This story is about a boy named Bobby whose life changes the moment his grandmother believes he's a changeling. I can't tell you much without revealing any spoilers, but if you have read Omens, you will remember a character from the book in this story.
Overall, it was amazingly written and I had to find out how it ended. I just felt that this story had a point to make. I think it also gives us more info about what Cainsville is all about.
I'm sorry if it's vague or confusing, I'm not that good when it comes to explaining or reviewing....more

If the first book didn't mark me as much, I'm happy I still continued to read the series. The second got me hooked, the third one got me eager to learn more and the fourth one made me sad to see it end.
The fallen angels and Lucy must find a way to stop Lucifer from erasing the earth's past and time is running out on them. As they follow a path to find the site of the falling, the obstacles will be numerous. New alliances will be made; enemies will be back and sacrifices will be made.
How to express my feelings about this book... I loved how we learned so much more about the fallen angels and what happened. We knew some of the events that occurred since the fall, but so much was still to be learned and Lauren Kate filled the blanks throughout this book.
Not only do we learn more about the fallen angels, but Lucy remembers more and more about her past lives; about herself. I enjoyed seeing Lucy evolve into who she was in the end. So much she had to accept and I'm surprised she didn't run for the hills when all of this became more and more complicated; just so much how strong she really is.
Lucy and Daniel's story made us believe that love conquers all and seeing them and their friends fight for what they believe is really inspiring.
The last book is filled with action from the beginning to the end; no time to waste when the fate of the world is in their hands. And I'll admit, I easily got myself into the characters so much, that I pretty much reacted like they did.
My last request? I'd love to see some novellas done about other angels. We learned a few things about them throughout the series, but I feel so much is left to discover.
In conclusion, this book was awesome and I enjoyed it a lot....more

A HUGE THANK YOU to Paranormal Wastelands for doing this Blogerhood of the Traveling Book and to Pan Macmillian Australia for giving copies and give us a chance to read this book.
Second, this book is only available in Australia for now, but we can cross our fingers that it could change in a near future if he was to find a publisher on this side of the Globe.
Now, to my review...
I will admit that it took me a while to get into the story this time. The first chapters seemed to stretch long. I understood Winter's heartbreak over losing Blake, but I was in need of something happening.
And just like that, M. J. Hearle seemed to hear my prayers when two new Demories appeared on Winter's graduation day and her life was about to be changed again.
But Demories are not the only ones back; Sam makes a return in Winter's life. I wasn't sure how to feel about his return. Even when I realized there would be more books, it was more obvious than not that he would come back, but I wasn't sure how I would feel about him and wonder if he would make me change my mind about him. But through the book, the readers are finally getting to see a side of him that we didn't see while his family was shadowing him. Though at the beginning, Winter knows that whether she can trust him or not, she needs him to help her with her quest about finding Blake.
My favourite character though was Jasmine. She's what I call a true friend who even if sometimes she can be tackless, she's there for Winter from the beginning to the end. Her explosive personality made this story even more interesting for me. I personally would like to see Jasmine and Sam getting closer if it was ever possible for her to forgive him.
Winter didn't get my attention as she did in the first book, but I like it like that since we got to know the other characters more.
And the add of the story of Lamara and Blake's journal entries was a good move. I liked to read a bit more about someone who's like Winter and I liked we got to know Blake slightly more. It's not enough, but more than what we got from Winter's Shadow.
Overall, once the action started, M. J. Hearle got me hooked once again in Winter's world and I'm looking forward for the next book....more

It could have been easily added to the book without a doubt as a prologue or something. It's nice to have a better idea how it started, rating: 2.75/5
