Good thing that the material was ingrained into my brain on brain wash level. ~I was still reading even a hour and a half before the exam -_-;; I true addict to book and drama series~
It was a nice book, the romance\ero parts well written, and I like the hero-assassin. Also it was nice that even though it paranormal it didn't go on about soul mate as the explanation for the fact that her powers stooped working on him. The gangster's character, although it he was dis likable but at the end somehow those feeling went away because you understand that his actions even if they were wrong, and they were basically human because everyone are trying to step into a higher position in life and on the way a lot make mistakes and hurt other, he just stopped worrying about that because he lived in the gangster world. *I'm pretty sure all of us have some weakness towards the bad and unmoral guy once you see he isn't that unfeeling* I liked that the main character (the girl) wasn't the weak kind that hides behind someone, that she lives as a person who breaks laws (not always interesting to read about the pure white souled heroin), and that she killed when she had to.
I found the plot similar, with the con artist making a gangster part with his money, and the assassin who's sent to kill her falling for each other similar to Death Angel. The difference is that that book has more suspense, maybe less action, a little more paranormal and less ero~(less)

There is mystery, action, and the characters have developments which is great (now, you wouldn't want to read a book where the thing just repeats itself. Plus here not only the relationships change, but also the characters themselves.) I liked the main character, Andrea, because we can sympathize with her and because I kinda of like the bad, strong type of female lead. And her actions are understandable, and I'm pretty sure any woman would've done almost the same if she was in her place. The main guy, Simon\Cross, I liked him lots too! Really who doesn't love the badass assassin who falls in love? (those factors can be called "the good stuff for fantasy") I even liked the bad guy, Rafael, a little. If you don't put the drug lord and the "go ahead bro" factors into the equation, he's pretty pitiful because whether he really like her or not, he started caring for her to some level. All the part after her dying was really interesting, the details the author came up with like her being able to see people's past when she was dead or her being able to see a possible future was great, and the emotional things after her coming back also were great because we got to see some more tender assassin moments (yay for the fantasy department in our memory part of the brain~) And the suspense was also great, although I didn't like the detail parts of their planning but ohh well they were good information for maybe some future use LOL(less)
