Rayona is the daughter of Christine and they used to live in Seattle until they leave because Christine was two months late behind rent and she goes to visit Ida because she finds out that she is sick and needs to leave Rayona with someone she trusts. The book tells one story in three point of views, Rayona’s, Christine’s, and Ida‘s. Rayona’s conflict is with her mother because at some point of the book Christine leaves her on a reservation with her “mother”(Ida). Christine’s conflict is with her “mother” because she and Ida never got along, and she always thought that Ida always put her “brother” first(Lee) even though she and Lee are close. Ida’s conflict is what sums the story up because she tells herself of what really happens in the past.
When I was reading the book, I made a text-to-text connection to the book Breaking Dawn. My text-to-text was about Bella having Renesme and Ida with Christine because when Bella had Renesme The Voultri thought that she was a vampire when she had her, but she wasn’t and it is forbidden to have a child if you are a vampire so they went after them. With Ida it’s different because in a way when everyone believed that Christine was Ida’s child they criticized her and made her an outcast or just different. So I connected because they were in somewhat of the same situation.
I gave this book 2 stars because the beginning sucks (For me at least)! The book didn’t have enough conflict, except in the end because Ida’s Story is the one that has all of the details of what happens. I wouldn’t recommend this book myself, but if anyone Is the kind of reader that likes this author and Likes sort realistic fiction books then be my guest and read it. (less)

She has too froms, one she keeps hidden from humans and the other the rest of the pack can only see. Vivian has lost her father from a accident that cuases for the loss of a leader and he removel of her home. In the book she will face torments from the group who all want to be her mate but she falls for a boy named Adien. Gabriel the futre leadertries to win Vivan over, but she dosn't pay any mind and then she does something that puts the whole pack in jepordy. One part of the book Vivian has a jelouesy point. that Reminds me of Penlope hayes in the luxe. Penolpe was trying to sabatosie the wedding that was planed for Elizabeth becuse she was to marry Penoles old boyfriend whom she still liked. this reminds me of Vivians situation becuse she couldn't stand to see another girl in Adiens arms so she diliberatly destroyed thatgirls rooms. I give this book 3 stars becuse it was great but there was something missing form the story. I would reccomend this book to any one who read Twilight(warning this isn't just like Twilight becuse it dosn't have that glueing your face to the book kind of feeling).(less)

Then when a soul named wanderer took over a girl named Melanie, it changed her perspective of everything. So now Wanderer and Melanie try to look for the place that Melanie's Uncle showed Melanie before, together.(less)

Inside she holds her families secrets, with her own. In this book she will have to choose between her family and her love. Diana Holland her sister, has an affair with New York’s well known Bachelor Henry Schoonmaker who is engaged to her sister. And with a plot to destroy this is Penelope Hayes, Elizabeth‘s so called “best friend” and to help her is a former house maid named Lina who knows Elizabeth’s secret. This book reminded of Eclipse. How Bella had to choose between loving Edward, or picking Jacob. By choosing Edward(the love of her life) and leaving everything behind, or choosing Jacob to have a “normal” life. The Luxe reminded me of Eclipse because Elizabeth sort of had the same problem just with a twist to it, like for example instead of choosing between vampire and werewolf, she had to choose between family and duty to her love. I would give this book 4 stars because Even though the beginning wasn't that great, when you get to the middle it like what will she do next, like I stopped reading because I never wanted to see what another character said I didn‘t like her. I would recommend this book to people who have read Gossip girl(just a hint I never read gossip girl any way but I figure it must be related like cousins).(less)

In Europe she meets Aunt Penn, and her cousins Piper, Isaac, Osbert, and Edmond. During her stay she and her little family get in between the middle of a war, after they are removed from there home and separated because the army takes it over to use as shelter. Now they have to find a way to survive and get back together.
This book reminds me of the troops Iraq. This reminded me of the war because while they are having a war, they are ruining the lives of the innocent people around them. That what happened to Daisy, Aunt Penn, Piper, Isaac, Osbert, and Edmond, they all got separated because of the war surrounding them.
I gave this book four stars because it had this kind of had this intensity of weather or not you find out what happens to who and because it had this kind of disturbing feeling but not ion a bad way (it‘s just a relationship that‘s disturbing in the book). I would recommend this book to anyone who likes survival books (and a little romantic but mostly survival.) (less)

The captive is where Cassie and the circle have to figure out you is causing all of the deaths to the town of Salem. Meanwhile Cassie is being taken advantage of Faye, because she was seen kissing her “big sister’s” boyfriend Adam. Cassie trying not to get caught goes and snoops around to find that there are a lot of coincidences that connect the past to the present with all of the fatalities, but what?
This part of the book reminded me of a Nancy drew books because Cassie id like Nancy drew. She is finding clues of what happened like she had related the deaths. And Nancy drew looks for clues that lead to mysterious that have been unsolved.
I give this book 5 stars because it was really good with details and very dramatic relationships with the people that would have never worked together.(less)

Cassie has to make an impossible decision to choose either Diana or Faye. If Cassie chose’s Diana things will be how they are now, nothing will change. If Cassie chose’s Faye it will be for all the wrong reasons. If Cassie doesn’t choose Faye then, Faye will tell Diana what Cassie and Adam did behind Diana’s back, but that can‘t happen because it would crush Diana. Cassie decision could affect the lives of everyone in the circle.
This book reminds me of Harry potter. because Harry either had to give in to voldemort or fight against him. In the end Harry one and voldemort lost. Cassie can fight against Faye and choose Diana or give into her and maybe, possibly destroy them all.
I give this book 4 stars because it was really interesting in the end when Cassie finds out a secret about her family, and how much power she really has over everything. I would recommend this to people who like fiction books or at least read some kind of magical kind of things. (less)

Mary's grandmother was accused for being a witch and was hanged because of it. To escape the same fate, Mary sent to America. Eventually people start to get worried that there was a which among them because of all the things that happened to them of the ship. Mary now has a certain amount of time to think of a plan before people start to point their fingers towards her.
This book reminds me of people when they get in trouble. Some people try to cover things up like criminals. Others Deny things and blame them on others with lies like little kids so they don‘t get in trouble. This reminds me of Mary lying the fact that she was a witch, but she did it to protect her life.
I give this book 3 stars because the story was good, just a little to much believe in it for me, and there were some parts I thought were just dumb. but the book was good.(less)

Then Stefan leaves to become human himself so that he and Elena can live together normally, but is betrayed and is taken to the Shi no Shi and doesn’t return back to her. Damon has probably made a deal with a devil like creature, and is acting strange and so are some girls in Fell's church. Now she Matt, Meredith and Bonnie have to find out what is driving Fell's church crazy this time.
This book reminds me of Bella because when she thought James had her mother she went by herself to save her mom and to make sure Edward and the others don't get hurt because of her. In the Nightfall, Elena has to find her white power or give herself up and die herself (again) along with her friends, because just since she gave herself up the Kitsune aren't just going to give the others up.
I give this book five stars because it had parts of the book that were really intense and other parts of the book where they were good but still great. the only thing about the book that I didn't like was that Elena seemed like she was the center of attention like all the others were not that important That all the problems were caused by her, and that he had to take the fall for everyone else and it could be no one else but her. Overall though the book was great! (less)

The Initiation is about a girl named Cassie Blake, who goes from California to a town called New Salem with her mother to help her grandmother. There she meets a boy named Adam who she falls for, and a group of people, which just so happens that everyone is afraid of. Cassie now finds dark secrets about this group of teenagers and this town. This Secret Circle may help Cassie find what been missing her whole life or it may just as well kill her.
One thing that this book reminds me of a show called 6teen because there was this one episode where Jonsey, Jude, Wyatt, and Jen had to pick either Nikki or Caitlin, but they wind up making up and everything goes back to normal at Jude’s pet fish’s funeral. Cassie had they same kind of situation except she had to choose one of them and she picks Diana (a girl from the club) and Adam agrees with her because he was one of people she had to pick. She and Adam swear that they would never hurt Diana (emotionally).
I give this part of the book 5 stars because it is so intense in a certain part of the book (which I cannot reveal unless you read the book). I recommend this to anyone who read The Vampire Diaries or just books about magic because this book has nothing to do with vampires. (less)

Cassie finds out that she has a powerful line in her family. She also finds out one dreadful thing about black John. He’s her father. Now she either has to kill her own father and let everyone die or join him to reign at his side and carry on what he had begun with the .
This book actually reminds me of star wars because Luke Skywalker was good until he became the apprentice of that evil guy who was with the empire. He only did it to protect his girlfriend so he could save her.
I give this book 5 stars because it was so intense (when you know what’s happening , but still maybe even not then!) I loved this book! I would recommend this book to anyone who has read L. J. smith’s books. Their awesome! (less)

Greg was humiliated and drove crazy by his mother and father and his best friend Rowley. his biggest conflict is what if his summer secret got out.
This book reminds me of teenagers in high school because some people have people that drive them crazy, things like school, home, even best friends.
I give this book 3 stars because it wasn't that funny and because it didn't have any kind of main conflict like other books I have read. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes comic books, just with a little more words.(less)

This book reminds me of a show I saw before. Everyone is confused in the show and there all different in a lot of ways. The boy is crazy, and stubborn, the girl cries all the time and has a crush on the other boy in the group who’s very calm and cool. They boy who is calm and cool is on a quest for power and will stop at nothing for it and the girl tries to stop him, Like the way Mikuzu tries to stop Sato of sacrificing his body for his dead sister who he believes died because of him.
This book was good so I would give it 4 stars. I loved the art and the story. It was just confusing on one part, but overall this book was great. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes comics. (less)
