I love this series, I love the main characters, the story, the secondary characters. I've had happiness, I've felt discomfort, and angry with some of the thinks Gideon and Eva had to go through.
It took me a long time to read this. One, the book was very long (IMO). Two, some of it dragged a bit. Three, I wasn't quite ready to let go.
Having said all that. I'm still not sure why there were 5 books in this series. It seems to me everything could of wrapped up in book 3 or 4.
And that ending? Wtf that was out of nowhere!
We get a so called "epilogue" not one that I think is long time fans deserved. Yes, I want the full thing. I want to know what happened with Gideon and Eva down the line. I wanted to see rainbows and unicorns. Or babies. Lol
I still have many questions that were left unanswered!! That pisses me off!!
Goodbye for now Gideon and Eva, I'll see you on my dreams and finish your story!

I really enjoyed this book, so much that read it in one sitting and the immediately started the novella that continues Alex and Courtney's story.
I am really surprised none of my friends have read this book and only has added it to their tbr pile.
Alex and Courtney have been married for 10 years with two young daughters. Soon the two become disconnected in a way that strains their relationship.
I really wanted to hate Courtney. And there were definitely times I wanted to strangle her, but mostly I felt for her. Sometimes in marriage, it is easy to become disconnected, to not talk about your feeling with your spouse, and become detached.
When another man starts showing compassion and affection to Courtney will she risks her marriage? Will she take it to far?
Since this book is written in Courtney POV it was hard to figure out what was going on with Alex. Courtney seemed to think he is was acting suspicious and came to the conclusion that he was having an affair. I understood her suspicions, Alex was away on business trips frequently and hardly called her when he was away. However, I think the two could of overcome this with being "true" to one another.
I admit, I became a little disgruntled with the story and around the 75% mark became worried about what the future hold for them, so much that I looked for spoilers to halt my worries.
While I ended up really enjoying this, I would only recommend this to friends who do not have an issue of reading topics of infidelity.

They remain one of my favorite couples, but this book just didn't do it for me. I really wish the author would have finished it with book three, as it seems the series is just dragging on now.

CTMA totally did it for me! It was everything I wanted in a book and more. We get to see Carson and Carolyn's love story of fifty years unfold and it was truly beautiful.
I loved Carson! But I absolutely adored Carolyn. After reading the fifteen books prior to CTMA it gave me insight to their relationship and views that we've seen in their prior scenes.
What surprised me the most was Carolyn's sister Kimi. She had me laughing my butt off, and I wish I could of seen more of her and Cal.
This was the perfect ending for my favorite series. Lorelei you did a fantastic job my friend. Now I wanna sit down and have a few drinks with you and reminisce about all the men and women in this fictional town.

I was a little worried going into this book that the author would spend too much time describing the events that took place between Rock Bottom and Lovely Trigger, and not enough time in the present. However, she didn't and I was completely satisfied with only getting a brief telling.
Ms. Lilley truly blew me away with this entire series. I believe it is some if not, her best work!
Tristan and Dankia's story is truly a masterpiece that I will not forget. Their story is at the top of my favorite series list.
I recommend this series to anyone who loves to watch a couple through their journey of friendship, love, loss, and finding theirselves again.
Lovely Trigger-5 stars! Tristan and Danika Series 5+ stars!!...more
I've been a reader of Angie's blog for about a year now, and was surprised last year when I heard she was writing her own book!5 Oddly Amazing Stars!
I've been a reader of Angie's blog for about a year now, and was surprised last year when I heard she was writing her own book! Being a huge supporter of Indie Authors myself, I knew I would give her a chance, and this was one of those chances I'm glad I took.
It's no secret that Against All Odds features a couple whom have an open marriage, some may consider this cheating; however, I don't, but if I did the cheating theme doesn't turn me off unless it comes out of left field. In this case, the theme is displayed for all to know before you even read the book.
I'll admit, even though I don't mind these types of stories, I was a wee bit nervous in starting the book because frankly there are some like that should never be crossed. One thing I can't handle in this type of book is two amazing hero's who have the same love interest. However, it's not at all like it seems.
Cooper and Kylie both were fucked up! Does this excuse their behavior? Well no, but I understand it. Could their problems have been worked out without having to endure so much heartache? Well certainly!
Knowing Angie love angst in her books that she reads, I had no doubt she would deliver a healthy dose in her book, and well she tipped the cake with the angst.
Grayson--yeah his one sexy motherfucker! I wanted to hold this sweet amazing man! He's what dreams are made of and I was ecstatic to find out he's getting his own story in Against The Grain (hurry up, I need this like yesterday)!
Cali--I loved her, and wish we got to see more of her. I hope she gets her own shot at happiness too.
The only thing I wished for was an epilogue, but don't fret the ending was not rushed or skimmed over. We got a very happy ending, I just wanted to see what happened later, hopefully we will see this in other books.
Overall I loved this book, I read it in two days and it would have been a read in one sitting if real life didn't get in the way!
I really don't even have the words to begin to tell you how much I loved this book, all three books for that matter! There are some fantastic reviewsI really don't even have the words to begin to tell you how much I loved this book, all three books for that matter! I loved everything about this series and I'm so glad I took a chance on it.
Kiera and Kellan are ridiculousness one of my TOP favorite couples EVER!! and the supporting cast is right up there with them.
Possible Spoiler if you haven't read book 2 (view spoiler)[ I'm sure I'm not the only one who still felt heartache towards Denny, even though everyone moved on I still had tears in my eyes in most of his scenes. (view spoiler)[

I can't go into too much detail without giving it away considering this is a very short story.
Jessica Meyers has been happily married for fifteen years to detective Alex Meyers. After getting her hands on some hot erotic romance novels, Jessica starts having erotic fantasies about her and Alex, but the problem is that Jessica has some qualms about sharing those fantasies with her detective hubs, not knowing if he will go for it or think she's "gross."

I really loved book two Fifty Shades Darker it was perhaps my favorite book in a long while. This book took me longer to get through, it was much slower in pace. But the last 25% was phenomenal! It had me in tears, my skin was prickling and left me with a huge grin on my face.
I hope this author comes out with some more fantastic reads very soon!!
First of all I have to be in a certain mood to read anything remotely being chick-litish.

First of all I have to be in a certain mood to read anything remotely being chick-litish.
Second I'm not to fond of first person POV.
When first starting out I was like oh gesh first person, then I was like this Harper chick if crazy.
By the second chapter, I was wowed! I fell in love with the book so fast I couldn't put it down and when I did I felt the need to rush through my day half assed to pick it up again as soon as I could. In fact I felt irritated at times when people talked to me, and its been a very long time since I felt this way about a book.
This is my first Kristan Higgins books and it wont be my last. I found the characters felt real. Even Coco (the dog) was adorable and cute.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a reunited theme.
There is no steam in this book, but for me (I know weird huh) it didn't need it. The story by it self was amazing.

What to say, I really, really loved this story. Truthfully it took me awhile to remember Kevin from the previous stories. I remembered Molly from It Had To Be You.
I loved Molly. It took me a little longer to fall for Kevin, but once I did I fell hard for him too.
This has plenty of laugh out loud, as well as some very tearful heartbreaking moments.
This story will stay with me for years to come and I believe it is re-read worthy!
