i really don't know what's gotten in to me on why i bought this book.. considering I've seen a lot of bad reviews about this book some says it's likei really don't know what's gotten in to me on why i bought this book.. considering I've seen a lot of bad reviews about this book some says it's like twilight, a very slow paced book and it feels like your reading from a girl's POV rather than a guy's POV
it turns out that those reviews were pretty much true
twilight/forbidden love- the book is about Lena and Ethan, Lena the new girl from Gatlin and all of a sudden Ethan has an unexplainable attraction to her but here's the catch they can't be together cause the guy is a mortal and the girl is a CASTER. meh! *boo-hoo* LOLZ BTW this is how I picture Ethan and Lena
slow paced/ a thick book-the book is thick and it's thick not in a good way but in a I-wanna-skip-some-chapters-way. I just feel like some parts are redundant like maybe 1/4 of the book talks about "lena is going dark" or like "lena is crazy! people in gatlin hates her"
POV of a boy- erm sometimes ethan gets to be a bit girly while reading his POV sometimes he is sloppy and mushy.. hehe but for me it's OK if he is like girly sometimes at least he is not that annoying. :)
why 3 stars
- i like the whole casters, dark magic thing in the book and like the whole family of casters which has different powers, i find them fascinating.
-the flashback love story of genievive and Ethan.
- the rich gothic history of Gatlin.
-the first few pages were gripping cause i was fascinated about the love story of GLD and ECW, and the book of moons, the locket, spells
-Amma and Macon are some of my favorite characters.
i dont know if i wanna read the next book cause this book didn't quite disappoint me but didnt quite impress either.. so hmmmm.. we'll see..
Seventeen moons, seventeen years, Eyes where Dark ot Light appears, Gold for yes and Green for no, Seventeen the last to know......more
this would have to be the fifth book of the blue bloods series.. again it is divided into perspective of 3 girls (Mimi,Schuyler,Deming Chen) the fifththis would have to be the fifth book of the blue bloods series.. again it is divided into perspective of 3 girls (Mimi,Schuyler,Deming Chen) the fifth installment of the book contains romance, A LOT of complications and a very rich gothic history...
a lot of things shocked me.. like for the first part (sky's Perspective) i didn't know that Sky is Jack's familiar!!!! OMG.. i know in the 4th book she gave jack some of her blood cause she is half human, half vamp. but i didn't know that they performed the Sacred Kiss but reading sky's perspective was enjoyable lot of very romantic moments and it's really good to see that she and Jack are helping each other out, they have each others back and fighting the bad guys together.. <3 (awwww)
in my mind this what Jack looks like..
come on! the blond hair, the green eyes the very god-like features Alex Pettyfer is my perfect Benjamin Force!
in the second part of the book it's about mimi's perspective , she is assigned as regent since Charles (Michael, Pure of heart ) is missing she is in charge of the whole coven, actually this book is Mimi's book it mostly talks about her yearning for Kingsley, her wrath for Jack (she really wants her dead) and her duty as Regent. well in this book it totally changed the way i look at Mimi she is not a spoiled little vampire, queen bee anymore she has become so much more than that, she became responsible for her actions and taking full responsibility of the whole coven. It's cool that she befriended Oliver and well... am I smelling a hint of romance between them? well if Kingsley won't be resurrected (i sure hope he does) Oliver and Mimi would make a cute couple.
the third part is about Deming Chen , I believe deming chen was introduced in the 2nd book? in the ball? i really don't remember. anyway deming chen is a new character introduced in the series i really love her power (seeing auras) her perspective for me is a page turner cause she is in charge of the whole case,. i am hoping to see more from her .
well the fifth book pretty much left me hanging! i am really excited to have a copy of the 6th book
i sure hope the bonding bet. sky and jack would go smoothly,. hoping jack won't have to burn and hoping Oliver would find a new love. im REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY EXCITED TO HAVE THIS BOOK TOO BAD IT'S OUT AFTER CHRISTMAS!!!
the book is divided into three parts each part is about the love stories of three Blue bloods characterI read this book in 2 hrs people!!! 2 hrs!! LOL
the book is divided into three parts each part is about the love stories of three Blue bloods character (Sky,Allegra,Oliver)
First Part : Just another night in suck city
this part is about how Oliver gets to cope up with the loss of his one and only love Schuyler Van Alen.
the first part of the book was so-so you'll definitely feels sorry for Ollie while reading this part good thing he gets to meet Freya Beauchamp who happens to be a witch who cares about Blue Bloods and she majorly helped Oliver to forget his love for schuyler.
I was thinking that maybe Freya can be Oliver's love interest in the following BB books.. :)
second part: there is always something there to remind me
the second part is about Allegra AKA "legs" and Bendix AKA "ben" love story.
in the BB books allegra was in a coma cause she wont feed in any human familiar besides bendix.. I am actually annoyed on Allegra's character cause she chose to be in a coma and risk everything cause of her love for a human.. but when i read their love story, my mind changed about her. and their love story is kinda cute... they get to tease each other a lot and we get to see in this part of the book the young Charles Force who happens to be very over protective to his bonded twin..
part three: ring of fire
OMG OMG!!!! i cant really describe the kind of emotion that I felt while reading this part of the book!!! WOW absolutely WOW!!!! I actually thought that bloody valentine would just be about sloppy romance stories but OMG! in this part of the book we get to see some heart-pounding action!!!! this part would have to be my favorite not just because Sky and jack get to be bonded but also the adrenalone rush that you will feel while reading it.. especially Chapter nine titled Abbadon's curse my heart just skipped a beat while reading that part.. :">
I know Jack and Sky are bonded and everything but it's not yet happily ever after for them.
hope jack won't get burned and hope he will outwit his twin sister Mimi, cause I am really going to be a mad woman if something happens to jack.. haha! LOL
I have to wait till October to have a copy of Book 6 of the blue bloods series Titled LOST IN TIME.
soooo excited to read this!!!! eeeppppp!!!! ...more
hmmmm.. i really wanna like the book but i can't, i just don't like the way Nora thinks i'm really annoyed reading her perspective the only reason i rhmmmm.. i really wanna like the book but i can't, i just don't like the way Nora thinks i'm really annoyed reading her perspective the only reason i read this is because i wanna know what kind of creature is Patch , what are his motives and i think he is super duper HOT.. :)
i'm a girl that's been always fascinated to vampires during the hype of the twilight saga i've been always TEAM EDWARD i never opened my heart for Jaci'm a girl that's been always fascinated to vampires during the hype of the twilight saga i've been always TEAM EDWARD i never opened my heart for Jacob Black (LOL) and all the books that i've read are all about vampires, my mom teases me that maybe one day i wake up having fangs. (haha) so reading dark divine was something new for me. REASONS WHY
1. a very very very wholesome book- the book is mainly about Grace Divine she is the daughter of the Pastor in their town so she is this ms.perfect she's not the kind of girl that breaks some rules, don't make out with just some boys. even her romance with Daniel is just so darn wholesome. and also her family is very involve in charity works and their very religious.
2. werewolves,Urbat, hounds of heaven,(blah,blah)- this book is about werewolves so everything that's been said about them are completely foreign to me, except for they can be killed with silver and a werewolf bite can make you become a werewolf too.
3. the heroine isn't drawn to the hero- in this book we don't get love at first sight more like childhood lovers
-----Dark divine did'nt give so much of a climax but i love how it is written, maybe the second book will be better because this time the Girl gets to be the "SUPERNATURAL" not the guy and maybe some more bad-ass action in the second book coz Grace is finding out on how to control her abilities.
** this book would have to be my headstart to know more about werewolves and i'm looking forward for more werewolf - related books. :)...more

This book is another book from Melissa dela Cruz this time it's about Adult Fantasy. So this time she wrote a book about 3 witches, The Beauchamp girls who posses different kinds of powers but they are forbidden to use their magic cause the witches council thinks that their magic causes harm to humans.
so any-who! this is another book from one of my favorite authors. i love the blue bloods series and i was also expecting this one to be as intriguing as the blue bloods series, and i just have a glimpse of Freya in Bloody Valentine, and she is such a nice girl..err witch to cure Ollie's broken heart.
this book is actually an adult book so it contains some graphic scenes and well this contains a lot of twist, cause Melissa dela Cruz combined Norse Mythology plus Witches in this book, the first couple of pages is filled with mystery and a lot of blabbering but the ending made the book so much better, Freya's love triangle is such a nice twist. i find myself so confuse on which brother should i root for, another thing i think i see in this book is it contains women empowerment, Ingrid,Freya and Joanna are such strong girls that posses different kinds of personalities, that i think everyone can relate to i think the beauchamp girls showed that event though your timid and shy (Ingrid) wild and snarky (freya) and a mother (Joanna) you can still be have some spunk and can stand on your own feet.
overall this is one good read, and i know that there are more twist on the upcoming books of the series, the mythology is really nice touch. and if you are a blue bloods fan, you should read this!!! OMG!!! Mimi made a small appearance on this book, and guess what? she is asking for a subvertio ritual!! hmmm... *won't spill the details* haha!!! GRAB the BOOK and read it!!! ...more
so ok! i was really excited to read this book. I mean the first book really like made a major impact on me, up until now I'm still crazy about the stoso ok! i was really excited to read this book. I mean the first book really like made a major impact on me, up until now I'm still crazy about the story so thank god book 2 didn't quite disappoint me. :)
desires of the dead, in this book we'll get to see a lot of violet and jay moments emphasize the word A LOT! the passion and romance between them is just like 10x more intense and it's cool that the author didn't made the book just not about violet and jay being this "perfect couple" so it kinda freaked me out when they had a fight and their relationship is on the edge of falling apart, sure it made me agitated while reading the book but I think the author made a really good twist to their relationship making you want to rad more but the crime/thriller/mystery part of the book didn't actually made me all hyped up in a way this reminds me of the book Wake.
i gave the book 4 stars cause the only thing that leveled up in this book is the romance we get to see only a little action in this book.
i can't believe i was so excited to read this book.. *sighs*
this book is about Donna Underwood she survived an elf attack, her hands were ruined so ani can't believe i was so excited to read this book.. *sighs*
this book is about Donna Underwood she survived an elf attack, her hands were ruined so an alchemist named MAKER made her this "iron hands."
ugh! this book reminds me of other books that i've read such as Iron Fey,Hush, hush Blue bloods
Xan reminds me of Jack Force Navin reminds me of Puck
this book is consists of 289 pages, so it's suppose to b a quick read right??? but no! every time i read this book i feel like i'm reading a 500 page book... everything is happening in such a slow pace i feel like i'm going to sleep while reading it. I didn't finish reading this book i was 56% done with my e-book.. gah. ...more
in the 3rd book of the iron fey series meghan and ash were exiled from nevernever cause of their forbidden love, so they'll try living in the mortal win the 3rd book of the iron fey series meghan and ash were exiled from nevernever cause of their forbidden love, so they'll try living in the mortal wold but it seems like the iron fey is still following Meghan Chase wherever she goes...So she must put a stop on the Iron Kingdom for good.
THINGS I LOVE:
* Meghan's Character Progression- Wow! i thought Meghan would just be as annoying as the two previous books. cause in the two previous books she just keeps on crying and crying. Crying cause Ash ignored her, Crying cause Ash is not destined to be with her (blah,Blah). but OMG! in this book she is really BAD-ASS!!! she realized that she is tired of being the protected so she seek the help from Ash and Puck enable to unleash the power that is inside her and yes she really proved herself as being the main heroine of the story, sure at times she can be kinda annoying but what she has done through the entire book you would really forget that she is annoying. It's my very first time to encounter a female protagonist with a very impressive character progression it's from annoying to Bad-ass unlike from other characters that really never got any improvement they stick from annoying to even more annoying.
*Ashallyn 'darkmyk Tallyn the not so icy-prince- so *ahem* in the two previous books we get to see ash as this indifferent, expressionless and icy prince so he is this Dimitri-like,Jack-like,Edward-like character in the book BUT in the iron queen we get to see more of Ash he really opens-up to meghan in this book so we get to see what he was like in his previous life, etc. and i think he is pretty like-able in this book. (but not enough for me to be converted to team ash :D)
* Everything happens so fast in this book- well in this book pretty much shifts from scenario to scenario it's like in this part you'll get romance and all of a sudden you'll get TADAAA! heart-pounding action and that's what i like about this book it's fast paced but still very well written and the beginning and the end was executed perfectly.
* PUCK WAS SHIRTLESS- OMG!!!!!!! i thought Puck won't be in this book!!! ahhhhh!!!! "puck was lying on an overhead branch, smirking at me. his shirt was off, showing a LEAN BRONZED CHEST and his read hair was all over the place" mmmmmmm.. very sexy... rawr.. haha! LOLZ
THINGS I HATE
*love complications, they are not yet over- i thought that meghan and ash really beat the odds of their forbidden love but no!!! there is another complication that aroused from their almost perfect realtionship.
*oh grim! are you really gone????
*i'm not sure if puck is really ok with meghan and ash relationship even though he is just smiling and everything i know inside he is hurt and that's just sad... (awww! i love you Puck) *sniff, sniff*
"i will always love you princess, I'll take whatever you can give me" -Puck
------ at first i was assuming to give this book maybe three or four stars cause the two previous book i just gave both of them 3 stars, but his book is really different from the first two.. this book is really great.!!! deserves a 5 star rating... there will be a new book out called IRON KNIGHT and this time it will be written through Prince Ash's perspective.. :D ...more
this is my 3rd angel book! but the first one i miraculously manage to finish! I mean i've read Hush, hush but i did not finish reading it cause Nora Grthis is my 3rd angel book! but the first one i miraculously manage to finish! I mean i've read Hush, hush but i did not finish reading it cause Nora Gray is getting on my nerves and I've read Fallen but I managed to read only the first chapter (not exaggerating) seriously, those two angel books are very hmmmm.. disappointing, i mean i love angels,(i was even named after one) lols. they are very fascinating creatures they are heavenly, beautiful, gentle. so i'm glad that Unearthly is not the same as the 2 other angel books that i've read.
Unearthly is about clara gardner she is part-angel. a quartarius to be exact, meaning she only has 1/4 angel blood, well each angel has a purpose like a person to save, so her mission is to locate who is she bound to save, where he/she is and when will her purpose will happen...
so basically unearthly's main concept is guardian angels i mean the author open the whole concept of angels having this mission on earth they have to do a certain job enable to? hmmm.. i actually don't know why they have this so called purpose, is it because they are the descendants of God? so the book didn't exactly provide a thorough info about that, this book has actually lots and lots of question and mystery left unsolved it left me confuse especially the last part everything is left hanging ,but what i appreciate about this book is the way angels describe like having this so called glory and the whole white wing and black wing concept and the way the angels are described are pretty realistic it left me thinking that maybe angels do exist cause of how the author described the lifestyles of the angels that they can be casually living among us.
i gave this book 3 stars because well my emotions while reading this is like an undisturbed, calm ocean i was in neutral mode when i'm reading this and well i kinda predicted some things that will happen in the book (bragging much? XD) *spoilers* i predicted that clara will save Tucker not Christian and i predicted that christian is an angel. well OK,OK i predicted that he is a black wing but that's close right? haha! well i'm not saying that this book is bad it is a thousand times better than hush, hush and fallen but yeah i'm not really drawn to the whole story.... ^^ ...more
i haven't given much thought on what this book is about, i didn't actually read the synopsis, my eyes just caught Amazon Best Books of the Month, January 2011 inscription in it so i decided to give this a try, another plus factor is the cover, it actually gave me the impression that this book is about werewolves since the cover has this dark and foggy atmosphere around it. It turns out that this book is about some cheesy romance and time traveling(note to self: don't be a book synopsis snob)
if ever i have to pick a superpower i would never pick up the ability to time travel, i just believed in this so called butterfly effect wherein a small change of an event can cause either creation or destruction i just feel like people shouldn't defy the occurrence of the events that is happening in their lives. so maybe my lack of appreciation about time traveling made me gave this book a 2 star rating. I'm not saying that the book was entirely bad the first couple of pages was actually enticing, the next pages was so-so. and then it got boring, i just don't get the essence of Michele's time traveling, sure she met the boy who's haunting her in her dreams and she get to meet her relatives, get to know about her family history but i don't know what good her time traveling has lead to. it just opened up some more questions.
i guess people will appreciate this book if like the movie Kate And Leopold and if you want a cheesier version of Fushigi yuugi....more
is it just me or the girl from the cover kinda looks like Hayley Williams of Paramore????
they kinda look alike don't you think? LOL
i kindis it just me or the girl from the cover kinda looks like Hayley Williams of Paramore????
they kinda look alike don't you think? LOL
i kinda feel bad for giving this book a 1 star rating cause i've been really expecting myself to like this book, and i think i am one of the very few people who gave this book a 1 star rating but before you hate me or throw something hard on my face hear me out first. haha!
here's the reason why i gave this book 1 star.
- i've been seeing a lot of reviews that this book is action packed and filled with adrenaline, but here's the thing i find the action scenes in this book pretty repetitive it's like this
scene 1: ellie is slaying a reaper with Will scene 2: ellie is slaying Ragnuk scene 3: ellie and Will fighting a random reaper.
you see???? the action scenes just contains slaying and slaying and a lot more slaying of reapers!!! so is the book is action packed i have to admit that, but the imagination of the author didn't go any broader than slaying some reapers. so i guess this book is action packed yet it's boring.
- this book is about Ellie, so this book is written in a 1st person POV. ellie is a normal teenager until she found out that she is an reincarnated "reaper slayer" but don't let the normal-teenager-i-don't-care about-boys-crap fool you, i find ellie really flirty! she likes parties, wears a sexy nurse costume on halloween, always fantasizing about Will, fantasizing about Will kissing her, thinking Will is sexy and always giving a sly smile, not only that she has this very random questions and i think she is a spoiled brat, and she is just plain annoying! she is the main reason i didn't finish the book.!
-i don't like how the book is written, a lot of bad dialogues and shallow questions and shallow answers! blah!
-the almost half of the book is all about ellie and Will's unrequited love!
on the plus side i like the gothic-ish history related on this book like Sammael, lucifer, the fallen , angels and summerian thingy... the whole concept of the angels in this book is good it;s kinda Blue Bloodslike.
so i guess i'm not looking forward for the next two books, i had enough of ellie! and i didn't finish reading this one... i don't know what's wrong with me i've been giving a low rating on YA paranormal romance these days. ha!...more
I was so excited to read this book cause for the first time i saw its cover i was so in love with it, never haveOriginally posted @ The YA Bookworm
I was so excited to read this book cause for the first time i saw its cover i was so in love with it, never have i seen a very dark book cover, like the cover is enough for me to presume what is the story all about, i actually have this book's cover as my wallpaper on my phone (yeah, yeah i am that obsessed ^^ ).
anyways, let's proceed with the review... the book is actually about Cas Lowood who has the ability to slay ghosts, actually he slays ghost for living, until he met the ghost named Anna, Anna dressed in Blood...
ok, i really enjoyed reading this YA Novel, it's actually my first time to read a YA lit about ghosts, the first couple pages of the book is actually the moment when you really have to grasp the book to keep up with everything, i really find the first couple of pages of the book a bit more climatic than the middle part of the book.
i fing Anna a very interesting kind of ghost, the way Cas' describe her is really interesting he is like a ghost that is pretty with a dark edge to it, i can describe her a "Deadly yet Elegant" i was actually mostly looking forward to her story, like how was she killed? what was her life before she became a ghost, and thank god the author provided the most detailed and substantive information regarding my questions, when you know Anna Kurlov's story you will go like "OMG!! this is so much like Carrie's story!" (you know Carrie? the old classic horror movie with the shy and timid girl who turns psycho cause she was spilled with blood while being awarded as prom queen) that is how much Anna's story s like it was shocking, . On how was she killed, it never crossed in my mind that she was killed.
another thing i appreciate about this book is that reading from Cas's POV is really how i expected a boy to think, lot of swearing, curses and stuff like that, i like it cause coming from an author that is a girl (Kendare Blake is a girl right??) writing a novel from a guy's POV is kinda hard and as far as i know many girl author fail to deliver a smooth POV from a boy as their main character. so two thumbs up for ms.Blake you have really done a good job in writing this one fantastic novel. I am mostly looking forward on how cas and Anna's blossoming romance would be like, although it kinda bothers me on how Cas can fall in love with a ghost, not just a ghost but a DEADLY GHOST, but i guess that is the power of love.
i Guess I am not the only one that's looking forward for the next book, Girl of Nightmares has still have an indefinite date on when will it be published, kyaaa!! I am also looking forward on what will be the cover be like... :))
Kate- kate is actually the nicest daughter in the whole wide universe! she actually gave up her teena Originally posted @ The YA Bookworm
Kate- kate is actually the nicest daughter in the whole wide universe! she actually gave up her teenage life for taking care of her mom who has cancer. she won't date or go out and have a time of her life, she is actually a SAINT! cause to her time is precious she rather spend her time with her mom, cause she thinks the time left for her is ticking and she is actually a good friend she doesn't hold grudges to people who hurt her.
Henry- Henry is the lord of the underworld in this book, so basically he is Hades, i grew up thinking hades is a bad guy, but in this book Aimee Carter introduced a very different kind of Hades, the misunderstood kind, cause Hades in this book is so gentle the kind of guy you will to take home and meet your mom and dad, the kind of guy you will want to spend your life with and henry's lines in this book are so poetic the kind that will make your heart melt. haha!
after reading this i will delete this image of hades out of my mind. LOL
so this is again another retelling of the "rape of Persephone" but this one has a little something to it because Kate is should pass seven kind of test to make her immortal. so basically another added myth retelling here is "Labors of Hercules" wherein hercules has to finish 12 tasks enable to gain immortality after his death.
i don't know if some myths are messed up or changed cause some facts about mythology are different here like:
- Persephone was not kidnapped she was willing to become queen of the underworld, then she fell in love with a mortal, when that mortal died she chose to come with him and left hades -14 Olympians/ Council (erm.. as far as i know there are only 12) -diana is the roman name for Demeter ( ahm, Diana is actually the roman name for Artemis, goddess of the wild) -different names for the gods and goddesses -cereberus is a great dane (haha! i'm that observant eh?. LOL. i'm just kidding i don't care if cereberus is a great dane or a 3 headed dog) haha!
well i don't know if these are true or maybe Aimee Carter just changed some Myth facts in order to have a good flow of the story but Mythology can actually be derived in different time and places so maybe she get these facts in some other myths.
i gave the book 4 stars cause even though some myths are different, i like how this book is written this is a very light read, you actually wouldn't know that you are about to finish the book, and i like how Aimee Carter cut Hades some slack, cause she showed a different kind of lord of the underworld here the one that is tormented and humble.
so i wanna read the next book cause as far as i can see i am sensing a love triangle here cause James i think is also in love with Kate, so let's see how will the 2 gods fight for their hearts. :)
the book is about again the sidhe, the ability of a human to see through faerie glamour. first thing i noticed aboOriginally posted @ The YA Bookworm
the book is about again the sidhe, the ability of a human to see through faerie glamour. first thing i noticed about this book. I like the main character's name, Aislinn. the name is very unique, but my like for the main character just stops there, Aislinn is a kind of girl that is not capable of finishing her lines like for example, imagine this scenery with me.
(Aislinn knocks on Seth's door to confide about her date with Keenan)
*Knock,Knock* (Seth opens the door)
Seth: Ash, what's wrong? Aislinn: I... He... I can't... Last night... I don't know! *sobs*
see? gosh! she is like that when depression strikes and it is jst so frustrating! OMG! why can't she finish her lines? haha! OMG! but i guess i get to like Aislinn in the end ( JUst a bit) cause maybe she gets to be a little tough.
Moving on to the concept of the book, so another story about the Sidhe Seer eh?i have seen different faces of the Feys like there is the joyful kind, the kind that wants to torture humans, the erotic kind, the trickster and so on. well in this book what kind of faeries did i see? ahmm. i guess the EMO kind, cause i have to say that the book is written in a dark lyrical way, what I mean is the book has no trace of humor in it, not a moment in the book a broke a grin, it's just that faeries are really serious in this book, and it's really nice that Melissa Marr made a whole new impression of Feys in here the kind that maybe has a capability of feeling a certain emotion. and i did enjoy reading Donia's POV. i like how she is tormented with her iciness and that she is trapped, i feel sorry for her.
another love triangle blossoming in this book AGAIN! so which side i'm on? well I'm team seth, i like his piercings and sincerity, come on! he waited 7 months for Ash i give him credit for that and also maybe the medical test that he undergo to is maybe a bit funny but hmmm i find it sincere that he will do anything that so he can prove that he is clean. right? *grins* Keenan on the other hand is the intimidating kind, so not my type.
the ending of the book is just so confusing and i don't know what to expect next, as for Donia i can say that she deserved to be a Queen after all what she's been through.
this is an overall nice read, the reason i gave it a 3 stars is because of Ash's incomplete lines, but i like the faeries here, something new to moi. so will read the next book of the series --- INK EXCHANGE. ...more
Archangel's kiss the second installment of the guild hunter novel
i can say that this book is very intense. i mean really intense, since Elena just r Archangel's kiss the second installment of the guild hunter novel
i can say that this book is very intense. i mean really intense, since Elena just recently became an angel and the Archangel of NY just claimed her to be his lover/pet (gee, whatever you call it) so the first couple of pages is just about. teasing, groping, pinching (yeah yeah PINCHING!!) (-.-) and *toot* and *toot* and *tooooooooot!!!!!* yay! so basically Raphael is suppressing his urges towards Elena cause he thinks that he might break her, so there is a lot of teasing, call me prude but i think it's kinda too much. haha! just like the first 60% of the book is about that, but on the bright side they do it out of love cause in this book it is proven and without a doubt that Elana and Raphael are two inseparable beings. *awww.. giddy*
is the the second book better than the first one???
a Big,huge YES!!! maybe the first 60% is just what i stated above but the remaing 40% goodness! it's filled with mystery, gore and action cause in this book Elena is having nightmares regarding her past, her mom and two sisters were killed by a vampire(i forgot his name) so her past is haunting her and well i think Elana's past is what i'm looking forward to in the next book.
another thing is Lijuan the Chinese archangel who makes zombies or reborns as they call it and i find her really creepy, cause archangels make vampires not zombies, so another on the look out in this book is lijuan the creepy zombie maker. LOL
a lot of angels are introduced in this book also.
just saw this fan art @ nalini's blog... and i am telling you! i am dying of cuteness here.. haha! oh well i am more interested to know the blue winged angel :"> am not much of a fan of a pinching archangel.. KIDDING!! i like to know Illuim cause he is more outgoing than raphael.. hoping to see him more in the next book.
