I read this book because I had to see how this was going to work. I loved Tess, who never gave up and who tried to the end to help people that didn't care if she lived or died. She also spent a lot of time try8ing to talk herself out of caring for a many solely based on station. While I understand why, it upset me to no end. Just about ever aspect of Tess's servant life upset me. I loved that this was set on the Titanic, it is something everyone knows and was rather well done. The only thing that I was disappointed about was that I didn't feel enough time was dedicated to the sinking of the ship. But all in all I really enjoyed it. Great characters, story, and setting. There was drama, danger, love, and excitement, just enough of everything to make it great. I hope all of you give it a try. I give this one 4 stars!...more

All untilThis novella took us along for a ride with Della, a normal teenager, who is happy at home, has friends, and a boyfriend she is crazy about. All until one night she thinks she sees the ghost of her cousin. She ends up in the middle of a gang fight and from there life gets really strange. She finds out that her cousin isn't dead, but a vampire and that he has activated the vampire virus in her, after a very sick few days she wakes up and starts to learn about the new Della, while trying to figure everything out she finds the phone number for Camp Shadow Falls. That is where we leave Della. This was a cool short story, Della is pretty cool, and the whole take on vampires seems just different enough to be a fresh take on the subject. When I finished this I quickly jumped into Born at Midnight, and while this didn't feel like a required read to understand Born at Midnight I am glad I read it first. I give this novella 4 stars!...more

Eugenie seemed to just have impossible situations continually thrust in front of her. I did enjoy seeing he pregnancy unfold, and how she kept herself safe. Watching her make the decision to go to the otherworld to save her people from the blight that is plaguing only certain areas of the otherworld. he whole situation broke my heart. The journey through the otherworld bothered me no because the action or adventure weren't there but because everyday was another day away from the twins. I will say that the ending of this book has me on the fence. I loved this book, and I was mostly happy with the ending because it gave me hope that one day she might write more, maybe not about Eugenie, maybe about the twins either is fine with me. But even if she doesn't ever come back to this series I am still happy with the ending it wasn't all tied up, but it was wrapped up enough to give me closure. I give this book and this series 5 stars!...more

This was a great story from start to finish. I loved the setting that was New 2. It seemed so beautiful yet creepy all at the same time. I think I also fell in love with Ari, self discovery isn't always easy especially when you discover that you miles from ordinary. I really felt that she mostly handled herself well and that she was a strong main character. I was a little put off by the insta connection between her and Sebastian, but through out the story it seemed to work itself out. I liked the group of "misfits" that she falls in with, especially Violet she was such a great character. My favorite thing here though had to be the way that mythology was worked into the story. I kind of had a feeling for where it was going, but wasn't really sure how we were going to get there until we had arrived. This was a quick read that left me wanting more. I'm really excited for more books in this series and I am giving this one 5 stars!...more

I love everything about these books! Merit is one of my favorite characters. I really enjoyed watching Merit try to figure out what was wrong with the vampires and who was causing the problem. Her first reaction was Celina, but the GP has basically put her out of bounds for Merit. But she was tough, tenacious, and pretty kick ass. In the end I think you will be shocked by the conclusion of this mystery. I loved Eathen! What I wouldn't give to have him "chase" me the way he "chased" Merit. The ending to this book left me flabbergasted, but at the same time I can't wait to read the next book to see just where this is all going. I give this one 5 stars! ...more

I need to know what happens next! This book focuses on Kylie, a normal girl who is just trying to deal with divorcing parents and the heartbreak of being dumped. After the cops raid a party where Kylie's only crime was being there her mother decides to send her to Camp Shadowfalls. Kylie goes thinking this is a camp for juvenile delinquents. Quickly Kylie learns that everything isn't what it seems. Kylie finds out why she is really at this camp but is sure that someone somewhere is wrong and she doesn't belong there. While trying to figure out the truth Kylie meets some new friends and we get reintroduced to Della. Watching Kylie try to figure everything out while coming to terms with all the new things happening around her. We also meet Derek and Lucas. *Swoon* This is one triangle I can't seem to settle on one side or the other,. Now I said this book left me wanting more...We learn just enough about Kylie to resolve this book, but not enough to fully satisfy! I loved the characters, the setting, and the story was told very well. I highly recommend this book to everyone. I give this one 4 stars!...more

I loved Shiver and Linger, and while I liked Forever I didn't love it. I did like Grace as a wolf and watching her stuggle with the shifting until it was warm enough for her to stay human. I truley feel that all of that added something great to Grace's character. I wasn't a huge Sam fan in this book, he seemed so negative, and ready to give up. I did love Cole though, and his experiments. I feel like I finally got to know the real Cole! I love the dynamic between Isabel and Cole, and how it evolved through the book, and Same and Grace were well...Sam and Grace...The story in this book was fitting for the final chapter in this series, but it didn't grab me the way the other 2 books did. The one thing I won't complain about is that it wasn't all wrapped up with a pretty bow, but it gave me the closure I needed to be satisfied by this book, and the series. I am giving this one 3.5 stars! I do recommend this whole series to everyone though....more

I love everything about it. Aden by himself is pretty awesome, once you add in the souls he is just like the perfect character. Mary Anne, Victoria, and Riley are a great cast too! I feel that there has been a great deal of character growth for all the characters. They have all been through so much. I think that this book alone tested them each in many different ways, and I can't wait to see where they go from here. The over arching story for this series has been great thus far and I am dying for the next taste all ready! But the major story plots in this book really seemed to turn everyone upside down and inside out before everything was said and done. It was an amazing emotional trip that I am so glad I took. I look forward to more in this series and hope that you guys will give it a try if you haven't already. I give this one 4 stars!...more

I was afraid I wouldn't like it as much as the Darkest Powers books. Once I got past that fear I loved this book. Maya was pretty awesome! She is adopted, but happy and loved, she likes where she lives and has an afinity for animals. She takes care of injured animals and releases them back into the wild. Her best friend Daniel always has her back and is someone I would love to hang out with. I also really liked Rafe, even if he wasn't always doing what I thought he should be.
Watching Maya and Daniel investigate the reporter who shows up in there tiny town was fun, yet a little spooky. And watching Maya and Rafe get to know eachother was both heart warming and frustrating. The end part of this book had me on the edge of my seat and flipping the pages until I hit the last one and just about cried becuase I wanted to keep reading.
The story, setting, and characters sucked me in and kept me turning the pages. I learned something while reading this book, I should never doubt Kelley Armstrong! I give this one 5 stars!...more
