I loved the characters, but they seemed too much like the ones in the Moral Instruments. This did get boring after a while, but I still liked it, and while continue on reading books in this series. One thing I liked though, was the whole idea of the robots with demon energy. That was cool, and it kept me interested....more

I had to return this to the library, so I didn't get very far, but from the parts I read I would probably rate it about 3.5/5. It was interesting, funny and I loved how the characters were all dumb and clueless, and it was just hilarious. :) The only part I didn't like is how it got boring in parts and made me not want to read it. I loved how the book used a lot of interesting and descriptive words. It was a fun, good read. :)...more

I didn't like it that much, but thought it was okay-ish. :/ The main character, Gillain, annoyed me a lot. She got on my nerves constantly. Angel annoyed me to.. he was always in her head and I was screaming 'Leave the girl alone! Let her be herself!' *sigh* -.- And the boy, David, didn't have much of a personality... he wasn't really a stand out for me. I think their relationship was a lie for some reason.. because it wassn't really Gillian most of the time.. it was Angel, instead. People probably disagree with me on that, but oh well.
The Chosen: The one was by far the best. I absolutely loved it. :3 Rashel was totally awesome and kinda reminded me of Rose from Vampire Academy. She had that kinda cool personality. Quinn was awesome too and I really wanted him to be in more though. I loved his personality but I wanted to know more about him. And it was really sad about Dove.I loved their relationship, and the whole plot. It was fast paced and kept me wanting to turn pages. I loved it all.
Soulmate: Soulmate was cute. I like Hannah and her personality. I thought the start was pretty funny. And I thought it was cool how she kept coming back and the parts were she was Hanna of the tree rivers. That was cool. I thought Paul was funny, too and I wished there was more of him in it. Thierry was interesting... but wasn't a standout for me. I wanted to know more with this story though: Why did she keep coming back? Was it because he had killed her the first time? It left me with a lot of questions. But overall, I really enjoyed it. The plot, the characters, everything.
I like this book better than the first one, and can't wait to read the third. :) And I'll give this 5 stars, because I loved it, and because of Chosen. ^^ ...more

I like the first book. It was pretty good. I liked the main character, Poppy. I think she was the most developed out of all the female characters in this book. She had more of a personality. I liked how she was so lively and happy all the time. :) I liked James too. He sounded pretty cuute and I loved how much he cared for Poppy. I feel sorta weird about their relationship though. I think it wasn't developed all that well. I wanted to know who close of friends they were and how their friendship was like. But overall, I really enjoyed it.
Daughters of Darkness:
This was probably my least favourite out of the book. But it's not bad at all though; just a bit boring in parts. The best thing about it, was of course: ASH! He was my favourite out of all the male characters in this book. He was just awesome as & had a great sense of humor. Mary-Lynette just annoyed me a little, but I thought their relationship was cute. :)
This was probably my fave. It was always interesting, kept you turning pages, and the characters were lovable too. Eric was awesome, but sometimes just a tad annoying, but he was so sweet in some parts. It made me say 'aww!' Blaise was cool. ^^ Thea was pretty cool too. I just loved the whole idea of it, and the plot. And how Blaise tricked them in the end to make them think Thea had lost her powers. The only part I didn't like was when they found the body; when a picture came into my mind it was just... gross. *shudders* But other than that, I absolutely loved it.
So overall, I really recommend this book & I'm looking forward to reading the others....more

And as much as I wanted to like it, I just couldn't. The character's didn't stand out much, the plot was boring, and everything was just. . . boring.
But I have to admit the whole idea of it was unique and I like the whole idea of there being specials/pretties/uglies etc, but that's the only reason I gave it two stars.
Although I didn't enjoy this book, I am still going to read Pretties and hope that that one is at least a little better....more
Haunted Love: A pretty good start to the book. It was kinda weird and freaky, but I like it.
Amber Smoke: This reminded me a lot of the House of NightHaunted Love: A pretty good start to the book. It was kinda weird and freaky, but I like it.
Amber Smoke: This reminded me a lot of the House of Night books. The girl reminds me so much of Zoey that it's not funny. So, being like Zoey, this character really annoyed me.
Dead Man Stalking: I really like this one. It kept me reading, and I wanted to know what happened. But if this girl called Claire was in it more, it would've been more interesting and there would've been more drama. ;D
Table Manners: Eh, it was alright; not the best. I didn't like how people talked in this... to me it seemed kinda.. I don't know... fake.
Blue Moon: My favourite by far. It was very interesting and awesome. This was by the wonderful, Richelle Mead. And of course, like all her other books I've read, this was fantastic.
Changed: This confused me.. a LOT. At first, the author talk of a person called 'Eli' and I started to think this Eli person was a girl... but then, half way through it says 'he'. Eli is supposedly gay, but in the end he kisses a girl... so, I don't get it, is he gay or not? :S
Binge: This was alright. The guy seemed sweet in this... I was pretty sad when he died.
