I can never contain my excitement over it. It is brilliant, romantic, poetic, it's just simply amazingly incredible. How anyone could not like, no- love, this book is beyond me. I am in love with Mr. Darcy. Tall, dark, and handsome, how could I not? He has faults, yes, but that just makes him that much more likable and believable. I love Elizabeth's wit and character, and seeing her change from hating Darcy, to loving him completely. And I want to hit Mr. Collins over the head for his stupidity and ignorance of women's feelings and thinking he knows their thoughts!
Elizabeth's and Mr. Darcy's love for each other is so romantic and beauitful. It is timeless, undergoing trials and contempt before it could blossom into something truly majestic and true. Their love for each other is sweet and shy, yet sincere and ardent. Several times during the book I had to laugh, or found myself smiling stupidly over the awkwardness their love goes through, when Elizabeth starts to harbor feelings of gratitude and respect for Mr. Darcy which slowly turn into true love, and then seeing Darcy's changed character and that he still loves Elizabeth, and more, since she vehemently rejected him.
Reading Pride and Prejudice just makes me giddy with delight. The romance makes me sigh in contented bliss, and root for Lizzy and Darcy. This is an absolute beloved classic, one that I will love and reread eagerly forever. (less)

It’s creative, not like other faerie stories. I love Aprilynne's creatioin of faeries, the bio makeup and such. And how she made them have coloring of their hair and eyes. It's just so creative. And then we got to glimpse the fearie world. We heard a little about it, and how fearies live and the magic of the seasons, but we didn't get to see it. But in Spells we do, so I"m excited for that. And I liked the idea of having trolls in the story, it made the story more original and intriguing.
The characters were done well. And I feel so bad for Laurel, she has to decide who she wants. David is nice, and the perfect human boyfriend, and she really likes him. Tamani on the other hand, sparked intense feelings inside her, and she couldn’t deny it; he’s intriguing, intense, cocky and daring. He’s pretty much the dream boyfriend. David and Tamani are both so likable, I can’t decide who I think should end up with Laurel. I probably lean towards Tamani, because he’s, well, so cool and intense. But David is so nice, and he deserves Laruel. Why did Aprilynne have to make them both so likable? Neither of them really have a flaw. David is kind of unsure, and shy at times, but that just makes him that much more likable. But, I think I would be sadder if she chose David. I guess I just feel like Tamani likes her more, like his feelings are so much deeper and meaningfully, than David’s feelings; he likes Laurel because she’s pretty, and different, and there’s something about her that just draws him to her.
I love this book. It's pretty much amazing. A really nice, fun read. Now onto Spells to find out what happens! (less)

It’s intense and intriguing. The plot of the story is so intricate and vivid. It was thought out to perfection. The world Kristin created is amazing and beautiful, I can picture it perfectly. Kristin’s writing style is unique, but I love it. It fits the story and Katsa’s character. The characters are so real and believable. I love all the characters. Katsa and Po have so much depth to them, and their relationship was beautiful. Even the minor characters are perfect. Sometimes I just found myself smiling over something someone said, or what Katsa thought, or I would be laughing, and have to read the scene again because it was just perfect and funny. The ending is so sad, but it ended perfect. I love this book! Love it, love it! (less)
