REVIEW: Captivating, rebellious, seductive & sinfully delicious! Again I am left speechless by the quality of Tiffany’s writing. There is a constant in her writing and stories and that is the quality and the deep and sinful way in which she brings these characters to life. The Saint is the first book in the spin off series (The White Years). In this new installment Reisz introduces us a very young Soren, a man whose desires and needs are all put to the test when he meets the young and irreverent Eleonor. The story gives us glimpses into the lives of the characters I have come to love so much, Soren, Nora & Kingsley, the three characters that have taken us in for a wild ride. It is difficult to meet a troubled Nora, a young woman who keeps fighting to find her way, her purpose and reason. I loved how her relationship with Soren started, her attitude, her teases, her apologies and her early acceptance of who she knew now owned her heart and love.
“You’ve been through so much in the past few months. Take all the time you need. But know I will miss you every moment until you come home to me.” “I love you , sir.”
Soren is not different from the man we have learned so much about, the only difference is that he is younger. But his mysterious ways, his seductive presence are well detailed in this book. We also get to see him as a more approachable man, still respected and perhaps feared by those in the life style but more open and personal. I really enjoyed everything I learn about his early years. His teachings to Nora, his lessons and his punishments brought me to laughter more than once.
“Oh, holy fuck,” she whispered to herself. “Toto, we are not in Kansas anymore…”
Nora at any age is irreverent, inpatient, insolent and all around exciting and awesome. I love every aspect of this story. From the moment Soren meets Nora to the moment Nora is introduced to Kingsley, it all comes together to gives a story that tells and show us so much about these characters. Reisz manages to give us a different view of the years when Soren and Nora met and how she became such an important part of his life. It gives us a glimpse into Kingsley early years. The book is fantastic, it explores Nora early days when her life was in turmoil, when her reality was shaky until she was showed a better path. I love every sentence & page of this book. It gives us so much and it showed us how it all started. I can’t recommend it enough, buy it you will not regret it.
“There are three eternal truths about me you have to know, Nico,” she said. “I love Soren. I belong to Soren. And I will go back to Soren.”
This book is perfection in every sense, buy it, get to know these characters and be blown away by what we once thought to be taboo, by what we consider sacred, by what we know is sinful!(less)

REVIEW: I have always kept my liking for cowboy a secret but I will no more. This western romance erotica just amplified my liking for men in boots, wrangler jeans and cowboy hats. Take Me Home, Cowboy is a very romantic and erotic read that will leave you gasping for more.
Ally Kincaid is a southern belle with a hint of city girl after having moved to NYC for work. There, she has established a life and a really good job. After a number of bad relationships Ally decides to just forget about men and the complications that comes with having one. I like Ally a lot, she is a strong woman, with strong personality and a big heart. It is easy to identify with her, she loves her father and love her roots and hasn’t forgotten where she came from. I think her character is exactly what I would picture a southern belle to be, sweet, beautiful and smart. After a few bad relationships, Ally doesn’t think there is a man out there for her. That’s until she meets her the new employee in her father’s farm, a man who was not only rude to her on the phone but whose accent had an immediate effect on her, making her body tingle and sizzle and her mind roll with the possibilities.
Matt Gentry is the sexy cowboy we all wish we had. He is sexy, with a sexy accent and a body that could make any woman sizzle from desire. I really really liked his character. He is sweet, a total gentleman and a sexual specimen. I have always been a secret admirer of hot cowboys, the tight jeans, the boots, the hat and the funky accent can make any woman melt and Matt isn’t the exception. I am in love with his character. His interaction with Ally and his desire for her is what makes this ready steamy. I like the drama behind his character, his past and sad story brings the necessary balance to this steamy read. Ally past experiences make anyone a believer that destiny always has something for everyone. Matt and Ally are perfect together, their interaction, the sex and their desire makes them a lovely couple. Love at first sight may not come for everyone but for Matt and Ally it was instant. I recommend this read, it is short but sweet, great character and steamy sex. I like that combination.(less)

REVIEW: I can’t deny that Beautiful Bastard has a catchy title, just as I can’t deny the book cover reminded me of Mad Men (Don Draper). What I wanted to find inside those pages was a sexy story that would bring me to my knees and leave me pretty much salivating, and oh boy did I get what I wanted.
Beautiful Bastard is a sexy, well written modern story of two very different people brought together by desire, intelligence, tons of sex and love. What I like about this story is that doesn’t follow the same line as of Fifty Shades by E.L. James, in this book both characters are unique and well developed. Both are sexy, intelligent and not so innocent. Beautiful Bastard will blow your panties away. Ladies panties replacement required.
This story flows nicely, Bennett Ryan is thirty something man who has more than looks, he is sexy, educated, well traveled and a horny beast. He has made work his center and has proven to be good at it. What makes this story even more sensual and erotic is not just that he is a panty ripper; he also enjoys dirty talk. He isn’t shy about what he wants and how he likes it, he can close a deal as easy as he bends his woman over a conference table. There is not a window or a wall that stands a chance of not being used as an aid to his sexual game. I was left drooling after reading this book. What I like about Mr. Ryan is that he is good at almost everything, the bastard speaks French fluently, he lived in Paris for a long time and brings that sexy and sensual European flair with the looks of a sexy American boy. The combination of raw, sexy and smarts makes him one of the hottest characters of contemporary Erotica right now.
Mr. Ryan is the boss, and under his supervision is a sexy intern who has as much spark and sassiness as he does. She isn’t afraid to tell him like it is and fight back. Chloe is in her twenties, she is about to complete her MBA and is working towards securing her future. She has worked at Ryan Media for over six years. She has proven to be qualified for any job and has proven to be quite efficient in more than one way. During her time at Ryan Media she has earn a reputation, she has been in charge of a multi-million dollar account and that’s exactly what is going to help her score her graduate degree as well as a job in the near future. What Chloe hadn’t planned was getting romantically or sexually involved with the boss and losing her panties and heart while at it. Mr. Bennett Ryan, the beautiful bastard has the skills and a way to make any woman drool over him, but Chloe has the body and brain to make him beg.
I could go on about this book but I think it isn’t fair that I spill all the beans. Ladies, do not delay and order this book. This is such a fun read, it had me laughing out loud, it had me drooling and quivering more than I like to admit. Beautiful Bastard is smart and sexy, delightfully written and totally erotic. I am not sure I will be able to attend a meeting without giggling about the things one can do on top of a conference table or against a high rise window or just in the elevator. I will never be able to step inside an elevator without measuring the possibilities…oh the possibilities. Loved this book and I can’t wait to read more of this author.(less)

REVIEW: When I finally got to read this book I was very excited. I know that I was going in with an open mind and the idea that I would find an original and different story. Well, that wasn’t necessarily the case. Like many other contemporary Erotica Release Me presents characters and situation that are pretty common in most the erotica coming out lately. As far as the plot, it was interesting but not different from others in the genre. Release Me follows somewhat the same path as Fifty Shades of Grey, a hot, young and intellectual man who has control issues based on childhood scars. However, I find it a bit refreshing that the female main character wasn’t innocent at all; she was witty and had playful personality that I enjoyed very much.
Damien is possessive, sexual, and overpowering. As a child his father pretty much controlled his life and he was forced to follow other’s commands. As an adult he found release in his control. Everything and everyone around Damien always did what he wanted and when he wanted. I like that in a way, because it shows his determination and dedication to the things he believed in. What I don’t like however, is his lack of communication and explanations for his reasoning and actions. I like Damien but I can’t help to compare his character to Christian of Fifty Shades of Grey.
Nikki is funny, smart and believes in individualism. I like her personality but I disagree how she handled her relationship with Damien. Nikki first met Damien during a beauty pageant that Damien was sponsoring; however he didn’t give her a second thought and moved on. While for Damien she was just another young participant, for Nikki meeting Damien was a dream, even when she only saw him for a few minutes. He made an impression on Nikki and stayed in her mind ever since. I like the way Nikki’s strong personality handled certain situations in her professional life, however her infatuation with Damien didn’t seat well with me. Nikki was more preoccupied on saving Damien, than saving herself. Her inability to confront her demons (mother) brought me border line mad. I believe in strong women and though Nikki was professionally strong, as a person she was somewhat weak. I thought she would be able to stand up for herself and put her mother in her place.
What I liked about the story, the sex, the passion, the games, the pampering. Damien is a sex god and knows how to make a woman moan. Nikki wasn’t afraid to show Damien her need and desire for him, she took delight in their encounters and even encouraged him to go out of the ordinary. Sexually they were matched made in heaven, emotionally not so much. Both characters have issues to handle and both characters need more than just the sex; however they use it as a coping mechanism and a way to find connection. These two characters rocked the bed, the walls, the car and the window. I enjoy those scenes and I think the author did a pretty good job describing them and crafting the scenes.
What I hope to see in the next book: I want to see a more open relationship between Nikki & Damien; I want to see more participating from Nikki, really just laying there isn’t fun in sex lol. Though Nikki enjoyed Damien’s protection I also think she felt overwhelmed. Damien needs to open up about his feelings, about his childhood issues and his daddy issues. I want to see Nikki tell her mom off, I want to see Nikki more concern about her life professionally. The sex in this story rocked, it was good and it was detailed, overall Release Me is a good story, but not a five devils story. Readers who enjoy Fifty Shades of Grey will enjoy Release Me. I recommend it if you do not mind plot similarities with Fifty Shades. I am looking forward to book #2 Claim Me scheduled to release July 2013.(less)

REVIEW: There is a ton of things to say about this book, and I am going to start with OH MY GOD. The Price was exactly what I expected and more. The story was awesome. Tiffany Reisz gave us glimpses of the past, providing us with needed insight about the struggles that some of the characters went through and how those situations shaped them.
Though it is unusual for me to enjoy different plots in one book, Tiffany‘s The Prince brought us a more complex read this time around. The development in this book goes from Wesley and Nora to Kingsley and Søren. All those different perspectives and struggles made The Prince one of the kind read.
We start with the arrival of Nora to Kentucky and her reunion with Wesley. The relationship between these two is not only sweet, but raw and sexual. Their attraction goes beyond the need and hornyness of two very sexual yet new lovers. Their friendship strengthens their relationship and Wesley understanding of Nora is impressive. I like how Nora doesn’t fail to show Wesley how much she loves him, her declaration brought tears to my eyes and I can’t deny she made me laugh a lot more this time around. Wesley is such an adorable character; he is mature beyond his years. Nora is one of those complex characters that one can’t help but adore. Her straightforward ways made me want to be just like her, so secure and to the point, no holding back and not afraid of saying what’s in her mind. Wesley is the opposite yet those differences are exactly what bring them together. I can’t wait to see how much farther their relationship goes.
(view spoiler)[ Soren’s love was like the sky – huge and ubiquitous, always there without fail. She no more expected his love to go away than she would ever imagine walking outside at night and seeing a void where the stars should be. But Wesley’s love …it seem so strange to her, so novel. Where had it come from? and why? She would understand the origin of the stars before she ever got why this beautiful , so sweet and pure, would love a woman like her. (hide spoiler)]
Kingsley and Søren are extraordinaire; these two great yet complex characters are the main focus of the book. Reisz brings out all the raw emotions and need we knew existed in Kingsley character but that were never presented in such way. Thanks to the switching from past to present we are able to see how their relationship started and what brought them together as well as what separated them. I was so busy with those two characters that I found myself turning pages just to see what was going to happen next. There is a major event in this book that will make readers bite their nails. The drama and suspense as well as the mystery behind that person who stole Nora’s file is nerve wracking. The past has certainly made an appearance in this book and not in a good way.
The encounters between Søren & Kingsley were hot, painful and passionate all at the same time. Their relationship was troubled and though there was love, it always came in the form of a beating. It is quite difficult to associate one with the other but Tiffany was able to showed us a Søren we haven’t see in previous books. Their relationship started while both were only kids, but each knew what it meant for them to be involved, what it entailed and what was expected. The devotion, the love and understanding brought them together while the complexity of the relationship and its consequences brought them apart.
(view spoiler)[ “What are you playing for, mom ami?” Kingsley had asked. “What I’ve been praying for every day since I met you,” Stearns said, twisting the beads around his hand.
“And what is that?”
Stearns opened his hand to display the rosary beads he’d weaved between his fingers like a spiderweb.
Kingsley is one of the hottest characters in this series and though I am fond of Wesley I have to say I am focusing all my energy on Kingsley. He is undeniably the hottest character in this book, aside from Søren of course. I love this book and I can’t help it. The characters, the plot and the events that unfold made The Prince one of the hottest Erotica books I read this year. Tiffany Reisz has a knack for writing exciting character while maintaining brilliant and entertaining plot. She brings characters to life with her witty and unrepentant way of storytelling. The Prince is naughty, sinful and extremely sexy. I feel dirty after reading it, but as every sinner I like it. If you have the urge of confessing after reading The Prince, don’t feel bad, you aren’t alone. Father, forgive me for I am a Sinner.!["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>(less)

REVIEW: The Naughty Angel is a sinful and sexy book. The need of an angel becomes the undoing of a demon. The characters are sexy and sinful, the story is steamy and dangerous. I enjoyed the playful and spunky attitude of Ariel and the sinful and unrepentant personality of Edison. Once Ariel has her first taste of the sinful demon she isn’t going to let go. I like how these two characters are able to risk everything for the sake of pleasure. Totally hot!

REVIEW: Risking It All is one of those stories that start somewhat slow but then it picks up. Though I am not a fan of love triangles the author did a good job bringing out the feelings and emotions felt by all the characters involved.
I liked Risking It All for a few reasons. The story felt quite real and one that we may have seen or experience at some point in life. Though I am not sure everyone has experience a love triangle, this story shows a great deal of struggles, indecision & sex.
Kennedy met her best friend Memphis during her first year in college. She was made aware of his antics and ability to get into women’s pants. But after seeing a side of him rarely exposed it was clear to her that Memphis was more than what women said he was. Kennedy and Memphis became best friends. The story goes into showing us what Kennedy did after she finished college. She became an artist since her love for art was stronger than the desires of her family to become something she didn’t love and enjoy.
Then the story flows slowly into Kennedy relationship with Brooks, and her tight and close friendship with Memphis. Though I liked the story, I think it dragged a bit. Kennedy’s idea of a loving relationship isn’t what she is experiencing with Brook and his constant absence from her life was proving to make things complicated for her. Memphis is a handsome and sweet guy, who has been at Kennedy’s side for a long time and who seems to know her better than anyone. I liked Memphis, not because he is hot but because he has all the traits good friends have. He is caring, sensitive and supportive.
Brook on the other hand is sensual, sexy and self absolved. He loves Kennedy but doesn’t seem to understand that she needs more than a warm body in her bed. This is the kind of story that many women can identify with, the struggle of a woman fighting to maintain a relationship she knows is doomed to come to an end. The interaction between the characters was well throughout and detailed. I think the dialog and characters interaction is the best part of this story. Kennedy and Brook’s relationship felt real in many levels. Memphis support and friendship with Kenney can me anyone jealous. One can’t help but wonder if you had a friend like Memphis, would you put your friendship at risk in the name of passion and heat?…
I think the chemistry between Kennedy and Memphis was great. Their first sexual encounter, their dirty talk and desires were detailed and hot. His ability to drive Kennedy crazy was sweet and funny at times. I enjoyed how well things developed but I was taken aback by Kennedy’s immaturity at times. Her inability to acknowledge her needs and desire as a woman were borderline annoying. I even enjoy the passion between her and Brook, though there aren’t many details about it, the way it was describe can make any woman ache with need. Though there is sex in this book, I do not think it can be considered Erotica, yes it is hot at times but there is a lot more substance and back story than sex. This is an author you may want to keep an eye on.

REVIEW: Where There Is A Will is a paranormal romance/ erotica story that brings us the sad story of a beautiful woman trapped between her insecurities and sexual taboo.
It all starts with a wish. Ever heard the saying, be careful what you wish for? Well that’s what happened to Haley. She lives a dull life, no boyfriend, one friend, a protective sister and overbearing parents. The fun starts once Haley’s wish comes true and it comes knocking on her door. The story then turns into an extreme make over for Haley, not just on how she looks but also on how she feels and experience her sexuality. She has desires, she has needs but they are all bundled up in her diary. She refuses to she is beautiful and that there is more to her than her appearance.
It was difficult for me to relate to Haley, I guess because I do not have a small town mentally nor I lack of confidence. I didn’t get her inhibitions and though women experience insecurities, Haley’s case was almost extreme. The author went into details of how poorly Haley saw herself and how others saw her. The self imposed pity was sad to say the least. The author however did a good job developing her character. Haley is a young woman from a very small town where everyone knows each others name and secrets. Her inhibitions and low self esteem have made her doubt herself as a woman. She lacks the enthusiasm of changing her life, until she meets Ryder. Ryder is a half angel half human. He is the solution Haley needs but the solution may be also her end.
Haley is a hidden gem in Ryder’s eyes. He sees her as the beautiful, sensual and sexual being she, but that may not be enough to help Haley. Both characters were charming, their dialog and interaction flowed smoothly and natural. Their attraction was energetic and quite sexual. Haley’s sexuality is put on display in more than one way, the story had fantastic erotic moments, others were sweet and tender and others pure carnal.
I liked how enthusiastic Ryder was on showing Haley how pleasurable life can be. I liked how she let herself enjoy the experiences that would soon mark the woman she would become. The story was nicely but predictable at times, however the author compensated by giving readers quite a few nicely detailed and erotic sex scene. Ryder is sexual, considerate, sensitive and caring. Haley is innocent, inhibited but not afraid of learning once her desires and need took her to the edge. Her innocence added a needed balance to the hot and steamy scenes but didn’t take away from the sensual and erotic relationship that developed between her and Ryder.
Do I recommend this book? Yes - if you love sinful angels that is(less)

REVIEW: In the past, way before I started blogging I enjoyed books and stories of paranormal, especially if the stories included succubus and incubus, I think I liked them because of their naughty nature. However, I have noticed that there is never enough development on their character and story. Their characters are always lacking in substance. However, after reading Starved For Love, I am happy to see the curse has been broken.
Starved For Love is the story of succubus Pia Blyton. Pia is in her mid twenties; she has a spunky personality, she is loved by her family and she believes in marrying for love. Unfortunately for Pia that is also a problem. As a succubus Pia knows that love is not an option, in order for her to survive she has to maintain an array of lovers so she can draw energy from her sexual encounters.
I have read succubus stories in the past, this one is quite different because unlike the other stories I read, the succubus is the main character. I enjoyed Pia, I liked her character, but I have reservations about her maturity. Though fascinating, her story felt awkward at times and even predictable. The story was entertaining but it dragged a little.
Though the story didn’t include any real action, the development was based on Pia’s journey to find the perfect man for her, one that she could love and establish a family like the one she grew with. The author did a nice job introducing these characters. One of my favorite was the vampire Zur-Sin. I would’ve liked to read more about him especially after learning he was Pia’s reason for being alive. I think the story is sweet, it just lacked development on certain characters but it also gave in-deep information about Mia’s struggles with her nature, men and love.
The story has hot and steamy sex scenes; they are descriptive enough to make the reader sweat. The male characters are extremely hot. There is an array of men in this book, from a hot and extremely sexy incubus and shifters to big and bad vampires and demons. This story has all the elements to make an enjoyable sexy paranormal read. However, be warned that you will not find a lot of drama or action. The story is based on Pia’s struggles with men and love. It is enjoyable, but do not expect kick-ass action.

Lustful Cravings is only 96 pages but do not let the length of the story fool you. This story introduces us to a new series that promises to be good. The plot isn’t complex yet it gives us a glimpse to what’s to come. The Valendite Breed isn’t your typical vampire breed. There is uniqueness to them. They are known to exist yet the knowledge of their existence is well protected. They live and walk among humans and serve a very specific purpose. I liked the story because it is different from other paranormal vampire series I have read. Their role is to help humans and their destiny is to find their mates which are possessed by one of the 7 deadly sins.
The Valendites Breed was created by scientists, genetically altered men for the main purpose of winning a war. These men were later given gifts that would change their future and the future of their species. I totally think this new concept of generically engineer sort of vampires brings the most needed change to an already saturated genre. Madden is a very powerful breed and his power comes in many forms. He is in charge of an immortal organization that forms a secret branch under the CIA. One of his many talents is that he is immune to certain type of magic. Because of the nature in which they have lived and moved throughout the world the chances to finding a mate is slim. When he finds Layla he knows she is the one. Layla knows she found her mate when her body can hardly contain the lust she felt when she met eyes with Madden.
I found these two characters so loving and cute. I totally enjoyed Layla’s character. She is smart, beautiful and sweet. Madden is sexy, intelligent and very manly and will not stop until he has made Layla his mate. There is an awesome twist to this story; it will make the reader wish they had their own Tre Adoro. The characters are likable, their dialog flows easily. There interaction is believable and their love and dedication to their mate will make your heart ache. I really enjoyed the author’s writing style. It is witty, imaginative and creative. I am looking forward to reading more from Paloma Beck an author you want to keep an eye on.(less)

Review: Covet is one of the hottest novela I have read in the paranormal genre and it is not going be the last. Felicity Heaton knows how to make it hot and sensual. Covet is the story of Javier and Lilah a vampire and a human slave. Though the story is short is it one that could almost leave you hyperventilating.
The plot is entertaining, Javier felt enthralled by Lilah’s beauty from the moment he saw her. The story flows easily and it is fast paced. The conflicts, the drama and the character’s chemistry is well thought and developed.

Hot Vampire Seduction is the short, sexy and enticing story of Aiden & Kelly. Aiden is a vampire warden and Kelly is a doctor in forensics. This is the 2ndbook in the Vampire Wardens Series. The story develops around the two many characters Aiden and Kelly. Aiden is the 2nd of three brothers. This story has reference to book 1 which may indicate it is a good idea to read them in order. That way one can have an understanding of the characters and the story.
This short story has an interesting plot; the warden is fighting against a new breed of werewolf by the name of Andre, who has developed a drug using a combination of werewolf blood and vampire which brings extreme pain in the absence of pleasure.
I like the two main characters, Aiden is a vampire who has had his share of pain. His has suffered a lot and knows that getting close to people isn’t smart since everyone always end up dead. His character is strong, intelligent and sexy. He isn’t the typical vampire male we get to read about in other books and stories. There is uniqueness to his character, perhaps his sensitivity, or just his character ability to bring emotions out of the reader.

Lover Reborn is book #10 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood and one of the most expected books in the series. As many other readers, I was looking forward to get my hands on this book. The wait is finally over. I admit I don’t really know where to start; it is safe to say that I was left in such a state that I almost didn’t write this review. I was left with more questions than answers and with the feeling that I was missing something. I’ll try to leave spoilers out.
A little background about Tohr: Tohr, as we know lost his shellan and unborn child. All throughout earlier books we see his character struggle while trying to find the means to keep on living after such a great loss.
Lover Reborn is the story of Tohr and NoOne and a great addition to the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series. In this installment of the BDB, there is a lot going on. Lover Reborn brings excitement and it certainly doesn’t fall short in the action. I usually enjoy how comical and “real” some of the scenes feel. J.R. as usual has a knack for writing humorous scenes and she does it well. The action in this book isn’t lacking, there is plenty of fighting and as usual the sex scenes keeps this read quite HOT.
There are a few things I loved about the book, one being that we get to know a lot more about Lassiter. In this book we can now understand a lot more of what his purpose is and what he needs to accomplished. J.R. did an outstanding job with his character. His character is likeable; funny, stubborn, gentle, and he is such a smartass. So far Lassiter is one of the greatest addition to the repertoire. Another great addition is Assail, I am totally hooked on this new intriguing and fascinating character. Though we don’t know much about him yet, I know this character is going to bring the necessary a most needed spark to keep the series interesting and engaging.
This book was not so much about Torh and NoOne, but a compilation of struggles between John & Xhex, Qhuinn – Blay & Layla, and the attempt for domination by Band of Bastards. I would’ve liked No’One and Tohr relationship to be kept a bit more casual, that way they would’ve given the opportunity to build a foundation and work on their relationship.
As usual, the interaction between the brothers flows easily however I felt that some parts of the story were forced onto the reader. I struggle somewhat with the dialog, I had to keep flipping pages and there was an instance when I had to put the book down and walk away. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing; but the vocabulary and dialog between characters can get confusing. What I find a bit disappointing is the back and forth between characters whose relationship was somewhat already established.
I was never a fan of John & Xhex, I found them frustrating and annoying but I understand that’s part of the drama needed to make a good story. I didn’t shed any tears, but I was touched by how well-developed some scenes were and how touching J.R.’s writing can be. The culmination to Qhuinn – Blay & Layla’s situation is one I am looking forward to read, bringing along the Band of Bastards and their impact in the story. I am looking forward to the next book. I am hoping we don’t have to wait another year.
Overall, Lover Reborn is a great story, one that will certainly touch your heart, you may experience frustration and you will definitely laugh. The combination of all of those feelings makes Lover Reborn one of the most touching if not the most touching story of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Highly recommended but keep an open mind.(less)

Natalie is a young doctor who moved to Arkansas to complete her residency at Little Rock Memorial Hospital after finishing medical school at UCLA. When Natalie was informed that there was an incoming rodeo injury she couldn’t help herself but think why people would put themselves in such dangerous situations. What she didn’t know was that soon she would meet the man who would totally change her life in more than one way. Luke Reilly is your typical cowboy. He is charming, sexy and knows how to ride.
He has been in the business since he was a young kid. He is a popular guy, loved by his family and friends and desired by all the women in town. When Reilly gets into an accident while at the rodeo he is brought to the ER where Natalie is a doctor. The chemistry between them is instant though Natalie fights to ignore it Luke has no shame in showing his interest in her.
There is much more to Luke than the size of his belt buckle. Luke isn’t the type of man Natalie is usually attracted to, but to her surprise her body reaction to his sex-appeal said otherwise. The story develops easily and fast. The characters are fun, sexy and sexual. Melissa Ecker certainly has a way with words, the sex is steamy, and the conversations feel real. The story is short, however it is well thought and developed.
