There's no mystery, passion is long gone, and any intimacy is just a sad joke from here on out.
At no point did I care enough about anyone in this to to accept the things that goes on throughout the book. Eventually not only did I stop trying I just about shut down. I had less than an hour left and I kept thinking how did this all go so wrong.
I'm not going to spoil it for anyone deluded enough into thinking that this book is for them but after the decision was made to "make a move", NOTHING makes sense anymore! People either seem to have all the answers or no answers whatsoever and no one seems concerned about it. If you think I'm kidding imagine both ends of the spectrum occurring at the same time and not questioning how on earth does that make any sense right now. Why keep drinking a drink you know is drugged and struggle to accept that a person is being honest with you? Why chase a person for (almost...maybe...if you hold it against me I'll smack you) 2 years and then when you finally have them in your sights not only let them go but help them escape. What!
This is what anyone who walks down this road is going to have to deal with. I'm totally going to ignore the fake love triangle. The overly horny men left in the world. The wizened old grandmother. Also without nitpicking that ending was one of the most pointless things I've read. Nothing happened that I didn't already know. Nothing happened that I hadn't already assumed would either. Ahh see I tried not to do it but I still did. Sorry. There's going to be more of these books? Hell to the no! I'm out!...more

I don't want to ruin a thing so this review is going to be short. Peter Clines is KATN, every book is honestly getting better and better. Funny thing is, I thought he was already at the top of his game with his Ex series. I am speechless. The book centers around a group living in an strange apartment. By the time things get going you won't even realize how much information you gleamed or how much time has past. I honestly was surprised at moments and other times glad to see things happen that made sense. While the story is clearly set in a reality when things start going in a different direction it doesn't seem forced or faked at all. You really believe what it happening and the story really doesn't take you out of it at any moment. I was a fan.
One thing, if I ever start my own mystery gang... nope can't do it. Read this book! It's very good....more
This book was fabulous the first time around 10 years ago. It has most definitely aged well. It's an even better experience the second go around. EvenThis book was fabulous the first time around 10 years ago. It has most definitely aged well. It's an even better experience the second go around. Even the preview of book two makes you want to keep experiencing this world over and over. So many questions. .It's a beautifully tragic book and I love it.
The link text reads "Gifing My Way Through The Time Traveler’s Wife" so don't try and act like you didn't realize there were spoilers...but it's hilarious!
Also, sure it only took 5 years for Audrey to write the first EPICALLY amazing book. Since she said she only started writing book two for the ebooks release... yup. Get ready to wait for awhile this tease burns... it burns hard....more

Was there any doubt this was going to be a 5*? If you were thinking differently clearly you don't know me at all. This book takes badass to another plateau , hell maybe even a new plan of existence entirely..
There is so much in the book that they didn't carry over to the movie... not that it didn't adapt well cause it did, it really did, but a lot of "the narrator's" thoughts had to be watered down cause it just would seem like he was an anti social nut-job.. oh wait.
I don't want to ruin this for anyone but I'm still kind of floored that this was his first novel. What do you follow this up with?
Oh special note, try and get the ebook with the new afterward in it. It kind left me speechless talking about all the things that has happened since the novel was first published. Seriously. Badass.
Truth I am so more curious about who is actually writing this than many other things. It's everything you love about the show and more. Honestly at thTruth I am so more curious about who is actually writing this than many other things. It's everything you love about the show and more. Honestly at this point there isn't much new but there are fun moments with everyone we grown to know and love.
I really appropriated the tie in with the show cause it's parallels it without it being repetitive or monotonous. No time to pause and keep writing. If you're a fan you're gonna love this one. If you're not I have no idea why you're reading my words at all :-)...more
