I finished this book October '11 and had to get it back to the library in a hurry. Thanks to my local library for ordering this book so I can read it. I gave it actually 4.5 stars. I enjoyed reading this book and think I will have to buy it eventually for my own collection at home. Now onto my opinion of the book. Let me just say I wasn't really into the book at the beginning. I thought it took awhile to get it up to some action and drama that I was used to reading. After a few chapters though, it got really interesting and I had a hard time putting it down. Especially, the sex scenes between the main characters Rafael and Falon. Wow!!!! It got really heated and steamy between them and I don't think I've ever read a book where the characters had so much love and sex with each other except maybe the Anita Blake Series by Laurell K. Hamilton. It even threw in a threesome almost in this book between the two brothers and Falon...but I won't get into how that happened. All I can say is Falon, the poor woman is going through a difficult time in this book and goes through hell...but she is ONE TOUGH CHICK. I loved the ending the most because it left such a KICKASS Cliffhanger that will piss you off. At least it pissed me off because I wasn't expecting it...but in a good way of pissing off. Again, poor Falon...that woman sure has gotten herself into a jam. Now onto the characters...my favorite character has to be Falon of course because she's one strong ass female character. In fact she's been the strongest female I've read since "Dark Taste of Rapture" by Gena Showalter. Noelle and Falon would get along very well together. She goes through a lot in this book which anyone would feel sorry for her. At least I definitely did. The woman didn't know who or what she was exactly, but she knew she was different. She's being tracked down by the Slayers, but ends up coming across the Lycans. That is when she meets Rafael who she doesn't think she can trust at first. She doesn't know what world she is landed in when she comes across the Slayers and Lycans, but she has to learn quickly how to survive in their two worlds. My thoughts on Rafael in this book is this guy definitely has had it hard too. Not only is he trying to save his pack, but he's also having to deal with his twin brother who has it out for him for killing his mate. Whoever Rafael decides to mate, his twin brother has a right to kill as per the Blood Law. Poor Rafael, if he meets his soulmate, he will be forced to turn her over to be killed by his brother. Who would want that? I almost want to hug him. He'll only know love for awhile...but what if he's willing to fight the Blood Law? Now that is when it gets really interesting. You will have to read this book to find out what the brothers are fighting about. I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it. I do want to read more about the twin brother though in the next book, which I know will happen. =) You'll also need to read the book to find out what Falon finds out about herself. Karin Tabke definitely knows how to make you sit on the edge of your seat. I look forward to reading the next book in the series and getting to know more about the characters and what happens next.(less)

What captured my attention the most was the description of the book and then the cover. A book that shows someone in handcuffs has to be good, right?
From the beginning to the end, this book is intense. M. Taylor Hamilton is one woman who thinks work is her life. She never has fun and never gets loose. Until she is put into a enticing and sexy situation with sexy, mystery and out of control Adam Kirliss on her boss's yacht. They've always had a working relationship and she never gave him a chance for anything else...but when he starts showing a darker side and makes Taylor do things, she never thought she would allow...Taylor starts realizing maybe she has another side to herself, that she may like better.
Adam's main focus to break Taylor from her stiff life and make her realize she can lose control every once in awhile.
What Adam does to Taylor though, is just way overboard KINKY.
Jeffe definitely had the sex scenes get really steamy and erotic in certain parts of the books. Taylor had to trust Adam with her body and her emotions when it came to Adam's sex control. I don't think I would allow some guy who I hardly know take control like Taylor did with Adam....until Jeffe described Adam a little more in the book and then I changed my mind. Yum!!!
Adam is definitely a perfect match for Taylor and I'm glad he got her to open up and break her shell. At the end of the book it takes a twist which opens up Taylor even more. I love it!!
I gave this book 4 stars because it definitely had me keep reading until the end. I had to stop reading certain parts just to cool down though. =)
My hubby has always wondered why I loved reading romance and erotica. Books like this give me ideas on what we could together. =) Thank you, Jeffe Kennedy for some ideas that I definitely wouldn't mind trying out...although their is one thing I won't try...it's just too far out there for me. LOL
I definitely will be keeping up with Jeffe's books now after I read this book and I definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes erotica. I even recommend for anyone who isn't comfortable with erotica. This book will take you out of your comfort zone...and who knows, maybe bring out another side you never knew about, like Adam did to Taylor. (less)

This book is meant for 18 & over readers out there. Who here has a "Erotica" addiction? (This gal raises her hand) Don't take it the wrong way either...I just love diving into a good smutty book every once in awhile and "Bind Me" definitely did it. I spent less than a hour reading this book on my Kindle because I had a hard time putting it down. The books starts off with 4 best friends in Baltimore making a pact with each other to live out their deepest, darkest fantasies. They have to draw a straw to find out who goes first. Marley is the lucky one to go first. To her though, she's nervous as hell. She's never done this kind of thing before. Her friends sign her up with getting a Dom from the sex club Castle Dolce Vita by sending information to the sex club's forum online. Within minutes, it seems, she has herself a Dom, whose name is Reed. Reed is a lawyer by day, but by night he is a Dom that works at the Sex Club. He had his heart broken two years ago from a previous submissive and never thought he would fall for another submissive again. He falls for Marley though when he sees her picture on the forum. He immediately wants to fulfill her fantasies as a submissive. Marley doesn't know what to expect though when she finally meets Reed. When he gets in contact with her...he wants her to call him "Master Reed." She never thought she would call someone like that...but Reed is about to make everything come true for her. He's also going to make her realize she can do things she never though possible. My thoughts on "Bind Me" was it was a GREAT erotic read. It's short and definitely fast to read (at least it was for me). I enjoyed the steamy, erotic scenes between Marley and Reed. Reed is one domineering man who knows not to take it too far. He's very good at being a Dom too. Crap...he had me even squirming sometimes on what he was doing to Marley. Although...in the beginning of the book I was introduced to his roommate, Kole...who is a bit more domineering then Reed. (Can't wait to read his book). Marley is definitely a great match to Reed. She's everything that Reed has ever looked for in a submissive and Marley in this book has always wanted a guy like Reed. (even though she really didn't know until her friends brought up the pact) There were moments I felt really uncomfortable...but that's just me being me. I got over it because I love how everything played out for the characters. Yes...I'm one of those who enjoys a sexy, happily every after. I recommend this book to anyone who loves the genre Erotica and loves to read BDSM. Yes...there's moments of tying up, flogging, smacking, and much more other things that I rather not spoil the book to anyone who wants to read it or is thinking about reading it. (less)

I'm in shock. What just happened? What the heck? What a friggin' cliffhanger! Definitely didn't expect that at all. After finishing this book, I threw my hands up in the air with clenched fists, screaming Why?!! Don't leave me hanging like that! This book took me through so many emotional moments, that I'm glad my husband wasn't here to witness it. He would've took me to a shrink. He would've told the shrink that I was losing my mind going crazy over fictional characters. He's right though because I've fallen in love with every character in this book. I feel so sorry for Falon. How can you choose over honorable, golden boy, Rafael or dark and dangerous, who hates the laws, Lucien? I sure can't. Falon is one strong-willed, dangerous alpha female in this book who put Lucien in his place several times. My favorite part in the book is on page 44 when Falon tells Lucien off. You go girl!! I love strong ass heroines and she's one of my favorites now after reading this book. Some people may find her annoying because she can't choose who she loves, Rafe or Luca? But...really if you were in her shoes, could you? In Blood Law, we got to read about Falon and Rafe together. I thought Karin couldn't top the scenes she did in that book, but of course she proved me wrong and I'm forever in "Awe" because of it. The sex scenes, the emotions, the fight scenes, and even the hilarious moments in "Bloodright" will have you not wanting to put the book down. I lost sleep because of this book. I read it slowly because I know how far December is away. I wanted to cherish every moment with these characters. There was so much I loved about this book...it would take me forever to list. "Bloodright" picks up where "Blood Law" left off from. You are thrown into the chaos of Lucien choosing Falon over killing her. He wanted to play at Rafe's emotions and he definitely did in this book. Falon of course wants nothing to do with him. Although, after being with him so long, she finds he's irresistible in a different way than Rafe. She feels the need to tame the beast in him. Poor Rafe in this book is forced to do something he doesn't want to. How could he get over his chosen mate in just a short period time? After reading this book though I feel that Falon has 9 lives. That girl died so many times, it wasn't funny. The end though is what's going to blow your mind. I won't give away the spoiler of it. Just remember to pay attention when you read it. I recommend this book to anyone who is a erotica lover, shifter addict (like I am), and isn't afraid to get out of your comfort zone...because there will be times you will you'll have to put down the book to breathe normally. This book definitely took me out of my comfort zone, but in a GREAT way. I don't think I'll ever read a book that tops Karin's writing style ever again. I thought Laurell K. Hamilton had me out of my comfort zone with her sex scenes. I definitely was wrong. Karin Tabke has become the BEST Erotica/Paranormal Romance I've read. I'm going to be in tears when the next book comes out because that will be the last book. All things must come to end though. I will say this, I will be re-reading this books over and over again whenever I want my fix of Luca. Yes...I'm rooting for Lucien. I love the dangerous, dark men who need to be tamed. If you haven't even thought about reading the Blood Moon Rising Trilogy, what are you waiting for? Countdown starts now for "Blood Vow". Hurry up, December and get here. (less)

I love reading books that have some terrific endings to them and also has a lesson learned to it. The character Tia, is going through a divorce with her husband, David (who by the way I want to go into the book and punch him) What a friggin' jerk. I can't stand man that belittles a woman's self esteem. Tia just wants a fresh start to a new life and she wants to forget her ex-husband (but he makes it difficult for her). She has been living at Alex's house while he was on tour of duty. He is sent home after being injured. He wants to do everything in his power to make Tia realize how much he cares about her. He wants to help her through her ordeals. Alex is definitely a REAL Man in my eyes.
I love how the Author goes back and forth into Tia and Alex's heads. We found out exactly what Alex and Tia wants. Alex brings out out Tia's fantasies of being submissive. Something her ex never understood or even liked. Once Tia realizes what Alex's intentions are with her, she finally realizes there are Men out there that care about a Woman's feelings. The best part was the ending of the book, where she gets over her fears with her Ex and moves on finally. It took awhile for it to lead up to that, and sometimes I was a little upset with Tia's character. How she wanted to push even Alex out of her life to save him. How come she didn't realize in the beginning this Man loved her, I just didn't get it. He even tried to tell her in the beginning, but she was clueless.
I recommend this read for anyone who loves a happy ending and wants to learn what some Women actually go through. Alex caters to Tia's feelings and loves her for what she fantasizes. Some Men don't understand that. Sometimes you have to let the Woman decide what she wants...believe me, not all Women like to be the dominated kind...they prefer to be submissive.
I look forward to reading more books from Callie Croix soon. I also thoroughly enjoyed this book because it takes you into a world of actual circumstances that could happen when someone returns from War and such. (less)

I've been in a "Erotica" mood for awhile and I needed something to read that would help that mood. Glad I finally picked up "The Best Mistake" to read. It was a short ebook, but it was worth it. Now I look forward to reading more books from Kate Watterson. Lacey Billings comes home after a week of traveling to a financial convention that she had to go to. She thinks she's coming home to her boyfriend, Ran. She wants to surprise Ran in a perfect way...in bed of course. Unfortunately, she never expected that Ran's cousin would be over and in his bed. Lacey is horrified by what almost happened and she wants to tell Ran. Rick is just as embarrassed since he's always had feelings for Lacey and now finds her even more attractive. He doesn't want to ruin Lacey and Ran's relationship. When Ran finds out though, he laughs about it. He even has a bright idea on how they can stop being awkward around each other....how about a hot steamy threesome. =) I found this ebook to be a very enjoyable short read. Definitely quenched my Erotica mood for a little bit. Who wouldn't want to enjoy a night with two HOT Men? Guys have fantasies of threesomes and so can women, can't they? =) Recommend for readers who love Erotica, short stories, and reading about threesomes. (less)

I am so sad to have read the last page of "Blood Vow" because now I know it is has officially ended the trilogy of Falon, Lucian, and Rafe. I have fallen in love with this trilogy since the moment I read the first page of "Blood Law". I am saddened that it has ended, but now I am intrigued even more with the last page of "Blood Vow". Karin Tabke, you know how to write a book that makes my emotions go haywire...I went from about to cry, to smiling, to squirming in my seat (or actually bed), to about to go through the book and knock some sense into Rafe and Lucien's heads...and to back to ecstatic again. I LOVE YOUR WRITING!! I also must say I STILL am in LOVE with Lucien!!!
"Blood Vow" picks up where "Bloodright" left off. Falon has been taken by Fenrir, who is helping the Slayers kill off the Lycans. The Blood Moon Rising is coming and Fenrir wants Falon on his side and as his. She of course knows that Lucien and Rafe will come for her. Falon finds out the truth when she is with Fenrir and that she has lycan blood and slayer blood in her as well. She finds out who her father is and she is determined to not tell Lucien and Rafe because it will break their heart and they will forced to kill her since they vowed to take revenge on their parents. When Lucien and Rafe rescue Falon...Falon has terms that both the alphas have difficulty coming to terms with. She wants both of them...not just one of them. Lucien and Rafe must decide if they can handle sharing Falon with each other, as well as prepare their packs of the fight that is coming to them. Fenrir wants war and wants the Lycans dead for what they did to them hundreds of years ago. It is up to the power of three to kill Fenrir...but Falon knows the truth on what is supposed to happen and how to kill Fenrir...but she is not ready to spill her secret.
Oh boy...."Blood Vow" has a lot going on and I definitely do not want to spoil this book for anyone who has read the other two books and is waiting to read this one. Or for the readers who are wanting to read the trilogy and haven't. This book opened up a huge secret and it definitely put Falon in a bind. When the truth did come out...I could have beat the crap out of the two alphas. GRRR!! Although, in the end one of them comes to terms before the other. Can you say TRUE LOVE?! =) I knew he would in the end. Rafe was a complete jerk in this book and I hated him for certain things he did. I would have rather Falon fallen for one of the characters, but I could see why she wanted both. She made them both stronger Alphas and they also helped her. I swear every chapter left me hanging and maybe move onto the other chapter to find out what happened next. I love how Karin switches back and forth to all 3 characters so we know what is going on inside their heads. (LOVE her writing style)
Falon has been one of the FAVE strong female characters throughout all 3 books. Karin definitely wrote the perfect character to carry the trilogy. Falon grew so much in each book and this book, she proved how strong she is and how stronger she could be compared to Rafe and Lucien. Also....the steamy threesomes between these characters were definitely HOT! You will take cold showers after each one, which is saying a lot since there were many. Oh my GOODNESS! =)
Falon does have her happily ever after in this book and so do the two male characters who have stolen her heart, as well as mine. This trilogy will be a re-read in the very near future because I know I will miss the characters a lot. If you have not read this trilogy yet, what are you waiting for. If you love the paranormal romance genre with erotic elements...and well menage trois elements as well....READ this book...but first read the other two...otherwise you will miss out on some fabulous books. Karin Tabke has closed out an amazing trilogy that definitely will be missed....but in the end, she leaves us asking ourselves...is that truly the ending? Darn you, Karin! =) Much love to a fabulous Author who knows how to make us fall in love with her characters and the world she has created. I love how she came up with this trilogy and I definitely look forward to her future books. She has a fan for life. =) (less)

Every once in awhile I read a book that blows my mind. A book that makes me read all day, and stay up all night to finish it because I can’t put it down. I rather sleep deprive myself instead of sleeping so I can find out what happens next to the characters. “Bared to You” is definitely one of those books. The first chapter alone had me excited to keep reading it. Gideon Cross, is a dark and dangerous 28 year old who owns pretty much everything in New York. If you see “Cross” on a Building, he most likely owns it. Yes, he’s young, but he’s business-oriented, determined and intimating at times. He has skeletons in his closet though and refuses to let them out for anyone. He doesn’t want anything to do with his family for some reason and women…especially, brunettes are what he usually favors. He has his gal friends he will not bed with and then his women that he has sex with one time and then discards them afterwards. He’s a very mysterious man who every woman wants though. No matter if he is a player or not. Eva Tramell is a 24 year old strong-willed woman who moved to New York after graduating college. She’s living with her best friend Cary who is a sexy male model who she met through a therapy group she went through. She landed a job at a advertising company which so far she adores. Eva has a traumatic experience she’s trying to forget, but for some reason it comes back haunting her. She has a loving father who lives in California, a crazy over-protective mother and a step-father who enables her mother to do the crazy things she does to Eva. One day Eva bumps into the dark and dangerous Gideon and the moment she sees him, she knows he’s trouble. She did not realize she would end up working in the same building as he did though. Now, Gideon wants Eva and he will stop at nothing to have her. The moment Gideon is described, I even knew he was trouble for Eva, but I also knew I would fall in love with him. For some reason I always fall for the dark, dominant man in a book. I love how Gideon is so up front with Eva when they first meet and whenever they are together period. The first time he confronts her in building where she works too…he bluntly tells her what he wants from her. I think I was just as shocked as Eva…but maybe a little more. Eva tries to avoid Gideon, but who could avoid a sexy, domineering man like him. I sure couldn’t. I do not know how Eva held on for some long. I would’ve succumbed the minute I set eyes on him the first time. This book is sexy, beyond-intense, EROTIC (of course), dramatic (warning…two females you will loathe in this book..at least I did…I won’t spoil who they are though), and it’s also full of twists and turns for both Gideon and Eva. The sex scenes in this book, I had to keep putting down the book after I read them so I could cool off. Yes…they were that GOOD!! You’ll get to feel Eva’s pain and understand what her trauma experience was in her past. You won’t really know what is wrong with Gideon, but you will get a hint on what it could be. He refuses to talk about it though, which frustrates not only Eva…but me as the reader. I recommend this book to readers out there that are addicted to the Erotica Genre and love some BDSM. Fore warning a head of time, once you start this book, you will not want to put it down. The cliff hangers of each chapter, will have you begging for more. I’m looking forward to the next book now because I really want to know what Sylvia is going to do next with the characters. Between Sylvia Day and Karin Tabke…I’m addicted to the Erotica Genre now. There’s no turning back for me. They’ve created a monster and I love every minute of it. =) (less)

Let me first say...that I've read many romance books since 2009, but I've never read a book that made me such an emotional wreck after reading it, that it took me a few days to calm my nerves before I tempted to type up a review of it. Oh my goodness, Sylvia Day, knows how to make a reader go through an emotional roller coaster in zero point one seconds. ( at least that's how long for me ) When I got the email from Netgalley saying I was approved to read "Reflected in You", early...I scared my family by screaming and jumping up and down like my oldest daughter does when she gets something she absolutely loves. Gideon Cross, how I missed you the last 5 months. While every mom out there is going crazy over the Fifty Shades Trilogy, I've been going crazy over the Crossfire books by Sylvia Day and going gaga over Gideon. *sigh*
(Just to let everyone know...no Spoilers here...I want everyone to enjoy the book...because this is a must-read for everyone who loves contemporary erotic romance)
"Reflected in You" picks up where Gideon and Eva left off. Eva has been seeing Gideon at his place and vice versa. She still does not know what to think of what her room mate, Cary has done and she knows something is going on with him. Gideon is having to take a business trip and he wants Eva to go...actually he orders her to go since he can't seem to get enough of her. Of course, Eva needs to have a moment with Cary and come to terms to what he did in their apartment. Gideon agrees to let her go on her own little trip for a weekend with Cary, but with of course with some stipulations...that she must stay in one of his hotels and be protected.
Eva is noticing changes with Gideon when they get back from their trip. He keeps acting cold one second and hot the next. She has no idea what is going on, but she knows he's keeping secrets. One of those secrets could evolve her and her past creeping back up to get her.
Gideon, plays the domineering, over-bearing, protective, and secretive alpha male again in "Reflected in You", but he also opens up a bit with some of his secrets on what happened to him and why he is the way he is. He becomes very odd in this book and several times I wanted to beat his butt for Eva because he was acting like a jerk towards her, but then he would throw in, "trust him", every once awhile, that maybe think, he was up to something. (Seriously, the man made my blood boil second and heart race another second...he was driving me crazy...GRRRR!...but I still loved him).
Eva was being her usual self in "Reflected in You". She was jealous over Gideon's past loves and getting upset with things that Gideon kept doing and she would find out later on the web. There was a time in the book with one of Eva's decisions, that I backed her 110%. She was fed up with Gideon and just wanted to live her life as normal....not with Gideon being cold-hearted and hiding stuff from her. Her family and friends were even worried for her.
Sylvia Day didn't disappoint at anything when it came to the sex scenes between Gideon and Eva. (Can I just say...I'm happy to have read that Gideon and Eva went to the Outer Banks in this book...since it's my second home) =) That was the best part of the book when it came to Gideon not getting on my nerves.
The ending though, blew my mind and left me wanting more. How could Sylvia, leave me hanging like that. She also answered all my questions that had been bugging me since the beginning. Her writing style is fantastic and flowed really well. If you've read books before that had you keep flipping because you just couldn't get enough...that is how Sylvia's is. Like I stated in the beginning, "Reflected in You" is a serious roller coaster of emotions. I went from happy, smiling, bawling like a baby, boiling hot from anger, and about to throw down with one certain character in just a few seconds. I'm telling you, in warning so you are prepared ahead of time. Be prepared to have tissues, and be prepared not to bend your book or hit your Kindle a couple of times because you just want to jump in the book and whoop some butt.
I'm really looking forward to the final book to the Crossfire Trilogy because there is still plenty of questions to be answered and I want to see if Gideon and Eva will finally have their happily ever after. They both deserve it. Both characters have their own issues. Let's just say Eva's problem gets fixed and Gideon's is just now coming up in the story.
All I can say is...this book made me LOVE Gideon even more. How could anyone resist, one sexy, billionaire, twenty-eight year old who owns half of Manhattan (at least that is how Eva describes him and I have to agree with her). *sigh*
Now if only it could be December already so I can have my final fix of Gideon. =)

This book is meant for 18 & Over Readers. Why do I put the warning ahead of time...because if your not used to BDSM...you will probably be uncomfortable reading this book and this book is not meant for the younger readers. I finished "Beg For It" within a hour. I basically sleep depraved myself to read "Beg For It" tonight. I received a advance reading copy from Stacey Kennedy earlier this evening and jumped at the chance to read "Bind Me" first and then proceeded into "Beg For It". Hello...I'm a huge fan of Stacey Kennedy. =) This book is about Kole, who is a criminal lawyer by day, but at night he is a dominant at the sex club, Castle Dolce Vita. (He's one Sexy, scary Man...who I adore now after reading this book) And it's about Bella, a stockbroker at Baltimore's top lending investment business, who I read from the previous book. She was the one who thought up the Pact of Seduction with her best friends. She wanted the ladies to fulfill their deepest darkest desires and so did she. In the beginning of the book Bella is with Raven (who also was in the previous book). Bella has always fantasized about being with a woman. Unfortunately, it seems her mind is not with it and neither is her body. She feels like she failed the pact once she realizes her fantasy isn't playing out the way she thought. When she's at Reed and Kole's party at their condo...she can't stop noticing Kole. Kole can't stop noticing her either. He's had a thing for her since the first time he saw her. He wants her to be his submissive. His roommate Reed, thinks that's a bad idea because Kole is a Dom that loves PAIN. Not those...light spank on the butt kind of pain...but the pain that leaves bruises and of course other things. Kole is determined to make Bella his submissive. They end up talking to each other and lets her know what he wants to do. She's never really been into the BDSM fantasy...until Marley, her best friend became addicted and hooked up with Reed (another Dom). When she hooks up with Kole at the Sex Club, Castle Dolce Vita..things go a little far for her taste and Kole's pushes her...but she's lying to herself and Kole. She really just doesn't know how to show her feelings about what Kole did. Kole is wanting Bella to "Beg For It". He knows she's not used to begging and she loves to push people away. He wants to change that though and make her realize she can be more submissive than she thinks. No more spoiling the book to anyone who hasn't read it. =) My thoughts on the 2nd book to the series Pact of Seduction...was WOW!! I thought Reed had me squirming while reading "Bind Me". No...Kole made me squirm and almost fall off of my sofa. Seriously, one scary, but sexy dominant man. He pushed Bella so hard and she tried so hard the first time to do what he wanted, but couldn't. It was all about trust with her. She had been through so many other previous relationships that let her down, she just didn't know how to let Kole take over for her. He was one patient guy though with her. He knew from the beginning what he was getting himself into. Bella on the other hand, who was warned from the beginning from her best friend Marley, still managed to be nervous. I loved how both of this characters met each other and I knew from "Bind Me" that Bella was going to have a strong Male character that she fell for. She is one strong, sassy woman and Kole definitely proved to her what she desired in this book. Again, there were moments in this book that was uncomfortable, but that's because Kole was such a pain-streaked Dom. I had to get used to him and the way he was. I recommend this book to anyone who loves the genre Erotica and BDSM. You'll get some flogging, hard-ass spanking & smacking, some candle wax...and much, much more. Just be prepared for some steamy, sexy, mind-blowing scenes between Kole and Bella. I look forward to the third book in the series. I want to know who Kyra and Sadie end up with and what their secret fantasies are. (less)

"Let Me In" is the second book I've read from the amazing author, Callie Croix. I didn't even realize "Let Me In" was coming out until I noticed someone mention it on twitter. I dropped everything and pre-ordered it. When it finally downloaded on my Kindle, I had to make room to read it. First off, I want to say, that Callie is my hero. I love reading books with military men in them, but to read a book that has a female character as a marine...major bonus points to Callie. (Being a Navy Veteran...I love when Authors write a female character into their book, who is in the military) Talia is now one of my top female characters that I've read so far this year. I loved how strong she was and how no matter what, she took care of her Mom even though her Mom didn't really want Talia in her life. Talia was used to taking care of herself after what happened to her Mom when her ex-boyfriends left her Mom. She hasn't talked to her Mom in a couple of years now and doesn't know what to expect. Is her Mom still mentally ill and having trouble financially, etc? She'll soon find out and it won't really be a great reunion. When she comes home on leave, no one is there to meet her at the airport, until she realizes her best friend and her best friend's brother Liam is there to surprise her. Talia loves Liam's family and secretly is infatuated with him, but she told him a long time ago, she didn't want anything more than friendship. Liam though has other plans on trying to win over Talia. He knows how Talia doesn't like to be helped, but he forces her to accept his help. Talia is embarassed when Liam finds out how she grew up and what she is still going through with her Mom. Talia finally lets go and ends up giving in to Liam one night after a incident with her Mom that Liam witnessed. Oh...and it was a good night for her. =) Let's just say, Liam is one sexy, domineering man who loves pleasing. That one time though, makes Talia realize she doesn't want to go any further and she tries to push him away. Liam of course is getting frustrated with her. He won't push her though because he doesn't want to lose her trust. I won't go any further because I do not want to spoil anything for the readers who are planning on reading this. This book was amazing. I would've read it in one day if it wasn't for sleep deprivation. Sometimes being a Mommy can be rough, so sleep wins over reading. (notice the sometimes) I fell in love with Liam. *sigh* He is every girl's dream come true. He was there to help Talia through a rough time in her life and he didn't judge her. He loved her and he wanted to be more than friends with her. He cared so much about her and Talia didn't even realize it. Talia was a strong character too. She went through so much and still managed to pull through everything. She just needed to realize she had friends there who wanted to help her along the way no matter what. I recommend this book to any reader who loves reading erotica, loves strong heroines and heroes, and also loves the dominant man in the bed. (Liam will be on your mind for days after your read this book...at least he was for me) =) Look forward to reading more books from Callie Croix soon. I also will be reading books from her other pen name, Kaylea Cross, too. If you haven't added this book to your to-read list, what are you waiting for. It's only $0.99. (less)

This was one HOT, Steamy, Sexy, Western Romance Book...that I had a hard time putting down. I found myself fanning myself several times during parts of the book that was really EROTIC. OMG! Lorelei James is one author who can make a "Book Mama" smile, giggle, and squirm. Here's a tip for ALL the men out there...sex on a trampoline will do things to your body parts that will hurt. =) Oh...and now I'm craving ice cream thanks to this darn book. Georgia Hotchkiss (aka...Hot Lips to the guys back in high school) is one female character who has gone through hell. Here's some obstacles in her life she's having to deal with: her ex-husband is a douche, her Dad is naive when it comes to Georgia's ex-husband, and her Mom...well...there's something going on with her that's she's not sure about. Then there's the fact she lost her twin-brother after they graduated high school. She never expected the hottie who sat behind her in History class would come back in her life and change her world. Tell McKay, he's known to be a ladies man after graduating high school. He's following in the McKay guy tradition in the family. He's not ready to settle down at all. He has his own issues he's dealing with: his Mom thinks he has no life, his brothers like to use him, and his Dad is a jerk from hell. He never thought the girl of his fantasies from high school who he sat behind in history class would come back into Sundance, Wyoming. Georgia "Hot Lips" was his teen fantasy. He always loved her, but could never be near her because of her a-hole boyfriend, Deck (who ended up being her ex-husband). Now is Tell's chance to finally get his chance with Hot Lips due to the high school reunion coming up. Georgia needs a date and Tell wants to show everyone, especially Deck that people can change. My thoughts on "Kissin' Tell" is that I enjoyed every minute of it. Like I stated above, I had a hard time putting it down. I loved Tell and his dom ways. He took control in the bedroom. The things he did...Wow!! I loved Georgia and how willing she was to do anything with and for Tell. She was kind of a wild woman. Tell had to actually tame her, which I thought was funny. I loved the storyline of "Kissin' Tell". I actually cried in certain parts of the book because I felt the emotion of the characters. Both Tell and Georgia had a life changing event happen to them and they both were able to be there for each other and help cope with their losses. I love Lorelei Jame's writing style and I definitely loved how she wrote the steamy scenes between the characters. I've never read a book that involved ice cream in a scene and a trampoline in a different scene. Yes...I typed, trampoline. I still can't stop thinking about both of those sex scenes...and those were just two. There are plenty more between Tell and Georgia that will have you curling your toes with excitement. I recommend this book to anyone who loves reading western romance, erotica, and of course those ladies who love cowboys. This book definitely will make you want to "ride a cowboy instead of a horse". =) Be prepared for some mind-blowing sex scenes that will probably have you fantasizing your own sexual fantasies after you read this book. =) (less)

I received an email from Amber Lin a few days ago, asking if I would love to read her erotic romance that comes out soon. After reading the blurb of it, I knew I couldn't pass up the opportunity. It's summer time and now that I have my nights back (no more getting up to get my oldest daughter on the bus). Now's it's time for this Book Lovin' Mama to enjoy staying up late with a an amazing, dark, sad erotic romance. "Giving it Up" starts off with Allie prowling a night club where she is trying to get a man to be rough with her. She ends up meeting the sexy, Colin who instead gives her the opposite of what she wants. Colin wants to see her again afterwards, but she's against it. She has a life waiting for her home. She also does these date nights out, to help her cope what happened to her two years ago. She was raped by her best friend...who she loved and cared about. She realized then she wouldn't be able to deal with him. She finds out she's pregnant and instead of telling her best friend, she runs. She ends up getting help from her best friend, Shelly, who helps her deal with the rape and also the pregnancy. She now has a beautiful two year old little girl who keeps her on her toes. She doesn't want a man in her life to hurt her or her child. Colin though is persistent to be there for her. He knows all about her and her daughter. Allie of course wants to know how he knows about her. Colin has his own dark secrets though, that involve his brother. He's supposedly a restaurant owner, but when his brother calls, he's always there for him. Allie realizes that her best friend, the man who raped her and her daughter's father is looking for her. She doesn't want anything to do with him. When he finds out the truth about Allie and what happened afterwards, he wants to be apart of her life or get custody of their daughter. Colin though wants to put a stop to the man who used to be Allie's best friend. My thoughts on Giving It Up, were it was a really dark and scary read at first. I felt terrible for Allie. She had gone through so much two years ago and then to find out what happened to her after she was raped by her best friend. I just wanted to go through the book and beat the crap out of the person who hurt her. No wonder why she couldn't trust a single male she came in contact with. She has some amazing friends who want to help her, but she is trying so hard to do it on her own. All I can say about Allie, is that she is one strong female. She puts up a good fight after awhile in the book. On top of everything she's going through, she always manages to be there for her daughter. She's a very loving mother to her daughter. When Alllie finds out what kind of stuff Colin's into, she doesn't run away, but she investigates further. She puts herself at risk, but she wants to know the truth and I do not blame her. Colin should've just came clean with her. The ending kind of ticked me off though and what Colin did when Allie admitted something to him. Grrr! There were so many problems that Allie had to face, sometimes by herself, but she did a good job handling it. I loved what she did with a certain character who tried to blackmail her. I love Amber Lin's writing style. After reading "Giving it Up", I'm definitely looking forward to Amber Lin's next books. She is whole entire writing style. I'm always reading the happy, sweet stories, but she wrote a book that was a major roller coaster for me. One minute I'm smiling, the next I'm about to punch a character in his face for Allie. Once you realize what happened to Allie and why she is the way she is, you will understand her better and feel sympathetic. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a erotic romance that has a dark, tense suspense to it. Be prepared to want to hurt some of the characters though. I know there were a few times, I would've loved to kick some butt for Allie. (less)

I told myself I would not be suckered into buying $1.99 book that was only two chapters long, but darn it. There was something appealing about this short ebook once I read the description of part 1 of "Because you are Mine". Francesca is a artist who has been hired to do a painting for Ian Noble's new skyscraper. The moment she meets him, she knows he has a very dark appeal to him, but she cannot help but think about him in a sexual way. When Ian hires her, at a cocktail party that was for Francesca, he has one condition and that is for her to paint the piece in his own home. He knows he should not even think about Francesca in a sexual way because her aura appears innocent and Ian is not into innocence...usually. There is something about Francesca though that drives Ian to have strong feelings for her. Ian is not a your typical man though, he is very domineering and Francesca will find out how Ian really is once she kisses him for the first time. Oh boy...Beth Kery, you left me hanging at the end. I was in shock after I finished part one. I was like ...no she didn't...just cut me off when it was getting friggin' AMAZING. Ahhh!! Yes...I've been told I'm crazy for paying $1.99 of two chapters, but if you figure out the price at the end, you actually are buying the whole book at full price. Penguin is one publisher that just not do cheap books (what I've noticed so far of them...but I do not mind because about 99.9% of the time, they deliver the best) I'm go glad I'm reading these short ebooks now because if I would have had to wait. I think I would have gone INSANE. What do I think about the characters so far...Francesca is one girl who I believe will open up even more in the next parts and so far I like her. Ian..well..what can I say about that dreamy, dark, dominant, powerful, rich man...(should I go on), he had me when he said hello to Francesca. I think I would have had the same reaction that Francesca had of him. (actually I did while reading) He is the perfect alpha male and I look forward to scenes between him and Francesca. Beth Kery...you definitely have me hooked at the first two chapters. Look forward to the next parts of Ian and Francesca. (less)

Really...these books are becoming way too addicting. Once I got to the last page on my Kindle (and of course it was getting really good)...Beth Kery leaves me hanging again. GRRRRR!!! Seriously...NO!! Thank goodness, I'm reading these short ebooks while they're already out otherwise I would've pulled my hair out waiting for the next installment. Ian is one sexy, rich, over-bearing, dominant man who is seriously getting too jealous over Francesa, when he shouldn't care who she hangs out with or lives with, but for some reason, everything about her intrigues him. Francesca knows that Ian is becoming bad news and that she should just focus on her art work that she is doing for him, but he is really addicting. During this installment, Ian punishes Francesca for almost doing the unthinkable. He even gets mad at her room mates for almost letting her go through with it. Ian though finds out something about Francesca that makes him want to stop what he has with her before it goes too far. Unfortunately, though there is no stopping the attraction between Ian and Francesca.
Oh...how I'm glad I waited until every installment is out to read these. I really think I would be one of those impatient readers who drove my family crazy at home until the next installment finally released. Just saying.
Thank you, Beth Kery for these short ebook stories of Ian and Francesca. I love how she leaves us hanging at the end and those sex scenes...let's just say lots of cold showers after you read them. Now onto the 3rd installment because I need me some, Ian. =) (less)

I was looking for a short, sexy, steamy read for over the weekend and I definitely found what I was looking for in "Sneaking a Peek" by Eden Summers. The cover alone had me wanting to read it and then I read the description and I knew it was a book I needed to squeeze in before reviews for blog tours.
"Sneaking a Peek" is about a guy and a girl who have had feelings for each other since they were teens. They never hooked up though because of a certain person not wanting them to get together. Tarney Jensen had moved back to town after college and found herself moving in next door to her best friend's brother's house. She has always had a major crush on Ethan who is now a sexy firefighter. She never hooked up with him because of her best friend telling her to stay away from her big brother and her conscious telling her, she did not want to ruin a perfect friendship with Ethan. Ethan who has known Tarney since she was a teenager has always had an eye on her and just never made a move because of his little sister. He also would see men come in and out of Tarney's life and did not feel it was destined for them to be together. When Tarney moves in next door, he never realized one night of him working out would bring Tarney into his arms due to her having a fall where he needs to help her. Of course he finds out that the little minx has actually been spying on him while he works out. He is trying to fight his attraction for Tarney when he's taking care of her after her fall, but he is kind of hard to keep feelings at bay for so long.
Eden Summers is now a auto-buy Author for me. I absolutely LOVED "Sneaking a Peek". Thanks to the show "Chicago Fire", I have been wanting to read a great sexy firefighter story and this definitely quenched my thirst for awhile with Ethan being a sexy firefighter. *sigh* =) After reading "Sneaking a Peek", I really needed a cold drink and a cold shower. This definitely had some steamy scenes to it between Ethan and Tarney. Oh boy!!! I love stories that have friends come together as well and this definitely was a relationship that was long overdue. You could tell by reading that both of these characters were in love from the beginning with each other and when they finally hooked up, it was like a volcano exploding between them both. If you are looking for a short, steamy read this is a definite must-read for anyone. Be ready for some moments where you will need to be hosed down and be prepared to laugh as well because Eden Summers definitely puts some humor between the characters as well. I even teared up towards the end on what Tarney thought Ethan did after they made love the first time. I recommend this book to anyone who loves erotica and wants a quick read before bed time...just be warned, you may need to cool off afterwards. (Warning do not read this book while you have kids around, like I did. I think I snapped at my oldest every time she tried to interrupt me while reading "Sneaking a Peek". I made it up to her when we later on watched movies on Netflix together and had ice cream cake. LOL)

Excuse me, while I fan myself because this was one HOT book. I have read erotic books before with menage in them, but nothing like this book. Barbara Elsborg definitely knows how to write a very sexy, steamy, hot scene between two guys and one girl. And can I just say the girl was lucky. =)
Wren has dated some awful blokes in the past, in fact, she still happens to see one every day when she goes to work since he's married to her cousin and works at the same school she does. She even had a guy she thought loved her, but ended up stealing her money and charging up her credit card. She feels she will never meet a good guy she can trust with her heart. Wren never thought she would be tempted in life with two guys...until she meets Tomas and Adam. Adam she met five years ago in Venice, Italy. They had a very steamy moment together and they thought, they would never see each other again....then there's Tomas who is in Wren's English class. Wren believes something is up with him since he manages to make jokes in English and he will not stop flirting with her. She knows she should not hook up with a student, but Tomas is making it tough on her. Wren is already tempted by Tomas in class and then she finds out Adam is in her Italian class. She has two guys now sneaking her attention. Although, Tomas and Adam have their own secret agenda for her and themselves. Adam is on vacation from London, England trying to get his assistants out of his head and trying to come with peace that he will never have what they have in a relationship. Until he meets Tomas next door and runs into Wren....now he thinks he has met the two people who will change his life for the better. And Tomas is living a secret life that he is trying to keep to himself, until Wren ends up in the middle of it and so does Adam.
I could go on and on, but I will spoil the book for readers who want to give it go. Let me just tell you ahead of time....this is a menage book that involves male on male, male on male on female and lots of sex, which includes anal and many other things. (You get the idea) It also includes a fetish club that involves dressing up and many other things that you can think of that may happen in a fetish club. I just wanted to warn you a head of time before you dive into this book. I really enjoyed the storyline of the book as well as, if you have not guess, the sexual encounters between all three characters as well. Barbara definitely supplies you with suspense, romance, and very erotic moments. I know for a fact I needed a cold shower after every sex scene between Wren, Tomas, and Adam. Wren definitely got with two experienced guys who helped her make her mind up with the experience they offered her. Once you start this book, you will want to figure out what is going on where Wren works, why Tomas has to work with the bad buy, and if Adam is hiding something (because he is sometimes too good to be true). Wren was one strong female character who happened to get her self into a lot of trouble through the book, but she handles it well. Adam had his insecurities about having a relationship with Wren and Tomas and if they were willing to be a threesome. He was trying everything to come to terms to what happened to him in the past. Tomas had his own past he had to deal with and get over. He was trying everything to keep his secret hidden, but when it fell through, he just wanted to keep everyone he loved safe. If you love erotica that involves menage, that includes lots of sex (regular, anal, etc...) and also enjoy some suspense and action, you will definitely enjoy "Girl Most Likely to". You will also eventually find out the meaning behind the title of the book. =) I will definitely be checking out Barbara's other books very soon. I received a complimentary copy of the book from the Author in exchange for an honest review. This review is my own opinion and is not a paid review. (less)

I honestly can say I am now officially addicted to Suzanne Rock's books. This is my 2nd book from her and I really enjoy the steaminess of the books she writes. There short, but they definitely quench the erotic thirst. =)
Lily has been working at the Ecstasy Spa for a couple of years now. She is known as the person who men go to for a massage with scented oils since that is what she specializes in. Her boyfriend, Ian, does not know about her job. In fact, she's trying everything to keep it from him since he means the world to her and she knows it will break his heart to find out the truth. One night while closing up shop at the Ecstasy Spa, Lily is surprised with Ian shows up to her work to surprise her for her birthday. Ian finds out the truth on what Lily does and he is heartbroken. He does not know if he should stick with her, but when he finds out what she does in the room with the men, he wants to find out for himself, if she would do the same things she does to her clients to him. Lily is confused at first and is trying everything to convince Ian that the clients mean nothing to her. Ian is the one that has her heart and he's special to her. She only does this to have money for rent and her bills she must pay. Lily may have to give up Ecstasy Spa if she wants to stay with Ian...or she may end up breaking his heart and choosing the Spa over him.
My thoughts on "Aromatherapy" was that it did have its steamy moments and hotness, but I did not feel a connection with the characters like a did the first book. Ian seemed to be a little controlling over Lily. She was trying to pour her heart out on why she chose the Ecstasy Spa over every other Spa job out there. She could not find another job out there to pay her bills and Lily's boss, Celeste, knew Lily would be a great asset to the Spa. She also tried to reason with Ian and tell him that he meant the world to her and the clients did not. I did see the reason why Ian would be upset with her. She had not even been with him yet and he did not know why she could not look other places for a job, but instead let other men touch her when he had not had the pleasure to do the things she does to the other men. Just because I did not click with the characters though does not mean I did not enjoy "Aromatherapy". Let's just say it was another book from Suzanne I had a hard time putting down. I enjoyed the ending once every thing fell together and I definitely loved the steamy, hot scenes between the characters, especially the shower scene. (HOT!) And of course the scene in Lily's room with her scents as well. Ian just wanted Lily to open up to him and Lily wanted to show Ian she loved him over the men she had been with. This was another amazing erotic short read from Suzanne Rock and I definitely cannot wait to dive in the rest of the books now after reading the first two. If you want to read about a Ecstasy Spa that indulges in your fantasies than definitely check out these books from Suzanne Rock. I received a complimentary copy of "Aromatherapy" from the Author in exchange for an honest review. This review is my own opinion and is not a paid review. (less)

I purchased a copy of "Quick Fix" because I wanted to dive into the first book in the Ecstasy Spa Novels because I received a complimentary copy of the 2nd book to the series from the Author. First off, let me just say I love the name of this book. It definitely fits the story well and made me intrigued to read it even more. Anabelle is about to experience her first special spa treatment at the facility known as Ecstasy Spa, where all your fantasies come true. She needs a fantasy due to her boyfriend dumping her, saying she is not very adventurous in the bedroom. Her friend has ordered Anabelle to try out the services at the Ecstasy Spa and she's getting the special package that only certain clients get. She needs the package called "Quick Fix" to hopefully fix what she has a problem with. She's wanting to prove her ex-boyfriend wrong and herself...that she can be adventurous and sexy. She has to sign a contract saying she will not ask the person who is about to give her "Quick Fix" out or indulge into giving any information of her personal life out or ask about his. The minute Anabelle sees Seth, she knows it is going to be difficult to fulfill the contract. Seth is not what she expected at all. He is about to prove Anabelle that she is wrong about herself and Anabelle is about to prove Seth wrong about first impressions.
My thoughts on the first book to the Ecstasy Spa Novels is that I really enjoyed this steamy, sexy book that definitely had me wanting more. I loved both characters Anabelle and Seth. Anabelle needed someone to show her she was capable of doing things out of her comfort zone and Seth needed someone to prove to him that every woman was not the same. Suzanne Rock wrote some really, really erotic scenes between the characters that will require you to have a cold shower after wards or for the ones who smoke, a cigarette after being able to visualize how Suzanne wrote the encounter between Seth and Anabelle. SEXY HOT! I love the story of the Ecstasy Spa and how different it is from other erotic novels I have read. Can I also say...Seth is a hottie! He came up with the idea of the Quick Fix...and it definitely was a great fix for Anabelle and himself. She definitely showed she was able to do things out of her comfort zone. She gave herself doubt in the beginning, but when she finally gave in, she grew as a character. I definitely was looking forward to the 2nd book after finishing this book even more. Suzanne Rock is one author who I will definitely read more books from. =) If you want a short erotic read, you'll definitely enjoy the first book to the Ecstasy Spa Novels. (less)

I was looking for a short christmas themed erotic book that would capture my interest since I hardly read holiday themed books. "Wish List" by Sylvia Day (which originally was published in White Hot Holidays Vol 2) definitely did not disappoint and now has me looking for other christmas themed books. I also did not want to miss out on an opportunity to read another book from Sylvia.
Stephanie Martin has had feelings for Nicolas for awhile now, but never thought it would work out because Nick is too much of a play boy. He goes through women like crazy. At the annual Christmas party for their law firm though, Stephanie opens up her Secret Santa gift and to her amazement, she is about to get one of her Christmas Wish List items crossed off. How did Nick know about her secret Wish List...she'll only be able to find out if she asks him. Nicolas has been trying everything to capture Stephanie's interests. He has been flirting with her for the past months and all of his ex-girlfriends, friends and family members want to know why he just does not ask Stephanie out. He wants to make it special and one night when he comes across a crumpled piece of paper with some wish list items that include his name....now is his shot to win over the beautiful and sexy co-worker he has had eyes on forever.
I thought Wish List definitely was a very erotic, sexy, fast pace read that I had a hard time putting down. I literally read it in less than a hour. I enjoyed the storyline of having a naughty wish list being fulfilled. Makes me want to create my own instead of having an actual gift. Watch out hubby. =) Nicolas could definitely be every woman's dream come true when it came to fulfilling wish lists and making dreams come true and the ending I literally teared up on when he found out the truth on why Stephanie was so distant and why she did not think a real relationship would work out between them. Nicolas though, fought hard to win her over. It may be a short read, but Wish List will keep anyone warm during the cold winter nights for just a short awhile and maybe who knows it will make you want to come up with your own naughty wish list with your significant other....or even win over that special someone you've had your eye on for awhile.
I definitely look forward to reading more books from Sylvia very soon. I'm a HUGE fan of her books and this book definitely is a must-read again for next Christmas. (less)

This is my first book from the fabulous Katie Porter and it definitely will not be my last. My blog partner has read Katie's books before and I read the synopsis of "Lead and Follow", I knew it was one book I had to read from Katie Porter.
"Lead and Follow" is a erotica with M/M and Menage in it. Erotica is one of my fave genres and having M/M and Menage elements made this book beyond HOT. Remember me saying the synopsis sold me on reading this book, well reading this book, I definitely look forward to reading the next book in the Club Devant series and so on. This is the first book I have read that has dancing in it and the dancing is ballroom style, but with a lot of sexiness involved. Here you have the sexy Russian who has the right moves and the sexy blonde bombshell who knows the sexy Russian's moves by heart. In fact she knows how to make the Russian fall for her.
After her injury while dancing with her partner, Lizzie has been coping with what happen. She could lose everything she ever worked for including her partner if she does not get her act together. Dima remembers the day his partner tore her ACL and it has been eating at him since then. He wants his dance partner back, but she has been acting different ever since the injury. Club Devant where Dima dances at now with his new partner is not what he truly wants. He feels stressed due to what happened to his partner and the club owner knows something is missing in Dima's life. It takes an outsider to have Lizzie and Dima realize what they are capable of doing together. Paul, the outsider who is the bartender at Club Devant meets with Lizzie and has some fun with her and he is intrigued with Dima the minute he sees him. Lizzie and Dima are about to make his world different, but he is about to change their world as well.
Katie Porter pulls you into story of two stubborn friends who put themselves through so much drama and sex. She thens makes you run to take several cold showers after all the amazing sex between Paul, Dima, and Lizzie. OMG! Just thinking about those scenes...makes me want to have a cold glass of water to calm down. Dima and Lizzie have so much chemistry, not only because of their dances together, but being there with and for each other since they were young. I fell in love with both them the minute they were introduced. The best part of this book was you get inside the head of both of them so you feel each of their emotions and what they are going through. Who did I side with more though...Dima. Poor guy...he definitely was feeling crazy over what Lizzie kept putting him through. I just wanted to go through the book and hug him and maybe even steal him from Lizzie. I was rooting for them to get together though. They definitely were meant for each other. Paul, the sexy cowboy bartender....my thoughts on him...sex in a cowboy hat...enough said on that one. Remember the saying, save a horse, ride a cowboy....definitely thinking that when I read the scenes with Paul. Lizzie was one lucky gal in this story. She had both Dima and Paul. She needed that swift kick in the butt at the end though. Oh...and the ending was the best part in the story. I was literally in tears. I felt like I was on stage with Dima when his dance partner came into the light.
Katie Porter's "Lead and Follow" is an amazing sexy start to the Club Devant novels. The title alone should have you wanting to buy the book because the title has meaning to the story and what happens between the characters.
I give this book 4.5 full moons and highly recommend it to readers who enjoy the erotica genre. I look forward to what Katie Porter does in the next books and I will be well-prepared ahead of time when I read the next books too...cold water and ice to help me cool down and maybe even a glass of wine or two or three. Oh yes...this is that kind of book.
I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author in exchange for an honest review.(less)

I first noticed this book on Amazon one day underneath my recommendations and decided to place it on my Wish List. I have always loved the 1920s and the description of this book, as well as the cover, had me already ready to buy it when it released. I was contacted by Stephanie's assistant inJanuary to read the book early and review it. I definitely could not pass it up since the book was on the top of my Wish List so I did not miss out on buying it.
Stephanie Draven not only dived me into the Roaring 1920's with flappers, prohibition, and women's suffrage...but she brought me into a world of 20's erotica that includes BDSM, menage, and scandals.
Three different stories, but each have a connection with each other, which made me love this book even more. I believe more authors should do this kind of writing style. It made everything fall in place and took me into other's people's heads during each story.
The first story, Leave Me or Love Me, is about Nora Richardson and how her husband is going to leave her due to what she did with another man. She will stop at anything to win him back and have him with her forever. She'll even discover things about herself, she never knew she enjoyed. She'll even discover what her husband always wanted from her. This story definitely takes you out of your comfort zone and what Nora endures with her husband. He puts her in certain scenarios that would make women cringe, feel embarrass, or leave their husbands for. Instead, Nora is a strong-willed wife that will please her husband and spite her father, just to prove to her husband she loves him.
The second story, When I'm Bad I'm Better, is about the famous actress, Clara Cartwright, who has never fallen in love. Until, she meets a stranger one night, who has something of hers that could hurt her career. The stranger is about to reveal the real Clara and what she is capable of doing. He'll push her to new boundaries, she never thought she would enjoy, until the stranger introduces her to his best friend. This story leads you into a menage story where Clara is about to be devoured by two handsome guys, but only one will steal her heart permanently and change her for the better.
The last story, Let's Misbehave, is about the working girl Sophie O'Brien, who works at the hotel run by Robert Aster. He is introduced several times in this book. Sophie never thought her fantasies would come true, until she is called into her boss's office to discuss the journal that was found in her locker. He wants to make her journal fantasies come alive. In the mean time though, she may be over her head with Robert. Robert also may be over his head...but both are going to find out how much they really need each other in their lives.
I enjoyed all three stories and also enjoyed being taken back in the past with certain historical elements that definitely have intrigued me since I studied the Roarin' Twenties in school. Stephanie Draven did an amazing job on putting everything together and making it feel like I was taken back in that era with her characters. Each story gets you out of your comfort zone, and Stephanie Draven makes each story more erotic it seems. ( at least in my opinion it was....one of my fave scenes is in the last story....let's just say it involves restraining an individual) =) This book includes elements of BDSM, menage, and several other elements that you will have to read to find out. If you love historical romance and erotica together, you will enjoy this sexy, erotic novel from Stephanie Draven. (less)
