I only skipped a few stories and that was only because I hadn't read the series that the stories were apart of. So lets go down the list of stories here.
Giovanni's Farewell by Claudia Gray I would love, love, love to read more about Cairo and Ravenna. This was a great story about learning to deal with changes and new powers.
Senic Route - Carrie Ryan I haven't read the Dark and Hallow Places yet so I was worried this might be a bit spoilery but it wasn't at all. It was actually a great look at two sisters trying to survive and copy in a crazy world.
Red Run - Kami Garcia This was my favorite story in this collection. I would love to see this get turned into a full length novel. This had the feel of the TV show supernatural and I absolutely LOVED it.
Niederwald - Rachel Vincent This was a nice peak into Sabine's head. I adore this series and was so happy to get to look through Sabine's eyes. And I am crossing my fingers that something I hope happens in this series actually does happen.
A Mortal Winter King - Melissa Marr I haven't read Darkest Mercy yet so I probably should have skipped this one but it was good even though I haven't read the last book yet.
Facing Facts - Kelley Armstrong I loved getting another look at Chloe and the gang. I loved this series and this totally has me wanting to read The Gathering.
Leaving - Ally Condie This was great and again I would love to see this turned into a full length novel because I really want to see where this story would go.
At The Late Night Double Feature - Jessica Verday I really liked this one! Yet another one I that I would love to see come out as a full length novel. This was cute, funny, and absolutely wonderful.
Automatic - Rachel Caine I love the Morganville Vampires series although I am a book behind right now, but this was a good look at Michael. It was really really good!(less)

I usually read the first book in a new series and love it, then end up disliking the second, and forcing myself to try the third. I have to say though this wasn't the case with these books. I actually think the second book was better than the first. This picked up where the first book left off, Riley is trying to keep it together after learning about what happened to her father, and the attack on the Tabernackle. she is scared and traumatized by things she saw and by seeing what happened to Simon. Riley ends up being put into a sticky situation when she goes to visit Simon, she did was seemed right at the time but like every good deed it NEVER goes unpunished. Sweet caring Simon begins to change, no longer sweet and caring, he is nasty, cruel, and paranoid. this change leaves Riley broken hearted and under the scrutiny of the hunters, who believe she is working for the "bad guys". Now add the very sexy Ori and we have a recipe for disaster, Trying to get over her broken heart and rebel against Beck, she starts down a road with Ori that I enjoyed since I adore him, but in the end things are always what they appear. Riley in the end is left with very few options, a fight with Beck leaves her friendless and alone. The ending of this book was pretty awesome, a few things happened that I wasn't expecting, and I couldn't have been happier with it. I liked how certain relationships evolved from the first book to the end of the second. At times I didn't hate Harper, So much was going on in this book, bootleg holey water, demons, demon hunters, and inter guild arguing. I really can't wait for the next one to come out, this is one addicting series that I have totally fallen in love with. I give this one 5 stars and recommend this series if you have started it yet, go do it now!(less)

Mrs. Oliver has come up with a main character that has wormed her way into my heart. Riley was awesome! She showed determination, spunk, strength, and had a kick-ass attitude that make me say. "I am in love!" more than once. Her sarcasm, whit, and snark had me giggling at times. As soon as I flipped the last page of this book I dove into the next. I wanted so badly to know what happened next. My only hope for the next book is more demons! I know it sounds like a strange request, but I love with way Mrs. Oliver has built her version of our world and how she set up her demons. I want to see more fights with them like the one her and Beck had with the pyro-fiend. That was one of my favorite parts of this book, great scene, great action and shows a different side to the "relationship" Riley and Beck share. While I am talking about Beck, and before I forget...the boys in this book are totally drool worthy! Each in a different way but in the end all 3 of our major boys will make you drool. Personally I want an Ori or a Beck of my very own. Simon isn't bad, just not my type I guess. I have to give this one 5 stars, and I do highly recommend that if you are like me and put off reading this book/series, please do yourself a favor and wait no more...go read it...like NOW!(less)

As the only series I have read by this team of writers I didn't have any expectations for the writing or the story. But alas I fell in love with the cover so I gave it a chance and I fell in love with everything else about this book. Now fast forward through the really good second book to Demon Song. I really liked how this book was a little different than the other two, as in it wasn't just one major catastrophic event after another, You get to see Celia try on some "girl time" which after her change seem to be a little awkward for her but it is refreshing to see her have some time with the girls or to breathe between crises. There were plenty of action pact events through out the book and some meaningful family time too. Overall I think it was a good mix of emotion, good fun and action, and all that is before we introduce the love triangle. I like that her love interest wasn't the main focus of the story it was more of an underlying story amidst all the action. I also appreciate the look into Celia's self discovery and growth throughout the book. Add in some great secondary characters and we have a winner folks. I highly suggest this series to anyone who hasn't read it yet.(less)

I love everything about it. Aden by himself is pretty awesome, once you add in the souls he is just like the perfect character. Mary Anne, Victoria, and Riley are a great cast too! I feel that there has been a great deal of character growth for all the characters. They have all been through so much. I think that this book alone tested them each in many different ways, and I can't wait to see where they go from here. The over arching story for this series has been great thus far and I am dying for the next taste all ready! But the major story plots in this book really seemed to turn everyone upside down and inside out before everything was said and done. It was an amazing emotional trip that I am so glad I took. I look forward to more in this series and hope that you guys will give it a try if you haven't already. I give this one 4 stars!(less)
