I also really love her stand alone romances, nearly as much as I love her series so when I saw another one out I snatched it up!
It was a very cute book....but it dragged at many points for me. There always seems to be at least one unique pet or person and sometimes both in each of these romances. This one wasn't any different and as always I enjoyed them. Chuck and Stella are definately quirky!
There was a very suspenseful moment when she was cleaning the brewing machine....I thought that was an excellent if very small part of the book!
Loved the families, particularly our male characters family. I always wanted a big happy family and spaghetti Tuesdays in a small town like that.
I like the main couple's characters for the most part and I understand his "its just business" mentality but at times I want to shake him and say, really???
All in all, it was a cute book and I did enjoy it, but not as much as I have ones in the past. I just like the one's best where she writes alone. (less)

I've been a diehard Plum fan for a long time but I love the way these two characters play off each other and the whole magical aspect of it as well.
Still reading along....laughing outloud. I always picture Carl as a chimp but last night I was reading and I guess he is more like a little spider monkey kind of thing....whatever he is, Carl is funny as hell!! That monkey makes me laugh....a lot!! I really love the cast of characters surrounding the main characters. Crazy and funny, much like the cast that surrounds Stephanie Plum!!
Done! I loved this book...I love Diesel and Lizzie!
I love that the book is set in Salem, what could be more witchy then that! In a bakery where our heroine reigns as the cupcake queen. Lizzie and Diesel and Wulf are a lot like Plum and her two leading men and Glo is kind of like Lula...only not so much. The cast of characters is great, and I really love the way the regulars play off each other as the story goes on.
I like the plot of this series and as there are seven deadly sins, I imagine that we are guarenteed at least 5 more books before this series slows down...yay!!
Carl and Cat are great....they captivate me nearly as much as Diesel does. A well written, fun novel. Easy to read with laugh outloud hijinks through the entire book!

After reading this book, I think the Plum series will have serious competition! Diesel was a wonderful character anyway but drawing him out and letting the readers get more intimate with him was a great idea. He is such a charmer, I'm charmed believe me!
I like the nutty aspect of the book, the magical side is also great! The new characters....wow....my sides hurt from laughing with them so much! Really wonderful story. I am looking forward to the next book in this series. I don't know if it will be a continuation of this story or if Diesel will move on. I seriously hope it continues on with this storyline.

Well, book 15 was no disappointment, if anything they just keep getting better and better. I thought this was one of the most hysterical books of the series.
Stephanie has reached a new record of how many cars and homes were blown up/destroyed in her wake and of course ended up not only back in the buick but also her dad's cab!!
Stephanie and Morelli are off again and she is back staying at the Rangeman's office yet again with Rex and flirting with Ranger or should we say danger!!
Lula and Grandma team up with a fire fighter who likes to wear Lula's clothes for a barbeque contest which is actually the whole focal point of this book. The book opens with Lula witnessing a crime that centers around the barbeque king and it paves the way for cars being set on fire, men flashing themselves in the neighborhood, Lula getting stuck in the car window, getting covered in paint (more then once) and flour (once), holding up the dentist and his snooty receptionist and all kinds of odd ball situations that only our beloved Plum can drag us into!!
I am a huge fan of Janet Evanovich and naturally reccomend the Plum series for fun and laughs and easy reading!!! (less)
