This second-chance at love story doesn't hit the mark and left this reader in the cold, dark abyss. Fanny is determined to make Rafe "pay" for his past mistake - over and over, again and again. (I suppose saving her life more than a few times, while on the run, from a crazed lunatic society out to destroy her doesn't count.)
And what's with the biting of the bottom lip? Enough is enough already.
What truly disappointed me was the reason for the initial breakup of Fanny and Rafe. It was never thoroughly revealed or discussed. We were given very little information of what actually happened and the why's of the perpetrators behind it. ...more
