I haven't heard of it until yesterday when a facebook book group I am on recommended it. I read the first chapter late last night and then got up early this morning and have sat in front of my computer reading all day. I could not stop reading.
This book is an erotic novel. It is very detailed about the sexual acts so this is for sure not for a young person to read or for someone who doesn't like erotic novels.
I am glad that I read this book before reading the reviews. So many people are categorizing this book with Twilight. I did not see many similarities with this book while I was reading it, to the Twilight series. And I have read and am a huge fan of Twilight. This book is about chains and whips and rough hot sex. This book was so well written and by far the best erotic novel that I have ever read. I can't wait to read the other two books in this trilogy.
After reading the book I went and did a little research on some of the reviews that claim this was like Twilight but with the names changed. I do see some similarities but nothing that would stand out. I for sure don't remember Edward ever tying Bella up or the Twilight book being so erotic.
I just hope other's will read this well written book and enjoy it as much as I did.. I'm glad I didn't read any reviews before hand so that my judgement wasn't clouded.(less)

A road trip that Courtney doesn't want to take now since her and Jordan broke up.
I really liked this book and read it in one sitting. I found myself smiling a lot and I also felt that Courtney and I were a lot alike. She sounded like me when I was in high school. Quiet, read a lot and always had to know what was going on. I still make plans and organize my life day by day so that there are no surprises.
The book was written in a he said she said sort of way. One chapter would be Courtney and another chapter would be Jordan. I really liked also how the book would go back to a few months later and the reason that Jordan broke up with Courtney. Which after reading the description I was not expecting to find out what I did!
I laughed a lot through this book and when I wasn't laughing I caught myself smiling. It was fun to read about their road trip, it was like I was part of it. I read this book in a day! I love finding books that I don't want to put down. If you are looking for a fun-light read and a little romance, this is for sure the book for you!(less)

It was so unusual but exciting and entertaining all at the same time.
In the beginning of the book you meet, Carol Wentz. The first 9 pages totally took me for a loop. I had no clue what was really going on. Carol was impersonating, Lydia who's daughter, Iris disappeared long ago in a chat room for missing persons. And then people start disappearing. I thought that maybe because of Breanna's ability to remember everything that happened in her life that maybe this book was taking a sort of paranormal turn and other's had abilities too. But that was not the case!
As the next couple of chapters went by I was engrossed in this book and loved it at page 82. And it just got better from there. As I read the book I kept thinking of how I would like my life if I remembered everything that happened. If I had flashbacks on every event that ever happened in my life and I honestly don't think I would want that. But missing persons investigator Breanna Spector has to live with it every day.
What I loved the most about this book was that I had no clue who was behind all the killing and people disappearing until the very end and even then it shocked me. I normally can guess about half way through in a suspense novel but in this one I had no idea.
I read the book in a day and a half and finished it late last night. Loved the ending but I didn't know this was going to be a series and the next book doesn't come out until the winter of 2013! Stinks I have to wait that long to see what happened to Breanna's sister all those years ago and what her "relationship" with Morasco might be.
If you like suspense novels this is a definite read!(less)

I love how many new characters are always present, you never get bored. I do have to say that I am getting a bit sick of hearing about Olivia (the judge). It seem's with so many characters in the books that the author would have given the spotlight to another person more. But it always comes back to Olivia and Jack. I am hoping that book 4 has a little less of her in it. If not, I will still read it. But I feel there isn't much more to Olivia and Jack's relationship that I already don't know about. I love too how Debbie Macomber incorporates love in all ages. From mid twenties, to forties, to fifties. It's just nice to now read one age group in a romance book. Such a well written series... On to book 4!(less)

The book start's off with a girl named, Liz. Liz is the popular girl in the school, normally a girl in a book like this get's on my nerves, only because stuck up girl's in real life get on my nerves that act like that, but Liz didn't. As the book kept going she started seeing her bad way's and how she was, and after she learn's something horrible that she did to someone who has become her friend she changes, for the better.
Right at the beginning of the book, Liz is dead. Everyone is saying that it's an accident, she was celebrating on her parent's boat with a few of her friend's for her birthday and they were drinking. The really fun part of this book is that right after she dies someone else who is dead come's to her, his name is, Alex and he was killed a year earlier and no one has discovered who it was that killed him. As the book goes on it turns into a mystery. Around chapter Nineteen, I sort of figured out who the person might have been, I wasn't a hundred percent sure but I had a good guess and as the book went on and it got to the end, I was right! I love when I read a book and it turn's out that i'm right. Saying that though, the book was not predictable, I have read some mysteries where the ending was so predictable that it took away from the story, that was not the case with this book.
Really enjoyed this book and will for sure be reading another book by Warman. (less)

It was only slow through the first chapter and a little of the second but then I started to really get into it and read it in one sitting. I actually stayed up until 11:30 last night just so that I could finish it and see how it ended. One thing that I absolutely loved about this book was all the music. I am a huge music lover. I always have music playing if i'm cleaning, on the computer or like now, writing a review. (If anyone is wondering I am listening to "Mr. Know It All" by Kelly Clarkson.) I also play music depending on my mood, it always puts me in a better mood to hear songs that are relating to how I am feeling. I really liked how the book ended. This book kept you flipping the pages. I wanted to know what ended up happening between Del and Livia. What happens to Del and his sex offender status. Saying that, through the whole book I just could not wrap my head around him getting in trouble for what he did. I think that's what kept me so interested was that I couldn't believe that happened to him and I had to know how it turned out for him. This was just an all around great book and I really enjoyed it. And I love the cover of this book, it was actually the first thing that drew me into the story. And it first perfectly with my favorite month, October.. =)(less)

She was just a nice person who tried to see the good in everyone. So when the outsider Brandon comes into the picture, Celeste doesn't see him from the boy from the wrong side of town, she sees past him and feels an instant connection. One day Celeste and her two best friends decide to go to a psychic and get their future told. The psychic told Celeste to not kiss anyone under a full moon, but does she listen..... no. But that just made the book so much better and kept you interested. There are a lot of twists and turns, you learn a lot about people that you thought were good people at the beginning of the book. And you also learn that a few people in the town have been keeping secrets.. A great read. I read it in two days...(less)
