For me, it was quite average, I read it a little after 'Twilight' the movie, first came out and bout it after seeing it since I had already finished all the books in the Twilight Saga. Also, In some magazine, my friend got, it had a small book with chapters 1-3 in it. They seemed readable so I bought it. I liked the Heroine, she was really relatable and just dandy. But Patch...I didn't seem to get the feel of 'badboy' off him. Of course he smokes, drinks etc. but that didn't change my opinion. He seemed to good, even if he was a tad bit unsocial, to be bad. I also didn't feel the 'romance' aspect of the novel either. It was there, don't get me wrong, but it was very limited...I felt as if it was trying to catch on to the teenage angst or something. For me, Becca Fitzpatrick, didn't catch it. So-This is a sorta mixed reviewed book. I say take your chances--Its always in the libary :P since its so popular with young adult readers.Look at it that way--if you like it, buy it and support the author. I bought it, because I thought it would be wortht he buy and i was standing a book shop with money in my hand and nothing else appelled to me. All In ALL! It is an average read-but good for summer days etc. oir if you just need something to read. Average: 3 STARS!!...more

She lovThis was my mom's favorite book- and since i was little she has always preached to me about how much i would love it and why it was brilliant. She loved it so much that by the time it got into my hands, it was worn and tattered-broken in half and pages taped in and taped back together-which made it a difficult read. I found this to be true-this was my second Kathleen E.Woodiwiss novel-My first being The Flame and the Flower-which i loved, so i decided to tackle this 672 paged book-the largest amount of pages I had read at the time. It did become one of my favorite books. I loved Ruark (the hero) and couldn't understand why he feel in love with Shanna When he could have been with me at the beginning-with her being a spoiled brat only thinking about herself- but he knew she could changed and loved her for her good aspects instead of the bad-I liked how he could forgive so easily even with all the pain she puts him through-but he won't give up. This book to me was written as if it was meant to be formed in Poetry--I love the dialogue ad have doggy eared my favorite pages. I felt myself grow with Shanna-because at the beginning all i could describe her as was, selfish, naive, childish. But she grew-and everyone noticed-including her father who was well aware of her faults and didnt put them aside like Ruark did. Shanna grew to be a woman-mature, grown up and Radiant -having been strong-willed the whole time-nothing much changed there. She became more accepting and loving to Ruark who always deserved her love. The Love scenes are intense-the dialogue beautiful. I will forever love this book. OH! and Goodreads--WHY YOU NO HAVE ThIS COVER!!
Thats my cover--Does anyone else have that version? I think my mom bought in in South Africa when it first came out-It is a first addition. I like this cover a lot-but i do Lover the other covers aswell. Kathleen E. Woodiwiss You Are EPIC! 5 STARS!!...more

I don't think Warren Anderson, the hero, would have ever found someone if they hadn't pushed him. Their story is sweet and romantic, with Warren trying to resist Amy. Amy has been in love with Warren since she first saw him. She makes no bones about it and tells him--''I want you, Warren Anderson'' She is bubbly, spirted and funny as well as beautiful. Warren is still his grumpy old self, the same since we saw him in 'Gentle Rogue' which was James Malory's and Georgiana Anderson's tale. We see James and 'George' again, and George is giving birth to their first child. Amy literally fights Warren to be WITH Warren. She uses very amusing tactics, which i mostly laugh out load at. Johanna Lindsey wrote a wonderful story of a resisting man, who has been hurt in the lowest way possible and the woman who could pick him back up again.

It’s absolutely magical in that degree. I felt transported to a different time, and quite frequently lost track of the time will reading it. (It also helps her name is my name. which is childish but true.)
The Girl: Celia is sent to her father as a child, after her mother commits suicide. She was born with the ability to perform magic, and is a kind yet mysterious woman. Her Father is sadist and cruel only caring about the competition and not of he's daughter. She and Marco are trained differently. She is taught by example and if she can't do something right her father isn’t accepting of the inability to do a trick-- She actually refuses to ever fall in love, yet she does.
The Boy: Marco, A orphan, is adopted for by Mr.A.H for the main reason of being put into the competition. He is treated with coldness and indifference. Not getting the Love that a young boy craves, rarely being let out of the apartment. He is left to study and learn by himself-keeping notebooks and practising by himself. He is a handsome man with Green-grey eyes. Who instantly falls for Celia.
Main Couple Together : Celia and Marco together are electric. There is always a small flirtation between them from the beginning. When they touch sparks fly. It’s incredibly romantic in there scenes together. They are always together even when they aren’t; their making of the tent is there way of being together and loving one another from a distance.
Favourite Character: Celia, Marco or Poppet. I can’t decide. But I love them all, really. All the characters bring something to the table, which is actually really rare to find In book.
Overview: I Absolutley Loved this book, and could understand the hype of it. Having said that, this book is not for everbody, expecially if you want a quick read, then this isnt the book for you. I Give This a 5/5 because of the way it is Magical Circus-that truly is a dream, the romance between Celia and Marco, Bailey and Poppet. Note: The romance element has been judged harshly by other readers which made me notice that this book also depends on a person view on love-this love is spirtural--which some people would not really get. Thus calling the romance bland-but like i said it is the persons OWN view of Love.
Would I Read another book by this Author?: Hells Yes! If it is as good as this then bring on the next book!
A Song that really suited the story: (in my own cheesy way, Expecially the romance scenes.) Céline Dion-If Walls Could Talk. Within Temptation-Iron In this Moment-Her Kiss Within Temptation-All I Need-- chapter:impace(i thought goes with this part best. One good thing about "My week with Marilyn" is that it gives MM fans a rare glimpse and portrayal of Marilyn on a movie set. Marilyn is famous for her late appearances to set and Colin Clark gives context and a young insight into Marilyns work on "The Prince and The Call girl". It was interesting to read about Marilyn's anxiety and nerves on set-the interference of Marilyn's acting coach and the conflicts on set. But other than that-the "Romance" between Marilyn and Colin seems unrealistic. Sort of like a fairy tale adventure of a boy falling in love with an iconic movie star. I don't know if it's the way that it is written or what but I was sort of skeptical about the whole goes on with Marilyn and Colin.
Colin protrays Marilyn as child like-this is popular belief- he does paint a sympathetic and sweet view of Marilyn Monroe-not the icon but the "women child" underneath the sex goddess persona.

Once again, Mrs.Cole has rocked my world with this heart wrenching and adorable book! I simply loved the pairing of Murdoch and Danii. I read this in OOnce again, Mrs.Cole has rocked my world with this heart wrenching and adorable book! I simply loved the pairing of Murdoch and Danii. I read this in ONE day(ebook). I related with the sense of longing that Danii has through out the book, she is so completely alone even when she wasn't- Mrs.Cole really packs emotion into this, you feel all the sorrow, Danielle's and Murdoch's yerning for one and other. The Emotion as are really REAL.It was almost painful for them(and for me as a reader) not to touch, yet they couldn't because it painful for Danielle, The Ice Maiden. Its not some colored in flowers book. It relateable. It shows what distance does to a couple-how longing and wanting something your know is untouchable can almost break them. Mrs.Cole Ties in all the Wroth brother stories together. This is my first time meeting Conrad...oh, my,god...i think im in love with him-GAH! something about him, he just got under my skin...in a good way. The Girl: Danielle, The Ice Maidin, Danielle, The Ice Queen. I actually loved her, she surprised me because i expected her to be Cold and unyeilding. Yet she wasnt't, she wants Murdoch the moment she lay eyes on him. She snares and crumples the belief she is shy. She isn't. But she is vulnerable, very vulnerable. With the two thousand years of not being touched, not being loved in the way that she should be she is lonely, and resents being an ICERE most of the time. She resents she has to listen to her wanton sister(who i adore)talk and talk about their lovers, while she is unable to even touch another besides from her own kind, who are trying to kill her.
The Boy: Murdoch Wroth, i love you, you unbearabley sexy Vampire. I Have to admit I love him, yet at times, he was a real ass. He says he dosent act this way around other woman. He takes his time in admiting he loves her- not realising that he does. He is sexy possessive! He is one of those guys(Much alike My Beloved Lachlain From 'A Hunger Like No other) who is like 'your mine!no man can have you but me' which i always find hot. He does have his 'Oh my god, Murdoch what are you doing?' moments. But he always makes up from it knowing when he is wrong. I Love his determaination yet still wanted to slap him upside the head a few times :)
The Story: WHY ARE YOU SO AWESOME KRELSEY COLE!! If i knew you i'd hug the crap outta you and thank you for haveing such a god damned incrediable mind. I mean, this is soooo good! I was unsure if i would like this when i began reading, but i really enjoyed it- this is my first encounter with the 'bad-type of heroine' because im not reading the books in order. Cadeons cameo was a friendly meeting for me since i have yet to read his book and seriously liked his character--But now i have spoilers for his book soooo :P I wasnt sure if i liked either of the Main characters at the beginning but the grew on me and I started to like them (including Rydstrom's bondage fetish ;P) Sabine had a completely different out look on life compaired to Rydstrom. Hers is kinda more sad and realistic view on life- while as realistic as you can get from dying several times. Like i said, I didnt know if i would like Sabine, but when she started showing feelings for Rydstrom(when after the battle with the vampires, she goes straight to Rydstrom and kisses him passionately--happy to be alive and with him again.)
Lothaire, OF COURSE, makes an apperence--and let me tell you...my knees went weak....ahhh he is soooo hot...at least in my mind any way.
Kresley Cole's books always make me laugh and this was no exception- Nix and Regin are always there for comic relief-- as well as Cadeon- who was just plain funny ''HELL YEAH!!'' and blunt.
Great book- i probably would have given this three stars but i thought it was amusing and well done so :)...more
