A inside look at the recent past, the writer gives an honest account of my childhood heroes while being careful not to tear them down. The stories are bright and the gentle way the past is brought into the present gives tons of insight. A must read for any basketball fan.(less)

The goal of continuing to grow and being willing to follow God's leading in your church is worthy of commendation. However, that this church was not guided by scripture in there changes in any way deemed worthy of mentioning is a problem that is hard to ignore.(less)

Laced with miraculous stories of God's power and breakthrough, my 3rd read of this book was the most inspiring yet. Great stories are much more descriptive than prescriptive which makes this book find a great place to minister to the pastor, church goer, and/or Christian with equal effectiveness.(less)

While I personally tend towards a more prudish approach than they take in teaching sexual education, they were faithful to Scripture and practical in approach. I have never read a complementarian marriage book which placed more emphasis on the man's responsibility to be a friend, confidant, and servant. For that I am truly thankful. Many marriages would benefit from reading this book.(less)
