What's best about this book? Has (Hassan) is a Muslim. So, as a normal low-self-esteem Muslim girl, I immedietly put the "Wall" up. But it was not offensive in the least bit! He's hilarious, loves judge Jody, overweight, and loves to make fun of everything. What's not to love right? John Green made the perfect Muslim image. Some might get offended by what Hassan does in the middle of the story, but honestly, I don't care. We are humans too, we are made to make mistakes. In Arabic, human is called Ensan (N-SAN) and it comes from Nasayan (Na-Sa-Yan) and it means forgetting. So yeah, I'm human, I forget, basically.
So thanks you John Green for making another amazing book. I think I read all of your books now. I'm kind of obsessed with you. Sorry if it bugs you. I just love your brain too much. lol

I have to admit it that I don't understand why readers like this book so much. The beginning was so boring it put me to sleep in seconds! The middle of the book, I don't ever remember listening to because I got distracted by the littlest things. I honestly don't know I finished it. It is so scandalous ! And the worst part, it's all about MARRIAGE! Yeah, believe it or not, I run from my mother when she starts talking about it, only to end up listening to a book about it. COME ON! Still, the parts that I focused on were actually good. So I gave it three stars for effort. Never the less, I hated every single man in the book. Sorry. I must have ruined the books for many. *sigh*

Stefan is dark and mysterious - and she's determined to get to know him better. But Stefan is just as determined to resist her...until a series of attacks in the area terrify the town and Stefan is held responsible. Elena is the only one who offers to help and, falling in love with her, Stefan tells her his terrible story. He is a vampire, on the run from his evil brother, Damon, who doesn't share Stefan's qualms about drinking human blood. And Damon is the one Stefan suspects of really being behind the recent attacks...Can Elena help prove his innocence - without revealing his secret?"
I don't know why, but I never thought of reading the books behind the amazing "The Vampire Diaries".I love the TV show, way too much. I'm especially obsessed with Damon. I think that the idea of reading a book which I already saw a movie for would bore me to death. You have no idea how wrong I was. I loved the book even more than the show. I couldn't imagine how that would have been possible, but now I know how.
This is the first audiobook I tried. I have to say, not a bad book for my first try. It made me more obsessed with audiobooks. Making them the best types of books I've ever tried. Now if I want to read a book, I would most definetly choose audiobooks.
I have to say that I wish I knew that Damon was there from the start. I don't have anything against Stefan. He is such a good person *cough* vampire *cough*. But Damon is what I need to live. I don't have anything to say for Elena. I didn't think that she was that type of bitch who would want anything infront of her, but as it turns out, she is. Stefan might have loved her from the start, but still, it sounded like bitch to me. And the fact that she is blonde. Add to the annoyance.
It might sound like I hate this book, but the fact that Damon was there erases every other character. And to me, Damon was everything. In every page *chapter since I was listening*.
I would recommend this book to vampire lovers, and romantics.

He leaves for boarding school to seek what the dying poet Francois Rabelais called the "Great Perhaps." Much awaits Miles at Culver Creek, including Alaska Young. Clever, funny, screwed-up, and dead sexy, Alaska will pull Miles into her labyrinth and catapult him into the Great Perhaps.
Looking for Alaska brilliantly chronicles the indelible impact one life can have on another. A stunning debut, it marks John Green's arrival as an important new voice in contemporary fiction."
I didn't know where this book was going at first. Miles kept counting down, I knew something big was going to happen, like someone suspended, or something. The actual event was a true shocker.
Characters: Miles 'pudge': Such a cute boy, pudge is. I loved him from the first minute. If John Green were to re-write this story, he should leave this character alone.
Alaska:... I want to say that she's a bitch, but I feel so sorry for her that I won't.
