Give Me Forever by Celeste Carrara is a book about SI was given this book as a Read to Review book in exchange for an honest review so here it goes :)
Give Me Forever by Celeste Carrara is a book about Serena a vampire who has just come into her new vampire life after turning 25. A lot of the book deals with the issues that take place between Serena and her Father and Alex a man/vampire who is susposed to be her soulmate.
Although I had hoped that I would love this book, it just fell a little short for me. I think the idea about what happens to vampire children could have been touched on a little more to give the reader more in depth knowledge about that I thought was a very original idea.
Serena even though she was 25 came off a little like a whiny 17 year old who was always doing what her Father said, no matter if she liked it or not, and as always there is the love triangle that, even though has been done to death in a lot of YA novels really shouldn't be done in Adult Romance books. Serena's relationship with Alex is a lot like her relationship with her Father, where I felt she was being treated like a doormat so I just couldn't come to love really any of these characters.
That being said the book was just as OK read for me but has the potential of becoming great if the story line and background events are more developed in future books. This was a 2 star read for me....more

When money runs low the twins are forced to take on a border River to make ends met. Once River shows up strange things begin to happen causing Violet to dig in his past and find out what is really happening in her small town.
Well right off I can say that I was very disappointed with this book. The characters were very one sided and childish in their voice and thinking. For two teens left on their own you would think they would be a little more grown up. The writing style for me was choppy and I found myself reading passages over again just to make since of it.
The story it's self had a lot of promise but I felt like it was kinda just thrown together, I feel with a little more thought and planning this book could have been much better. All in all I didn't like this book and for me 1 star is the highest rating I was willing to give....more
I will try not to gush over this book to much but who am I kidding.... I FREAKING LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF THIS BOOK!!! ok enough of that on to the good I will try not to gush over this book to much but who am I kidding.... I have been reading this series since it came out 3 years ago and to have it be over is not only fulfilling but extremely upsetting. You see I have been involved with these characters since the get go and now that their story is finished I can finally say with 100 percent certainty that this series at least for me is one of my all time favorites and I will know doubt go back and read and re-read these books many times.
There was no shortage of laughter, pain and heart break in this last edition, we see characters we've come to love... die and also be redeemed in light of the terrible things that are happening around them. To say the Jennifer Armentrout is a fantastic writer doesn't really give her the credit she deserves... she has made me love, hate, rage, laugh, and cry and all by doing what she loves the most. I'm sorry the series is over but in away I'm glad that all the things we have been wondering and hoping for have been resolved is such a way that you are left both laughing and crying. Well done Jennifer...Well done!!...more

Nora our main character is returned home from being kidnapped and spends the entirety of the book trying to figure out what happened to her,of course there is danger at every turn and plenty of skeevy characters to keep you guessing as to who did what. Patch our other major player in this story is the darkly handsome character that always keeps you guessing as to what his motives are through out the story but turns out to be sweet and sensitive to what Nora's going through.
I will definately be moving right along to the final book in the series because at this point I have to know what will happen with Patch and Nora's relationship , will they get their happy ever after? I guess I'll just have to keep reading and find out.
First off I going to say that this was the most imaginative re-telling of The Alice in Wonderland story that I have had the pleasure of reading.

The story it's self was told from the point of view Alyssa the descendant of the original Alice who is tasked with a unbelievable mission to put right the wrongs Alice left in Wonderland many years before in the hopes of freeing her Mother from the family curse.
Splintered was a fantastic thrill ride down the rabbit hole into a world that was full of vivid imagery and unforgettable characters that will linger in my mind for some time to come.
So if your looking for something new and just a little different to read this book definitely fits the bill :)...more

Although this one was not my favorite book in the series It still earned 4 out of 5 stars just for the action and character interactions alone, although I'm not completely sure was I didn't love this one as much as the others, I think the plot was just a little to flat for me in this one but it in no way takes away form my love of this series and I will be defiantely continuing on with this series when book 6 is released in 2013.

This is by far the best book of the series that i've read so far and I have finally gotten some answers to some of the nagging questions that have been carried along form the first 2 books. The characters are becoming more complex and some of the scenes are just laugh out loud funny, while others are intense and even managed to make me cry a couple of times.
I can hardly wait to jump into book 4 and I will sorely miss this series when the 5th and final book is published next spring but until then I will continue on with Kylie's adventures and continue to love this series.

The story is about Anna and the four boys that are part of a government experiment. I don't want to say to much more about the plot cause I don't want to give anything away, suffice it to say that this book, for me anyway was fantastic.
I loved all the characters the quiet and mysterious Sam, dark and brooding Nick, the sweet and funny Cas and of course the philosopher that is Trev, these boys together make a formidable group of Altered people, with skills that go beyond the norm.
Anna's part in the story is by far the most interesting and I never for a second would of figured out her roll in it all before MS. Rush divulged that secret.
All in all this was a no holes barred, action adventure story that left me wanting more immediately after I finished, my only complaint is I now have to wait until Jan 2014 for the next book!!...more
