My Commander is with out a doubt the best book I have read in 2015 so far and take it from me when I say that I don't give out 5 stars easily.
I don't think I have ever laughed so much reading one book in my entire life. The main character Meryn is the most hilarious character I have ever had the pleasure of reading, she is a spunky, sassy, foul mouthed little spit fire all rolled up in the guise of a Nerd! In fact I fell in love with all the characters main and secondary and The Tampon Mission was probably the best chapter in the entire book.
The way I felt while reading this was like sitting and listening to a good friend tell you an unbelievable story that you couldn't even fathom as being true. I only have two small complaints with the book, 1: there were more then a few grammar issues, that could have been picked up with better editing and 2: I thought that the heroine fell for said Hero just a little to fast, I mean 2 days and your in love with the guy... WTH! granted they didn't actually sleep together until the last 80 pages of the book but for me her acceptance was just way to fast.
That being said it in no way, took way from my profound pleasure of reading this book. If you are looking to read something light, fun and hilarious then this is the book for you. I loved it and can't wait to read books 2 and 3 very very soon....more

This is by far the best book of the series that i've read so far and I have finally gotten some answers to some of the nagging questions that have been carried along form the first 2 books. The characters are becoming more complex and some of the scenes are just laugh out loud funny, while others are intense and even managed to make me cry a couple of times.
I can hardly wait to jump into book 4 and I will sorely miss this series when the 5th and final book is published next spring but until then I will continue on with Kylie's adventures and continue to love this series.

The story is a Katie a Texas native who moves to New York in the hopes of making it big in the corporate world, only to be stuck in a dead end job with a horrible boss. Then out of the blue she gets a job offer that after a very bad day at work, she feels that she can't possibly refuse and finds herself sucked into a magical world that even a born and bred New Yorker would have a hard time believing.
As the first novel in Swendson's Katie Chandler series I have to say this was such a fun and funny read. The tone of the book is light and fluffy with just enough quirky characters to keep you interested with tons of magical fun. There is a mild love interest or two that I think over time will be developed in following books that I can't wait to see what happens. There are just to many great characters to pick just a few to talk about but I'm kinda fascinated with the in house wizard Owen who is the shy boy next door type but watch out when you get him mad ;)
All in all this was a great start to a new to me series and I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series in the very near future....more

Book two the the Hollows series was an action packed ride from the first page to the last, and I honestly don't know why it has taken me so long to continue on with this series.
I just love all the characters Ivy, Jenks, Trent and Nick all add a great mix of character relationships that are at times very funny and also very tense. The action was non stop and I found myself reading late into the night will little regard for my work schedule...lol
After not reading this series for about 6 years and picking up book two felt like meeting up with old friends that you haven't seen in awhile and can't remember the reason why you stopped talking to them in the first place. I'm very much looking forward to the next book in the series :)

Kelley ArmstrDate Read:Aug 29, 2012 Rating:5♥♥♥♥♥ Review:This is the second time I've read this book and I've loved it just as much as I did the first time. Kelley Armstrong's writing is so easy to read that you can just fly threw her books like a hot knife through butter.
Her characters are extremely likeable and for being under the age of 18 some of the characters seemed more mature the the adult characters, I have always had a thing for the underdog and Derek's character fits that bill, miss understood and afraid he spends all his time looking out for the others.
This book is chalked full of mystery, suspence and drama with the seeds of a maybe budding romance that I keeps you hooked from page 1 all the way to the end. I love this Trilogy and I can't wait to drive into book 2 for me these books are like crack 1 hit is just never enough ...lol :)

Tammy-Jo is back and in more trouble then ever and her back firing magic isn't helping one little bit. This book takes place one week after the events in the first book and Tammy -Jo is working hard at getting her old job back and her family jewelry that she had to pawn for the money but when a strange man appears on her doorstep with a letter saying she has to participate in a magical challenge she has no chance of winning she finds herself turning to Bryn Lyons for help but that may have just made things 1000 times worse.
I loved this book it was funny and sexy and anything else you can name this book has it. The witty humor and love-able characters make this book a fast read that you will not be able to put down. I so looking forward to the next book int he series Tammy-Jo is just to much fun to miss!...more
