I can admit I was not too sure if I would like them from the beginning because of their sex & bondage (I've had talks with Jessie about this LOL, seriously her books are the only books I will read that have a rope of any kind involved in the bedroom) but these two just work for me. Jessie writes such amazingly loving men who are not only tough but are so emotional vulnerable that you can't help but fall in love with each one of them. Both men wanted to be married but knew waiting was what was best for their family so when the time finally was right and Ty asked Chase I think their quick, personal ceremony was perfect for them. I cried because it was just written so perfectly sweet for these two, even though they are not so private with their sex life I loved that they made this so very personal between just them. Can we talk about Chapter 6 now? Jessie knows I love Chris, jeez who doesn't right? I cried again reading this chapter, Chris has come so far, not only with Owen's help but Ty and Chase had a lot to do with that too. By including him in such a huge part of their life only helps him more and we all know how much he loves those kids. From beginning to end this was such a fantastic read, I loved every single thing about this book. ...more

I liked the banter between the aunts and their sneaky ways to get Dylan to admit that he was in a relationship with Neal but too much was wrapped up neatly at the end. It seemed like Neal was more willing to change his whole life for Dylan without Dylan making any adjustments to his because he was so worried about what people in his little town would think....more

V and Jane- WTF? Really? A bonded male is contemplating cheating? Really? A series with 14 other books that have been dedicated to romance, love, mating, eternal love and bonding with ONE female, the male is contemplating cheating? He has the time to check his gmail account of past lovers, has time to figure out what is missing in his relationship with his mate but he can't take that time to figure out a solution to make his relationship work? Oh please, give me a break! Why not leave him alone? Why not for once just let V be happy? WTF has he done that he can't be happy for once? Just leave him be..nope can't do it, she has to drag him through the dumpster and make it worse before it gets better. Well that is shit to me, just leave him alone, all the other males are happy, why not V?
On a side note, a good one- at least she didn't kill Z. He got one mention in this book. He's the only reason I gave it a 2 star instead of a one star because seriously....a Brother contemplating cheating W.T.F????
Tres (Selena) & Trez- opened that and BAM left that hanging. She is seen on video disappearing but we hear nothing else about it- oh wait, I know that is going to be another of the seven storylines in the next book. We can't have less than seven storylines going in one book now can we?
Throe and his organismic reactions to a book- really can he get any crazier? Saw that coming a mile away. A killer shadow balloon
Xcor and Layla- His bonding scent seemed to not be as on point as all the other males in the past books- I guess he can pick when he wanted to show that he had feelings for her? Sex 7 times in one day- really? He had someone pumping his heart to restart it but hours later he is getting it on in that back of the limo- I just can't with this book.
Too many repetitive phrases and name brand dropping...again!
Qhuinn and Blay- Blay should have punched that punk out when he started spouting that crap off, leaving him was a start but he should have punched him in the face first then walked out. Q- what type of man ignores a baby because that baby girl looks like it's mom- what a childish behavior. Waving a gun around kids and discharging that gun in a room with children, then Wrath kicking Tohr out for going after Xcor but not Qhuinn doing something this stupid- jeez!
Tohr and Xcor- Oh we have the same eyes and jawline- hugs brother, love you all forgive, umm ok. Dude just shot him days before???
I don't know why I keeping up with this series because I get so frustrated and upset, I should have stopped with that hot mess called Phurry's book. This series used to be one of the best vampire series out there but the last books have not been worth the time or price. These words and opinions are mine, they are what I felt about the book that I purchased via audible. ...more

I liked the set up of explaining the FireWorks Security company and employees without going into so much detail that I was bored. The build up of the relationship between Joel and Kieran from friends & work partners to lovers was well written to me. They both felt so much for each other for the past four years and to finally be able to express their feelings made this part of the book romantic. I'm looking forward to the next installment of this series and more of Joel and Kieran....more

I thought Seb was a pompous ass that tried to control his friend Jared (from book 1) and now he's trying to control Tim. He flip flopped his emotions throughout the book regarding Tim and his feelings regarding shifters and becoming one, drove me a little nuts. Once he settled on what he really wanted from Tim the book got better but that indecisiveness was a little off putting throughout 80% of the book. The struggle between the packs and the need to protect their mates was a good part of the story. I just hope book three is about Alec- that should be a very hot story!...more
