I loved this book! It’s such a fun, engaging, original, witty, entertaining, and sexy romance with unforgettable characters!
Ronan...Rawrr...What can I say, ladies and gents? He is one of the sexiest, sweetest, naughtiest, funniest, dreamiest, yummiest, most devoted and protective, and downright deliciously dirty heroes I’ve had the immense pleasure of reading and fantasizing about in quite a while.
I might have been a little mesmerized for a moment as I took in the sight of her shapely backside. It was incredible. I just wanted to spank it and bite it and worship it and completely fucking defile it.
“I’ve always wanted you to eat me like an éclair.”
OH MY! Yes, please!
Annie, on the other hand, drove me nuts at times. I understood her shyness and awkwardness and sympathized with her abandonment issues and fears. I also found certain aspects of her personality endearing, especially her hilarious tendency to spout nonsensical swear words and phrases when she’s nervous. I heard her mutter, “Crappity, crap, crapper. Fuck a duck and smack a rapper...” However, her continued reluctance and resistance to Ronan really baffled, annoyed, and frustrated me. But I cheered (view spoiler)[at the end when she finally found her courage and put all her virtual blog cards on the table to prove her love to Ronan (hide spoiler)].
This is one of my favorite reads so far for 2015, and Ronan is a swoon-worthy romance hero who’s not to be missed!

I really enjoyed this! Anna drove me nuts to the point that I honestly didn’t understand why Drew even bothered with her, but I ended up liking her better towards the latter part of the book. Drew was a besotted sweetheart for the most part, despite a few asshat moments near the end. The sex scenes were smoking hot! I wanted a bit more from the ending but the epilogue was nice. I’m looking forward to Gray’s book, the, The Friend Zone....more

I really struggled with this initially, mainly because I was uber annoyed with the heroine, but I ended up enjoying it. There’s lots of clichés and manufactured melodrama, but I liked that the H/h communicated about their pasts, insecurities, vulnerabilities, and issues, in between all their explosive sexcapades, that is, which there’s a ton (too much) of.
I loved the secondary characters, friendships, and the relationship between the band members. I can’t wait for David and Thea’s story, Rock Courtship, and I hope Singh plans to write books for Charlie and T-Rex and Noah and Kit....more
Nina Lane’s Spiral of Bliss series was one of my favorites of last year. So I was ecstatic about this spin-off s4 ½ stars – Contemporary/Erotic Romance
Nina Lane’s Spiral of Bliss series was one of my favorites of last year. So I was ecstatic about this spin-off standalone novel featuring Dean’s best friend, Kelsey, and brother, Archer. Break the Sky is an emotional, passionate erotic contemporary that I highly enjoyed, and it mostly satisfied my sky high expectations. I did have some quibbles though, mainly with the heroine and how much the story seemed to focus on her.
If I was rating this for the hero, it would get a big, gooey, decadent 5++ stars. I loved Archer! He’s such a complex, captivating, sexy romantic lead. I loved his enigmatic, bad boy persona, rough edges, boyish humor, sweet, caring, gentle side, vulnerability, and strength, and he is one seriously hot, yummy dirty talker and dominate lover! Whew!Yowza! But it seemed like he was always the one pursuing, challenging, giving, and accepting and also constantly taking all of Kelsey’s sh*t.
I really liked Kelsey in the previous Spiral of Bliss books, but she grated on my nerves in this. She spent way too much time in her head. Everything was always about her. (view spoiler)[She often lashed out at Archer and seemed ashamed of him and the way he made her feel. I expected Kelsey to want to know more about him and his artistic side, stand up for him with Dean and others, and fight harder for him and their relationship. (hide spoiler)] I felt like Archer got somewhat shortchanged, and I wanted more and better for him, I guess. I just needed MORE ARCHER!!!!
Still, Break the Sky is one of the best erotic romances I’ve read so far this year with sensual, memorable, scorching hot love scenes and an unforgettable, totally swoon-worthy hero. 4 ½ stars!
Oh Holy Yowza! Cover Hotness Alert! Come to Momma!
I really enjoyed this one! I’ve read every single KH book and despite their more chick-lit feel and the no/very low s4-4 ½ stars – Contemporary Romance
I really enjoyed this one! I’ve read every single KH book and despite their more chick-lit feel and the no/very low steam, fade to black love scenes, I always somehow find myself engaged, charmed, and entertained by her witty writing, fun, quirky characters, and sweet, humorous stories.
KH created another genuine, flawed, cute, funny, strong, insecure, loveable, lonely, relatable heroine in Emmaline and made me feel every emotion right along with her. Jack was a perfect, imperfect, romantic hero and exactly what she needed. I just wish there had been a lot more page time spent on Em and Jack together and much less on detailing their past relationships with their uber annoying exes. The ending felt slightly rushed, and I wanted a teensy bit more of an apology and groveling on Jack’s part. And of course, I keep hoping/wishing that KH will turn up the heat in her books by about 200 degrees! But it’s still a great read that made me feel, smile, laugh, and cry, so 4-4 ½ highly enjoyable stars!...more

I really enjoyed this and loved that the H/h were real, engaging characters in their mid-40’s. I just wish it had been longer with an epilogue to round things out, but still a very satisfying, entertaining, sexy read. Oh, and it’s free right now, so even better!...more

This quote from Augustus Waters in The Fault in Our Stars perfectly expresses my feelings about this book.
“My thoughts are stars I can’t fathom into constellations.”
I’m just incapable of coherently and intelligently expressing my myriad, jumbled mix of thoughts and emotions about this astoundingly beautiful, resonant, insightful, heartbreaking, funny, existential, quirky, charming, poignant, and unforgettable love story.
The Fault in Our Stars eloquently emphasizes the inherent and indomitable privilege and gift in simply loving someone. It’s a book that left me emotionally gutted, inspired and uplifted, and reverently awed over the transformative power of the written word. Hazel and Gus will stay with me, forever....more
This is a pretty decent, steamy “best friends to lovers” story, but I didn’t love it. The H/h acted a little t3 stars – Contemporary/New Adult Romance
This is a pretty decent, steamy “best friends to lovers” story, but I didn’t love it. The H/h acted a little too immature for my taste, and it seemed a bit unconvincing that they were both so clueless regarding each other’s true feelings. I also felt like Kyler’s manwhore past was forgiven rather easily, and I just never really warmed up to him or Sydney....more
