I loved Aerin and Dane. I became intrigued by them, and the different secrets they were keeping. Facts about their lives were slowly revealed, and I couldn’t wait to turn the next page to find out their secrets. Their romance was brought on slowly, and deepened at every passing moment. I loved how Anne used science fiction in her story. And when Dane showed Aerin the planet where he lived and the falls, the writing was so descriptive, I felt like I was there, and watching the beauty myself. The secret that Aerin was heartbreaking, as was her real story that she did not know about.
Anne’s writing was so descriptive. Not the best writing. A lot of short sentences-and looking up. Into the eyes of someone. But Anne described the scenes beautifully. Creating such magical portrayals of nature and the serene beauty of it. Aerin and Dane seemed so real. I could feel every pain and joy they felt. They tried to be so strong, thinking that they didn’t need to tell anyone about their horrific lives. But in the end, that is just what they needed. The support and love of each other.
Academy 7 was brilliant. After reading it, (for the second time) I felt chills running up my spine, and I just felt giddy with the way the story ended, and how the relationship between the two ended. Perfect! I loved it! Thank you Anne, for such a great story. I really hope there's a sequel! (Oh, and I absolutely love the cover:) ...more

I lo**spoiler alert** I reallly liked this book, despite the fact that the ending was so sad, and completley not what I expected or wanted to happen. I loved the Disney version of it, but I knew that the book would not end like the movie. The writing was well written, and the story pulled me in. I liked Quasimodo. He was made to be a repulsive creature that no one could love, but he was kind of endearing. He just wanted to love and be loved by someone. Esmeralda was kind and beautiful, but kind of stupid. All she could think about was Pheobus, who didn't even love her back. Pheobus was a ladies man, and basically didn't care about anything. All in all, the book was very good. I just didn't like the ending. Everybody died in a gruesome manner. The only good thing was Pierre saved Djali....more

It tugged at my heart, and made me smile and laugh in some places. It was a really quick read, but it held such meaning and promises in it. When Jinn had to leave, my heart called out to him and Viola. Their pain was so poignant, and Jackson displayed it so clearly. This book is one my new favorites. Thank you Jackson, for such a beautiful love story. ...more

It is my all time favorite book. The wrting is intricate and beautiful, and expresses completley the feelings of Jane, and the ardent love Jane has for Mr. Rochester. Their love for each other was so precious and endearing. It transcended against all time. It shone through the bleakest moments of their lives, the most truest, beautiful, endearing love. Jane's world almost shattered when she found out the truth about Rochester's past. But even that could not shake her love for him. She just knew things had to change. Their love is so powerful. Charlotte Bronte expressed her characters so clearly. I felt Jane's and Rochester's love so strongly. I felt their agony so acutely. I ached for them. For Rochester, when Jane left and he was left alone, separated from his true love. And knowing that he searched for her tirelessly, desperately. And Jane, when she realized that she had to leave him, no matter how dearly she loved him, and how much she knew he loved her. And the end, when they reunite, it was so perfect, so precious, so full of love. I turned the last page smiling, loving how the story unfolded itself beautifully. This is an absolutely beautiful, beloved classic, a book to be re-read continually and treasured always close to my heart....more
