I like how she uses her imagination to retell the classics. Towering for example is a retell of Rapunzel… And I liked it.
Rachel, AKA Rapunzel had lived a secluded life for as long as she can remember. Yet there is something about her that’s unique. Wyatt is a young man who’s dealing with a life changing lost and if possible Wyatt wants to go back in time to fixed a wrong that he blames himself for.
But, Fate, the meddling bitch has something else planned for both Rachel and Wyatt.
Flinn’s Towering was full of twist and mystery lace with suspense and humor. It was enduring and it had the purest kind of love. A nice change from adult novels, vamps and shifters... a modern day myth. I enjoyed this journey… and I’m looking forward to your next adventure! Well-done Flinn. (less)

Books two started almost right after the end of book one and with all Heather Killough Walden’s books… the bad guys...Well lets just say they aren’t weak and they are evil to the core. This book shot up my BP and I couldn’t take it yet I kept going back to it! I have read this book twice! The twist was mind blowing, unbelievable! The creativity and the thought put into the writing was utterly wicked. I can’t wait for the conclusion and Secretly Sam is a fitting name indeed! I really liked it… worth my time twice over and then some. (less)

This book was particularly suspenseful and hypnotizing, though incredibly erotic, sexy and lust inducing! I was gripped from the very first page and then some! Sara’s only true love is ART yet Sara is a high school teacher. She’d settled for a career that pays the bills and is pretty much boring… until Ella. Ella is Sara’s her best friend who gifted a wayward key of an abandoned storage unit into Sara’s hands and asks her to go through the content for treasures. Sara did find treasures indeed! A journal! A journal of a woman who turned Sara inside out and woke things up that Sara really can’t put a name to. A journal that absorbed and captivated Sara. Compelled to finding this missing woman, Sara becomes rapt in Rebecca Mason’s shady, stimulating journals. They were enthralling, filled with Rebecca’s thoughts, her feelings and terrors about the men in her life.
If I were you is my first book by Lisa Renee Jones and is sure isn’t my last. This book took me on an erotic journey and the misery and suspense and excitement that surrounded this book was well worth it. This book is about living and not settling, its about control and relinquishing control, is about love and lust … about what some people believe life is about… and most important its about working a mile in someone else’s shoes. It was curiosity at its best. If I were you is a book that could tempt a saint and I was thoroughly tempted (Well… I am not a saint)! …Sniff I loved it! If you are a fan of Fifty Shades Series and The Crossfire series and Finding Anna Series then this book is for you. (less)

A werewolf she loved had attacked Sara years ago. Sara has no wish whatsoever to live with the werewolf pack! They were ferocious and she hated them. So, Bathsheba and Sara had been in hiding… At least until Beau Russell, the leader of the Russell clan came into the script.
LIFE becomes thorny when cougar-shifter, Beau calls up Midnight Liaisons in need of a date after he’d been stood up. Client satisfaction is Midnight Liaisons’ primacy and Beau is clearly not satisfied worst he was about to come into his heating…err…in a week time Beau is going to be in heat. Though its against the rules for humans to date sups, Bathsheba proposes to go out on a date with Beau secretly. However, she had bitten the forbidden apple and there is no going back!
Beauty Dates the Beast has a curious launch. I instantly liked the heroine, Bathsheba however she became off putting because of her too many secrets. I like the hero; he was smart sexy and sizzling just my type and the tension between Beau and Bathsheba were explosive! Beauty Dates the Beast was engaging. I like it. I will read book 2, but not right away.(less)

Brilliantly written, well thought out, amazing research and a love story that would make you desire what the centered characters have! Oh and the humor, the wit… Deborah Harkness is a very good writer! A Discovery of witches is a book about books, yet there are layers and depth to this book that intrigues. This book is the first book in the All Souls Trilogy and the idea is spotlighted upon Diana Bishop, a historian with a secret. Diana mistakenly found a prehistoric text that is also a palimpsest, Ashmole 782. A book with so many enemies and few protectors!
What drew me to this story were the inscrutabilities and ancient texts. As the book’s enigmas took a peculiar turn, I became enthralled in the story and then, the introduction of Matthew Clairmont, an ancient vampire with a long history and many confidences of his own. With Mathew’s introduction, the story turned to romance and the mystery of Ashmole 782.
I liked the amount of care spent on the world building relationship building between Diana and Mathew. There are lodes of details in the book that pull out past elements and contemporary luxuries like diet, wine, leisure, architecture, books and more. I prized the amount of research required to create a well told story… The twist and turns are to die for and the major endgame hasn't even unraveled, yet alone reveal itself. I love it and I loved Harkness’s writing and world building! It was remarkable! I can't wait to start book 2.

I've notice that with singh, there are no words and or phrases that doesn’t mean something in the near futures of planned books. It always makes sense to the point of AWE…
Archangel’s Legion is no different! This book was an enthralling read and I read it in 8 hours… I loved loved it! It had everything! Love, lost, allies, weirdness, creepy (Lijaun), fun and humor, Blue bell and Sparkle!
In this 6th installment, we re-enter the world of the Badass Archangel Raphael and Elena. We see more of their struggles and fears. We understand more of the angel world and how inhumane they think… we understand the pettiness of their actions….
Pulse racing, Heart pounding, teeth grinding! ICE COLD fear! Then… It happened! Whooping!!!! Dancing!!! It was a really good book! However, in the end, I can’t help but wonder if Raphael is a mere Archangel or More? Case in point, He is the only one who made an Angel, also in the end, the surprise twist, called him a certain term…. That we haven't really heard! So then, what is Raphael truly? Could he be a real gOD or Deity Lijaun so wants to covert by will or force? It only makes sense!... I wonder!!! Rest assured that I would keep reading Singh’s work until all is answered!
OH! Great twist in the end! Nalini, YOU almost had me! But it was worth the surprise!!!!! I absolutely, completely loved the book!!! There is more to come… and I think the next installment will be a continuation… This book seems incomplete…yet, satisfying indeed
777… if you know what that signifies… then you would agree that the Archangel of New York…Might be come a god… if he isn’t already!!! (less)
