We are intorduced with Blaire, a girl who lost everything. She lost her mom and sister and she has to move in with her dad that she barely knew cause he left them.
This book is such a roller coaster of emotions. But mostly it was all about the pain and the agony. Blaire's life is so sad. She experienced a lot of pain for such an early age. She's been through a lot, I can't imagine a life she had. Just when she thought she is happy. Everything was taken away from her. I can't... I just can't I feel so sad while reading the book it is so depressing...
The plot of the book, is nothing that I've read before. It has this twist at the end that I have never expected. I was supposed to be surprised. But I wasn't, it just added up the pain that I have experienced while reading it. The Romance aspect of the book is so intense! The love scenes here made it intensified due to such raw emotions in the book.
Rush's character, is really dark and creepy. I was expecting a very swoon worthy character, but he just gave me the creeps. Just Look at his dialogues :
"are you sore?" "I'm Fine" "Do you feel stretched? Can you tell I've been inside you" "good. I like knowing you can feel where I've been,"
"Mine. This is Mine." "Mine. This sweet pussy is mine, Blaire." "Tell me it's mine"
I thought he is just disturbed, and he has a mental condition, that's why he is acting like that, But NO! I am kinda disturbed with his actions and dialogues. He is way way too pervy for me. I know he likes Blaire. But this... This is too much.
The ending is like a slap in the face... It is so freaking SAD! Why did it have to end like that. HUHUHUHUHUHHU!!! I can't. The emotional turmoil is getting in to me... Please let the other books be happy and let Blaire have her happy ending. HUHUHU...
I read this book cause Cassie will be played by Chloe Grace Moretz, I just happen to see the If I Stay movie and she was so good in playing Mia Hall. so yes!!! Consider me a fan...
What can I say about the book?
It was really, really, really scary! This dystopian book gave me the creeps. I was not entirely prepared for that. I was sucked into this world were the agony and pain is really vivid. The way how the world will be destroyed by aliens is scary. Earth will be destroyed in a very slowly that all of us will feel it's agony. They will see people suffer first, and then they will wipe out the entire population. they have these series of levels on how we can be wiped out, it kinda reminds me of the seven plague, and that gave me shivers. The Aliens here are not entirely described on what they look like or what is their intentions.
Cassie is the main character, for me I don't feel her. She is this kind of heroine that I wasn't much crazy for, I know the author has plans for her. She will bloom in the next book I bet.
Some part of the book confuses me, like changing of the POV of the characters. I am really not sure whose thoughts I am reading. Besides me being scared and everything. I think the story is really incomplete. I do love the way the world in this book is described. But I do wish more story development. I really have no rants and comments about the characters. They are OK. They pose these teenagers that has about right maturity in their minds. which I admire, I love all of them. I don't dislike any character in this book.
I guess I am up for the second book. I wish it will be better than this one....more

I highly recommend this book to everyone who's in to romance and chick lit. It is that good. This is my second favorite belonging to the Romance Genre. Anna and the French Kiss is still Queen though. :)
We are introduced with the main character whose name is Drew Evans. The book is narrated by him. He is this douchebag, womanizer ,egotistical, self absurd and likes to have sex all the time kind of guy. But reading this man's thought is such a joy. I was laughing all the time with his dialogues and thoughts. He is so damn funny, I want more of him in every single page. His metaphorical views and comparison to things are simply informative, and made you empathize with him. I cannot believe that this is written by Emma Chase? seriously? She delivered this narration in such a very flawless way coming from a Point of view of a guy, considering she is a woman?
The love story build up is so fresh and dynamic for a thin paged book it was so descriptive and narrative that made me feel so satisfied from beginning to finish. for a smutty book I did not expect it to be this light and made you experience falling in love and have butterflies in your stomach. It was soooo good. I always compare reading a good romance book as eating a chocolate, well in this one it is like eating your most sinful comfort food and you don't hold anything back. you just eat eat and eat... ( Oh Drew, Drew, Look what you've done to me)
This is such a feel good book, Just don't mind the smutty scenes. This book is such a joy. That I want all the characters to have their own book From "The Bitch" up to Mackenzie. Yeah! That Good. If this book is a person. I will marry it. T'was my favorite read this 2014. I will definitely give the other Three books a go!

The book was set into a utopian world were everyone has control on everything. decisions are made for you, jobs have made for you, if ever you start to feel normal, meds will be given to stop it. The world introduced here is they practice transparency since the families tell each other everything. Even their dreams, even the things they did throughout the day. The book is somehow weird. with all these elements combined together.
When I was reading this book, it was written so beautifully i was truly captivated by the narrating and the writing style of the book. It is unlike the sci fi book that I;ve read, which some of them are just brutal and graphic. but this one it is written somehow lyrically that it kinda masked out the wrongness of their world.
The book is good. but i got bored while reading it. It was so slow paced for me for such a 187 page book. I just don't feel anything towards the character, I don't feel any connection towards him. He was really plain for me. No attachment or impact to me whatsoever. I am not sure if I am still up for the second book. Maybe I should just give the next installment a rest....more
I actually don't know what to make out of this book?? I am really confused on all the setting and secrets just spilled out of thisWHAT THE SHUCK!!!!!
I actually don't know what to make out of this book?? I am really confused on all the setting and secrets just spilled out of this book.
The book started of where the first installment just ended. at first the story just flowed really fluidly everything was really smooth. It was a light read on the first couple of pages in the book. Just the same old obstacles faced by our young heroes. They are still in the dark on why they are there. and Thomas just keep on having these visions and his mind is just boggling with questions that is searching for answers.
Things got a little bit tricky when all new characters just keep on showing up,I have nothing against the new characters, it's just that I am really confused on how to categorize them. They keep on implying that they should be trusted. But they sure act like that they should not be trusted. Which just added to all the confusions that is lingering on the book, I really don't know who to trust in this book, or what the plot is all about. Some secrets are just so frustrating that made me want to know the answers immediately. None of the questions were just answered in this book, not only that, but the secrets just keeps on piling up.
I really don't know what to think and feel. James Dashner made a cliff hanger ending. a cliff hanger with more secrets in the side. He made us believe that WICKED is the enemy, now we don't know who the enemy is. I even have doubts on who Thomas and Theresa is. Not all of their memories are back so it is hard to know which side they are on. I am starting to think that we should trust just the supporting characters cause i feel like they have more pure intentions than Theresa and Thomas. if the last book will not answer all these questions I will seriously throw it and burn it. HAHA...more

The book tackles about letting go and grief. The book started off introducing us to Nelly who has this most romantic relationship with her bestfriend. everything was OK. everthing was so lovely until an accident ruined everything leaving her boyfriend / bestfriend dead. She blames herself for it. She thinks it's her fault that her boyfriend died. She didn't grieve. She doesn't want to feel anything. She wont't let go. Until Colton appeeared and made her to let go.
The book was a lovely read. especially on the first couple of pages. I personally liked Nell and Kyle's story. I liked how their friendship bloomed into something more. It was so cute on how they try to explore eah other's feelings. How they went to these stages of relationship . How they crossed the path of being friends and to something more than that.
The part where the accident happened was so intense. I feel like I see things everyhting so clear in my eyes. It was so sad and Heart wrenching. I cannot really fathom the words on how to describe it. I just sobbed like a baby when I read that part. By that point in the book. I was ready to give the highest rating in the book. cause it was so raw and graphic that I feel like spilling every core of my emotions in it.
But I don't know? the book tackles about accepting things and grieving and letting go of our sad memories. I am a bit clueless on how did that turned out for this book? I don't know what kind of message I get from it. Does it mean that a person has to fuck and have sex all the time enable to let go of the past? The book resembles Ten Tiny Breaths cause it is pretty much the same, but in that book it is detailed more on how to deal with sad memories. but in this book? ahmmm. I don't know. I am a bit lost on how the characters deal with their own monsters and ghost. I know they went through a lot of shit, and have dark past but it didn't show much on how they dealt with it. They just have hard sex all the time enable to let go of their emotions. It was hot. but I am so confused cause that was their means of letting go?? It was confusing. Maybe the author was trying to convey that a way for a person to let go is to love someone else and find someone who empathize with you? if that's it. Then i am pretty darn confuse on why the book was soooo darn about sex. MEH.
The book is beautiful by all means. The details were nice especially the retteling of their sad memories. But I was expecting a bit more from it. I am expecting to see on the true art of letting go. How is it done, How to deal with it. It seems like the book didn't deliver that so yeah. 3 stars for the book....more

whAllegiant: The Final book of the Divergetn series has finally come. It's been a year since it was published and I only got a chance to read it now.
what do i think of the last book of the series?? Well let's just say that I should've kept my curiosity of the book at bay. I was not really a huge fan of the last book of the series. But is still manage to gave it 3 stars. The thing is, the whole book didn't pretty much left me anything to hang on to. Like I really don't know the whole shift of the book thing. experiments, new world stuff and serum thingys just doesn't seem to make the book so interesting. A muddle of thoughts are swirling in this book.
Despite the whole uncertainty of the book. It still manage to leave me crying. I know someone will make the "Sacrifice" . all along while reading it I was thinking that it will be Tobias. I mean every YA author always kills the dude. It been a tradition. but this one seems different. The chick made the sacrifice. which by the way I am pretty not much sure if the sacrifice she made was worth it? anyways it is still heart wrenching to see baby Toby suffer beacause he lost the love of his life.
Sad, confused and left me feeling incomplete. That's Allegiant not the best book i've read from the series. considering I loved the First book so much. But yeah thanks to Theo james who awakened the divergent lover inside of me and made me finish the entire book series.
"…death is better because death is the end of fear, isn’t it?
I am absolutely mortified on what I just read, I am a Gone series fan since Book 5 : Fear
"…death is better because death is the end of fear, isn’t it?
I am absolutely mortified on what I just read, I am a Gone series fan since day 1, and since we are talking about Gone Series it has this elements that makes up it's identity like let's say the gore, it's twistedness and a lot of things that absolutely will just freak every reader. But I don't know what's in this book that made those elements intensified. The book title live up to it's name. I did feel scared and nervous at the same time while reading it. My heart was pounding on every page. I think it was Penny who made the book really scary. The visions she just make just really give me the creeps. what she did to Cigar and Caine is like a work of a psycho unleashed in a mental ward. Her character is the type that gives you nightmares at night. For me she is the cherry on top of the whole book. without her, FEAR is not evident in this book.
But aside from the gore and the book's creepiness I did enjoy reading it, I cannot put it down for the reason that in each page is really captivating it has this snippets where the adults were featured, and I am really just itching what really happened to them I mean .. Hello?? why did they leave Perdido Beach ? where are they?? But somehow maybe just a little bit the mystery was unveiled. Yeah but I still need the last book to really answer all the questions lingering in Perdido Beach. and yeah. Maybe an Evil Baby featured in the book seems somehow interesting. Hahaha... and really shipping Hard ASTRID X SAM and CAINE X DAINA.
I love you. All my heart. Forever. But get the hell out of here, because I can't be watching out for you" -Sam Temple
ooohhh,.. and Sam walking out of the adults is completely bad ass he's like
im kinda surprised by myself on how much i loved this book .

at first i think kacey was reallu all over the place she seems unstable and pervy ... i was not liking her one bit cuz she was all over the place. i was about to give the book a bad rating cause it seems like i am reading a perspective of a girl who hates the world.
but that changed when the book featured a different story with coping with things and letting go of the past and drowning your demons along with it , the content of the book is inspirational ,it makes you feel like there's still hope after a very very sad event that happened in your life.
The romance in the book is the kind of romance the you encounter in every chick lit novel ,its just like this time it's different because you get to combine two dark characters. at first you didn't think that their chemistry will go well because you combined bad to bad people who just collided with each other and found solace with each other the Romance is different that way but you still feel the butterflies and giddiness after reading it and after reading this book you should feel like you should fall in love also.
I am ending this review by telling you that you should read it . you will not regret reading it . it is really worth it . i am signing up myself for the next book featuring Livvie....more

so Plague the book title speak for itself the FAYZ has been attacked by a mysterious plague that is killing all the mutant kids one by one.
the book is filled with blood, gore and graphic violence, which the whole series is known for. but this time it seems really different cause i get to see the characters in this book in a whole new light, and they are progressing in a way that shocked me.
the booked wrapped up with a plot that really keeps me going and would want me to keep on reading the entire seriea until the end. yeah....! let's go find out what will happen to the kids of FAYZ....more
I ... I ... I really don't know what to say about this book. up until now I am trying my best to muster words.
would you call me somehow cray-cI ... I ... I really don't know what to say about this book. up until now I am trying my best to muster words.
would you call me somehow cray-cray if I tell you that this book was good.? oh goodness! this book is twisted and perverted and made 50 shades seems like child's play. but the thing is the book just talks about the whole issue of human trafficking in a whole new side, it was graphic and descriptive. made me take away my innocence of the said issue. it was not what I expect but still I find this book really good, made me see things in a whole new light.
the whole romance in this book was completely unexpected. it was really crazy! I mean hello? would you fall for someone who just happen to like uh. rape you? abused you, and like sell you to be a sex slave. uhm no I think not!!!! no just no! . this is one thing that I just dont get while reading this. I am seriously not fangirling over caleb and kitten.
overall: the book was a mindblowing experience. not suggested for youngsters, since pornography and descriptive perverted things are illustrated. the ending is not what I expect. but I think I am not in it for the next book. my mind is not yet ready to see more of what I just saw in this book....more

what can I say? The last book of the infernal devices blew me away. a lot of things just happened in this book. a mixture of drama, romance, magic and a lot lot more.
this book was written really well, I enjoyed every single page of it. and I really admire cassie clare's writing, on how she showed not just romantic love but also a love for your friends and family. she showed such vivid strong emotions each character held that made me emphatize with each character, the twist is just really unexpected.
this book was a great energy booster to start my year right.! another book series that ended well. I will surely miss William, James and Tessa....more
I cannot really muster the words to describe on how good this book is.
to be honest I am not a huge fan of the first book, i'm noMe after Reading this:
I cannot really muster the words to describe on how good this book is.
to be honest I am not a huge fan of the first book, i'm not sure I really even liked the clockwork angel. may be because I tend to compare it to TMI. and I just find Jace even more attractive than Will so I really dismiss any memory of the first book.
but this book was different. the next installment of the infernal devices I can tell that this one s filled with passion and longing. OH MY GOD! It really unleashed the fangirl inside me. WOW! the kissing scene between the Tess and Jem and Tess and Will really made me explode! WHOA! it was that hot!
knowing Cassandra Clare. The Queen of all cliffhangers. well this one is no different that her other books. It has a shocking and heartbreaking ending and It leave me longing for the next book.yay!
as for MR. Herondale. don't worry baby I am on your side. you deserve Tessa Gray more than anything. YAY!

I seems kind of cool right? living in a whole new place where no adults exist?! It is every child's dream cause to them living n a world with no adult is some kind of freedom right? This whole book grasp this kind of idea wherein children below 15 years of age, left to live in a whole new world where no adults exist...
I happen to just bump in this book cause Goodreads has this nifty feature where they recommend books according to your shelf. (NOOB MUCH) since i happen to love Unwind so much! This book is number one on my recommendation list.
as I was reading this book I was so amazed! It seems like all of my favorite TV shows is mashed up in this book! and it seems so surreal for me that the kids in this book are so smart and not only that they are Mutants, they posses different kind of powers and also they are disturbed kids with such unfathomable issues, some of them are psychos and lunatics and power hungry.
I highly enjoy reading this book but that only lasted on some parts, I begin to realize that as the story progress I find it kind of a blur, I mean characters are popping up everywhere, Dialogues are popping up everywhere, scenery is popping up everywhere, and I begin to realize that the book is like Animal Farm. Only instead of animals fighting over for power, Kids under the age of 15 are fighting for power, and infairness to them they know all about politics in such an early age. >:D
but come to think of it, I like how the whole book is written, since this book has such huge number of page, i find it to be an easy read, it wad written simply and not very complex and I really enjoyed it's writing style. I just find the whole book so-so. The plot of the book is not my cup of tea, I enjoyed it but didn't entirely like it. But I am planning on reading the other books in the series, since I like the characters in this book, and besides I want to know what the Darkness is and I think this book just contains a lot of mystery that I find really enticing. I wanna know all of it so bad.! so yeah, I am planning to read the next couple of books and I hope it'll be better than this one. :D...more
