We are intorduced with Blaire, a girl who lost everything. She lost her mom and sister and she has to move in with her dad that she barely knew cause he left them.
This book is such a roller coaster of emotions. But mostly it was all about the pain and the agony. Blaire's life is so sad. She experienced a lot of pain for such an early age. She's been through a lot, I can't imagine a life she had. Just when she thought she is happy. Everything was taken away from her. I can't... I just can't I feel so sad while reading the book it is so depressing...
The plot of the book, is nothing that I've read before. It has this twist at the end that I have never expected. I was supposed to be surprised. But I wasn't, it just added up the pain that I have experienced while reading it. The Romance aspect of the book is so intense! The love scenes here made it intensified due to such raw emotions in the book.
Rush's character, is really dark and creepy. I was expecting a very swoon worthy character, but he just gave me the creeps. Just Look at his dialogues :
"are you sore?" "I'm Fine" "Do you feel stretched? Can you tell I've been inside you" "good. I like knowing you can feel where I've been,"
"Mine. This is Mine." "Mine. This sweet pussy is mine, Blaire." "Tell me it's mine"
I thought he is just disturbed, and he has a mental condition, that's why he is acting like that, But NO! I am kinda disturbed with his actions and dialogues. He is way way too pervy for me. I know he likes Blaire. But this... This is too much.
The ending is like a slap in the face... It is so freaking SAD! Why did it have to end like that. HUHUHUHUHUHHU!!! I can't. The emotional turmoil is getting in to me... Please let the other books be happy and let Blaire have her happy ending. HUHUHU...

I highly recommend this book to everyone who's in to romance and chick lit. It is that good. This is my second favorite belonging to the Romance Genre. Anna and the French Kiss is still Queen though. :)
We are introduced with the main character whose name is Drew Evans. The book is narrated by him. He is this douchebag, womanizer ,egotistical, self absurd and likes to have sex all the time kind of guy. But reading this man's thought is such a joy. I was laughing all the time with his dialogues and thoughts. He is so damn funny, I want more of him in every single page. His metaphorical views and comparison to things are simply informative, and made you empathize with him. I cannot believe that this is written by Emma Chase? seriously? She delivered this narration in such a very flawless way coming from a Point of view of a guy, considering she is a woman?
The love story build up is so fresh and dynamic for a thin paged book it was so descriptive and narrative that made me feel so satisfied from beginning to finish. for a smutty book I did not expect it to be this light and made you experience falling in love and have butterflies in your stomach. It was soooo good. I always compare reading a good romance book as eating a chocolate, well in this one it is like eating your most sinful comfort food and you don't hold anything back. you just eat eat and eat... ( Oh Drew, Drew, Look what you've done to me)
This is such a feel good book, Just don't mind the smutty scenes. This book is such a joy. That I want all the characters to have their own book From "The Bitch" up to Mackenzie. Yeah! That Good. If this book is a person. I will marry it. T'was my favorite read this 2014. I will definitely give the other Three books a go!

I thought I have heard every internet slang there is but never have I encountered the word TWITTERCIDE! oh my! the main reason I've grabbed and read this book is because of the interesting summary and it mentioned the word twittercide? HAH! and I just really adore Hartly... reading her thoughts just made me laugh up until the last page of the book!! Yeah! that's how adorable she is.!
I wonder what would be the next book like, I hope it will be more excititng than this one, and I am looking for the blossoming Romance between Chase and Hartley... YAY! seems like I've found a replacement for Hex Hall , I know they have the different genre but it seems like Deadly cool contains the fun and quirkiness present in Hex Hall. :) ...more

I am not the biggest fan of the first book,Unerathly. just gave the first book a 3 star rating, cause I didn't exactly enjoyed it as much as the others, and i was not planning to read this one, besides from the fact that netgalley denied my request to read an advance copy of the book, (yeah, I was so sad that they denied my request) haha! I guess the first book didn't give me enough excitement to read this one. But since I am out of books to read I decided to go for this one.
what to say? what to say?
I say that this one is a big improvement, we all know that Clara has an unknown purpose right? I mean her purpose is not certain on what it is about, well in this book this kinda somehow answered that question, and I was really pleased on how this book was written , I mean I really feel like every sentence and words spoken by the chracters are really hmmm.. Magical? woah! i really don't know how to describe the words used in this book but it has somehow gave me this feeling that I am living in world full of magic and wonders.
I like how the secrets were unraveled in this book, OMG! it's like Cynthia Hand just gave me a poundful of chocolate and shove it right in my mouth! oh yes! that's how good this book is, and I guess I appreciate the characters in this book, lots of new and intriguing additional characters were introduced here.
as for the romance part. HELL i don't care to which boy Clara will end up with! both guys are really HOT and worth of Clara's heart! KYAAA! and besides i am not after the romance in this book, I am after the angel stuff and unraveling more mysteries on who Clara is and what is her real purpose.
OH my! reading this one is such a remarkable experience. looking forward for the next book and I know It'll be a thousand times better than this one. :D ...more

This would have to be my first Love Story Book I have read for 2012. This one kinda disappoint me, cause I was actually expecting this book to really answer the Question that's been intriguing me like
"can Love at first sight actually does exists?"
turns out the book didn't even give me even a slightest hint if such thing/phenomenon does exist.
the book is like Anna and the French Kiss, I mean the story line has the same flow, so I was expecting that It'll be as good as the book, but as it turns out, it was great in the first couple of pages, really gives me this giddy factor, but as I read on it turns out that the book is like really too good to be true, like the events stated in the book is not really possible to happen in real life, I know this is a fiction book, but some books that I've read at least contain a bit of realism to them, but this one is just, well. Too impossible to occur in any Human living on this planet.
I gave it 3 stars cause the first couple of pages is good, and there was a sense of unpredictability in the plot, but as everything goes on, everything just gets crappy and I didn't like it.
after reading this my judgement of the probability of love at first sight would probably be like Zero to none percent that it would happen in real life. meh. :|...more
WOW! I really can't believe I have read the 10th book of the PLL series, as all of you have known I am not a huge fanAlso Posted @ The YA Bookworm
WOW! I really can't believe I have read the 10th book of the PLL series, as all of you have known I am not a huge fan of the Previous book, (twisted) i just feel that the 4 girls of Rosewood is as annoying as will ever be. But yeah, I really can't resist reading PLL cause it is one of my fave mystery/chick lit book, i just wish that Sara Shepard just ended the series @ Heartless *Sighs*
anyways. what to say about the book, I would really like to point out that it is really nice that Ezra Fitz was back in this book, besides from I love the chemistry between Ian Harding and Lucy Hale in the TV series, I happen to like them first on the book, so I was I really thrilled that Aria X Ezra is back. But if you have read some book of the PLL series this one still contains the same element like having bitch fights , non-stop hook ups and of course the never oh-so undead A is still lingering in this book, (Sheesh she is so darn indestructible!) but I have to say that this one is better than the first cause I guess some characters have really grown up, but they still have the inner Ruthlessness to themselves, I mean these girls will just do about ANYTHING just to get away their misbehavior.
In a way I did enjoy reading this one, although it took me like 4 days to finish it, i still like the mystery in the book I really don't know who A is now, GOSH! i really have to come up with my own theory sooner or later. >:) I'm still looking forward for the next books to come. :D
wew! my first book review after a very very long time. tehee..
I really love Hex Hall y'all know that right? i mean it's really rare for me to like awew! my first book review after a very very long time. tehee..
I really love Hex Hall y'all know that right? i mean it's really rare for me to like a heroine in the book, and Sophie is just the ideal main heroine for me and the two past books (Hex Hall and Demonglass) really pleased me. I promise you the two books were both light and humorous yet it is gripping.
but as for this 3rd book, i was actually looking forward for it. cause for those of you that have read the second book, the ending didn't actually make me satisfied cause as for me it is like the mother of all cliff hangers, i was formulating theories of my own on what would this book be like, and I was waiting, waiting. and time seem to run so fast in my life cause my busy activities at school and VIOLA! the book was out! and i was really really happy that i get to read this one. but that happiness was cut short cause the book didn't lived up to my expectations on this book, cause i think the whole book has gotten... hmmm. DARK? well Hex Hall series is known for its light and humorous content and I was just left unsatisfied in this series. of course the Ms.Mercer's snarkiness is still there but other than that the humor was just left with sophie's remarks.
i guess I was just sad that someone has to die, and that someone happens to be the most kind hearted person in the book, it was just sad. I was left with the idea that Cal has to die so that there won't be a love triangle in the book, and so that sophie won't get to choose.
but anyways i still love the series this third book just didn't do much for me to like it. if there is going to be a 4th book I'll sure read it. ...more

My mind is just making up some story of how will the second book will be like.
the book is really great! it still contains some of it's quirkiness and cuteness. it just occurred to me that Sophie Mercer is like the female version of Jace Wayland. Sophie is just such a relate-able character, the way she handles all of her pressures on her life and still get to come up some joke about it is really nice.
The plot is still like the previous one, it gets to contain action, magic, mystery and of COURSE the never ending love, it never really occurred to me that Cal will be included in the picture regarding Sophie's love life. It's really nice to see Sophie gets to have a sort of father-daughter bonding, I am really intrigued on what's up with Sophie's parents... I mean why did they broke up if they really love each other. Reading this book is like a mixture of reading The Mortal Instruments and like having a bit of dash of Iron Fey, the birthday party for Sophie reminds me of the scene in Iron Daughter, the part where they have to go to the prom, or maybe it's just because they have been styled up by the same faerie,Leanansidhe. teehee.
as i have said i wasn't much paying attention of the romance part of the book cause the book would have stand on its own without formulating some love interest, and i was a bit pissed when Archer revealed that he uses Elodie and Sophie, (way to go Archer! you D**k!) but when Archer said:
" The thing with us is the only real thing I've had in a long time. You're the only real thing"
fine Archer! you are forgiven! LOL... oh well i have to admit that Archer and Sophie has Chemistry, I really like it, that instead the two of them exchange sweet lines, the make sarcastic yet sweet lines with each other. :))
the ending was like... was like... OH GOD! i really don't know what to come up with the ending my face is scrunched up with agony, fury, confusion and madness while I was witnessing that dreadful ending scene... i mean, did everyone just... just... oh i can't say it! owwww i really really wanna read the next book sooooo bad! ...more
I was actually a bit skeptical of reading this book, cause first of all i have read two booksOriginally posted @ The YA Bookworm
Rating 4.5 stars
I was actually a bit skeptical of reading this book, cause first of all i have read two books with the same concept (Paranormalcy and The Darkest Powers) and I am not a huge fan of the both series, cause everything about those two books are very cheezy and ver chick lit-ish just thinking of Evie makes my eyes roll (haha!)i was actually expecting the same from this book, some maybe majority or maybe all of my friends on Goodreads have read this book and they seem to like it so much, i decided to give this one a try.
first off... the prologue is a "love spell" gone wrong. Even though this is a chic-lit book that first part of the book is kinda creepy it again reminds me of the movie Carrie. It's creepy and funny at the same time. and that prologue is entirely enough for me to get hooked reading this book.
While I am reading this book i have a few grins here and there, i really can't help it! Sophie is just one lovable character! she gives like a lot of snarky and sarcastic comments all the time, and she is the main reason that this whole book is enjoyable. I admire her personality cause she's really honest like how she admittedly confess that she has a crush on the hottest boy in the school, and how she just admitted that she is actually attracted to him cause maybe of his physical looks and his personality. See that? It is great if the main character in the book just admits that the he/she is attracted to someone directly, rather than fancy them and have delusional day dreams about them. LOL.
since i am laughing and grinning at this book, i was thinking that maybe this book will just give me laughs but not actually give me a whole main concrete plot, well it turns out it has a concrete plot. It has never crossed in my mind that this book will contain such a shocker, (oohhh i really wanna spill some details but it will just spoil your reading *zips mouth*) the concept of the book is original, kinda reminds me of Harry Potter but this one is quite different cause well Hecate Academy doesn't just cater witches and warlock but also other creatures as well. so there is actually a variety of powers and a bunch of different personality that you will encounter while reading this one, the whole book is written in a light manner that you will get this refreshing giddy feeling while reading it. I give credit also for having a Gay character in the book.
Overall: a really enjoyable read, every aspect in the book is in balance there is a little bit of this and that. some of the YA novels that I've read, i actually make the romance aspect of the book the redeeming factor, but in this book it is actually would be fine if there is no romance present, although i really like Sophie and Archer together. The romance is just an accessory in the book that made it even more awesome.
I don't know if I'll read Demonglass soon. they keep on saying that it contains a cliff hanger ending, and the 3rd book won't be out any soon. *sighs*...more
I have never read any classic novels in my life, my closest encounter to classic novels is when i watched them onOriginally posted @ The YA Bookworm
I have never read any classic novels in my life, my closest encounter to classic novels is when i watched them on the big screen, so I decided to pick this one up cause as said by the synopsis it is mash up of The Portrait of Dorian Gray (I have watched the movie and OMG BEN BARNES IS DORIAN GRAY! *Sighs*) , Pride and Prejudice and Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde, so i decided to give this one a try just to maybe have an idea on what's it's like having to read a classic novel, just maybe get a glimpse on what the story is like and still get comfy while reading it cause it is set in a genre for Young Adults.
We are introduced to a classic setting, In New York during the 1800's we are also introduced to a female lead character, Natalie Stewart. Natalie is actually mute i was a bit stunned, cause it is my first time to read a book that has a main character that has disability i never know what to expect from Natalie. Would she be any different from the other characters from some of the YA novels that I have read? well it turns out that she isn't any different and i daresay she is one special gal cause i really like her straight forward determination and she is a strong girl she doesn't let her disability interfere with her life, so in other words i really admire her character. I really like the scene wherein she got pissed in one of Maggie's friends and she wrote on her notepad: I maybe mute, but I am certainly not dumb"
The writing is pretty decent you would really get this feeling that you are in a 1800's era, very classic indeed. the book is actually written in a journal kind of way from Natalie's Point of View.
The plot is good, lots of magic swirling from here and mystery is also present and i have to say even though the idea was adapted from some of the classic novels mentioned above, the story for me was somehow original. The romance aspect of the book is nice filled with sweet dialogues between Natalie and Jonothan, and my oh my i never thought people in the 1800's can be somehow bold and feisty, i have this idea in my head that men in 1800's are somehow chivalrous. (ohhh Lord Denbury! you are on naughty gentleman) LOL.
i gave the book 3 stars cause the ending is kinda flat, kinda fell short for my taste and to think that this book is a series, i have no idea what will the next book will be like, cause as far as i can say Natalie and Lord Denbury found their happily ever after. but nevertheless i enjoyed reading this book, *coughs* i devour reading this book is just i don't know 8 hours?? haha! kinda wish that the ending was different. ...more

Me encanta los Hermanos Fuentes!
OH GOD! this book is sooo UNFORGETTABLE! i Love the Perfect Chemistry series but never i felt this IN LOVE while reading Chain Reaction!
we get to meet the youngest among the Fuentes brothers, Luis. My initial expectation for Luis is that he is this nerdy boy who doesn't know how to have fun. but i was taken aback when my expectations gone wrong cause you see, Luis is the kind of guy who likes to have fun he is an "Adrenaline Junkie" and i have never ever laugh this hard over a Fuentes. Sure Carlos is funny but man! Luis is just so darn hilarious! not just having funny dialogues but also having to do such stupid acts that made me laugh so hard... oh man! Luis is my favorite among the Fuentes Brothers. What more to ask? he is smart and funny! gosh! *drool*
Nikki Cruz is just a "WOW!" character, she is first this scared girl cause of her broken relationship, but as time moves on she became fearless, and well she eventually became a man hater, she became BITTER, but i really liked Nikki's character I understand her, I know it is not entirely her fault on why she has to act that way, is just some guy made her like that. Tsk! so all you guys out there! treat a girl nicely! you'll never know what she'll become once you rapture her heart!
since this is Perfect Chemistry we expect a love story right? but this is quite different than the 2 previous books, cause the romance is quite different Nikki and Luis eventually started first as having "A no Strings attached relationship" cause Luis is eventually a player and Nikki is scared to get serious due to her tainted past love life , and this one contains a lot o steamy scenes. *blushes*
what I appreciate most about this book is that it made a bit of cameo appearances form Carlos and Alex and the book eventually tells on what happens to Carlos and Alex on their love life... awww! You have no idea on how much I squealed and grinned on Alex's and Brittany's wedding! OMG! i like Alex, but seeing him as a family man in Chain Reaction just made me melt! oh gosh! seeing him so in love with his wife Brittany, like they just have each other for the first time! and man! that proposal from Carlos to Kiara! ahh! (FANGIRL SERVICE NEEDED HERE!)
I give a two thumbs up for Mrs.Patterson! she is one hell of a chemistry teacher, would you think I'm really weird if i just wish Ms.Simone Elkeles made a book out of her character? just maybe get to know what her past life is like? get a glimpse on how she was when she's a teenager? haha!
GOSH this series has come to an end the epilogue is really touching! it's really nice to see all the characters have grown and get to have their own kids. *SNIFFS* I want lots and lots of books from Simone Elkeles! ooohhhh!! I love the Fuentes Brothers!!! how I wish there is another young Fuentes.... ahhhhh!! haha! i love this book so much! I fangirled, i fell in love , i cried, i laugh and all kind of emotions was all present while I was reading it! (just judging from the review, you can pretty much make a mental picture on how i was while reading it) haha!

Beautiful Disaster? what can I say about this book? hmmm... this book actually reminds me of the Book Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles the flow of the story is pretty much the same. Bad boy (who has straight A's btw) meets smart and good hearted girl.. eventually both collide and fell in love with each other ,thus forming a Beautiful Disaster.
so... pretty much perfect Chemistry-ish right? but i guess the only difference is that this book is much hotter and steamier than the latter.
this book is actually very long, i feel like i am watching a two hour movie with repeated story line over and over. the first part of the book was good you get this giddy feeling every time you read it, cause for me it's really nice to see Travis break in to his shell from bad boy player to a vulnerable guy cause he is falling in love with her best friend, Abby. Those parts of the book were great. i actually skip meals, lost precious sleeping hours just to know how will the story of the two lovers will be.
2nd part i guess the part where they went to Vegas, i kinda lost my interest in the book cause everything is just so redundant they make love, they fight, they break, they kiss. (so on... blah.blah.) i was so infuriated with the flow of the story, i mean they love each other and everything, so why suppress it? duh. i feel like grabbing Abby out of the book and shake her shoulders and tell her "Come on Girl!!! you are making this soooo hard for everyone!" LOL...
so why 4 stars?
at the end of the book i have this realization that love conquers all.. (cheesy, I KNOW!!!) and maybe even though the book is long and some parts were boring, i like it that the author made a believable love story. She showed how an individual can go crazy, change for the person that he/she loves. and how also a certain person can found or lost their love. so yeah this book is filled with cheesiness and sugar coated with even more sugar lines and scenes, and i guess those are the elements that can make a reader like me, go crazy. (Geez is this a cheesy review or what?) LOL
if it weren't for the consistency of the plot i would have given it a 5 star rating. cause what happened is that the first part was very climatic while the 2nd part was a downer, so therefore 4 stars is my rating for this book.
erm.. IDK what's with the book cover, i have no clue why is that the cover.. meh.

When i was reading this book, i feel like I am watching Ugly Betty and Nodame Cantabile... we get to meet Beth who is known to her classmates as the "Beast" cause of what she looks like, but even though she is ugly she has a wonderful voice. and along her choir competition she met a guy, a guy she truly loved and they share the same passion for music but when she returned home she realized that her best friend Scott, who has been with her along the way loves her also.
at first i think the description given to Beth was a bit too exaggerated i can't imagine someone looking so horrible, she even made kids cry and i can't imagine someone being called a "beast" oh trust me i know what it's like to be bullied, but what has Beth gone through is a bit too much? i guess i can say that she is Bullied very severely .
the plot of the story is your very usual ugly duckling turned into a beautiful swan, but that didn't made the story your typical fairy tale, cause there is something behind the book title, the story is actually heart breaking. i never guessed that it would end like that, and also i never would have guess what is up with Derek.
Overall: a so-so book, i'm not actually a big fan of romance it will take a lot of drama for me to be moved by a certain romance novel, so this one is a nice quick read, not my cup of tea but this one left me really refreshed and i feel like smiling to the whole world when i was done reading ...more

the book cover of Paranormalcy gave me an Impression that this book is gonna be Dark and Mysterious and it will introduce me to a kick-ass heroine, but if you ask me, i can describe Paranormalcy in one word PINK!!!! what i am trying to say is that i find the book very childish and very chick-lit-ish (here I am again).
Evie is the kind of character, that hmmm.. I don't know, while reading her POV i sometimes feel annoyed with her actions, sometimes i feel sorry for her cause she is deprived to all the great things that a normal teenager should have, sometimes i think she is flirting too much, so yeah. hmmm. I'm still undecided about Evie.the only character i like is *gasp* Reth!! gosh! i have a thing for bad boys! haha! (you can warm me up anytime Reth darling) haha!!!! XD
the concept of the book is pretty good, the first couple of pages reminded me of the movie hellboy cause of the paranormal headquarters and the mash up of the paranormals in it, and all the gadgets used for tracking the paranormals. but as i read the book i was pretty pissed cause the athour just made the plot revolve around unanswered questions and a lot of hooking up and fire girl, so basically i don't get the essence of the whole book. I don't know what is the MAIN PLOT of the book. (aww. sorry!!! i really, really feel soooooooo bad for not liking this book)
the next book has a really nice book cover so i have high hopes that it will be better than the first one. *sighs* ...more

i really don't know what to expect from the book , i have this feeling that it was going to be about a loner boy who has no friends and has a miserable life cause the book won't be titled as "Perks of being a Wallflower" if it isn't about that. so the first couple of pages is like a letter from a guy named Charlie, and at the beginning he always write the words "Dear Friend" so the book is like filled with Journal entries from Charlie and it is the compiled events of his life. The first couple of pages of the book i was actually dead bored i have been contemplating with myself if I should stop and just skip reading this particular book, but as it turns out i did manage to finish it, and i was really shock with it's content cause it actually contains some Taboo stuff that i never thought that will be the subject or will be discussed in this book. like many sex scenes, using pot and smoking, abortion, and third sex relationship. in a way the book is an eye opener for teens cause maybe by this book you will be able to face the reality, like how much we avoid this kind of subject it's always happening around you.
The characters were always nice , I appreciate it that the author gets to have a variety of characters, and i guess every reader gets to empathize with each of them, cause they all posses this distinct personality and also have this problems that each of every normal teen faces everyday. as for the main character,Charlie. I can describe him as a very observant boy, who just looks at things and be able to analyze and read his friends or people around him (I guess that's why the book is called Perks of being a Wallflower) and due to being observant and empathizing with his peers he gets to be this kind of friend that lies just so he gets to please his friends and make them happy. in a way i can relate to charlie the most not just because he is the main character of the story but because of his personality, I guess I am like him in a way that I treat my friends and the way I think about them.
Overall: a very inspiring book, I gave it three stars cause i was like bored in the couple of pages, i do recommend it for ages 16 and up. must be really open minded enable to appreciate this book. :D...more

If you will ask me, I am not actually that risky I am not that good with guys either so i might as well mess things up and blow my cover the second i step in their private domain.
But in this book we get to meet a very risky gal named Natalie, who would risk it all just to know how guys think and she gets to cross dress and pretend as a guy in a boy's school just to get to write a decent arcticle for her column, to whole thing sounds very familiar right? the book is exactly the same replica of the movie She's the man starring Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum.
at first i was a bit skeptical that the book won't be that exactly the same as the movie, but it turns out that it is, let me tell you the resemblance
1. cross dresser girl
2.girl get to fall in love with the roommate
3. bitchy gal who will blow her cover.
see?? while reading this I can't help but compare it to the movie she's the man , but i did enjoy reading this one, some parts were funny and some parts was just plain ole boring, this book has it's moments wherein i get to be excited to know what will happened but most of the time i get this feeling that i was in this state wherein i was really bored and I'll go like "OH MAN!! Nothing's new here!"
Babe in boyland is something you can read in just one sitting, cause everything is just so light and fluffy in the book, a very light read this book was, but i was just not that in to it, i do recommend it for girls, since it's a chcick lit book, and also a huge hard core fan of she's the man and Hanna Kimi... :D

Stephenie Perkins delivered another one good romance novel. as all of you have known i am just so in love with her first book Anna and the French Kiss and i can't really help myself from gushing and blushing and grinning every time i remember Anna and Ettiene's story and as I've said i really wanted a continuation from their story, i really want a sequel from their love story, so yeah looks like i got my wish, (sort of)
Lola and the boy next door is not actually the sequel of the first book but in some scenes in the book St.Clair and Anna made an appearance in the book and we get to see how their relationship was after we witness their love story in the first book (well that's not so bad eh?)
let's proceed with the actual review... *sighs* i really don't know what to say from this book, it is just simply awesome :"> i can say that from start to finish this book will make you giddy and wishing you have the same love story as Lola and Cricket.
what I really appreciate about this book is that Stephenie Perkins never fails to deliver such unusual and lovable characters, we get to meet Dolores Nolan who has this way of wearing her clothes in an unusual way, her dress style is just too much. she has a boyfriend that is several years older than her, and she gets to be confused with how she feels with her boyfriend when her Childhood love moves in next door. At first i really think Lola is the kinda girl that is very selfish cause she wants to have to loves (Cricket and Max) and she can't really decide which she should choose but as the story goes on you really can't blame her cause even if i were on her situation i would really feel the same way, and for me she really did try her best to maybe be contented on what she has and just let go of her bitter past with Cricket.
another awesome character introduced here is Cricket! gosh! he is just everyone's dream boy. I find her a bit weird cause he likes inventing and stuff and he knows girly things like sewing and styling hair but i find him really fascinating (i really like weird guys BTW) hahaha! he actually reminds me of the boy in the movie Cloudy with a chance of meatballs with the hair and the way he invents things.
for me this book is like maybe retelling on how st.clair's handle his lovelife cause in the first book he had a girlfriend when he met Anna. maybe this book is like his POV in a way.
another thing i appreciate about this book is that it has it's own story... i guess this one is very original for me. call me hopeless romantic or anything but i find the whole book really nice although this story line of the book is nothing i have ever experienced. I feel like actually i am put in the shoes in the characters and maybe feel an emotional attachment to them also. and also the book doesn't focus only on the romantic stuff but also family bonds...
*sighs* ANOTHER AWESOME BOOK FROM STEPHENIE PERKINS... kyaaaa!!! hoping she'll make another book of the same genre. :D
And i hold my head high toward my big entrance, hand in hand with the boy who gave me the moon and the stars...more
