When I heard Victor was getting his own story I was ecstatic, when I found out his book would be the last in the Hearts series, I was sad. I have not so silently been stalking Claire on Facebook this month, getting any and every detail I could of Victor and Nicole.
Victor and Nicole where hot, but together they were combustible. Their story flew of the pages and held my attention from start to finish. There is just something about this author's writing that appeals to me and I feel fortunate to have found such an amazing, talented author.
While Elastic Hearts is definitely a standalone, I highly recommend Kaleidoscope Hearts and Paper Hearts as they are both superb reads! This whole series has done me in and I can't recommend it enough. It is very rare for me to rate a book 5 stars, but to rate all three is almost unheard of for me.
This book was so boring to me. I'm not sure if it was because prior to this book I had several awesome reads or if it truly was a bore.

My reason for not liking this book has nothing to do with the infidelity issue. I happen to like those types of books very much, if done right. I just found it hard to connect with the main characters.

It had to be because it was a free book or on kindle unlimited. These days I do not add free books on my kindle unless I intend to read them. I just don't remember doing so.
I'm a little conflicted in how I want to rate this book. In many ways I loved it and some others not so much. I believe the author wanted to tell a story that would last a lifetime. While I believed the characters loved each other, to me it seemed it took a lifetime to get their HEA.
The first half of the book is about young love. It's about how Dylan and Aubrey met and fell in love. It was perfect and I really loved this part. However, the second part there are so many time jumps, broken up in chunks. Overall is was 16 years. If I wasn't so invested in this couple I would of probably put the book down. I don't mind some time gaps but that was ridiculous!
The conclusion saved this book for me. It felt real and I loved it.
It would be hard doing a review without giving away spoilers so I'll just leave off here.

Having said that, I was truly surprised. This is not your typical MC book, or cop book for that matter. Some parts were sad, others where humorous.
I will read more of this authors work. I like her style. :)

I love this series, I love the main characters, the story, the secondary characters. I've had happiness, I've felt discomfort, and angry with some of the thinks Gideon and Eva had to go through.
It took me a long time to read this. One, the book was very long (IMO). Two, some of it dragged a bit. Three, I wasn't quite ready to let go.
Having said all that. I'm still not sure why there were 5 books in this series. It seems to me everything could of wrapped up in book 3 or 4.
And that ending? Wtf that was out of nowhere!
We get a so called "epilogue" not one that I think is long time fans deserved. Yes, I want the full thing. I want to know what happened with Gideon and Eva down the line. I wanted to see rainbows and unicorns. Or babies. Lol
I still have many questions that were left unanswered!! That pisses me off!!
Goodbye for now Gideon and Eva, I'll see you on my dreams and finish your story!
This is one of my favorite books this year! And to think I almost didn't read it. When I read the synopsFree on Amazon. Ends today. Top favorite book!
This is one of my favorite books this year! And to think I almost didn't read it. When I read the synopsis months ago, I didn't find it that interesting and only read it because I was interested in book 2 and wanted to get the back story of Jensen and Mia.
Oliver and Estelle's story totally captured me and I loved everything about it. It is exactly what I look for in a contemporary romance.
*note* I shelved it as left hanging, I need more, not because I was left hanging, the story wraps up nicely, but I wanted more. I wasn't ready to be done.

I really enjoyed this book, so much that read it in one sitting and the immediately started the novella that continues Alex and Courtney's story.
I am really surprised none of my friends have read this book and only has added it to their tbr pile.
Alex and Courtney have been married for 10 years with two young daughters. Soon the two become disconnected in a way that strains their relationship.
I really wanted to hate Courtney. And there were definitely times I wanted to strangle her, but mostly I felt for her. Sometimes in marriage, it is easy to become disconnected, to not talk about your feeling with your spouse, and become detached.
When another man starts showing compassion and affection to Courtney will she risks her marriage? Will she take it to far?
Since this book is written in Courtney POV it was hard to figure out what was going on with Alex. Courtney seemed to think he is was acting suspicious and came to the conclusion that he was having an affair. I understood her suspicions, Alex was away on business trips frequently and hardly called her when he was away. However, I think the two could of overcome this with being "true" to one another.
I admit, I became a little disgruntled with the story and around the 75% mark became worried about what the future hold for them, so much that I looked for spoilers to halt my worries.
While I ended up really enjoying this, I would only recommend this to friends who do not have an issue of reading topics of infidelity.

The first one I though was okay, the second I liked a little more, and this one was icing on the cake! I absolutely loved this book, adored it, want more of it!
I loved Zack and Kate. I loved how Zack wasn't the typical sports hero banging everything around him. I loved how Kate wasn't the typical heroine, she was smart, dorky, and an incredible heroine. I loved her relationship with Ben.
I can't wait to read Ryker's story and the I will go and read Alex and Garret's book!
Those are the first seven thoughts I had after reading this book.
Being that I read many books a year, I know the difference between reality and a book of fiction. But this book, the characters, the story, the superb writing made me feel like I was living in Jensen and Mia's world.
I can go on and on about my love for not only this book, but Kaleidoscope Hearts as well.
If I was a re-reader this would be re-read 1000 times.
