So now to have Becky’s brother find his happy ever after…well, when Becky is happy, Boss is happy! Eve was a “child” 12 years ago when she let others manipulate her into a loveless (on her side) marriage and a life she never wanted. (less)

Andrew and Cam are special characters to me. I've always wished to be spontaneous like Cam and to meet someone like Andrew (don't we all *wink, wink*). It took me a moment to fully remember what happened with Cam and Andrew at the end of THE EDGE OF NEVER. That excitement and joy turned to sadness and heartbreak once I remembered and read the blurb for THE EDGE OF ALWAYS. However, I should not have worried because J.A Redmerski is a wonderful story teller and manages to give readers exactly what they were hoping for an then some.
Andrew and Cam will experience some great challenges in their life together. The beat Andrew's illness and were blessed only to have tragedy strike again. This is one of those couples that can withstand absolutely anything except for the loss of one another. Never fear, though, the light at the end of the tunnel is still there and shinning brightly for the young couple.
Perhaps one of the most memorable moments of this book is the epilogue. Cam and Andrew's story comes full circle and readers will get a glimpse of their lives well into middle age and beyond. The epilogue also shows promise for the series to continue in an unexpected direction, and I am thrilled by the prospect.
If you have not read THE EDGE OF NEVER, I highly encourage you to. Go ahead and grab a copy of THE EDGE OF ALWAYS while you're at it because you will not be disappointed.

It took me a chapter or two to reacquaint myself, but once I figured out who everyone was, I couldn’t stop reading.
Hope is the daughter of Alexo. . .and sister to Faith. The shock of this immediately glued me to the story. I really had to learn more! Unlike in Faith’s story, Hope was raised knowing her heritage, aware of the war between her people and the Peacians. So when her father has a premonition of her needing aid from a born enemy, she has her doubts.
Enter Silas Carver! Not only is he from Peacio, but one of their Protectors and a close cousin to Prince Davio. Hope’s attraction to him is undeniable, and him to her as well. Sadly, happily-ever-after won’t work for these two. Silas demands Hope to set him free from their mated-bond. Of course she agrees, however, unexpectedly with a heavy heart. I couldn’t believe she released him, and so early in the story! UGH! Frustration ran high, but I continued reading more. Surely the author wouldn’t end their relationship before it even had a chance to begin, right?
Right I was! Hope’s father had a vision. She would need Silas to seek out her mother’s ancestors, in order to find answers to the deadly mind-merge her sister and her mate share. Oh, boy!
The bond between Hope and Silas held strong from the very beginning and as soon as Silas returns to her, Hope mind-merges with him, just as her sister had done with her mate.
The journey to set Silas and Hope free from the deadly curse pushes them to find Hope and Faith’s grandmother even quicker. . .and each day spent with the other, only increases their need and desire to be together. . .
Warrior held my attention from start to finish. Each obstacle Hope and Silas encountered had me jumping with joy, but often screaming in frustration. What made me fall in love with Warrior, is the heart thudding romance between the two main characters.
However, Warrior isn’t just a love story, it’s so much. . .more.(less)

I fell in love with Jake and his bad boy rocker attitude in THE MIGHTY STORM last year. Jake is far from perfect (even if he is drop dead sexy) and Tru is his perfect balance. WETHERING THE STORM may seem like a good ole, standard contemporary romance from the blurb. I am here to tell you that it is far from standard. It is so much more.
Tru and Jake will not have it easy. Even true love is never simple. The story begins with Jake telling Tru he doesn't want kids. Now of course we know this is just because he is scared, but Tru doesn't realize that. A hidden strain number one emerges on their relationship. Things only go seemingly downhill from there.
As I read this book, I thought to myself, poor Tru and Jake, but I ultimately knew there would be a happy ending. However, like any good writer, Samantha turned this certainty into heartbreak when Jake and Tru must deal with one of the biggest challenges and heartbreaks yet. Even their love for one another cannot necessarily overcome this hurdle.
While WETHERING THE STORM does not introduce any new challenges or concepts into the contemporary romance genre, it is a story all on its own, and an amazing one with excellent characters. I highly recommend this series (start at book 1!) if you are a fan of authors Kim Karr or M. Leighton. (less)
