the book is about again the sidhe, the ability of a human to see through faerie glamour. first thing i noticed about this book. I like the main character's name, Aislinn. the name is very unique, but my like for the main character just stops there, Aislinn is a kind of girl that is not capable of finishing her lines like for example, imagine this scenery with me.
(Aislinn knocks on Seth's door to confide about her date with Keenan)
*Knock,Knock* (Seth opens the door)
Seth: Ash, what's wrong? Aislinn: I... He... I can't... Last night... I don't know! *sobs*
see? gosh! she is like that when depression strikes and it is jst so frustrating! OMG! why can't she finish her lines? haha! OMG! but i guess i get to like Aislinn in the end ( JUst a bit) cause maybe she gets to be a little tough.
Moving on to the concept of the book, so another story about the Sidhe Seer eh?i have seen different faces of the Feys like there is the joyful kind, the kind that wants to torture humans, the erotic kind, the trickster and so on. well in this book what kind of faeries did i see? ahmm. i guess the EMO kind, cause i have to say that the book is written in a dark lyrical way, what I mean is the book has no trace of humor in it, not a moment in the book a broke a grin, it's just that faeries are really serious in this book, and it's really nice that Melissa Marr made a whole new impression of Feys in here the kind that maybe has a capability of feeling a certain emotion. and i did enjoy reading Donia's POV. i like how she is tormented with her iciness and that she is trapped, i feel sorry for her.
another love triangle blossoming in this book AGAIN! so which side i'm on? well I'm team seth, i like his piercings and sincerity, come on! he waited 7 months for Ash i give him credit for that and also maybe the medical test that he undergo to is maybe a bit funny but hmmm i find it sincere that he will do anything that so he can prove that he is clean. right? *grins* Keenan on the other hand is the intimidating kind, so not my type.
the ending of the book is just so confusing and i don't know what to expect next, as for Donia i can say that she deserved to be a Queen after all what she's been through.
this is an overall nice read, the reason i gave it a 3 stars is because of Ash's incomplete lines, but i like the faeries here, something new to moi. so will read the next book of the series --- INK EXCHANGE. (less)

My second John Green Novel.i don't know what's with John Green that every time i finished reading his novel, i am speechless and dumbfounded for a reason i can't point out, but i know in the back of my mind i enjoyed every single page of reading his book.
up until now i am still speechless,so i'm gonna make a brief review.
since i've read looking for Alaska First and then this one, and i can't help but compare their similarities like:
- having an impulsive, prankster, adventurous girl in the story (Alaska and Margo) *check* - "Boys will be Boys" conversation*check* - realistic teenage characters *check* - an unusual name for boys (Quentin and Miles) *check* - a road trip with friends with adventures on the side *check* - unrequited love *check* - humor, humor and a whole lot of humor *check* - a goody two shoes main character who somehow learned to take risks(Q and Miles) *check* - i laugh my head off while reading it and then all of a sudden my eyes are brawling from tears *check* - i gave them both 4 stars *check*
so what made this book so special or different from looking for Alaska???
well i learned in this book that people are not like a note written on a paper that can be easily be read or understood, sometimes people tend to see what they WANT to see. Q thinks he loves Margo cause she is this very Hot,awesome and pretty girl but throughout his journey of finding her, Margo's clues did not only lead to her but also finding out her true identity. i guess what the book is trying to convey to it's readers is that sometimes our view of a certain person will never be enough to really know what that person really is.
i know the plot of the story resembles a lot with looking for Alaska but that didn't stop me of loving this book. wee.. let's read more John Green Novels.. :)
"Margo was not a miracle. She was not an adventure. She was not a fine and precious thing. She was a girl."

Characters--- so there are two main characters in the book (Ky and Cassia)
Cassia-- Cassia is the main heroine of the story, so at first Cassia is a very neutral character in the story you neither love her nor hate her, while I'm reading the book there is not much recognition or any strong feelings that i have for cassia but she doesn't annoy me like normal heroine characters. But as i'm reading book i started to like her i really like her straight-forward decisions she is never in "dilemma mode" or "denial mode" she directly admitted to herself that she is in love with Ky and not with Xander no ifs and no buts. and i love her character progression she shows some kind of rebellion at the end of the story.
Ky- Ky is... he is like... hmmmmm... i find it funny that i can't find any adjective besides mysterious to describe Ky. so let me just compare him to a puzzle, a puzzle because he is just someone that you have to crack or decode enable to unravel what he truly is. Ky to me is a big question mark. you really, really, really have to look within him enable to decipher a word that he is saying. i never encountered a character that is so intriguing and mysterious yet you won't mock him or call him a freak or a weirdo and you can't help yourself not to like him and smile whenever you he has an appearance in the book. :">
* i actually love how Ky is very fond of "the arts" (read poems, writing, draw) i really love the way he draws on a napkin and not just any drawing but it actually represents his life... i find it very romantic.. <3
The concept of the book Matched is like "fixed marriage" when a boy or a girl turned 17, they'll be all called in a matching pool where everyone is paired to their most compatible partner, the reason for this matching is for the matched couple to produce healthy children and be productive in the society. The society also decide when they'll die, where they work, what they eat, what age they'll stop having a baby.
- Matched is very hunger games-like i mean it's like living in a world where everyone has control on you. but in this book even on who you choose to love is still the society's mission well i kinda find it wrong cause it's more of our right on who we choose to spend our life with (cheesy) LOLZ... and the "you'll be dead by 80" is somehow inhumane, like OMG!!! it's kinda too much that they'll be the one to decide when you'll die.. :(
- the way matched is written is kinda Prophecy of the Sisters-like it's like the words a carefully selected and each word is fragile, i actually imagine someone narrating it with a voice so soft and assuring.
i only gave the book 4 stars cause it's kinda missing something but i can't quite put a finger on it. i wanna read the next book... i wanna know where is Ky. and i'm really looking forward to the Cassia and Ky Love team ,Cassia's quest, the rebellion.. :D
OH MEN! this book is really awesome! another great post apocalyptic dystopia genre of book I have read.
this book actually remind me of The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness cause the writing style is pretty much the same. It was actually frustrating at first cause all of the characters in the book talks the same unlike in Patrick Ness's book some characters don't talk like Todd. their vocabulary is pretty much composed of this
git = get hafta= have to stummick=stomach ezzackly=exactly fer=for caint=cant
oh gosh! how frustrated i was while reading it. haa! all of them talk like that. The plot of the book is the one pretty much left me hanging on while reading it. The first part of the book is Engaging, filled with lots of action scenes on just the opening of the book and the book has its consistency cause the action just keep on piling up until the end. I have really no idea what to expect in a desert setting, i was thinking that maybe I'll expect a lot of sun and scorpions and stuff like that but i have never ever expect that this book will contain WORMS AND CAGE FIGHTING! DUh! i have never ever expected those elements to be present in this book.
The characters are a lot in this book, a lot of variety and many personalities that you'll meet, but Saba is just really something i can describe her as a bit too much. sure i like tough heroine but Saba is just too much. i can describe her as a bit insensitive and really ungrateful, she blames her little sister Emmi for the loss of their mom and to me that's a bit wrong. but eventually she gets to change and knows the importance of Family and not just her twin brother,Lugh.
ahhh! Favorite scene in the book is the very hot Kissing scene between Saba and Jack!!! gosh! one of the steamiest kissing scene ever. hahaha!
Blood red Road is an amazing read, it has action, drama and romance and also you get values when you finished reading it. so this book rightfully deserve a 5 star rating. :D

okay school is approaching and i will do anything that i can to spend my last day of vacation reading a book so i happen to randomly pick The body Finder in mobiles24.com and downloaded it to my phone...
and OMG!!!! i am so loving this book!!!! :))))))
reasons why i love the book
1.)Finally! Best friends having an intimate realtionship!
---my very first time to read a book wherein the main girl character gets to have a relationship with her best friend, you see in the books that i've read the main girl character always get to pick a dashing dude over her best friend and leaving her best friend alone and hurt.. well i've actually read a lot of this things and it's kinda sad so i guess this is a change of view to me...
2.)Me, being emotionally attached to the plot --- okay, i know what it's like when you have a childhood boy best friend and you didn't even notice the way he looks when ur kids you just like play and chat with him and your happy and after a couple of years -- BAM! you can't even recognize your friend he is somehow looks attractive and a little groupies of girls is swarming over him. so i somehow know how violet feels when jay suddenly change and he regrets not having to see it when their still kids..
3.) clean wholesome story ---i am thankful that the author didn't provide descriptive details on how the murderer kills his victims, im kinda sensitive to that thing because sometimes it gives me nightmares and also no sex involve in this book just some intense romance between Jay and Violet
4.) VIOLET AND JAY MOMENTS --- ayiii!!!!! this book got me randomly smiling and grinning like an idiot.. there is just a lot of sweet moments in this book and it will just make you GAGA! haha!
*** although i just dont like the ending, the ending is just flat and after reading it i was like "OKAAAAYYYYYY" I am somehow unsatisfied like there is not a cliff-hanger that will make you go "OMG I WANT BOOK 2 NOW!"
after a long deliberation of thoughts i finally decided to read it... i guess it will take weeks for me to finish it cause of school works... :((((((...moreafter a long deliberation of thoughts i finally decided to read it... i guess it will take weeks for me to finish it cause of school works... :((((((
Warning: this book is not for readers 15yrs old-below because of the very mature subject matter content of this book.
what comes to your mind when you hear the word forbidden love? most of us will say romeo and juliet, edward and bella, a fallen angel loving a mortal girl and so on...
well in this book you won't find a vampire loving a human , but a brother and sister who love each other more than friends and more than just siblings. kinda sick right??? it was october 2010 when i saw this e-book at mobiles24.com (most of my mobile ebooks come from this site) while i was brosing i saw this book and can't help but to fall in love with the cover so i searched on goodreads on what the book is all about, first thing that caught my eye is the average rating of the book its 4.46/ 5 stars .. i was like "WOW!!! this book must be super awesome to deserve such rating" but when i read the synopsis i kinda change my mind to read it because of the taboo subject of the book but on the back of my mind i was really curious on what will be the ending of the story i searched every website that i know just to get the plot summary of this book but unfortunately i ended up with nothing.. i only found reviews on how awesome the book is so maybe to get some peace of mind i decided to download it...
when reading the book i was really surprised on how good it is written i usually avoid romantic novels cause i kinda get bored while reading it sometimes i don't even finish them but this book is quite different... i actually ditch my notes, my homeworks just to spend all night reading this book...
when lochan and maya confess their love for each other i was like "hmmm... their relationship kinda wrong??" in every young adult book that i read i always look forward to the love confessing part and everytime that happens can't help but smile and i feel like their are butterflies in my stomach but in the case of lochan and maya i guess i was stone faced, the butterflies in my stomach seems like rocks floating. and i was like "wrong, wrong, wrong just stay like siblings." but as the story goes on you would think that lochan and maya shouldn't be siblings you would say that they are soul mates, partners in crime , best friends, a mom and dad to Willa, Tiffin and Kit.
i have to say that each page is heart clenching there are some parts of the book when i have to stop not because i hate the story but because i'm so sad of their situation imagine you found your love of your life, but you can't even touch, kiss and say "I love you" in public. i feel like crying whenever lochan and maya try and suppress their feelings for each other, can't they just love each other and be happy??? but on the back of my mind i know the answer is a big fat NO! cause i know even though they love each other sooooo much their love is still wrong.
the ending would have to be the most powerful part of the book i feel like crying , i feel like throwing something and scream!
to everyone who is open minded enough to accept this kind of subject this book is for you,.

(haha) so reading dark divine was something new for me. REASONS WHY
1. a very very very wholesome book- the book is mainly about Grace Divine she is the daughter of the Pastor in their town so she is this ms.perfect she's not the kind of girl that breaks some rules, don't make out with just some boys. even her romance with Daniel is just so darn wholesome. and also her family is very involve in charity works and their very religious.
2. werewolves,Urbat, hounds of heaven,(blah,blah)- this book is about werewolves so everything that's been said about them are completely foreign to me, except for they can be killed with silver and a werewolf bite can make you become a werewolf too.
3. the heroine isn't drawn to the hero- in this book we don't get love at first sight more like childhood lovers
-----Dark divine did'nt give so much of a climax but i love how it is written, maybe the second book will be better because this time the Girl gets to be the "SUPERNATURAL" not the guy and maybe some more bad-ass action in the second book coz Grace is finding out on how to control her abilities.
** this book would have to be my headstart to know more about werewolves and i'm looking forward for more werewolf - related books. :)(less)
since the book is divided into three parts (the spark, the quell, the enemy) I'm gonna do a review on each of part of the book
*Pa...moresince the book is divided into three parts (the spark, the quell, the enemy) I'm gonna do a review on each of part of the book
*Part 1: the spark
- in this part of the book it's pretty much where book one has left off. Katniss and Peeta being victors of the hunger games meaning they are living a good life . But president snow is pissed of the act Katniss pulled in the arena (eating the nightlock berries) so pres. snow wants Katniss to show everyone in Panem that eating the berries is not some act of defying the capitol but she has done that cause of her undying love for peeta.
Ok so thoughts on part 1
*since part 1 is title is "the spark" so i was thinking "can Katniss actually realize that she feels the same way as Peeta?" but instead on part one Katniss chose Gale over Peeta *slaps forehead* i'm like "come on katniss!!! really?? are you serious??? are sure about that? i don't really like Gale cause i just don't feel him that well on book 1. i know he is a diligent son, feeding his family and everything but that's it! i don't get much of who he really is...
* part one of the book is pretty exciting cause we get a taste of what the plot will be (an uprising)
* katniss is kinda confuse on part 1 , so ok she chose Gale over peeta *grunts* but she doesn't know if what she's feeling is real like when she kissed gale she doesn't know if that kiss meant anything. I think katniss is confuse cause she loves her family more than her love for the two boys.
part 2: the quell
when part 1 just ended my mouth is just hanging open! in my mind i was thinking "Dammit president Snow!! are you effing kidding me??? are you freaking serious? what? ur making the past victors contestants again? you... you... you s^&*!,^&*@#(#^# *inhales* *exhales* *regaining self-composure*
in part 1 i just slapped my forehead but in part 2 i just wanna hit my forehead on a wall! (but that would hurt a lot so i just stick on slapping my forehead.. HAHA!) on part 2 i just feel anger, depression and fury!
*i'm angry at president snow! *i'm angry at the peacekeepers who hit cinna on the head! *sobs* *im angry that katniss and peeta will have to go through this over again! :(
but my fave Katniss and peeta moment is in this part of the book: peeta and katniss on the rooftop having Picnic katniss lays down on peeta's lap while she's doing some crown of flowers and then peeta said "i wish this will last forever" katniss replied "ok" then they watch the sunset together! (awwww!!!)
part 3: the enemy
uhmmm.. in this part of the book got me going really crazy! many emotions are steering inside me. i don't know whether to laugh, cry,be angry,be depressed,be scared...
i have never felt this emotional over a book... i really wanna cry when *peeta is telling katniss that she needs to live cause no one will need him back at district 12,*peeta giving a pearl to katniss *sobs* T.T
and then the ending!!! the ending is a major cliff hanger! *grunts*
i wanna read mockingjay so bad! cause i want some answers to my question
like 1.is peeta alive? 2. is district 12 really gone? 3. will katniss have a change of heart? (choose peeta, katniss!!!)
but mockingjay is out on hardcover... i don't buy hardcover books cause they're pretty pricey. i certainly don't wanna read it on an e-book format.. (huhu) i need to save up some money or maybe wait for MJ to be available on paperback (but i don't think i can wait that long! HUHU)
first things first i want the book to be named the boys of blue bloods:get to know them better haha! this book is a companion to the blue bloods saga...morefirst things first i want the book to be named the boys of blue bloods:get to know them better haha! this book is a companion to the blue bloods saga. it gives additional information about the characters of the book but what i appreciated the most of this book, is the author provided some short chapter about the perspetive of the 3 boys Jack(insert high loud squeal), Dylan and Kingsley
i did enjoy reading Jack's perspective *dreamy eyes* it's titled the lie that concealed the truth Or "the last meeting"
its a companion to revelations. it details schuyler and Jack's final encounter from jack's perspective. (i really empathize with jack in this short story ) dammit Sky! why do you have to broke Jack's Heart? X(
i must say i am proud of ms.melissa dela cruz! she is a fiipino author but she is well known internationally for her literary works. :)i'm really excited on how will the book end but i know it will be an EPIC ENDING!
and also in this book you will get to read the first chapter of Wolf Pact (bliss quest on finding the hounds of hell)
part of me is happy that i've read this book companion but another part of me is sad because it made me yearn more for Bloody Valentine.. i really want the copy of that book so BAD! *i'm effin going crazy*

In a group of friends there is always a DUFF or the "ugly duckling" the one compared to her friends she is very unattractive, she doesn't have a sexy body and not a lot of boys is chasing her. Bianca Piper is the duff in her small group of friends a name given to her by the school's biggest womanizer Wesley Rush, Bianca hates Wesley but one night she kissed Wesley to numb her pain and forget about her problems at first that kiss was just an escape, but that kiss became so much more...
*i'm actually happy that Me and the main character have the same perception about boys and love you see she hates boys and thinks that love is a deep word that takes years and years to develop,. while me, I'm just crushing on male celebrities but I'm not actually falling head over heels to the School's heartthrob, i pretty much don't care about them. and i usually ignore them.. LOL
* maybe i was a bit shocked about Bianca's action so she could forget about her pain and problems. I mean do you have to kiss and sleep with some guy so you can forget about your problem? not just once but soooooooooo many countless times... and yeah it's kinda bitchy, slutty and dirty.
why 5 stars?
5 stars because...
-i actually like the story there's a valuable lesson that you will get when ur done reading the book and the book pretty much talks about normal teenage problems like heart breaks, family break-ups, trying to fit in, dealing with teen angst and peer pressure.
- the love team is quite different sure you already hear of Ugly duckling + dashing dude = WEEE!!! TYPICAL LOVETEAM . but in this book you'll get BITCHY UGLY DUCKLING + MAN-WHORE DASHING DUDE= a not so typical loveteam
- Escape is impossible so why not embrace it? ____ a very good quote to live by.. :)
In the book Duff is Designated Ugly Fat Friend, you'll get the impression that they are an outcast, pathetic, horrible and monstrous, but in reality each and every one of us is a DUFF none of us is perfect and all has insecurities of their own... So yeah.. I'm also a DUFF. :D (less)
