Russ Baldwin and Lydia Kent may be business partnersLinked to the previous Whirlwind titles. I'll be interviewing Debra Cowan on Feb. 10th on Facebook
Russ Baldwin and Lydia Kent may be business partners but that doesn't mean they trust each other beyond their hotel. It becomes obvious to Russ that Lydia is hiding something and after being burned by the woman he thought he loved, knowing Lydia is keeping something from him makes him extremely cautious. Lydia on the other hand is scared to share her secrets because they aren't only hers and may put a lot of people in danger. All she really wants is the partner she was expecting to get, one that left the hotel management completely to her and was no where near it to possible discover everything.
When things start to go wrong and her secrets come out, Russ is to far drawn into her life to just walk away like he wants to. It, however, takes a bit for that to sink into his thick head. LOL
These two are perfect for each other but both have past that are hard to forget and overcome. Both have severe trust issues. Both are desperately fighting their feelings. In other words, a perfect romance read! :) ...more

Brandon and Caroline definitely have a lot of issues and both grow up considerably during their journeys....more

They have convinced Savannah to travel across the country with the hopes she will marry their son who has been hurt in the past. Savannnah soon learns that the uninterested and grumpy son is not the only man in town looking for a wife. Overall, a fun read that is fast paced and a pleasure.
Shotgun Vows by Kate Bridges makes the perfect middle story. If you follow Kate's Mounties, you will recognize most the characters. Milly's father is very strict about who may aproach his daughter so Mountie Weston definitely doesn't earn any favors from him when he is caught in a compromising situation with her. Life changes real quick for both of them. Good thing they have a burning passion for each other but getting them to trust seems an impossible task. However, Kate was definitely up to the challenge. I loved the entire struggle.
Springville Wife by Charlene Sands completes the anthology beautifully with a very heart touching tale with perfectly placed humor. I fell in love with Grace's Aunt and Caleb's neice while those two were trying to fight their feeling for each other. Both had pasts they weren't willing to forget easily. Grace is a recent widow while Caleb is a spurned groom-to-be. Watching them fall in love was a joy. Overall, this anthology had a wonderful blend of authors and is sure to please....more
