Blake the demon slayer out on his first mission to rid the world of evil, with his well practiced lines and sword skills (not that sword, get your mind out of the gutter). He is also the chosen one, destined to save the world, but first he has to figure out this whole demon-slaying thing.
When an acid spitting demon shows up at the cemetery, he is patrolling. Blake is ready to put his skills to the test. Just when he is ready to do a showdown, another demon slayer jumps out wielding an awesmazing glowing stick and possesses power Blake only wish he had. It kinda pisses him off but he can’t help noticing that Mr Glowing Stick is a hottie.
What Blake later learns is that he is not the only chosen, he is one of the chosen ones (talk about feeling less important) and glowing stick boy is called Shadow. It seems Blake and Shadow have a lot in common, and a mutual attraction might be one of them.
This little short was super hilarious, because Blake is super hilarious. He was trying so hard to be all tough demon slayer, but in the end, he is just a kid learning the ropes. Blake and Shadow are a pants losing waiting happen, their fumbling into the sexual domain was just super sweet. I do declare they will be one kick ass team.
Let me just say that this story has the potential to be one great series. I want to see Blake and Shadow again as they grow into their demon ass kicking ways. I want to see their mistakes and triumphs and I just know it will be one great hell of a time. These boys will make you smile, and Blake St. Blake is one heck of a scene-stealer.

I was so very disappointed in Sounds of Love I feel like crying. I wanted to like it so much, based on the blurb and that very pretty cover but in the end, it just did not work for me. Mostly it all comes down to one of the MC’s annoying the crap out of me. So whenever he opened his mouth, or rambled on internally I pitched a fit.
Jordan Waters is a cop and he has just moved to a new city after suffering a gunshot wound. He has new partner in the fraud division and he’s all-good at his job. When his partner invites him over for a Friday night poker game, he meets Sebastian a beautiful man that shakes his foundation and having wanting things he’s even scared to dream of.
A night of flirting with Sebastian leads Jordan to the realization that landing his prey comes with a cost, and he will never settle for just being a one-night fuck. Sebastian’s handicap of being unable to hear doesn’t hold him back in any form and Jordan is attracted to his strength while facing adversity. The two begin a tentative relationship and slowly make their way into building a family.
I believe 2 years ago I would have loved the crap out of this book. There’s the angst, the beautiful sexy characters, and the drama. The writing is very good if very descriptive and repetitive at most, I still liked it. The thing character who ruined my whole reading experience was Jordy. He was extra, over dramatic, and a preacher. His title says cop but I don’t know… dude can go on and on and on.
“This very well-maintained SUV of mine became a fountain of dreams and aspirations and wants and desires because it was the first place where he had touched me.”
=_= the note I wrote in the Kindle “Are u fucking kidding me right now. It’s just a freaking car”. Seriously Jordan aspirations, dreams?
“Hey grumpy old man, I’ll be sixteen in three months. Then I’ll kick your ass.” I laughed wholeheartedly. “Yeh, I’d love to see that.” So I had a black belt in judo. So I knew teakwondo, and jujutsu, and Krav Maga. I wasn’t about to let Bro know that. His uninformed challenge at me would just make his epiphany that much sweeter.
Seriously, Jordan it’s a figure of speech your Krav Maga and other lethal skills isn’t needed here. I am surprised he didn’t answer back in one of the seven languages he knows.
There were moments that I really enjoyed the book, but then you know who would get into one of his rants which tells how awesome he is, then how broken he is, and then how awesomely broken he is. I did like the slow burn that Jordan and Sebastian relationship offered. They didn’t just jump in to bed together, and some of their scenes together were cute.
I liked Bro, Sebastian’s little brother he was very cute (though I have no clue why Bro likes Jordan so much. He said a lot of douchy things to him). Liked some of the supporting characters. Not really on board with the second hook-up in the book, seems pointless and too much.
Overall, I really wanted to like this book more but in the end eye roll numerous was out in full force. I really cannot stand Jordan and feel Sebastian deserves someone better. It won’t be my last time reading Susan Laine because I did enjoy some of the writing, and can’t completely rule the author out. Just couldn’t make a connection with this one.(less)

I am so happy; I took the chance and decided to review this book. These Shorts will have you in stitches.
The first story, A Stroke of Luck was a sweet look at having a second chance at life. Chip Lowell is in the prime of his life; he is a top chef and has boy toys of all ages to play with. He has no one significant person in his life, he's an in and out type of guy. The men he sleeps with they know the deal, and Chip knows he’s a catch. With a new cooking show in the upcoming, life can’t be more fabulous for Chip, until the most unaccepted incident befalls him.
Chip has suffered a stroke, and it comes as shock because he has never been sick a day in his life. He ultimately suffers alone, and in the midst of it all, he realizes that he had no true friends. With the help of Allie his nurse, Chip is able to make it through his days in the hospital. When its time to leave the hospital, he needs in home care and he takes the one person he has come to depend on, Allie. It seems Chip has been dealt a good hand, because he gets to start over and found someone in the process.
I really enjoyed reading this story. It’s a case of anything can happen, and you never know when it will.
This is where the awesome comes in. A series of letters written over a few years by Arthur, breaking up with a fictional boyfriend (refer to blurb). These letters cover kink, all the things that can go wrong in a relationship and the fact sometimes we just keep going back to douche bag boyfriends.
A laugh riot of epic proportions, Henry had me in stitches. I think if he were real… I would have really liked to be his friend. The author has an uncanny skill of writing humour, and just a way with words. The letters are the highlight of the book, and for that reason alone, you should go check it out.
"I should have written sooner to thank you for my birthday present but truth be told you had the wrong day and the wrong month. And you sent it to the wrong address. You’re an ass." Are You an Inny or an Outy-Dear Henry Letters
I will be reading this one again, because I just have to experience the letters over and over again. I am still cracking up.

Man I love college and I love drinking I love women men I love college - Asher Roth 'I Love College'
I loved reading this book, because it brought the funny in epic proportions. I think this is my first laugh out loud read of 2012, and that makes it a winner because I love to laugh. Frat Boy and Toppy is going on the list of one of my faves.
Brad is confused, or maybe he isn’t confused just in serious denial about what he is feeling. Brad is interested in women, and he’s pretty much a ladies man but why is a naked hairy MALE ass getting his juices flowing. He cannot be gay. He is a jock that guzzles beer and parties like a rock star with his frat brothers. So explain his anal curiosity, or the fact that he just stuck a hairbrush up his ass when he doesn’t even own a hairbrush. Also the sexy TA Sebastian from his class is giving him awesome feeling in his pants. Brad is starting to see that he is gay, and rearing to go.
Its not just all college fun and parties. Brad struggles with the fact that he might have used a lot of women along the way to avoid the way he was truly feeling. He was trying to fit in the box that those around him had put him in. Accepting his feeling is making the weight lighter, but Brad still has some coming out to do. How does he tell a house full of jocks, his friends, and family that he’s gay?
Seriously, this book is freaking awesome. Like “I found the masterpiece in you” awesome. I laughed, got a little teary eyed (only because I was laughing so hard). However, within all the humour and light tone, one thing becomes clear. Sometimes people can be stereotypical asses! I don’t know if that idea was meant to be subtle or maybe it wasn’t even the author’s intention, but as you read, you start to see it. No way, the guy with abs you can do laundry on, who likes to work out, and play sports be gay. It is just impossible! I think this book captures that, and shows it’s not about physicality and how tough you are, it’s about how you feel and Who. You. Are. Then you just go ahead and embrace it.
The sex will melt your eyes, the device you’re reading it on, and your pants will just up and leave you. I haven’t seen mine in days; it will come back when it’s ready. Since I read Whitetail Rock, Anne Tenino has been on my radar and she is freaking awesome. Her characters are unique, flawed, and fecking hilarious. I am reading everything she puts out, no lie. Frat Boy and Toppy is humorous, sexy as hell, and has me saying “I Love College”.

I don’t even have the words to express how awesome this book was, no freaking words. This will be another review where I am unable to express the awesmazingness packed into 292 pages. Cat and Rachel has outdone themselves with PP: A, and after fangirling over book 1, I am stone cold obsessed with Power Play: Awakening. Jonathan and Brandon are a tattoo on my heart and in brain. Impossible to Forget.
Power Play: Awakening picks up right after the first book, which left you wondering how things were going to work out between Brandon and Jonathan. Their relationship was a disaster from the beginning but there were glimpses that something beautiful would be the result if both men were to let go of their hang-ups. Well Brandon is willing to give it another go, and what a sweet second chance it was.
With 5 months left in their contract, Brandon has to completely submit and face things about himself that aren’t pleasant. He is willing to try, and when his head lets go of the things he believes a man shouldn’t be doing, and his heart accepts that there is no shame in submitting. Together the men create a rhythm filled with such sweetness, such pain, and love.
A love not recognizable from the beginning but you can feel it in their actions, the moments of tender vulnerability, and the fact that they are willing to do anything for each other. However, it is not always rainbows and sunshine with Jonathan being a hardcore sadist, and Brandon not being a fan of pain. It’s a freaking match made in heaven y’all. Because he want’s Brandon not to want the pain, he want’s his real tears and he wants his suffering, above all else he wants Brandon to take the pain for him. To willingly suffer for him.
Jonathan has come a long way from the man he was in book one. He is patient, loving, and so freaking sexy he made my pants lose pants. His character spellbinds me, and I think I dream about him at night. Brandon broke my wee little heart. His headspace was bit fucked up, but I loved those moments when he gave in. It came so natural to him, and makes you wonder why was he fighting it in the first place.
You could argue about whether both men feelings are genuine, based on how the relationship was started. I think a long the way the money became a lesser issue, because the money became an excuse for Brandon to stay. It was the only way he could cope. So Brandon you ain’t no ho, because sometimes we need that anchor to keep us to a place. If you are a ho? You sure are a smart one ^_~
Overall, I loved the crap out of this book. The writing was superb, the story excellent and the characters the freaking best. I am a huge fan of BDSM books, and they are sometimes never done right, never written with the respect that is needed. The Power Play series was written with respect, and a sure knowledge of the scene. This will forever be one of my favourite reads. Just Simply the Freaking Best!
Thanks to Rachel Haimowitz for providing me with extra pants, because yes a lot of pants were lost in the reading of this.

Firstly, let’s start out by talking about that amazing cover. I just love it so much, it is just so light and fun just like the book. J.L Merrow is a master at making me laugh, and falling head over heels for her characters. She has taken a spot as one of my fave authors, my go to when I want a fun read with a side of hot loving.
Tom Paretski isn't your ordinary plumber he also has a talent for finding hidden things, stuff hidden out of guilt or hiding a dirty secret. The talent first made an appearance when he was a young boy and found the body of a little girl, not the most ideal experience for a young boy but it is a gift that comes in handy. So, when the cops can’t find something they call in Tom. He finds himself searching for a missing woman and the outcome isn’t a pleasant one. Now it seems his town has a got a killer on their hands, and to make things a little worse for him. He runs into his high school crush and bully. Phil is still as gorgeous as ever but seeing him, the past comes rearing its ugly head.
Now Phil has need of Tom's little finders’ keepers’ skill, and the men begin an investigation of their own. It’s a surprise they got anything done, when they fight like cats and dogs, and constantly butt heads. Underneath all their bitching, the sexual tension was crackling and I kept thinking "so when are you guys gonna get naked already?"
Seriously, this book is a lot of fun. The murder-mystery was done well and kept me guessing up to the end. The highlight of the story is the town folks; I kept anticipating who would be next on Phil and Tom's list of suspects. The slow developing relationship between Phil and Tom was nice to read about, but I found myself getting frustrated with both their attitudes. I understood that they had old hurts to get pass, but man did they take their time >.<
Overall, I really liked it and enjoyed the variety in characters a lot. J.L has a gift in introducing new characters and having them play some part whether it is small or important, (that’s no small feat). So yes, please do check this one out, lots of mystery (I kept it all mysterious), surprises, and most of all fun.(less)

Thank you Rhys Ford for surpassing my expectations and making me happy. Let’s be frank, sometimes sequels can be a let down and though I was excited out of pants to read Dirty Secret I wasn't anticipating gold. Well folks I got platinum, I never thought I would like this book so much and I enjoyed it a lot more than the first. It was like sitting down to a kick ass episode of Cole McGinnis P.I. Sometimes even the most awesome has faults and so I do have a few things that bothered me.
Dirty Secret begins with a bang just like the first book Dirty Kiss, where Cole finds himself on one of his unusual cases. Think sex shop and instead of "Dick in a box", it's dick in a bottle. It’s a good thing he has his beautiful Korean lover Jae-Min to feed him and give him endless amount of cuddles, but it seems his cuddles are gonna have to wait. When the beautiful Scarlet, sexy Filipino man/woman shows up on his doorstep with a case to find a missing person Cole knows things are about to go south. Because being tangled up in Korean business either leads to him getting shot or people dying.
Gay and being Korean does not mix well and Cole is seeing it firsthand with his investigation. It’s also something he is experiencing on a personal level with Jae-Min because good Korean boys must get married, make the babies, and make their families happy. Now Cole is digging up old dirt and opening old wounds and that isn't going over well with the prestigious families. When bodies start dropping like flies, Cole knows he should walk away but he cant help wanting to find the truth even if it might cost him the ones he loves the most.
There is so much to enjoy in this book, with its constant action and bombs of surprise. I laughed so much and cried as mush equally. Cole's estranged parents make an appearance and man... was it sucky. They really brought the hatred and my heart broke so much for him, which really made me realize how much I am wary of Jae-Min for him. Yes, he is this beautiful Korean and that is my ultimate bias but I feel like Cole is living his truth and its not easy and he deserves someone who is living equally as honest. It’s a complicated relationship and I am looking forward to where the author is taking them. Their future might be unclear but they still know how to set the sheets on fire and cause a pants losing, "Wowza" they were hot.
My overall peeve is that I don't think the story came together well. It went all over the place by the end, and then the conclusion just felt "Meh". I kept wondering, "So the point of this was?" Would have been better if someone was trying to keep the truth from coming out instead of a looney with a gun (because really he was just a loony with a gun).
Overall, I really enjoyed the story and am looking forward to the next book in a pants-less state. I really am hoping Jae-Min proves something in the future cus right now I just view him as the glorified pretty boy who is still just there (I want him to shine). Cole is still the best and one of my fave characters ever, he's really made of awesome. I believe fans of the first book will enjoy Dirty Secret and then faint at the end of it. I have a sneaking suspicion that instead of Chaebols, Cole will be taking up with the Yakuza it only seems fair that he handles his Japanese side.
SideNote- The next book should be titled Dirty Pants y/y (ok that would be too much)
SideNote2- I think this book should come with a glossary for all the Korean words. Because not everyone will be a pro like moi >.<

OMG my ass is just all kinds of love in love with this story just all kinds of love. It was sexy, funny, and just cotton candy sweet without the toothache. I was expecting to like this one but I was not expecting to love it, this one is a 5+ Pants Off.
Ash is the pretty party boy and he makes no apologies about it. He can get anyone he wants and knows he's above average when it comes to looks and all that. As a tattoo artist, he has dreams of opening a tattoo parlour with his best bud but until then he's gonna party the night away and also fuck it away. When he runs in to Fee while helping his brother's girlfriend move his initial reaction is geek and not interested. Suddenly he's getting all hot under the collar for Fee and decides to make a move because after all what geek is gonna turn him down.
Well, Fee turns him down and Ash is left in shock but he knows the man is interested so he goes on the offensive. I am talking the dating guide that shows you how to connect with your geek. Learn his lingo to ultimately get in his pants and win his heart. Ash is having a hard time of it and is making a fool of himself in the process. Maybe, Fee is not interested and who could blame him. He has past dirty deeds longer than his arm and Fee looks like he would be in it for the long run. Ash is thinking maybe with Fee he could think about forever too.
I just loved the hell out of Ash. He is so funny and cute and really shined in the book. I enjoyed how he ultimately stopped trying so hard and went about being himself. Fee is now my new CLIF (character I'd love to fuck. I stole this from Amy Lane). He's all geeky but when you let him out of his cage, he sets the sheet and your pants on fire. Omo, I need a sexy nerd.
The build up of the relationship between the men was done very well. It started as friendship but developed in a very believable long lasting love. The sex is not frequent but when it does happened, GAWD I literally hyperventilated. I read so much sex that most of the time I don't really notice a difference. I noticed it here. Maybe it’s all to do with Fee's cool exterior but man.... Shit was hot. There relationship is also set in motion by supporting characters, characters I am very much looking forward to getting their own books (Ahem Jae) can never have too many sexy Korean characters.
Kudos to Piper Vaughn and Xara Xanakas for writing such an awesome book. I now dub you guys a Dynamic Duo, and your geeky ways knows no bounds. I now really want to go to a steampunk costume party, so I can drool all over the sexiness. I recommend this, and hope you fall in love with Ash and Fee as much as I did.(less)

I was expecting to like Foxe Tail but man I didn’t expect to love it, and guys do I love it. For the first time in a long time I am tempted to read books in a series back to back (my schedule won’t allow it) but I am thinking of breaking all the rules and buying them all and reading it over wine.
Skyler Foxe has fulfilled his dream of being a teacher in the town he grew up. He got a job at his old high school (which is like a dream come true) so life couldn’t be more perfect. Too bad he’s gay and has to keep that part of his life a secret, and too bad there’s a flamboyant trick outside beating the shit out of his car with a baseball bat. If that doesn’t out him, then he’s one lucky SOB. Needing a little time to unwind (and perhaps a nice hard fuc…) you get my point. Skyler decides to hit the club with his best friend Sidney who happens to be detective. While getting some fresh air Skyler discovers the body of young man, and opens a whole can of worms.
Suddenly Skyler is caught in the midst of murder investigation, and he wants to figure out who that killer is. Because said murderer has made it personal by shooting at him and his friends. As much as Skyler thinks he’s some sort of Sherlock Holmes, he needs to realize that he’s more the Pink Panther type of guy, and should leave it all up to the professionals but Skyler isn’t known for his listening skills or being smart skills. Factor in the weirdness going on at the high school and he has crazy coming from both sides.
There is just so much to love about this book, just so freaking much. I think my top is Skyler’s friends the S.F.C (The Skyler Fuck Club) his previous lovers turned best-friends even the crazy car bashing trick. They all have so much personality and never once felt like character filler. The budding romance between two of Skylers students was so awesomely sweet. I think he really shined as a teacher/person with the handling of his students. Just so much happening, this means there is so much to love.
Foxe Tail can’t be called a romance yet, but hopefully that is where the series is leading in the future. Skyler is getting his slut on just a little too much; then again he’s young and hasn’t found the one person he wants to be with. For a teacher, he never seems to take his work home with him, dude clubs just a little too much. I believe those things sort of irked me but not enough for me to dislike his character.
Overall, I really loved reading this book. It was so entertaining, fun, and the writing is awesome. I can’t wait to read more.
Should You Read It? One word: YES, so freaking awesome and so much fun. I am totally surprised I didn’t come across this one on my own, there should be a lot of buzz about this series, cus it just became crack for my soul.(less)

TJ Klune is awesome wrapped in crazy, regurgitated as spectacular. Tell Me It's Real will most definitely be in my fave books of 2013, I laughed, cried, I laughed while crying, and most of all I fell in love with all the characters.
From the book starts you just know that you are in for some greatness and some crazy. If you have read and loved the Bear, Otter, and Kid series, then you know TJ Klune is a downright genius with words and giving you the feels. Meet Paul Auster, he's a little on the chub side (just a little), he has a two legged dog called Wheels, and his best friend Sandy who has a drag queen alter ego called Helena. For Paul, life is pretty much a simple things. Yes, he could do with going out a bit more, and maybe a boyfriend would be nice but no one wants his stocky physique and his no brain to mouth filter. Why even bother when he's been dealt the same card all his life, overlooked for how he looks, and ignored by anyone he's been interested in. Things aren't all bad in his Paul's life, his family is crazy but they love and accept him for who he is, and maybe there is someone out there for him but he's not willing to take that chance and get hurt in the end.
Until, a night at the club watching his Helena perform turns into the first night that a sexy jock sends him a drink (this must be some sort of joke) and he then spits said drink in sexy jocks head. To make matters worse, it’s his birthday and that bitch Helena has called him up on stage (their friendship is officially dead) but he does get a nicer look at the jock, but seriously he can't really be interested in Paul. Then comes Vince, sexy jock and so head over heels for Paul that it will melt your heart. Paul thinks Vince interest must be a joke, but destiny gives him no choice but to face Vince’s interest head on, and that where things get interesting all kinds of fun.
Seriously, this book is made of awesmazing. As I said, I laughed (out loud scaring my kids and looking all types of crazy) and I continued to laugh till the very end of the book. Mr Klune took a classic trope, and elevated it to another level, causing feelings of happy. What also makes this book special is that both Paul and Vince are relatable characters (just a little less crazy when it comes to Paul or maybe if you're like me it’s the perfect amount). With all his inane chatter and goings on, you could easily put yourself in Paul's shoes (Unless shit has been perfect for you, your entire life then in that case move on ahead). These characters are imperfect, charming, and they will steal a whole lot of your heart.
Which brings me to the dialogue, there is some questionable content, but I am not easily offenced (once again this is my word). SEX FACE >_< pretty much made everything alright in my book. Yes, the editing could have been done with some cleaner delivery (but don't take my word for that, cus I suck at grammar and stuff) and I kept wondering about all the vagina talk but when it comes to the vagina I have something to say....
As a proud owner of a vagina, I kinda think they're pretty cool. Yes, sometimes it can do some questionable things and I often think to myself "what the heck are you up to now?" but it’s the giver of life. And if a human head weighs 8 pounds, then guess what people vaginas push out that type of weight and some. So are gay men really afraid of the vagina? If yes, then duded guess what you came out of one (unless you came from a c-section) so that means there will always be one with your name on it. So if by any chance you get called a vagina, remember this, they give life and that’s where all the magic happens (sometimes) and there aren’t that many flaps but plenty of holes.
Tell Me It's Real, is as real as it gets. Giving the underdogs a voice, because we're not all model thin, we don't always say and do the right things, and because what you have on the inside is what matters most. Nothing wrong with wanting you ten pack abs, or eating healthily or not eating healthily, but the very core of who you are is what prevails. Paul & Vince could easily be me or you.
Should You Read It? Are you even considering not to? Because if you are, I have two words for you SEX FACE >_< or maybe BLOWJOB FACE *O* *o* *0* cus dicks come in all sizes :D(less)
