King and Tyrant are the best two book series I've read this year! T. M. Frazier you made me fall in love, made me hate, gutted me, and then put it me all back together. That was fucking EPIC!
Besides the obvious, you know having an extremely sex-on-a-stick, broody, alpha hero. I loved everything about this book! The heroine "Doe" was one of the best heroines ever IMO. It's a rare feat to have. One that is strong, smart, and doesn't whine all the time, especially for being so young.
So "calm your clit" folks and read this now!
To the author: we should be best friends because you are now my favorite author to stalk. ...more

Dani's father was a bit much, he needs an estrogen shot! For real!! I know his story is in the Corps series, I just hope his testosterone level is turned down a notch. I mean, I love a good alpha, but gezzzz.
Can't wait to read about the secondary characters!

However, that never came about so I'm sorry if I confuse you. Hell, I confuse myself.
After finishing this book, I felt.....guilt. I've never felt guilt over reading a book before, but somehow I felt guilty because Ms. Wilde's MC books are like crack for me, I've loved and adored all of them. And I loved this one too! My guilt stems from not being able to remember anything about a secondary character, Painter, who's story will be releasing next in the Reapers series.
Sure I remember the name Painter and remember wanting his story, but there where things mentioned about him in Silver Bastard that I had no clue about and that they were perhaps mentioned in previous Reapers books. One of them being that Painter has a child. I need more info on this please?! Like who's the mother? Does he see this child often? Does he have a hand in raising the child? I seriously somehow don't remember anything about him having a kid. Also, who in the heck is Melanie? Is she the mom? The only reason I know that she is London's niece is because I had to email a close reader friend and scope these questions out, and she didn't remember all of it either.
Now on to Puck and Becca--These two story starts out not so desirable, and while this may turn some fans off. I actually liked it.....no, not liked it because I really don't like that sort of situations, but in a way I kinda did, and only because Puck didn't really know what the fuck was goin' on. If he new, then I'd want to stab him in the eye. I appreciate the author going there, not many will or have and it was different.
I really thought I wouldn't like Becca. Not because she was young or inexperienced, but because I thought at some point she would pull the "poor me" card. Don't get me wrong she was naive, and let a crack whore take advantage of her, but sometimes in life and apparently in the book world, we humans love unconditionally and look for that love in return, even when it's not warranted.
Alpha! That is the definition of Puck. I loved him and his over the top controlling self!
Most MC books I've read are usually over the top with grit, raw, hardcore gore and while I love that in these types of books, I felt Silver Bastard was somewhat tame and I absolutely LOVED that too! I think it really showed that Ms. Wilde can deliver a good good story without all the dramatized happenings one might find in a MC book. Don't get me wrong Silver Bastard is not filled with rainbows and unicorns and there are a few scenes that I would not like to be in the center of, but it just wasn't filled with them.
Can't wait to read Painters story in the 5th Reapers book coming soon!
PS. Ms. Wilde, if by chance you are reading this I'm sorry I'm such a horrible fan and can't remember shit! I still heart you hard! Oh and if you can, please talk to your publisher in considering moving up the release date of the next Reapers book. Thank you!

I really loved book two Fifty Shades Darker it was perhaps my favorite book in a long while. This book took me longer to get through, it was much slower in pace. But the last 25% was phenomenal! It had me in tears, my skin was prickling and left me with a huge grin on my face.
I hope this author comes out with some more fantastic reads very soon!!
This is the first book I read in this series. I really liked the story, but loved the ending because toHas one of the BEST ever epilogues I have read.
This is the first book I read in this series. I really liked the story, but loved the ending because too often I get stuck with a ending that seems rushed or just left you hanging. Ms Clare wrapped the ending up so well and believable I was in awe.
I can't really say much with out giving the story away. I will say the suspense is more of a 4 star for me, but the H&h worked really well together as a team and the romance aspect of the book was really good.
I will definitely be reading more of this authors work!

While Sam was on a mission to Mexico, he met Sophie and the two quickly fell for each other and into bed.
Five months later Sophie shows up running from trouble and is in need of Sam's protection. Oh she's pregnant too.
I liked Sophie and Sam separately as well as together. I swear though that she has like 9 or 15 lives. She's been choked, shot, thrown into a lake to float on a log, slapped, punched, and the list goes on and on. I'm amazed that she or the baby didn't suffer more than a few cuts and bruises and a broken finger or two.
As mentioned in another review I read. There is way too much mention of the little one kicking & flipping. And of the word puke. I'm not sure if the author felt she need to remind us or if they were used as a filler, but either way I got the point and I'm sure others did too.
I've heard the phrase "your father will have a cow" before, but never "your father will have a kitten" so that kinda made me chuckle, just because it was unexpected.
Oh WOW what can I say... I love me some Johnny Duane Reed!

I thought the book started out with a bang but somewhere in between I wasn't so sure. I was hoping it picked back up and sure enough it did. This was going to be a 4 1/2 star rating for me until the ending and even after finishing the book I'm still smiling.
So for that 5 stars all the way!!
Cindy Gerard is becoming one of my favorite authors. I have only read the first three books in this series and will continue. I would also like to get a hold of her other series Bodyguards soon!...more

This smokin' hot read just moved on up to one of my all time re-readable novels. I loved Gabe (be still my beating heart) & Jenna (amazing spitfire) they are perfectly flawed and perfect for each other!
One thing I loved about Gabe (and it's certainly not the most important) Is when he came to the realization that he loved Jenna and he didn't think, OMG what? I love Jenna! He already knew it and didn't try to squirm away from realizing it. So thank you Cindy for that!
Okay I'll stop blabbing now. I just got done reading it and my brain is spinning like a super fast paced roller coaster of things I want to say, but can't form into words!
