saw my smile while reading this novella….LOL)
The heat level in Reno's Chance was scorching and I loved both Reno and Raven. Even when it's a short novella, Lora Leigh managed to make it one hot little number of a story. Holy crap just thinking about it...!!! =)
Reno was the sexy determined Navy Seal trying to get the beautiful Raven to become more than just friends. They had known each other for years, but Raven did not want to start anything with Reno due to her worries of losing him. Reno's a Navy Seal, so she is definitely allowed to worry. Reno though wants to reassure her that it will be worth it, and he will do anything to be with her and show how much he loves her.
I loved how Reno would constantly chase after Raven and Raven would continuously run off. She didn't make it easy for him, but Reno knew if he continued to chase after her, she would eventually give in. If you are looking for a quick read with some very heated sexual moments with a Navy Seal and lots of romance then this is the book for you.
I give this novella 5 full moons and look forward to diving into the next book in the series. This was a great start to what is to come in the next books. It sure peeked my interest. =) I LOVE me some military romance books with a very sexy Navy Seal. (less)

Ascension is the fourth book to the Gryphon series and it definitely is by far the best out of ALL the books(at least in my opinion it is) =)
Stacey Rourke gives you an action-packed, nail-biting story that puts the Garretts in War against the Countess. Celeste will be put through the test in this book, literally and will end up dealing with more than she bargained for. She has to deal with the Council (who have actually kept a major secret from her and her family), the evil Countess (who just won’t give up and wants to make Celeste’s life difficult), and two sexy guys (who are fighting over her literally).
Be prepared to learn so much more in this book about how Celeste became the Conduit and what needs to happen to the Conduit eventually. Stacey Rourke did a fabulous job building up to the very end of the book, where the big WAR happened. She gave us moments of crying and also moments of smiling. Let’s just say this book will make the Garretts realize, they need to come together to help save what they have.
We do get the love triangle of Celeste, Caleb, and Rowan in this book and how the boys just won’t give up on winning over Celeste. They even tried to come to terms until after the major battle. Yup…definitely stubborn guys and poor Celeste has to keep telling Rowan, it will never happen.
We also have the dark army Glee Club that I literally adore, even if sometimes they are evil. They always manage to crack me up and Celeste makes it even better with her sarcasm back at them. She definitely knows how to handle them with her witty marks back at them. They definitely are my favorites in the story.
Can I just say…the ending..as definitely not what I expected at all, but it definitely left me in shock and now I need to find out what is going to happen next. =)
(I’m still in love with Rowan though) Something about him won me over a long time ago. =)
If you have not read this series yet, you need to. If you love a series that involves paranormal fantasy and you love a series that is like no other out there then you will enjoy the Gryphon series.
I give this book 5 full moons and highly recommend it to young adult readers out there.

Passionate Addiction is the second book in the Reckless Beat series and it happens to be my favorite member of the band, Blake’s story. *sigh* I fell in love with him in Blind Attraction and in this book…I fell even harder.
Eden Summers made me smile, laugh, and cry (several times), while reading Passionate Addiction due to the truth of what Blake has gone through and continues to go through. I feel for the hot and sexy tattooed guitarist. He managed to get through the addictions he had thanks to a certain beautiful Aussie online friend named, Gabrielle. He met her on one of the online chat support groups and she helped saved his life from getting worst.
Now, Blake wants to thank Gabi in person for saving his life and he is finally going to meet the one person, he cares so much about. He ends up surprising her before his band gets to Australia on tour at Gabi’s birthday event with her friends at a bar.
Gabi is surprised to see the sexy, tattooed friend she has talked to for years now. Feelings of him are going to brew even further once they finally meet and both of them are going to be inseparable. Unfortunately, Blake’s past is going to rear it’s head and try to ruin the one person in his life that he loves. Gabi’s past is also going to show up, but that is because she has dealt with lost before. She wants to keep Blake from going back to his past, but Blake is trying to fix something that he should of taken care of a long time ago. He thinks he can manage it by himself, but so many things are going to jeopardize what he has with Gabi and their friendship and love is going to be put through so much.
Blake is the sweetest and most loving person ever. I thought he was such a sweetie in Blind Attraction, but in Passionate Addiction, he shares so much more. He opens up on what he has gone through and continues to go through, and even with all his dark secrets coming out, I still love his character. He manages to fight what he goes through thanks to Gabi, but he forgets to realize he had the strength already inside him. He just needed someone to help guide him.
Gabi is such a caring person towards Blake and she has gone through lot to in the past due to what her brother put her through and what happened to him. She helped the broken Blake find himself again and make him realize he has the most loving people all around him that would never judge him for what he did…instead they would support him 100%.
We get all the other Reckless Beat characters in Passionate Addiction as well. There is continuation of Mitch and Alana and what happens to them in this book. (I LOVE those two). We get some drama in Passionate Addiction not only with Blake and Gabi, but with some others in the Reckless Beat band.
I’m intrigued to find out more about Mason and Sean after reading this book and I have to say Mason is one dirty minded individual, but he grew on me because he is not afraid to speak his mind. LOL
Eden Summers did another great job on making me love Blake and making me wish Reckless Beat was a REAL band. I love these guys!! They have taken over my life since the minute I read Blind Attraction because I feel for every one of them. In a world of craziness due to their popularity, they manage to realize they are a family that will do anything for each other.
Oh…and let me not forget that Blake has some moves to him. He knows how to sweep a girl off her feet…literally in this book. The sexy scenes between Blake and Gabi will have you grabbing for the iced cold water to cool yourself off and maybe even making you take a VERY COLD shower too. I’m telling you…I’m still hot and bothered. ( I’m a little jealous that Gabi got to lick at and touch this sexy god ) =)
I give this book 5 full moons and highly recommend it to readers out there that love books about hot, sexy rock band members and love the contemporary romance genre.
I look forward to the next book in the series and hope it comes out soon because I need me some more of my fictional Rock Band that has won my heart. Oh..and sorry for the long review…but unfortunately this is one book that deserves the gushing and loving. =) I could go on and on why I loved this book…but I would give too much away..and you have not read the first book…you definitely are missing out. Get to it…GO BUY the first book and then get this one. You will LOVE both!!!!

I’m going to admit first off that I was definitely not expecting The World Without a Future to really capture my attention, but it definitely did. Oh boy did it! I had a hard time putting down my Kindle and now I’m mad I have to wait to find out what happens next. Ahhh!!!
My first New Adult Dystopian book and now I’m definitely wanting more. First off, zombies have been my new addiction and I used to hate zombies. I could never really watch a movie with zombies until I met my husband and now I’m wanting to read books with them.
Nazarea Andrews did an amazing job on making me grip my Kindle and almost breaking it in two. Not only because of the action and suspense of the Infects that were in the story, but due to the characters Ren (aka Nurrin) and Finn. I loved every bit of the storyline of The World without the Future. Here is a book that takes you into a world where people are trying to survive in Havens away from the Infects. Unfortunately, there are times that Havens can fall and that happened with where Ren and her brother were at. ( I don’t want to go into detail on why the Infects happened…so no spoilers there) The only thing you need to know is how important it is to keep Ren being first day born a secret. She is born on the day that zombie apocalypse decided to unfold. ( That is definitely important part of the story)
The minute the Havens start falling is when there is no hope for everyone to survive. Finn knows this…but no one likes to listen. Finn is the friend of Collin…every girl adores him and wants him, except Ren. Ren despises Finn, but for some reason he is always there. He has secrets though because he is able to get things no other human is able to get. He is also well known and Ren is determined to find out who he really is.
Ren is the girl in the story that always does not listen and she always is asking questions. She is one tough chick though and will do anything for her brother and her boyfriend in the story. Although, she is clueless when it comes to how Finn feels about it. I wanted to yank her out of the book and tell her she was clueless.
Finn is the guy that makes you want to find out his deepest darkest secrets because believe me he has them. He was very intriguing to me, even when he was being a jerk to Ren or Nurrin since that was his nickname he called her. I loved his character because Nazarea gave us his point of view in the story and believe me, he definitely will keep you reading the story. He has a very dirty mind and is very alpha. He is also very sexy when he is determined to get what he wants.
Finn and Ren together are definitely a great connection. They both are complete opposites, but they mash well. They just don’t know each others feelings towards each other. They have a love-hate relationship…but more of a hate relationship.
Nazarea gives you a story of a zombie apocalypse that involves characters that are just trying to survive after their haven fell. Unfortunately, things turn upside down and they need help from other Havens. They will deal with the craziness of the Infects, each others secrets, and many other things.
The ending…can I just say…WOW…that was definitely a cliffhanger because I had to re-read the last few sentences to make sure Nazarea left me hanging. Dang it!! I definitely need to find out what happens next…please!!
I give this book 5 full moons and highly recommend it to readers out that love apocalypse books and the new adult genre. Believe me there is a lot of heated tension in this book between Ren and Finn. There are so many more questions that need to be answered, especially after the cliffhanger. I look forward to reading the next book.(less)

Karin Tabke has Double Dare pick up where The Dare left off at and this book just makes me want even more of the sexy, green-eyed Captain named Simon. I cannot even get him out of my head right now, while typing up this review. He definitely won me over even more after reading the Double Dare...even with that shocking cliff-hanger. I should be confused and angry, just like Katrina is...but I just cannot. In Double Dare, we have Katrina going through hell due to what happened in The Dare and it is about to get worst for her. Her douche of a co-worker, Evan is about to make her life hell at her job since their falling out ( when he finally told her the truth ... what a jerk ) and Simon is determined to win Katrina over ( he is not going to give up her ). Katrina just wants to live her life and to cut off ties with any man out there. She has no one to turn to, when the crap hits the fan, until she realizes the one man she has been trying to avoid, may be the only person, who can help her. So many questions were answered in Double Dare, but so many questions were opened up and not answered. Ugh! This is short book, but it definitely makes you go through so many emotions.
Katrina definitely has issues and Double Dare opens up those issues, but I think with Simon, she will slowly get over them. Simon has a way with the ladies...because even though he is fictional...he definitely has won me over. (*fanning myself*) He is so friggin' mysterious and I want to know the truth about him.
This short book contains sexting between Katrina and Simon, Ben Wa balls as a gift from Simon to Katrina, and Katrina's fantasy of doing something in a public place. Oh boy...that was definitely the HOTTEST scene in the book because someone was watching the whole entire scene happen.
I highly recommend this short novella and give it 5 full moons. I definitely need the next book already...because I really need me some more of Simon. I miss him already. I need to find out the truth about him...because darn it, Karin, you left us hanging. (less)

I know I am going to have a hard time typing up this review without crying because She Can Scream definitely was a very emotional book and the storyline alone should have people in twisted knots after they read this book. Melinda Leigh gives us a story that actually makes people realize that not everything should be posted online and you should be very weary on adding people to your social networks sites.
She Can Scream involves a woman trying to overcome what happened to her friend so many years ago that she blames her self for. Brooke Davenport is now a self-defense teacher, trying to teach the women in her local home how to protect themselves. Unfortunately, she ends up messing up a local killer’s next plan to kill a young woman, he has been stalking for a while now. She saves the young lady’s life and now the killer is determined to finish what he started and accomplish more in his killings.
Brooke’s brother is about to be deployed again and he is scared to what could happen to Brooke, so he asks his best friend, Luke Holloway to look after her and her two kids. Luke Holloway has his own demons, he’s trying to come to terms with. He blames himself for what happened when he was working, when a explosion happened and a young woman, he was working with got killed. He is an ethical hacker and provides services for companies wanting someone to find out their vulnerabilities in their networks. His job definitely is not easy, but it provides companies better ways to secure their network.
Brooke is stubborn because she feels its her job to help the women in her community since she feels she could have prevented her friend’s death. Luke has so much on his plate as it is, but he cannot help, but realize that Brooke definitely needs someone there for her.
I loved both Brooke and Luke’s characters because of what they continuously went through and how they definitely were meant to help each other get through their demons. I was fascinated with Luke right away when Melinda announced his job description. The same kind of job I am currently working on getting my degree in. I also was impressed with Brooke’s courage to help other women out there and make sure they did not fall victim to anyone.
She Can Scream definitely opens up what the biggest concerns with social networks are and how important it is to know self-defense.
Melinda Leigh did a fabulous job from beginning to end, building up the suspense of the story and having us trying to figure out, who the killer is and what his true motives were. I definitely was not expecting the person at the end to be the killer. Melinda Leigh definitely threw me off on this book.
I give this book 5 full moons and highly recommend it to romantic suspense readers out there and fans of Melinda Leigh’s books. You will need some tissues though and you may not look at your computer or social networks the same way.

I had the privilege of reading this book before it came out thanks to the publisher approving me on Netgalley. I would have had a review typed up earlier for it, but this book definitely took it’s toll on me. Jessica Scott made me weep like a baby again. This book definitely touched my heart in so many ways. The author’s note at the end of the book made me cry even more. If you have ever served in the military (any branch), you will know one of the biggest issues that the military deals with. The Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard deal with this every year. They lose so many military members to this and Jessica Scott is an Author that gives us a story on it through fictional characters.
Of course let me remind you that All for you is based on fictional characters, but what First Class Reza Iaconelli and Captain Emily Lindberg went through in this book is something that plagues the military.
Reza in All for You is trying to stay strong as a leader, but it’s kind of hard when he thinks the Army is wasting it’s time on the people that deserve to be out, but end up staying in. He believes they should be focused on pushing those soldiers out and helping the ones that truly need help. He has Emily that thinks differently, but she’s never been on the war front before. She’s wanting to help out all the soldiers that need it. It takes Reza to open her up, what is really going on, and it takes Emily to make Reza realize that everyone needs help. They just need someone there to help them.
Some of the soldiers have the higher ups treating them like crap and pushing them to the breaking point. Other soldiers are forced into illegal activities that make them want to cover up what happened in the past. It’s sad in part of the book how Emily and Reza are there to help one individual, but it ends the wrong way. They feel they could have prevented it.
Jessica did an amazing job telling this story and bringing a serious issue to the front. She gives you two characters who needed each other through the tough times, and even through the great moments. I enjoyed reading Reza and Emily’s tale.
Jessica is an automatic auto-buy author for me. She has an amazing way of making me fall for the characters. I end up bawling for days after I read her books because her books tell a story of things I’ve noticed or heard of when I was in the military. I swear every book she writes makes me cry even worst. I prepare myself ahead of time with a box of tissues along side. If I forget the tissues, I use my husband for comfort. My hubs is starting to realize every time I read a Jessica Scott’s book to be prepared for lots of crying and days of moping. He thinks I’m crazy for continuously reading these kind of books, but he’ll never understand.
I give this book 5 full moons and patiently wait for the next Coming Home book from Jessica Scott. Gives me time to stock up on my tissues again.
If you are a fan of military contemporary romance then you need to check out this series from Jessica Scott right away.

Karin Tabke has blown me away once again when it comes to sucking me into the story and leaving me hanging at the very end. I am still in shock at that ending and I'm definitely itching for the next book already. I need some more of the sexy copy named Simon. Please...can I have some more of him. He can handcuff me any day.
If you have never read of Karin Tabke's books, shame on you, the woman is brilliant when it comes to writing romance books. She throws in an amazing storyline with two characters (even when The Dare is a shorter length book then I am used to from Karin), and also throws in some freaking hot sex scenes between those characters. (I still cannot stop thinking about those scenes...) Although, be prepared for some really kinky stuff in The Dare. A threesome...maybe...and maybe even more kinky stuff that will make you want to slap around the dirtbag that the female character, Katrina was with at first...and then you may want to slap her around at the very end....BECAUSE how in the heck did she just do that at the very end with a certain character...I have no clue.
Since The Dare is such a short book, I will not spoil anything about this book because I do not want to give anything away. I will say this...I highly recommend this book for the contemporary romance and erotica readers out there. You will not be disappointed. You may be mad by the cliffhanger, but you will begging for more after you read the last sentence in the book. I am definitely intrigued after that last sentence. =)
This book involves a very intellectual, brilliant, and beautiful female character named Katrina, who is about to write off men completely...until that one scene between a certain character, who carries a gun and a badge. He did things to her and she did things with him, she never would have done.
I give this book 5 full moons and here is hoping Karin Tabke brings out the next installment soon. I need some more of Simon and Katrina. Katrina deserves some happiness and I believe Simon can change her mind about men. =)

Excuse me, while I gush over Soul Resurrected in my review and how much I LOVED the 2nd installment to the Sons of Wrath series. I had to read this book slowly…unfortunately…due to being sick, but how I see it, I savored every minute with this book and got to enjoy it. I snuggled up in bed, while sick and got to forget my cold symptoms, while I read Soul Resurrected. =)
Keri Lake did an amazing job with her second installment to the Sons of Wrath series and I have to say this book should get 10 full moons instead of just 5. Keri’s writing style is much different from any other PNR/UF writers out there. She has you continuously turning the pages of her books from the first to last page with all the elements she puts into her books. Soul Resurrected has everything in it that makes it PNR and UF. You have the action-packed moments with the dark and twisted moments and let’s not forget about the steamy romantic moments. HOLY CRAP!! (I did warn you I’m going to gush)
Soul Resurrected put me through so much, while reading it thanks to Logan and Calla. Logan because he has been put through so much and is not the nicest of the Sons of Wrath. In fact, you would think he would be despised for how he treats Calla in the book in the beginning, but the minute we find out what has happened to make him the way he is…is the minute we start feeling sympathy for him. He has been put through hell and back. (literally) His other demon brothers actually helped him get to where he is now, but no one really understands him…until recently. (He may be horrible at times, but he won me over the minute things got steamy with Calla…Logan actually has a very caring side…*sigh*)
Calla even has her own demons inside herself since she worked for the Alexi and now she is out for blood for the one, who killed her brother. Unfortunately, everyone in the Sons of Wrath house think she is weak, but she will do anything to prove to them, she’s not. Logan in particular, who makes her life hell. He treats her like crap and talks horribly to her….but for some reason Calla cannot stop thinking about the stubborn demon and Logan is starting to feel the same way. ( Her character was kick-ass and I adored her most, whenever she dealt with Logan)
Trouble is going to hit close at home, when the Sons are out with Calla doing rounds to find Draven (one of the Alexi), and the run into a bounty hunter, who is hunting one of them. Zeke ends up taking the brunt of the bounty hunter and gets kidnapped. Calla feels terrible for it and she wants to find Zeke. All the Sons of Wrath are going on a war path to find their brother.
Truths are going to start coming out on, who the bounty hunter was actually out to get and then some body wants Calla for some reason.
If you have not read Soul Avenged, I highly recommend reading it before you read Soul Resurrected. Keri Lake builds from Soul Avenged to go into Soul Resurrected and you definitely do not want to miss out on what happened in the first book.
I could go into more gushing and more details of Soul Resurrected, but I do not want to give away any spoilers.
Let’s just say, if you are a fan of PNR/UF, you definitely need to read the Sons of Wrath books by Keri Lake. You will fall for the Sons of Wrath and will want to know what makes them the way they are.
I give this book 5 full moons…or actually 10++++full moons and I am anxiously waiting for the next installment. I need to find out about Zayne and Gavin. Those two have definitely caught my interest even more after reading Soul Resurrected.
Another gush moment…since 2013 is coming to an end…HANDS DOWN…Soul Resurrected is my FAVE book this year that I have read. =)

Unclaimed is the fifth installment in the Amoveo Legend Series by Sara Humphreys and I have to say each book has definitely claimed a piece of my heart. I have loved this series since the moment I read the first book because Sara gives you a different story about shifters. Not just wolves, cats, and such…but all kinds of shifters.
If you have not read this series you are definitely missing out on an opportunity on being sucked into a story about the Amoveos (who are full shifters) and hybrids (half-shifter/half-human) that are trying to make a life together. Unfortunately, the Purists are still making their life difficult. They believe Amoveos should only be with pure Amoveos and not hybrids.
In Unclaimed though, we get the story of Tatiana and Dominic. Tatiana is the strong-willed, stubborn hybrid and Dominic is the over-protective, alpha-male and they definitely are not the usual mates. Tatiana does not want anything to do with the Amoveos ways and is only there to help with the horses at the Amoveos Prince's Montana ranch. Dominic though is going to make it difficult for the veterinarian to do her job, especially with his sexy over-bearing ways. He has his priorities too with his guardian duties, but the beautiful hybrid is definitely going to make him want to protect her, especially with what is happening at the ranch.
Unclaimed gives you suspense on what could be happening to the Prince's wife's horses. The guardians are also on high alert, when they keep picking up a Purist signature in the area, but have no idea, who it is. They need to figure out what is happening before someone gets hurt or killed.
I loved every big of this story because of how Sara makes me continuously swipe at my Kindle screen to find out what is going to happen next. Before I knew it, I was at the end of the book realizing that Sara left me hanging with certain characters. The whole time I was reading this book I ended up going through so many emotions, especially at the ending. Definitely was not expecting that twist, but it definitely makes me want the next book right away.
I loved Tatiana's character, especially when she handled everything that was thrown at her. She was not your normal hybrid.
Dominic won me over the minute he was introduced, even when moments he wanted to walk away from everything. He was the perfect, sexy alpha male hero in this book and he dealt with a lot of stuff from Tatiana. He was always there though.
Another thing I adore about Sara and the Amoveo Legend series is that she makes sure to bring in the previous characters in the story. =) I definitely love finding out what is going on with the other hybrids and Amoveos.
I give this book 5 full moons and highly recommend it to paranormal romance readers out there. Make sure you read the previous books first though. You will need to know what happened to the previous characters and what happened to make Purists come forward. (less)

Is it possible to give a book 10+++ stars…because I really want to do it with this book. I wanted to give the first two books just as much stars too. I am addicted to this series and I’m so happy that there are more books coming. (fireworks going off)
The Jessica McClain series is making me want to want to dive back into the Urban Fantasy genre. I love when a book has a lot of action to it and lots of magic and mayhem to it. Amanda Carlson gives you all that, plus more. She even finally gives us some romance action between Jessica and Rourke. (pure HOTNESS and STEAMINESS) Those two fought so hard not to crawl onto and into each other the moment they knew they were mates and it was even worst in this book, when Amanda Carlson had Cold Blooded pick up from when Hot Blooded left off at. When it finally happen between Rourke and Jessica, let’s just say…sparks were flying between the two and I think my hands felt the sparks, when I was holding my Kindle. =)
In Cold Blooded, we are dealing with the demons wanting Jessica due to the supposed crimes she has done against them and now she has the sorcerers coming after her and she has to find her friend, Marcy, who was taken by them. She has no idea why, but she is starting to figure out in this book what she is destined to do. She is forced to make deals with the Vampire Queen ahead of schedule and all heck is about to break loose when she is with the Vampires. The truth is about to revealed to why the Vampire Queen wants Jessica so much and why all the other craziness is happening.
We are going to find out, which supernaturals are going to back up Jessica McClain and, who is going to be against her in Cold Blooded This definitely had a lot going on this book, but Amanda Carlson keeps you turning the pages due to wanting to know what is going to happen next. Plus…the ending is a cliffhanger and it’s a doozy one too. (Ahhhh!!! Must find out what happens next)
***On to one more important thing….what can I say about Rourke…well…the truth will come out on what he is really and he is ONE SEXY CAT!!! He’s not your normal feline though. Let’s just say, he has some very old power to him and he definitely could protect me any day. LOVE him!!!
I highly recommend reading these books in order and I definitely recommend this series to Urban Fantasy readers out there. Jessica McClain is one kick-ass female werewolf, who can take care of herself and everyone around her. She has become a FAVE female character of mine. =)
If you are looking for a high-action packed book with werewolves, vampires, witches, sorcerers, demons, and lots more…then this series is definitely for you.

I have been anxiously waiting to read Twilight Hunter by Kait Ballenger and I knew I would not be disappointed at all because the minute I read the first page…I was captured into the Execution Underground world. I literally had a hard time putting down this book. My poor hubby and two girls were neglected for a day and a half because of reading Twilight Hunter. (I may have also snapped at the hubby when he tried to talk to me…he’s not talking right now because he’s still scared of me…LOL)
Twilight Hunter is with Jace McCannon and Frankie Amato. Jace is a supernatural hunter, but the kicker is he’s also supernatural, and no one at the E.U. knows this, but David. He does not like his kind though since what his father did to his mother when he was younger. He also was not the greatest Dad to him. He is trying to figure out, who is killing the young girls around Rochester and the E.U. keeps jumping on his back because they think he is not doing his job…specifically the leader of their division, Damon.
When Jace is out investigating one of the killings, he happens to run across a werewolf…but she’s not just any werewolf, she’s the pack master. Frankie Amato is out trying to figure out, who is killing the girls also because she needs to find out if it is a rogue. It’s her duty as pack master to find out what is going on. Although, she has reasons on that day on why she is out by herself and not with anyone else. She never thought she would run into Jace…her sworn enemy. He ends up capturing her, but Frankie gives him an alias, so he has no idea, who she really is.
Jace and Frankie ends up having to fight their feelings for each other, but Frankie thinks its because it’s her mating cycle that is making her act strange towards him. The truth of what he is will come out in Twilight Hunter and the villain in this story has a hidden agenda on why he keeps targeting certain girls. He also has his eyes on someone else…but no spoilers from me on this department.
Twilight Hunter has a lot of action, suspense, and romance to the story and is a longer book compared to Shadow Hunter. We get some of Damon (who happens to be a jerk in this book), David, Shane, Trent, and Ash is mentioned as well in Twilight Hunter. Jace is horrible at first because he is just tough guy and he has his reasons to be the way he is. I feel sorry for what he went through when he was younger with father and mother. You could tell, he loved his mother very much and only wanted to protect her. He had a grudge against his father and did not want to be anything like him.
Frankie is a kick-butt female character. She stood up to her pack after she returned and even put Jace in his place. She even managed to stand up to the killer a couple of times. She seriously is one AWESOME character. She definitely is going on my list of fave female characters.
I enjoyed the storyline to Twilight Hunter and how Kait kept me turning the pages. She even gave us a little bit of David and who he has feelings for. I loved every bit of this book and cannot wait for the next Execution Underground book. I need me more of these sexy hunters.
I give this book 5 full moons and highly recommend it to paranormal romance readers out there. If you enjoy Gena Showalter’s LOTU series…you definitely need to read this series from Kait Ballenger. =)

Oh my, why have I not read J. Lynn or aka Jennifer Armentrout's books before now. I had literally a hard time putting down my Kindle when reading "Wait for you". From page one to the very last page, I was entranced in the words that J. Lynn wrote for the story " Wait for you". AND....let me get this off of my chest before I explode....I AM IN LOVE WITH A FICTIONAL CHARACTER and I do not care what anyone thinks, not even my husband. I LOVE CAM!!! He can cook me eggs and bake me goodies anytime. Just saying. =)
J. Lynn gives you a female character, Avery Morgansten, who has run away from her hometown and gone off to West Virginia for college. She has secrets she is trying to get over and hide from that happened to her when she was 14 years old. Her first day of college and she ends up running over Cameron Hamilton. He is one of the most popular males on campus because every girl wants to be with him and every male wants to be him. The minute Avery runs into him, her world will change. She told herself she would focus on her studies, but for some reason she keeps running into Cam and cannot get him out of her head. In the mean time, she starts receiving nasty texts, unknown phone calls, and emails from an unknown person that keep bringing up her past. She does not want the past in her life..but she cannot make a future unless she talks about it to someone or confronts it. The minute Cameron Hamilton meets Avery, he is infatuated with her and will do anything to win her over. He becomes friends to her and almost every day asks her out, but she keeps turning him down. When she finally gives him a chance, all he wants is for her to trust him and let him make her happy. When the truth slowly comes out about Avery's past, the first thing Avery does is shut everyone out. But, the one person who will not be shut out will do anything for her to open up to him.
This is a story about love and how you may find the right person for you when you're not even looking for that someone. Once that person is found, they will be willing to wait for you and be there for you through everything bad and good. Avery is a character some females can relate to and Cameron is a character every female wishes could be real...because everyone deserves someone like Cam. Avery has gone through the unthinkable at such a young age that when the truth comes out about what happened to her, all you want to do is comfort her like her friends try to do. Cameron steps up to the plate and he has to be one of my most caring and sweet male characters I have read in a long time. He's not a jerk ladies....and this is the kind of boyfriend/significant other that should be in everyone's lives. Not those overbearing, forceful and down right mean male characters who make you feel like poo. No Cameron is the complete opposite. Believe me you will fall in love with him the minute Avery plows into him....literally she plows into him. =) *sigh* You will feel sympathy for both characters while reading this book. You will also enjoy the secondary characters, Ollie (Cam's roommate), Brit (Avery's friend from school), Jase (Cam's friend), Jacob (Avery's friend from school), Theresa (Cam's sister), and even Cam's parents will win you over.
"Wait for you" is a new adult romance filled with humor, friendship, love and secrets that will have you reading this book in one-sitting. Be prepared to cry, scream, smile, and laugh throughout this book. If you are a fan of J. Lynn and her other books, you will enjoy this one as well. I know I am a BIG fan of J. Lynn and now must buy her other books since her writing style is friggin' amazing & addicting. Warning though, you will want more after you read this book and like me, you'll be anxiously waiting for the next installment in the Wait for you novels.(less)

If you have read "The Secret Life of Avery O'Dea" you'll love this short sequel of Avery and Dominic. You'll find out what happened to two of my fave characters from 2012 and how even our fave book characters have a fallen out every once in awhile, especially when it comes to Valentine's Day.
Dominic Ramsey and Avery O'Dea are living their lives as a married couple now. Avery is finally living a normal life with a normal guy, until Valentine's Day comes around and she realizes that maybe her normal life was not what she expected. Dominic though is now living his dream come true with his photography and traveling around the country and world. Unfortunately, he is about to find out the truth about Valentine's Day and why it means so much to Avery and why he should not be taking that trip to Paris. It takes an unlikely source to help Dominic understand Avery and what really matters to her.
This short book about Dominic and Avery are a perfect read for Valentine's Day and any time you just need a great romance story. Elise Marion gives you a book that gives you relationship dramas that could happen to anyone, especially during the holiday of love. You know you've had those moments where you look at your spouse/partner in shock for what they got you for V-day or even forgot that it was V-day. It takes an outside source for Dom to realize what Avery actually wants for Valentine's Day. Oh...and the real gift at the end, is beyond sweet and I was ecstatic to find out what happened to Dom and Avery in this sequel. Although, Dom was such a jerk at first to Avery. Grrr!!! I was about to go into the pages of the book and knock some sense into him. You even get find out what happened to Avery's ex-husband, Ryan. Elise Marion delivers yet another story that will have you turning the pages to find out what happens next.(less)
