This was beautifully written from start to finish. The author doesn't use tricky language that's hard to understand. She doesn't go on and on with the details like a lot of fantasy writers out there, which by the way drives me insane.
The characters have cool names and they can do cool stuff ( magical stuff). This is a lot different than Twilight, which I know most kids are hooked on right now. The author was very creative. Good books like this come out every so often. I never got bored through the entire thing.
The author makes Crisilin and Chalom heroes in a since. They save the future Queldas in Tynan. Like every hero they go through a journey. They follow the steps that heroes go on to become a hero. They lose somebody they love. They hurt in some way or fashion. The characters pretty much have everything happen to them.(less)

L.A. Banks is one of the worst authors out there. This series is just like the rest of her. It makes me sick. The whole book is crap. The characters are crazy. The characters are terrible vampires that don't impress me. There is just one side to them. The language in this book is crude. Her writing style sucks. It amazes me these books are published. This is simply one of the worst books in history. I couldn't even finish it. I read one chapter and put it down. Yeah-it was that bad. Any vampire book is better than something written L.A. Banks. Another problem is her word choice isn't very good. She always uses the same words. The vampires in this book remind of hoodlums. Every one in the book is too juvenile. Come on I don't want to hear a cuss word every 2 or 3 pages or more. The woman doesn't know where to drop the bombs. It's way too out of the place. Take all of that and the book wouldn't be so bad. The storyline is okay, but I can't get over this other stuff that is in there. This worse than the books you have to read in school.(less)

It's very confusing to read. I want to see the movie though because it goes faster than the book. This book contains too much trivia for me. This book doesn't make sense. Perhaps the reason why is because it is a translation. The book was written originally in German than translated to English. Maggie is visited by Dustfinger a character that came out of a book. Silvertongue, Maggie's father has this ability that reads people right out of a book. Capricorn a mean and selfish king wants all copies of the book destroyed because he doesn't want to go back home. Maggie and Silvertongue are betrayed by Dustfinger who wants to go home, but never will be able to return if lets Capricorn have it his way. Dustfinger believes there is hope he may return but that is impossible since this book has been burned. Capricorn locks them up in a cage to keep them from escaping. However they manage to escape anyway. Basra tries to hunt them to bring them back to Capricorn but fails. Capricorn wants Silvertongue so he can become rich by picking up money from a book. Though I really want to see the movie to see which one is better. If the book sped up a bit I could read through the whole thing, but I couldn't. The fantasy elements of the book were okay. They all seemed too much alike for me.(less)

I can't read books anymore that I'm not interested in. I got 30 pages and then went screw it. The author had nothing to give a 30 pages, so I set it down. By at most a book should get interesting at page 15.(less)

It was somewhat accurate and somewhat not. William Shakespeare writes a lot of plays about real and fictional characters. What I dislike the most is how it is written in Old English. Even his revised copies are difficult to read. I can't relate to any of the characters. I don't even find this play entertaining. I hate how you have to read so much William Shakespeare. I'm not a fan of him at all. All the rhythmic makes it too confusing. I know it was for them to memorize lines but it still is very annoying evaluating sentence by sentence. The other thing I don't like is how his characters all the same in all of his plays. It's same type of character for each. Another thing I dislike about Shakespeare is that all of his plays have violence in them. Someone always dies in Shakespeare. His plays were way too much the same. He kept writing the same thing over and over again. When he has romance it is just lust. Nobody is really in love in his plays.Shakespeare gives the history of how the senators plotted to kill Julius Caesar of Rome. Julius had some problems of him own. He had way too many lovers and became greedy. He wanted Rome to be the biggest empire and even invaded people who did no harm to him. He tortured too many of those people. The senators killed him because he was becoming to powerful. The whole outcome was a disaster. Rulers tend to make the same mistakes over and over again. The senators would have done the same thing as Caesar if the people of Rome didn't kill them or hunt them down. Many of them ran because of fear of the Roman people. I would never read Shakespeare again if I didn't have too.(less)

I absolutely hated most of the characters in the book. They sound like an evil society. The book is very cruel. I picked up this book, because I thought it would be good, but it wasn't. I don't see how this book is so popular.
House Do-Ourden gets on my nerves. I don't like the idea with all the women having the power. I think the men in this story are downgraded. The drow men seem so unimportant. I'm so sick of Matron Malice. The name really suits her well. She's the worst one of them all. She wants her son Drizzt dead. Her and her beliefs about the Spider Queen. She makes so where she's always right and justifyable. She's a mad woman. Drizzt's sisters are a pain. The only characters that are okay are Drizzt and Zak. I don't like Alton DeVir very much. He seems to have no reason behind wanting to kill Drizzt. He should be getting rid of the rest of the house, and quit worrying about him. The characters seem very corrupt.
This book lacks a lot of plot to it. It's just killing drow elves. It's just cold-blooded murder. I don't see the point to it all. It's very annoying hearing about Matron Malice and Matron Sinafay plotting against each other. Both of them are cruel women of their houses. I absolutely hate the ending. The ending is very weak. Drizzt's kills to wizards and poff he's gone. (less)

She is too radical for this country. This woman is crazy in her political ideals. Don't trust a Tea party member. The Tea party is a party on crack. She says she's against teens getting pregnant, when he daughter during the presidential election got pregnant. Palin is the governor of Alaska. That says lot. Not. Alaska doesn't have that big of a population. McCain should never had her under his ticket. She didn't attract anybody's attention. Now supposedly she wants to run for president. Don't vote for her. Worse than Bush. You'll get your civil liberties taken away by her. The law doesn't apply to her she thinks. Do as I say, not what I do. That would be Palin.(less)

But this book puts zombies on a whole new level. This book like others have used diseases to explain how zombies became who they are.
Mary is very brave, but she also is very stupid. I feel sorry for her. Both of her parents have become Mudo. Her brother Jed treats her very badly. He kicks her out of the house, and makes her go live with the sisters.
The sisterhood is very frightening. Most of the women are absolutely crazy. They threaten to feed Mary to the Mudo. I think these women have way too much power. It seems like their trying to make more zombies. They bring Gabrielle who becomes a Breaker. The sisterhood and the Mudo are out of control.
Mary is in love with Travis. She must marry Harry instead. Cass loves Harry, but must Travis instead. I don't understand why Mary and Cass won't trade husbands.
The end is very sad. The villages begin to disappear. Mary and her family escape from the village just in time. Jedd wife however is turning into a Mudo. (less)

Even though I didn't read the books in order I did understand this book.
Dee Davis uses great descriptions. The plot is really good. Someone steals some weapons from the British government and is trying to frame Tyler in the process. First the thief uses Tyler's scarf to lure her. The culprit goes way too far. He kills Tyler's stepmother and father. He also places cameras throughout her house including the bedroom and the bathroom. That is just sick.
This book alone has made me want to read the rest of the books in the series. I may even try Davis's other books. This book didn't annoy me at all. (less)

The author does a great job with the underworld and overworld being indifferences to each other than simply opposites. They are basically the same thing but one above and one under.
Krystine is easy to like. She is very much an earth woman. It sings to her. The descriptions are short and get to the point not dragged on into infinity. I am usually quite skeptical about short stories. When I saw how short it was I went oh my goodness. The author lived up to my expectations that a good book should be. I felt like a lot was left out like the Enchantress and the princesses. I want to know more about them. I think they may be in another book.(less)

I would like to see where the author goes with this that is if she plans to write more books that are sequels.
Cade Shepherd wakes up in a hotel room, remembering nothing about him. I feel sorry for the guy. He doesn't know where he is from, what his name is, or anything else about him. I would be completely freaked out if I ended up in a motel room and had no idea as to how I got there. Cade's life is one big mystery. Cade must find out who he is.
Embry goes after Cade, because she wants her father set free. Embry and Cade's love is tested many times. Embry loves him, but can't be with him. Cade has no idea what is really going on. Embry does restore his memories, but you can tell their still are some gaps.
I absolutely loved the ending. You';; find out why when you read it. The author for the most part did a good job. No overuse of bad language. The sex wasn't all that great. It could have been written better, but hey she did a good job on the first one.(less)
