Serious got a strike against him from me when he decided to see Laura upon his release from lock-up. He should have gone to visit Candy and his daughter first. She was so disappointed that her daddy didn't come to see her first thing. If he is going to go and have a child, she should be his first priority.
Draw 2 was an okay book for me. I get that this is a urban fiction book, but it was a little hard to read at times because of grammatical issues. I had to go back and re-read sentences because they didn't have proper punctuation. Because of this, I couldn't get into the story because I was paying attention to the way the book was written and not what was being said. Hopefully for Draw 3 this won't be an issue because I am not giving up on J-Real! I have to say though that J-Real really aced the steamy scenes in this book! I would like to see a more erotic fiction book written by J-Real!...more
My first reactions when I finished: Wow! This book was amazing! I also said: “What–that’s it?”, “What happens next”. The author left me wanting more!

My Review: I had to take a break while reading this book and read another book for a book tour. I didn’t want to put this book down AT ALL. When I was able to get back to it, I had no problem picking up where I left off. Laela and Quinton seemed like the perfect couple, but they both had issues that they needed to deal with. He had so many women in his past, but he wanted to turn a new leaf and marry Laela and be faithful to her, but can he? Laela, on the other hand, would like to try a threesome. Who would be #3 in their threesome, and will they even go through with it?
This book was highly erotic and had a great story to go along with it. I really don’t think the scenes could have been any steamier! The sex in this book was scorching HOT! I admit, I was highly aroused while I was reading this book. The characters were well thought out and I really felt connected with them. They seemed so real to me. They had so many things going on, and their lives all got intertwined. I was excited to see how it would all end up! I found my heart racing at times and my heart sinking at other times. I loved also how each chapter was a different character’s point of view, and under the character’s name the day and time was listed.
I am surprised that this is D.V. Hent’s first book. I am really looking forward to reading more of his books!
Favorite Character: Quinton. of course! I want to see what he does next! Least Favorite Character: Mike. He seems like just a jerk to Simone. I was very surprised what was revealed about him at the end though. I didn’t see that coming at all.
Favorite New Words From This Book: Mandingo (p.34) Slorny (p.52)
Favorite Quote (that doesn’t give too much away): P 31.
The kiss lingered on my lips; I licked them, hoping to rekindle the sensation, but it was a little too late. My body craved the feeling she’d left....more

What I liked about this book:
1. I was very excited to get a book about Dracula. 2. I really liked the cover. 3. The author is very talented at what she does. 4. I liked the sex scenes, but there weren't as many of them as I thought there would be. The book says it's for Twilight's grown up fans, but not quite as sexy as I would have thought.
What I didn't like:
1. I didn't like Jonathan and wished that Mina wouldn't have gone to him. 2. I didn't like the fact I didn't hear much about Dracula until the second half of the book. 3. I didn't like the way the book ended, she should have gone the the opposite of what she did. 4. I just felt like the story could have been told in fewer pages.

I tried reading it and read some other books in between. I decided that I really didn't care what happened, and I kind of flipped around and didn't want to waste my time any further with this book when I have so many other good books that I want to read....more
