I absolutely loved Gracie, because how could I not? She was plain funny with her damn curiosity! And how stubborn she could be! And she was exactly what was needed to keep Bobby Tom in line.
Sometimes I wanted to punch B.T. in the face but I couldn't bring myself to stay angry with him for long because he was just so clueless about his feelings! It was hilarious how he kept thinking he was making Gracie a favor (yeah he was so full of himself sometimes that I laughed so hard I cried) when he was also having the best time of his life with her! ...more

I was in the mood for something very specific and I didn't even know what until I read it and realized it was exactly what I was looking for! And I love when that happens while reading a book.
I could be crying my poor eyes out one moment, and I would be laughing like an idiot a few minutes later.
I loved Phoebe, I loved Dan, and more than anything else I loved the two of them together.
I don't want to give away anything but I need to get something off my chest: Reed, you effing b*stard!!!
And now, I'll just say thank God I was smart enough to buy the first 2 of the series because I would've been seriously frustrated if I couldn't start the next one right NOW. And I'm definitely ordering the other ones as soon as I finish writing this....more
A really, really fun book! If you're in a bad mood, it'll cheer you right up! And don't make plans --I read it in one sitting.
So...what about it...

Lola really never, ever, gave up on trying to get Dougie back -- even when he kept throwing daggers at her and quite frankly it was hilarious! Don't worry, you don't have to be a sadist to appreciate the way Doug shuts her down, you just can't not enjoy it with Lola being Lola!
Plus, you have to admit, that from Dougie's point of view, he could have been way meaner than that! I mean, the guy got dumped by the girl he thought was the love of his life when he was 18 (via a freaking letter!) with no real explanation, got his heart broken badly, and when he sees her again, he overhears that she broke up with him for money (thus cheapening even the memories he had of his first love)!
This leads to one thing I would've liked to have in this book: Dougie's POV!
I loved Lola's POV --it was plain funny, and I really didn't mind to have Gabe's and Sally's because I really liked them; but I guess I'm just greedy because I would've liked one more... ^^
And to be perfect, I wouldn't have minded 50 more pages to wrap up the end not as hastily. I feel like I didn't get to savor it as much as I could have. But overall, it's really a good read and entertaining as hell! ...more

And I'm glad I did. I'm definitely going to keep reading fae novels when I find them!
I really liked Aislinn, and sympathized with her when she felt drawn to the faery world against her better judgment.
Seth was plain adorable, and I couldn't stop reading for fear of what might happen between him and Ash (or what might not happen, to be more precise).
I'm really looking forward to knowing what comes next for them, and how they'll deal with his mortality in the next books. Luckily for me, I bought Ink Exchange at the same time as Wicked Lovely so I won't have to wait to find out.
As for Keenan, I was a little torn about his character. At first, I simply could not stand him, but then he had to go and do or say something so gentle and look so vulnerable that I couldn't keep glaring at the poor guy --especially in his scenes with Donia.
Which naturally brings me to Donia... I felt for her, I cried for her, I loved her. It's as simple as that. And I also can't wait to see how it goes for her and Keenan in the next books.
What else can I say? Hum, Beira was a villain I loved to hate. I mean, some of her dialog was just plain funny. I so wanted to punch her when she got Donia's name wrong! >.< Anyway, she was so annoying it was hilarious.
I also really enjoyed the secondary characters (for example some of Aislinn friends were plain awesome ^^) and hope to see more of them in the future. ...more
