Anna is the sister of fellow Wind Dragons member Rake and out of bounds to any member, but that doesn't stop the immediate attraction that flares up between Arrow and Anna when they first meet, with Rake's over-protectiveness and Arrow's self-punishment it seems nothing will ever eventuate between the two, but denying their feelings for one another is futile, and explaining their relationship to Rake is not going to be easy, but they are ready and willing to give it a go and finally find the happiness they each both deserve.
I flew through the two books in this series in no time and I'm eager to get my hands on the next installment featuring my other favorite Wild Dragons member Tracker, I CAN NOT WAIT!
A highly addictive and steamy series that will only leave you begging for more.
I can't recommend this series enough, trust me you'll love it!

That was in part to Danielle's delightfully amusing lead character Lola, the daughter of two famous actors who are now divorced and seemingly oblivious to the lack of time and attention they pay to Lola, so when Lola's best-friend Sydney calls her from rehab telling her that Wade Miller an actor she befriended years ago whilst helping him on his first movie and whom she still has a crush, on is being admitted she knows she needs to find a way to be sent there as well, Lola knows she needs to be an addict of some kind and so begins her entertaining way of convincing her Mom she has an alcohol problem, after a couple of failures her Mom is finally realising that Lola needs some serious help for her (fake) addiction.
Once in rehab Lola discovers that it's nothing like the spa resort that Sydney told her it was and Sydney is nowhere to be seen, add to that she's expected to talk about her feelings, keep up the pretense of being an alcoholic, deal with her unusual roommates and it doesn't help that she keeps butting heads with her gorgeous mentor Adam either.
Lola will discover love where she least expects it, new friends, an understanding of her deep seated feelings she has towards her parents and most importantly herself.
This book was both humorous and at times quite sad, Danielle has crafted a story that is hard to put down and an incredible read that I thoroughly enjoyed. ...more

This is what happens to Nick, you know you're usual hot, rich, sex obsessed lead who finds a quiet, gorgeous woman in this case Scotty who's hiding a secret that has affected her relationships with men and for good reason, she's a student in his architectural class, he is the professor, Nick just can't seem to get Scotty out of his mind and so hires her as his intern at the highly successful architectural firm he works at, with a spiteful and vengeful co-worker he slept with making her time there hell, Scotty is determined to stick it out, desperate for the money the internship brings in.
So I was really enjoying the story and Nick's character until around the 74% mark that's when although he was in love with Scotty, (something tragic in her past was keeping her from being the kind of girlfriend he wanted which is understandable given what she went through), he sleeps with a woman he met through a friend and spends the weekend with her, when he starts back at work the next week and hears gossip that Scotty went out with a guy from work, just as friends, he immediately assumes the worst without even asking her and then proceeds to ignore her giving her the cold shoulder, even telling himself that the secret she entrusted enough to tell him was all made up and she's nothing but a liar, that's when I started disliking his character, talk about double standards, it was stupid and a real downer after loving the story and character up till then.
Unfortunately after that I just wasn't interested in Nick or anything he thought or had to say, there was nothing he could have done to endear me to him after that, Scotty deserved so much better than him, and with the male lead unlikeable in my eyes, I struggled to finish the book and while I did get there in the end and to the cliffhanger, I'm not sure if I want to carry on with the series, once I dislike a main character I find it hard to enjoy the story, unfortunately what started off so well for me ended on a sour note because of Nick's actions and thoughts.
My rating is based on the first 74% of the book I enjoyed....more

Set just days after the last book, C.J has been kidnapped by the Albanian mob who plan on selling her as a sex slave, Asher is determined to find her before she is sold, but finding her won't be easy and what he agrees to do to find out where she is being held will have massive ramifications that will continue on into the next book.
A major twist will send the storyline in a new direction that the reader will not expect, I for one didn't but I actually enjoyed it quite a lot, of course this book ends not with a cliffhanger so much but a situation that will leave readers hanging as we await the outcome in the third and final book in the trilogy.
Annie's writing is such that the anticipation of what is going to happen throughout the story will leave you on tenterhooks with never a dull moment.
I recommend this series to people who love contemporary romance with a little something extra, simply a joy to read. ...more

Faye is a straight A law student, top of her class, the daughter of strict parents she never puts a foot wrong, when she discovers her long-term boyfriend Eric cheating on her, she decides to go out to a bar and that's when she runs into childhood friend and crush Dex, who also happens to be Eric's brother, after a hot and steamy night of sex Faye doesn't expect to run into Dex anytime soon, until she discovers she's pregnant, when he finds out he waste's no time in hunting her down and taking her back to his club's headquarters, but living there is a adjustment, with people walking around naked both males and females and couples having sex out in the open not caring who sees.
The dynamics with Dex as Vice-President of the club and his interactions with his 'brothers', and the way problems are dealt with between club members is a lot to get used to, with a baby on the way and her relationship with Dex leaving Faye confused and unsure where they stand with each other, feeling like she belongs here won't happen straight away, but amongst all of Dex's 'brothers' she'll find the family she always wanted.
I really loved this book and with so many characters whose books I can't wait to read I'll be eagerly anticipating each and every new release.

I was drawn to this book because of it's premise, C.J is agoraphobic after a tragedy that has left her housebound for the last six months, quickly running out of money she knows she needs to get back to work, she decides to venture outside but doesn't make it far before it becomes too much and she loses consciousness, when she comes to she finds herself in a strange apartment that just so happens to belong to billionaire hottie Asher Sloane, the attraction and chemistry between the two is evident from the start, Asher having known someone who suffers the same phobia as C.J tries to help out as much as he can.
While C.J is fast developing feelings for Asher and believes that theirs is the beginning of a new relationship, Asher makes a proposition to C.J to pretend to be his fiancee to be rid of his stalker ex-girlfriend, in return he'll give her $100,000, also letting her know that he is incapable of falling in love with anybody and she shouldn't expect anything more, C.J is insulted and refuses to have anything to do with Asher, but when she is in dire need of money she has no choice but to agree, it's not too long though before they both start falling in love with each other even Asher who swore that would never happen, but when a secret that Asher has been hiding comes to light will this be the end of their relationship?
With a shock of an ending that will leave you desperately wanting and needing the next book, this is one series that you'll have trouble putting down, full of suspense, drama, mystery and some really hot love scenes to boot this story will be sure to keep you on your toes.

I loved the chemistry between straightlaced prim and proper Audrey and sexy playboy Reese, when Audrey arranges with childhood friend Cade to use his cabin to help her world famous singing sensation and drug addict twin sister Daphne detox, she never would have guessed that as well as helping her sister with the assistance of Cade that she would come to realise that her longtime crush on him is nothing compared to the feelings that billionaire Reese brings out in her, sure her first impressions aren't great, when she first meets him he's making out with a woman in a hot tub at the cabin, but he is the only one capable of bringing out her fiery side which she keeps hidden.
What starts off as a lot of dares between the two which include kissing and skinny-dipping, they'll soon both come to realise that they're more suited to one another than they'll ever admit, it soon becomes awkward with Audrey's old crush Cade and new one Reese cohabiting in the same place, but fate has it's way of working things out, and with these two and their stubborness to admit their feelings they'll need it.
The interaction between this couple was not only steamy but very funny as well. I was entertained the whole way through, the storyline flowed effortlessly and ended way to soon, I enjoyed reading Audrey and Reese's story I just wanted more pages to spend more time with this couple that I really love.
Another great release from Jessica, now for the next one! ...more

O.K I'll admit right at the start that before Manwhore I had never read a Katy Evans book, while I do own most of her Marked Men series unless it's a review book it doesn't get read, that's why when I was given the opportunity to review this book I was so excited, it helped that the synopsis sounded amazing as well, and well I loved it!
I was so addicted to this book that I couldn't stop thinking about it, I was anxiously awaiting my break at work so I could pick it up again, only to be utterly disappointed when break was over and I had to put it down and countdown to home time so I could finish it uninterrupted.
The main reason for my obsession with the story can be explained in two words MALCOLM SAINT, for those of you who have read the book I don't need to explain myself at all, for the people who haven't picked this book up yet you need to get on that pronto!
Malcolm Saint is a single, gorgeous hunk of a man who also happens to be a billionaire, Rachel Livingston is a columnist for Edge magazine which is slowly going under, they need a big story to help raise the readership, when she's given the job of doing an expose on Saint she's excited to finally get a story to work on which she's dreamed of since she joined the magazine, her only trouble is getting close enough to Saint to learn some secrets which she can use in her story.
Using his new business Interface as an excuse to score an interview, her first meeting with him certainly leaves an impression, and over the next few meetings Saint becomes intrigued with Rachel and she with him,
As feelings develop between the two, what will happen if and when Saint ever finds out that she betrayed his trust something that he doesn't give out so easily.
There may have been a screamed out noooooooooooooo when I got to the last page of Manwhore, I may even have had some weird looks shot my way because of it, its just one of the worst cliffhangers ever!
You can bet your ass that I'm dying to get my hands on the next book, I need it now!!!!!
I'm so glad I was sent this book, it was steamy, sizzling and sure to leave you hot under the collar, there will be no question that Manwhore will be in my top five books of the year, once you start you won't want to put it down.

Letting the readers in oBreaking Nova had me hooked from the first page, the prologue was an insight into the way Jessica set the tone for this story.
Letting the readers in on the tragedies that befell Nova and Quinton early on which turned them into the people we meet in the first chapter gives us an insight into why they have become so withdrawn, grief-stricken and prone to addiction, neither are coping with the tragedies that have defined them, both have in a way given up, Quinton especially who is on a downward spiral to nowhere.
Nova is home on Summer break, through her friend Delilah she finds herself hanging around with the wrong crowd, drug users/dealers and it's not long before she finds herself partaking in the drugs that seem to be prevalent throughout the trailer where they spend most of their time, living there is Quinton who has been disowned by all of his family except Tristan who's trailer he's staying in, Quinton bears a strong resemblance to somebody named Landon that Nova is desperately trying to forget that and the reason why he's no longer around with the drugs leaving her hazy and out of it, letting her for a time whilst high to not think or care about anything.
Nova and Quinton are both drawn to one another, each of them feel guilty about their feelings for each other, they both need saving, both need redemption and to neither feel guilty for actions beyond their control.
Breaking Nova is a story that features heavy subject matters, it doesn't shy away and doesn't apologise for what it is, this is real life, this stuff really happens, it's a sad but true fact that not everybody's lives are perfect, people struggle, some can only feel relief from the guilt in certain ways, to escape they turn to whatever they can to just forget if only for a little while, it's heartbreaking but realistic and I applaud Jessica for that.
After the ending I'm anxious to get to the next book which I have sitting here next to me waiting to be picked up, I really enjoyed this book I just hope life picks up for Quinton especially in the next book....more
