A huge thanks to Jaz for allowing me to review his second novel. I truely loved Sunrise at Sunset and was really excited when I finally got this through my door. I could have kissed my postman. And I was not disappointed at all.
Set just a little after the events in book 1 we see Kat and Caleb trying to get their lives back on track. However, soon Caleb discovers the secrets that Kat has been hiding and he is finding life even harder to trust. With the help of Paige though they soon patch things up and escape to England. Things seem to be working out great for our couple but not is all as they appear in England and soon they find themselves in danger yet again.
So its no secret how much I love this first book and its mainly due to the wonderful strong characters. Kat is a strong willed bad assed Alpha Vampires, yet she seems to have softened a little more from the previous novel. Caleb, who was quite shy in the first book has really grown. He is more out going and just an overall stronger character. The two of them together is just wonderful. They are made for each other. Clearly in love and yet its not an overally romantic, sickly kind of love. Even when they are fighting they still adore each other. The big plus for me was the return of the favourite character, Paige Turner (and yes that still makes me giggle) I just love Paige. She is so cute and yet kind of scary. Her and Caleb's friendship is very interesting and they way they act around each other is sometimes so playful and sweet its almost childlike.
A Blood London Sunset is the kind of story that you can just lose yourself in. Its action packed and full of suspense and witty banter that its hard not to drawn into it. Even though the title is suggests that its going to mainly set in London, don't get to see London until about two thirds of a way in. Although I was so enchanted with the story that I honestly didn't even notice because Jaz has a way to building up and story and then just BAM the main event just hits you and its just plain awesome!!
If you love your urban fantasy with a fast paced, action packed story then please read this series. And support Jaz who is a wonderful and talent Indie author.(less)

Last Breath is the 11th book in the Morganville Vampire Series. It follows Claire and the gang tacking their everyday drama, vampires, love. As well as tacking a new evil that has crawled up into town and is threating to destroyed everything that Amelie has work so hard to built. And it's up to Clare to save the day but will she managed to defeat it?
Sorry for the lack of good description, trying so hard not to spoil things from this book and previous.
Yeah, it rocked!!! Morganville is probably my favourite YA vampire series ever! It really is. I have been waiting not so patiently for this book and when it turned up from the publisher I squeak, like proper fan girl squeaked.
If you have read my previous reviews for this series, you all know how much I adore the characters in this series. Claire, the brainy, yet tough girl who actually holds the group together. Shane (oh Shane) the tough, bad boy with a violent temper but is super sweet. Eve, the happy kickass goth chick and Michael, our resident vampire! Together the are best friends and take on the world. I love everyone of them. And of course, there are many more characters and all play very very important roles in the story. But my fave, my man! The Crazy, Creep, Insane and down right sexy Myrnin. Oh yeah, I love me some crazy vampires in bunny slippers. He is back and better than ever because we see a different side to him. A caring and loving side to him that broke my heart. :(
Last Breath is like most of the book, explosive. It's packed full of action. Usually in YA, it's love that is the big thing in books. And even though romance is in this book there is a lot more action. It's fast paced and thrilling. It keeps you guessing. And new evil bad guy and OMG, So freaking amazing! Unique to say the least and kinda creepy and gross but fantastic. The only thing that kinda bugged me was the POV changes. I am not a big fan of too many POV changes in my books and even though with Rachel's talent she manages it effortlessly, it kind of annoyed me that with some of the changes it went from third person to first. Although, I didn't annoying me enough to rate it under 5 stars because the plot was superb.
Now to wait for book 12, yes there is a book 12 woohoo. Are we excited? I know I am. If you haven't read this book or even started this series. Why not? Go Forth and read. You are missing out on some serious nail biting stuff and hot guys. hehe(less)
Seriously, Lola and the Boy Next Door was just the right book that I needed. Lately I haven't been able to get into any book I pick up. However, when I started this I was glued. It's a worthly companion novel to Anna and the French Kiss.
Lola and the Boy Next Door is about Lola a teenage girl with big plans to become a costume designer. Everything in her life is some what perfect. She has great parents, a wonderful best friend and an older boyfriend who is in a band. However, Lola world is tore apart when the Bell Twins moved back next door. And everything that Lola felt for Cricket Bell is flooding back.
What can I say? No, Seriously what can I even say? After reading Anna and the French Kiss and loving it. My expectations were very very high, And my god they were meet I was not disappointed at all!! These are the types of stories that are light reads that make you fall in love with the characters.
Lola is one of those main characters who is easy to connect with. She has flaws, oh yes major flaws, like putting her idiot boyfriend before her friends. Lying to her parents, leading poor Cricket along. However, it's these flaws that make her wonderful to read because she is a realistic character. And I loved her. She is so unique with quirky fashion style that really makes her stand out. She adores her parents, Nathan and Andy. I really like that. They are such a great, loving family. Now as I said she is flawed, she doesn't always make the right descision. Like her sleeze of a boyfriend Max, argh I hated that guy. He is so creepy and I just wanted to punch him and shake Lola to make her see sense.
Everything changes for Lola when the Bell family move back next door. Cricket and Calliope Bell, Twins who used to be friends with Lola. Calliope comes across as a major Bitch and I honestly didn't like her all that much. BUT Cricket, oh dear god. Cricket, so sweet and lovely. I want a Cricket!!! He is one of the boys that your parents would love, one that would treat you good, one that you really would fall in love. And yes, I did. I fell bad!
Lola and the Boy Next Door just flows perfectly. It keeps your attention and doesn't let it go. Stephanie has yet again took a simple story with teenagers, wrong descisions, and falling in love and turns it into something wonderful and magical that turned me into mush lol.
And as an added bonus Anna and St. Clair from Anna and the french are in this book as well. I actually squealed when they make their first appearance. I thought it was perfect to include them into the book. It gives it that something extra.
So overall, if you haven't guess it I loved loved loved this book. I laughed, cried and gushed over this book it was sooooooooo gooooood!!!!! I beg you please go read it. It's the companion novel to Anna and the French Kiss and even though you don't really need to read Anna before I suggest you do because these books are amazing. And Stephanie has become one of those authors that I will read her books without even reading up on them because she is such a talented writer.
Now I may actually just die having to wait until Fall 2012 for the next book, Isla and the Happily Ever After. (less)

And I am mad at myself for only now reading it because I adored it. It was cute, quick and such a fun read. And my first Mermaid book and it certainly won't be my last.
Forgive My Fins is about Lily, half human, half Mermaid. She has been living on land for three years and is head over heals in love with Brody. Lily wants to spend her life with Brody and on the night that she plans to tell him her secret. Things don't go to plan. Quince, her neighbour and the boy who has been teasing her for three years kisses her and everything Lily hope for is hanging by the thread and her happily ever after is threatened because when Mermaids kiss they bond and if her father, the King of Thalassinia doesn't approve a separation Lily will be bonded with Quince for the rest of their lifes.
Omg!!! I seriously just adored this little gem. It was everything I hope it would. I heard so many people rave about this series and when that happens I usually end up not liking the book. However, I didn't like this, I feel completely in love with it. The characters, the setting, the story line, just everything was fantastic.
Lily is one of those characters who are amazing from page one. In a way I think we can all relate to her because here she is totally crushing on a boy who has no idea how she feels. Come on, haven't we all been there? The boy in question is Brody. Popular and good looking but I personally didn't like him. He wasn't worthy of Lily's affection. However, there Quince. Who is totally swoon worthy and make me weak. Because its as clear as day how he feels about Lily. The chemistry between is what makes they story. Lily who is so shy around Brody seems to come alive around Quince. He irritates her to end and the banter between them is so funny.
The plot is very simple and you know exactly what is going to happen start away but it doesn't stop you being totally enchanted by the story. Tera Lynn Childs has create something so magical with Forgive My Fins. Her description of Thalassinia really makes you feel like you are there, swimming through the kingdom and among these mythological aquatic creature.
I highly recommend you go read this if you like Mermaids. And if you are wanting a cute, fun and quick read. I devoured this within a few hours. Starting around 1am and I stayed up until 5am because I simply couldn't put this wonderful book down. (less)

I adore these books and Surrender was nothing short of amazing. It's fast paced, action packed with just the right amount of romance that keep me hooked.
Now usually here is where I do a small plot summary but I feel if I do it would end up spoiling the whole series. So I'm leaving it out. If you have read my previous reviews on this series you already know my feelings towards the main character. I think Emma is one of best female characters I've read about in a long time. She is brave, witty and loyal to her friends. Her relationship with Bennett is a rocky one but they are so cute together and in surrender there is a few laugh out load, cringe worthy moments between them.
Deception and Betrayal left a lot of questions hanging in the air with a lot of mystery around some characters and thankfully everything is answered in Surrender. The story that started in Deception comes to a close with dramatic effect and characters that seriously kick ass. I couldn't put the book down even though I didn't want the book to finish the ending was absolutely perfect.
Lee Nichols has create such an amazing series. I haven't read many ghost stories but this is for sure one of my favourites. It's hard not to get sucks into the world of ghostkeepers. There is highs and lows like any series out there. But this book, Surrender 100% perfect. I can't find a fault with it at all.
Sorry if my review is rambling and may not make sense. I just can't really express into words just how much I loved this book. I laughed and cried (oh boy did I cry) I rooted for characters. I invested so much in this book that I felt like I was part of it. That Emma and her gang of friends were my friends. And for an author to be able to create it is something very special.
If you haven't yet started this series please go and try it. It's amazing, quick and full of ghostly action. I can't wait to read more of Lee's work and hope maybe one day there will be more of the ghostkeeper world in the future. (less)

Holy F**k!!! Holy Hell, OMG....just oh my f**k.....Freaking WOW!!!!! - That pretty much sums up on my feelings and reaction to Unravelling Oliver.
I have never really thought the opening sentence of a book was enough to have me hooked. Sure there are books with pretty amazing openings but it usually takes more than that to have my attention. Until I read Unravelling Oliver. "I expected more of a reaction the first time I hit her."
Upon reading that I was 100% hooked onto this story. It is a shocking and slightly disturbing opening line that had me captivated. Unravelling Oliver is a tough one to describe without giving spoilers and I am going to try my hardest to keep this spoiler free because it is something you just have to read and discover for yourself.

I am a massive fan of the TV show but never read the original novel. After reading The Carrie Diaries I was really excited to read Summer and the City and it does not disappoint at all.
Summer and the City follows Carrie as she embarks on her adventures in The Big Apple. She starts in her writing program and make new and exciting friends. Carrie is trying to find her feet and wants to make her short time in New York a success. However, life is hard and nothing is ever easy for Carrie.
What a fantastic sequel. Carrie matures alot in the story and we get a glimpse of the Carrie that she is going to become. She is still her funny, quirky self and I love her. Being set in the 80s its a very different life to how life is now. I love that we are introduced to so many new characters and also for fans of the original book and show we see the relationships form between Carrie, Samantha and Miranda. Now because I havent read the original book I do get a little confused reading these books as I know they story is different from the Show so some of the characters stories such as Miranda is different. However, Miranda and Samantha are still quite similar that I just feel in love with them.
This is really a coming of age story for Carrie. We see her grow from a country girl to a city girl. With Candace skillful writing we are plunged in to the story and really feel like we are there by Carrie side and experiencing everything she is put through.
I'm not sure if this is better than book 1 or not. They are both quite different I think I love them equally. And just like book 1 I love the ending the best. And if you read the book you will know why I love the ending to both books. I was grinning like a cheshire cat at this ending. It was perfect and makes me really want book 3 like yesterday(less)
We have all been there right? Sent that text without re-reading what it said and then end up in a very embarrassing situation? Yip of course anyone with a smartphone has due to that pesky Autocorrect feature (Sweep Texting in the UK).
Damn You Autocorrect is a website that I am sure everyone has been. The text fails are simply hilarious and if you have been on it Where have you been hiding? Check it out trust me it totally worth it. www.damnyouautocorrect.com
The Creator of said website bring some of the best texts from the website along with some new ones that hadnt been seen before and put them into this fantastic little book. It's packed with hilarious texts and I mean "I almost wet my pants" hilarious. Split into parts you have funny and awkward texts between friends, colleagues, and my favourite part - Texts between Parents and their Kids. OMG It just too funny.
Aswell as the all the texts right at the start of the book Jillian tells the readers why she set up the website, what is autocorrect and a page full of common autocorrection that your phone does LOL.
Damn You Autocorrect is just amazingly funny and expectionally cringworthy LOL. It's a great read if you need cheering up and even though the website has tons of the embarrassing texts, the book is great to have for those nights you just need a quick laugh and easy to share with those who don't really use the internet that much.
So do I recommend this book? HELL YEAH!!! LOL. I sat last night trying to sleeping but then I would remember a text from the book and end up in stitches. However, alot of the rude and crude texts in the book so probably not suitable for young readers.
WARNING: Read at your own risk, side splitting funny and laughing so hard you might pee your pants LOL!!!!(less)
A massive thank you to Jamie for letting me review a PDF Arc copy of this book. I was blown away yet again by the story just like I was blown away with Insight.
Embody is the second novel in the Insight Series and takes place just shortly after Book 1 finished. Willow and Landan are enjoying the time together until they are told that Drake is back and that they must prepare for the next trial. With the revelation of this new trial it sees Willow and Landan learning new abilities and teach others aswell.
Willow and Landan are just wonderful to read. They are just this perfect couple that just fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. They are both very strong willed characters and they would do anything to protect each other as well as those they love. And even though I should have been rooting for them I was really drawn to Drake. I think its the bad boy image (yes I'm sucker for a bad boy). Drake has always believed that Willow was his and we find out something suprising about Drake and Willow in the installent. None of these characters are my favourite though. I love little Libby and I love her bound with Preston. They are both so mature for their age and have truely astonishing abilities.
Jamie has yet again created a wonderful and unique story that will take you through all the emotions. This is the genius of a talented story teller. The world that has been create is interesting and I felt like I was there along side with the characters, going through the events at the their side.
This series is going to be massive hit I think and it has something for everyone, love, danger, adventure. I suggest if you haven't read the first book please pick it up now! You will sure to get pulled into this enchanting series and with the ending of each book will leave you begging for more.

Julie Cassar has done it yet again. I swear this woman can do no wrong!!! She has created yet another awesome story in the Ruby Blue series. And an explosive conclusion to Ruby’s story!!! I have been a weird reading slump (as most of you will know if you follow me on twitter or facebook lol) so I read this quite slowly so I could enjoy and savor the story because this is the last book in one of my favourite series and I wanted it to last as long as I could.
I have been sitting for a maybe 3/4 days trying to do this review and I have come to the conclusion that it probably isn't going to happen. I adore this book so much that I actually can't form the words to give this the type of review it deserves. Now this doesn't happen to me that often. Usually when I am in love with a book I can gush forever. But this completely blew me away that I have no word!! However, here goes.
Shatter Me is about Juliette a 17 year old girl who has a power that if she touches someone they could die. She has been locked up for 264 days. With no human contact, until one day she gets cellmate; Adam who has a hidden secret. And Juliette's life is turned upside down as The Reestablishment want to her weapon.
The plot, the setting, the characters, the cover!. OMG. I feel in love straight away with the story that Tahereh Mafi has created. The wrting style does take a bit getting used to as its quite different but brilliant! Juliette has such an unique voice that really makes her stand out against your typical YA heroine. She is fragile yet very fierce when she needs to be. I adore her. Trying to describe her is hard without giving away spoilers but she reminds of Rogue for Xmen with the curse power she has. When we are introduced to Adam, her cellmate. Once again I fell in love. Especially the more the story continues and the more we learn about him and his past.
Shatter Me really did lived up to my expectations and more. The plot is totally different and quite dark at times which I find fantastic. I love my books dark.
YA Dystopian is my thing just now, and even though I haven't read many of them, Shatter Me is probably in my top 5 because it is so unique and fast paced and thrilling that I just couldn't put this book down. Tahereh Mafi has created a flawless debut that is so beautifully written it will completely mesmerize the readers from start to finish. And no doubt blow you away and leave you speechless like me!
Let me just start with thanking the wonderful Patricia Williams for asking me to review this ebook. I had never heard of it before so when I read the description I knew I was going to at least like it. I didn't think I would fall head over heals in love with this superb Young Adult Sci-FI.
Wasteland follows Becca as she is trying to recover from a car accident that she caused a few month ago. She tries to stay invisible and just get through school. However, when the handsome and mysterious Luke starts at her school, her world will never be the same again.
Becca is one of those rare characters that you can like from start to finish. Some characters in books you can go off them throughout the story. However, with Becca she is just so likeable it hard not to like her. At the start of the story she is very shy and just wants to stay invisible but when she meets Luke she starts to come out of her shell and we see that she is a very strong teen who doesn't shy away from really hard and important tasks. Luke is introduced a little into the story (usually the Luke interest is there from the very start) Luke is very sweet, funny and quite complex. I really like the relationship that developed between Becca and Luke. Becca didn't like Luke at first and it not until about half way through that she realises she might. I thought it was clear that Luke liked Becca very early on.
The story is flows just perfectly. Its very quick read that will captivate you and leave you needing the next installement like yesterday. I read it over two nights. I would have finished in the first night. However, I kinda needed to sleep. lol.
So do I recommend that book? HELL YEAH! If you like Young Adult books that has an intense story and likeable characters then this is the book for you. (less)
I had never heard of this book at all. I seen it on netgalley and it was the cover the caught my attentions. Its very striking with the black background and the image of the girl and the exploding lamp. I am so happy that my request to review was accepted as I devoured this book with just a few days (would have been sooner if life hadn't gotten in the way lol)
Spellbound follows the life of Emma, who has suffered a horrible life in the past few years. Her twin Ethan dies and a year later a mother dies. Leaving Emma in the care of her stepfather. Who is a drunk and ends up nearly killing Emma in a car accident. This leads to Emma moving in with her Aunt Christine and enrolling is Vincent Academy in New York. Soon Emma discovered the mystery behind her necklace and faces a hard choice that could prove deadly.
WOW!! yes just WOW. Review finished. Lol.
I honestly wasn't expecting much from this novel. I thought it sounded good and it was so much more. Emma is one of those characters who you just love. She is been through so much in her live and it only seems to make her stronger. She starts a fresh at her new school where she decides not to tell people about her past. I totally understand why she would do this. I think I would do the same. As soon as she starts school she ends up on Kristins hate but she stands her ground and just an overall strong willed main character. She is also very sweet and funny at times. I adored that relationship she had with Brendan. Brendan was sometimes really annoying but most of the time he was too cute for words. The secondary cast of characters in this are also wonderful . Some I loved and of course some I hated. You need a character to hate in books. Well I actually had two in this. Anthony and Kristin. Seriously those two go right on my nerves from there first appearance. Yet they were great to read. :)
Spellbound is the type of story with just draws you from the start and you will not put the book down until you are finished. Cara has manage to spin a wonderful and fascinating story that will be enjoyed by young and old. She also creates a intriguing back story to the necklace that is truely enchanting that will leave you wanting to know about the story.
As far as I know this is a stand alone novel. However, the ending is done in such a way that there could be another story maybe from another characters point of view. I really hope so as I just loved this story and really want to read more about the characters.(less)

The Virals series is about Tory, Tempe Brennons Great Niece, who after her mother was killed is sent to life with her father Charleston. In book one she befriends three teenage boys and they all just clicked. However, they contract a parvovirus that gives them new strange powers. Almost Wolf like senses and thus bonding them into a pack!
In Seizure, Tory and the boy are still trying to figure out how to work their powers and what they do with them. They are closes than ever, however, due ot college the lack funding Loggerhead Island Research Institute is being forced to close down and they are faced with the possibilities that they will all be split up. Tory comes up with a plan to to go on a crazy treasure hunt of the famous pirate Anne Bonny to try and save Loggerhead and friends from being separated. However, they soon discover that they aren't they only ones after the buried treasure. "Can the Virals survive their toughest Challenge yet?" - Cover tagline.
What an fantastic thrill ride of the book this was. OMG, Kathy Reichs had be glued from page one like I knew she would. I have missed the Virals. They are such a refreshing change of characters that are in YA just now. They are all smart kids and would stop at nothing to protect themselves and there little world, even if it means almost getting killed. Tory is only 14 year old and they is no doubt that she is the pack leader. They boys; Ben, Hi and Shelton all look up to her and she her as their Alpha. Even though at times they all think she is insane coming up with crazy ideals but they will follow her to no end. All three boys bring something different that just makes the group likable. They al stand up for each other and all love each other. Hi is probably my favourite, he gets some really good funny lines. However, Shelton got to shine in the books. And he gets the best and funniest quote in the book:
"You'll start talking, and pretty soon we'll all start nodding, and then the next thing you know, I'm hang gliding off the Eiffel Tower at night, being chased by ninja vampires"
So yeah, I adore them. They are probably becoming my favourite characters in a YA series. :)
Now they story itself? well, what can I say that can do this wonderful book any justice? Probably nothing, It was just so freaking AMAZING. Yeah, Amazing!!! Lately, it's been taking something really special for to me fall in love with book. And this has. I think it was the fresh and unique (to me ) plot. Hunting down pirates treasure in a nail biting treasure hunt. I was loving every minutes of it. There wasn't ever a dull moment. Between trying to work out the clues to running for lifes, I was gripping to the edge of my seat. The thing that I really did love was at some scenes in the book it had a Goonies feel to it and I love the goonies. It's full of twists and turns and the mystery of who the bad guys are.
Seizure feels more of a companion to Virals as they are completely different. I would recommend reading Virals first though for two reasons. One: to get to know the characters better and how they become "Virals" and Two: because its bloody amazing as well!!!
I am now really looking forward to seeing what new dangers and adventures Kathy takes are young characters on next, if it's anything like Book 1 and 2 then its going to be Epic!!!
I want to start with the cover of this book. The kindle Edition I have has the old US cover but now the US cover has changed to match the UK cover. Which I am so glad it has. The cover is simply beautiful. The pattern is so pretty and I love how it intertwines around Kate's arms. And of course the distance image of the Effel Tower wonderful.
On to the story. Die for Me really is a just a wonderful read. I was hooked from start to finish. There actually wasn't a part I didn't like. Usually there is always something I didn't like but not here. I just loved loved loved it.
Die for Me is a story about Kate, who comes from America with her sister after a tragic accident, to live with her grandparents in Paris. Soon she meets Vincent, a mysterious and very sexy young man. Kate is attracted to him straight away and is soon pludge into the dark and dangerous world of the Revenants.
I adored Kate, she is so sweet and nice and you really feel for her after all she has been through. When she meets Vincents she starts to open up and we get a proper glimpse into her life. She is a wonderful Protagonist, she is strong willed and doesn't shy away from the dangers that are thrown at her. Vincent, well I couldn't help but fall for him. I think it was a french thing Lol.
Amy Plum has created a flawless debut of novel about Zombies but with a very different twist and a wonderful mythology behind it. And a world that will suck you in and leave you begging for more. If you like your supernatural romance novels that are exciting, fresh and unique then this is the book for you. And if you are like me and love anything and everything to do with the beautiful city of Paris you will love this.
Thank you Netgalley for providing me with a free Arc Copy.

The Mistress, OMG I have been trying to write this review days and I swear it was just so god damn delicious that I have no words that can possibly even begin to describe this sexy read. So you will have to put up with my gushing over the book.
To say this book was outstanding doesn't even begin to cover it. The Mistress is by far one of the best books I have ever read. I swear, I 100% loved it. I knew I was going to love it of course. Why? Well Tiffany Reisz is my favourite erotica fiction author and in my top five favourite authors of all time. The Original Sinners series is perfection. And they get better with each book. So this does not disappoint at all.
This is the final installment in the First Original Sinners Quartet - The Red Years. When I first started reading this series I was drawn into the story. I didn't love the first book though. I only gave it 3 stars but with each book Tiffany manages to create something dark, twisted, sexy and dangerous. Every book getting better than the previous. Now I wasn't sure if I was going to love this more the "The Prince" because well I think it was the book that made me fall in love with Kingsley and Soren. But Tiffany Reisz is just a genius and made me fall in love all over again and yes this is probably the best book by far.
We learn so much more about the characters in this installment. We learn secrets and truths that broke my heart. Nora is still a feisty and strong woman even when she is being help captive. To stay alive she is forced to tell stories of her past sexual encounters. Which I have to say are freaking hot!!! I blushed a lot! During these stories I found myself getting a better insight into the relationship between the characters. Especially Nora, Soren and Kingsley. I totally got them. They live in this world of Kink but in all honestly I don't think I have ever read anything like these characters. They all love each other in their own way. It's beautiful. I am not that big on lovey dovey romance. Never have been, never will be. So maybe that is why I feel like I get their romance, their love for each other. And then was Wesley, oh sweet Wesley. So Vanilla. He is so protective of Nora. And she truly does love him. I always like Wesley from book one.
These book are not for the faint hearted. I think you either love them or hate them. And reading others reviews that seems to be the case. I personally love them but I think everyone knows that already lol. Even Tiffany knows how much I adore these books. It has the perfect package for me. Believable characters, plenty to sexy times and a gritty and dark plot that will take you on one hell of an emotional roller-coaster. I read this on my kindle and for the last 20% of the book all I did was cry. I was a blubbering mess. My heart, my mind and my very soul was all over the place trying read it. It was just so crazy good I though I was going to die. I have never felt so connected to characters. By the end I felt like I was saying goodbye to old friends. And I am not going to lie either I miss that Sadistic Priest Soren. I don't know what it says about me that I want my own Soren.....but I do. I actually think I am in love with a fiction character.
I CAN NOT recommend these books enough!!!!! If you like your erotica fiction that is dark, gritty, sexy but with a freaking awesome plot that is (as is says on the cover) thrilling, passionate an provocative then these are for you!!! Usually I would say if you liked fifty shades you will love this. But in all honestly, even though I loved Fifty and it was gateway book to erotica, The Original Sinners is on a another level. Hell it makes Fifty seems very like a lovey dovey romance lol. These set the bar on what makes a good kinky read for me. Tiffany Reisz I want to marry your mind!!! You are a genius. I can't wait to the second The Original Sinner Quartet - The Red Years!!! (less)
Dracula is probably the most famous vampire of all time. And alway will be. Everyone has heard of Dracula. Even if they haven't read the book or watch any of movies we all know him. As a vampire obsessed female I really should have read this long long ago. However, it wasn't until a few years ago that I eventually read it. I have read it that much my first copy is in tatters.
The story of Dracula is told through letters, journel entries and newspaper clippings. I don't really need to go into much detail about the storyline of Dracula. As we all know the basic story. Jonathan travels to Transylvania to meet Dracula and in the process is pulled into a world of vampires. Dracula travels to England and from there all hell break lose.
Dracula is what a vampire is meant to be. Monsterous!. I know I love all types of Vampires. However, for me Dracula is THE Vampire. Bram Stoker has created a creature so dark and scary that send shivers up and down my spine everytime I read the story.
Even though Dracula is evil and all. I still felt for him. Personally I felt all he wanted was to love Mina and have her love him back. So naturally I was rooting for Dracula. (What can I say I like them bad to bone lol)
My only downside to Dracula is the language. The first time I read this novel I gave up because I have always struggled with old English Language. However, that first read I fell in love the story and is one of my favourite novels. And my favourite vampire read of all time. Nothing will ever beat it for. I recommend this to anyone who loves vampires, horror and gothic fiction.
