Danielle wakes up in the middle of the night one night to a man in her bed and a gun to her head. Now her stepmother has been taken and she’s heading into enemy territory. Having always been a sexual deviant Danielle takes this opportunity at Cole DeMarco’s sex club to help get her stepmother out of danger and to explore her sexual side. Except everything is harder than she thought. Danielle is falling in love with Cole her long time crush and Danielle fits in more than she ever expected.
I loved this book. Seriously it was the bomb.
Danielle has some self-esteem issues but she grows into an amazingly strong character. She starts off as a shy scared woman, but she turns into such an awesome woman who will fight for what she believes in.
Cole is a foxy foxy who has some issues. Cole is a super hot alpha male who has a major hot spot for Danielle. He is running the sex club to help others find what they need in a safe space. He has also done everything in the last couple years he’s been taking care of Danielle from afar.
The casts of characters in this story were absolutely amazing. Gracie and Logan were all absolutely hilarious. I loved how all the characters were important to every part of this story. I am definitely on board to reading the rest of this amazing series.
The entire story and mystery surrounding both Cole and Danielle’s life is so insane I couldn’t believe it. The real evil person in this story was so not who I thought it was. This whole story was just not what I expected at all. It was a great mystery with lots of suspense and hot sexy times. I loved every minute of this story.
I seriously want to recommend this book to every single person who loves BDSM and romance. Completely love this story so to those of you who love kinky love stories you need to get on this....more

Sean Ferro is back in all his sexual pantie dropping glory. I have missed him so very much while he was hiding in the shadows. You think you loved Sean Ferro before? Think again. All his sweet and tenderness is back in full force and the dark side (yes like Star Wars) is nowhere to be seen. Sean is perfection is every way in this eighteenth installment. He can't believe Avery came back but he wants he, needs her and opening up to her to be the man they both know he can be is his last move to keep her.
Sean has a plan to keep Avery safe and while Sean has been loving and caring before Avery doesn't know if she can trust him again with her heart. Sean opens up a lot to Avery about his past and his feeling s towards her but Avery is holding back a little because she's afraid of him hurting her again.
When sh*t hits the fan and freedom is so close, they get a call that will change everything.
This latest installment was the BOMB!!! There is so much going on but this little interlude with Avery and Sean was worth everything being put on hold for a while. I can not CAN NOT wait for the next installment. I have a feeling it will be amazing beyond belief. ...more

Jesse has lost his father and he needs money quick. His mother and sister are all he has left and working as a mechanic isn't going to save his house. When he meets Brooke he thinks she's just a girl, until he finds out her father was his fathers enemy. She's the girl who also wants to race against him.
Racing Hearts was cute I guess but i just couldn't get into the story. I am really not into mini stories anymore. Jesse and Brooke were just alright characters and the story seemed kind of unoriginal.
While it was okay I am definitely not going to read the next book.

Wow I was not expecting what happened to happen in this last installment. Peter is definitely becoming more swoon worthy than I ever expected. I like how Gina could see Sean for the damaged person he is, which only Avery ever seems to see.
Gina after dealing with her "break-up" tries to forget what happened and ends up spending the night with Peter, just not the way she wanted.
Now she's home and when she thought her parents would be there for her they side with her ex and now she's engaged. When she thinks it couldn't possibly get any worse Mrs. Ferro shows up (EVIL) and everything Gina has worked for is about to come tumbling down.
I enjoyed this last installment, but I didn't love it. This part felt drawn out when the others are usually quicker in pace. I still enjoy Gina's character a lot and can't wait to see what happens with her and Peter....more

I received an ARC of Arctic Bound and it’s definitely one of those books where gTHAT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!! First off HAPPY RELEASE DAY TO ARCTIC BOUND!!
I received an ARC of Arctic Bound and it’s definitely one of those books where getting an ARC is a blessing and a curse. I was so excited to get an ARC and read Tigris Eden’s new book early, and then I finished and all I could think was “now I have to wait longer than everyone else for the next one.” Sad I know, but I know the wait will be worth it.
Nerina is in hiding. Having escaped New York after the fire that killed her parent she’s hiding from the people she once called family. Burned and injured Nerina hides out in a small town in Alaska. All Nerina wants is a private life and that’s what she got until she meets Victor. The two butt heads instantly and Victor knows she’s hiding something.
Victor and his pack have formed a life up in the mountains secluded from humans and Hunters. Victor is soon to be Alpha and with is comes all kinds of responsibilities, like marrying Sasha. While he knows his duty he wants Nerina, and so does his warrior.
Arctic Bound was definitely not what I expected at all. I don’t want to give too much away so I kept what happens in the story at its minimum. Arctic Bound is definitely one of my favorite books this year. I cannot wait for more. Acrtic Bound has the supernatural with all diferent kinds of lore involved. We have Egyptian lore combined with Ancient Greek mythology. Seriously it can’t get better than this.
Nerina was a completely badass character. I loved her right from the start. Even though she’s injured she never lets it slow her down. She works hard to be independent and keep her strength up. Her personality is just amazing too. She’s straight up with everyone about who she is. She doesn’t back down and she goes after what she wants. Honestly Nerina is my absolute favorite type of character. She grows throughout the story, but is strong beginning to end.
Victor is a dick at the beginning of this book but explains is in a way where it would be understandable in the animal kingdom. Weakness isn’t tolerated in the animal kingdom which is why at first he doesn’t “like” Nerina. Victor is all Alpha male (in every sense of the word) and while he is a sexy and lickable character I liked that his character is the one that grew the most.
Arctic Bound was action packed. I enjoyed the fight scenes and that things blew up and or course how our two amazing main characters kicked major bootay. The sexy scenes where Nerina was BOUND he-he get the name now? No? Okay then anyway bondage was a huge part of Victors and the wolves’ lifestyle which was a definite surprise. You are going to need a fan for this one peeps.
Honestly there were so many twists and turns and the surprise that happens near the end, which changes the entire way I looked at the story and characters before was a huge mind blowing moment. I was definitely kept on my toes and am desperate for more of this series.
I love Tigris Eden as an author and here’s why. She puts everything I want in a book without it being too much. I am a huge fan of adding diversity into books and Tigris delivers. Nerina is biracial which is so freaking cool since I rarely ever read about biracial characters. Her female characters sometimes come across as weak, but in the end they take the most hits and keep getting back up to kick butt. She adds humor, action and has realistic characters in a fantasy world that you wish was real. She never overwrites because I loathe endless amounts of description and everything in the book comes across as natural. Tigris is definitely fantastic, so if you haven’t picked up her books yet, you should seriously start....more

Beau Beckett doesn't think the death threats that have been coming at him for almost two years are serious until his daughters life is threatened. Now he's being protected by Judd Wolfe, a man he used to see often. Now the two of them are single and tension is high.
I thought this story was enjoyable although I wished it had been a little longer to see more character development and back story.
Otherwise a nice quick read with two sexy men and an adorable daughter. Plus some danger....more

First off Peter apparently loves ears. There was a lot of ear licking in this installment that had me giggling. Lady wet dreams with Peter fantasies and cheating all wrapped up in one book. It was fantastic.
Erin’s character is so amazing. I love her character and am so sad I don’t get to see her in later installments. She gives Gina some award winning advice and I hope in the upcoming installments that Gina will be taking it.
H.M. Ward creates such a fantastic Ferro family dynamic. We get a glimpse at Mrs. Ferro who is definitely up to no good. I want to know her plans!!!! Gina is definitely in trouble now.
Gina’s character is growing so much throughout her diary stories. I liked her quirky character in the beginning but I have definitely fallen in love with how much she’s grown as a character throughout the four installments.
Loving on this series all the more and can’t wait to read the next one. Mrs. Ward creates brilliant and witty characters who are quirky enough to remind readers of themselves. Loving it! ...more
Stripped is definitely not what I expected at all. From the original cover I was expecting some erotic read with lots of sex and little story. TotallyStripped is definitely not what I expected at all. From the original cover I was expecting some erotic read with lots of sex and little story. Totally not what I got at all, but I shouldn’t be surprised since I enjoy Tabatha Vargo’s other books a whole lot.
Blaine and Chelsey’s story began in high school. Chelsey is the perfect student, she’s never missed class and she barely has fun. Her parents are strict beyond belief, but that doesn’t bother her, until Blaine. Knocking into his at school one day was all it took for her to begin falling for him. Blaine is the school bad boy who has no idea what he wants out of life, except for Chelsey. Their romance is adorable, new, and completely sexy, but over way too soon. Now years later they meet again and the secrets between them are so dark and painful it’s hard to believe they’ve survived so long.
So wow, first off from the prologue I thought this story was going to be taking place with older more characters, but Stripped took a surprising turn. The book starts from the beginning of their romance and then works to how they ended up where we meet them in the prologue.
I loved how this book was so surprising. I really enjoyed every minute of this book. I enjoyed the characters and felt the story was surprising and refreshing. I loved the realism that misunderstandings can have terrible consequences.
Chelsey has had a sheltered life. Her family is rich beyond belief, but that doesn’t matter to her. She has a best friend who is an amazing source of humor for her. Chelsey definitely develops a lot throughout the story. She learns how to have fun and enjoy life a lot more. Sadly in the future older version of her she has to go through that lesson again, but she has a good reason.
Blaine is an amazing character. I enjoyed his character development just as much as Chelsey’s. Stripped really goes to show how much two people can influence each other. Blaine fell for Chelsey hard and fast, but was a total jerk to her a lot of the time. Sometimes his cruelty had me wanting to cry, but he made up for it. It was mainly just his insecurity and hurt that had him being a douche but like I said I fell for Blaine quick so I was willing to forgive his douchey-ness.
I loved this story a lot. Tabatha Vargo did an amazing job crafting this story and it was so worth the wait. I LOVED the strip club scene and the high school growing romance. Since I’m such a huge fan of YA and NA it felt as if I got both in one story which I have never seen done before.
I would really recommend Stripped to people who enjoy mature NA books with lots of steamy but sweet romance. Be prepared for surprises and amazing writing and characters....more

I had a complete book hangover for almost a week after reading this phenomenal story. I swear the second book needed to come out yesterday because the wait is completely sucking, but I know it will be totally worth it.
Jax Mitchell had only her brother for the longest time until something happened to Jax and they were forced to move one of the last remaining cities in the world. Humans are all but extinct since the E’rickson, and alien race came and took over the earth. Jax thought everything was alright, until the E’rickson showed up and kidnapped her brother and left and E’rickson as her only means of tracking him. Jax doesn’t expect the E’rickson to be kind or helpful, but she knows she has to get her brother back before the town she lives in becomes more corrupt and she never sees her brother again.
I swear this book was completely epic. Never before have I read a story so completely unpredictable. The characters, the story, and the darkness and secrets surrounding both the human and the alien settlements were just completely unpredictable and flawless.
Jax before this story began has been injured and hurt. She couldn’t speak or move for a long time after it happened, but when she finally came to her brother had taken her to a town they used to trade with. Jax doesn’t know how to be close to people anymore, and she really doesn’t want to. I loved her character for so many reasons. Despite the fact that she’s a tad antisocial and has a damaged past she is one of the most fiercely loyal and tough characters I’ve ever read. She helps keep Lir her alien companion alive with nothing but her wits and knowledge of the wilderness. Even in the depths of the unknown alien world she survives and grows stronger. I don’t know if I can say there’s a ton of character development, but I think Jax discovers her inner strength.
Lir is the alien E’rickson who gets left behind by the men who took Jax’s brother. He’s never been outside the alien city before and he has no way of surviving until Jax makes him a deal to get him home in exchange for entrance into the city. I didn’t trust Lir at first since the circumstances surrounding his entrance into the story seemed fishy. Inevitably they team up and go on an adventure to get Lir home. Lir has a story we don’t really get a glance at until later in the story. He doesn’t trust Jax and sometimes he was a complete and total jerk, but I enjoyed his character and felt he came a long way from the untrusting alien to the man we see at the end of the story.
So I wouldn’t call this story a romance by any means because Broken Skies was a lot more about the story than the lovey dovey stuff, but there was some. I was a little nervous at the beginning when I thought this may turn out to be a love triangle. It so didn’t turn out that way. Jax and Lir end up forming a bond that only E’rickson can make with their true mates so that was amazing to see how their relationship and feelings grew. Since Jax has never been interesting in boys besides Lir she is very naive and confused about their relationship. I enjoyed reading about their journey from untrusting companions to something a lot more.
I could really go on and on about this story. So much happens that it was mind-blowing it all fit so perfectly into one book. Theresa Kay is definitely an amazing author. Her writing and story telling ability is just completely off the charts. I was never bored and constantly on the edge of my seat wondering what was next. I seriously could not put this book down and I read it in one sitting, so worth the book hangover.
Broken Skies is amazing which is why it is now one of my favorites. I kept reading and rereading after I finished and seriously cannot say enough about how fantastic this book is. It’s original and thrilling and I cannot thank both Netgallley enough for sending me a copy of this book. I would really recommend this book to YA dystopian lovers who enjoy the story more than the romance. Can’t wait for the next book since that ending was heartbreaking and amazing at the same time. ...more

Penelope andWhew okay first off interracial couple, which is a huge plus for me. Someone must be reading my blog about my love of interracial couples.
Penelope and Will are rivals in the real-estate business. They both drive each other crazy trying to outdo each other. With a business deal in offered between them Penelope and Will make a bet, whoever gets the deal has to submit to the other for a week. Now while I don’t want to give spoilers I will say since it’s in the first chapter or two that Penelope loses and has to submit to Will. This is where things get interesting since while they’re just trying to settle a bet it turns into so much more.
I enjoyed this story a lot. Penelope is a flawed character who tries to please everyone but herself because of who her father was. She is a switch so a Dom and a sub which I haven’t read a lot about before so it was interesting to see. When her relationship with Will becomes more real than she ever thought it would, I liked how she didn’t spend a lot of the book denying her feelings. Penelope is definitely a strong independent woman who has made a successful career for herself and who stands up for what she believes in. When her and Will get into an argument she gets real and tells him what’s what which I found endearing and so true to her character.
Will is a control freak, which isn’t all that surprising that he turned out to be a Dom. He comes across as a bit cold, but since we get to read his pov it shows he’s really not all that harsh. His relationship with Penelope has always been professional, but when she begins to sub for him he loses all sense of control. He sometimes takes things too far with Penelope which causes some issues as well as when he gets scared and pushes her away. I have to say Will seems to have had more character development than Penelope, if only because throughout the book he would deny his feels and take things too far where as Penelope tried to stay level headed throughout the book. In the end Will was a much more likeable character when he’s with Penelope, he’s less cold and more carefree which made reading about his character all the more enjoyable.
Betting on Fate was a sizzling hot read. I love Brazen books and Katee Roberts is a fantastic author. Will and Penelope’s relationship was definitely non-traditional which I really liked. I can’t wait for the installment of this series. Betting on Fate opened up about the fact that work and relationships need to have a balance to work and I enjoyed reading about how both characters struggled and worked their way through this.
I would definitely recommend this book to older readers who enjoy BDMS and romance stories. It’s mature in content and language and has definite panty melting moments. Enjoy!
