Hunter and Devon used to be best fOh Roni Loren if I hadn’t already known you were one of the best authors ever I would after reading Yours All Along.
Hunter and Devon used to be best friends and roommates. Devon was the only out gay in a fraternity and Hunter wanting to make sure he gets the whole experience of college and people without his fathers overbearing presence he decides to room with Hunter. They become best friends until lines become blurred and then their friendship was over. Now four years later Hunter is supposed to be getting married to a woman, playing pro-baseball and being the perfect son. Except he’s not happy and when his fiancée plans a get away for him right before the wedding where Devon is all the emotions and feelings they had for each other come rushing back and they realize they were each others loves all along.
Oh boy seriously anything Roni Loren writes I fall in love with so I knew Yours All Along would be no exception. Roni writes about real issues in each novel that makes the character and story more relateable. She also writes really hot sexy scenes so if you haven’t read her stuff yet *wink wink” I would get on it ASAP. Before Roni Loren I had no idea I love Man on Man books, but wowza they’re awesome.
Hunter is a Senators son. He moved away from home to go play baseball even though it’s not what he wants. He just wants to get away from his overbearing father. Hunter has never questioned his sexuality or the path he put himself on. That is until a prank gone wrong turns into a very hot session with Devon. Now he’s questioning everything and his relationship with Devon. Hunter goes through a lot in this novel and he tries to figure out who and what’s important in his life.
Devon is openly gay. He’s been crushing on Hunter for a long time, but he doesn’t want to cross the line and risk losing his best friend. He’s not the relationship type but when Hunter crosses the friendship line he’s willing to cross the line with him. When Hunter leaves Devon is devastated and when he shows back up in his life Devon doesn’t want anything to do with him because Hunter broke his heart.
I freaking loved this book. I loved how it goes over a lot of the issues LGBTQA people have when dealing with coming out. While I wish it was simple a lot of them lose their families and friends and so many more issues. Hunter goes through losing his family and al the money he could ever have to get through school. Later he realizes he’s living a life he doesn’t want. I love the real issues this story deals with because it makes the book all that more enjoyable and real.
Yours All Along is a fantastic story and I loved it. I loved how the story was in flashbacks and the alternating perspectives between Hunter and Devon. I wish there story could have been more in depth with what happens after they hook up and a slower build-up into their getting it on moment. Despite that I love this book and would recommend this story to any and all. Seriously it's fabulous....more
Eloise Tyrell has gotten nothing but bad news from the beginning of this story. First she finds out she’s to be married off to a man she’s never met, and then she finds out the man she fell in love with has only been seeing her to bed her. Breaking it off with him she resigns herself to do her wifely duties but to never let another man have her heart. That is until she comes face to face with Lord Wolf who is nothing like she ever thought. He’s strong but hardened by war and while he is callous and harsh at times he has a soft heart. Lord Wolf is the perfect soldier who wants nothing more than the have a beautiful wife and heirs for his legacy. While he was hoping for an easy marriage Eloise is anything but easy. The two may act like they don’t like each other it’s all a fake front for each other. When everything becomes complicated with the kingdom it will test their relationship like nothing else.
I really enjoyed this story for the relationship between Eloise and Lord Wolf. They butt heads so much I loved it so much and have so much chemistry. I honestly don’t have much to say about this story. Not that it was boring or lacking in any way it’s just there isn’t too much to say about the story.
I would recommend this story because it was really enjoyable.
Oh and I definitely had a lot of laughter during this story since I can’t pronounce the word wolf because it comes out woof hehe so much laughter....more
Being cheated on after your car breaks down is definitely not how someone wants to spend their twenty firstThis was so goood!!! Monroe was so swoon!!!
Being cheated on after your car breaks down is definitely not how someone wants to spend their twenty first birthday. When Natalie’s car breaks down and she needs a tow Monroe shows up. Monroe shows up and Natalie immediately begin to butt heads. Monroe immediately pegs Natalie as a pampered princess who has had everything handed to her. It’s a great first reaction and their chemistry from the beginning is off the charts.
Natalie and Monroe have a great short story together. Natalie is amazingly feisty character who doesn’t put up with any garbage. She changes a lot in this short novel and I love how she stands up for herself. Monroe is a sexy beast who is both smart and caring.
I loved this story, but I am crossing my fingers this isn’t the end the end of their story.
Great quotes: “Oh and if you need me to make out with you or anything for show when we drive up, I can find it in my giving nature to make that sacrifice for you. I give him a droll look. “Your generosity knows no bounds. He nods solemnly. “I’m a giver, birthday girl.”...more

Quiet Angel talks about two peoples first love and their second chance at it twelve years later.
Gage and Layla had one summer on a beach. One summer was all it took for them to fall for each other, and then Layla disappeared and Gage never knew what happened to her. Twelve years later they meet again at an airport and Gage knows he’s not letter her go again. The story Quiet Angel goes over why Layla left and her dark past as well as what she has been building for herself since she was with Gage all those summers ago. Layla and Gage have an instant love connection that can’t be denied and as they story goes on and they deal with each others’ insecurities they grow together as a couple.
I wanted to like this book, but it fell short for me. I didn’t like how the story would switch from perspective to perspective within a paragraph and the characters seemed a little dry to me. The first sentence about Gage thinking about his abs was the start of a downward cycle for me. I mean who thinks like that? The writing style really wasn’t for me. I couldn’t tell a lot of the time if the author was describing the setting or if the characters were.
Overall this book wasn’t for me. I wasn’t a huge fan of the religious aspects of the book and how Layla saw an “angel” as more of a fact and less paranormal. It just became too much and wasn’t for me at all....more
