For me this book was SO much about the characters. I loved how they fit. I loved that this was a fantastic, sexy romance, but also that the people didn't fit into tidy stereotypes at all. A fab read.(less)

First of all. Ben and Quinn might be my favorite book people of all time. Or tied w/ Cricket and Lola (though those two I love for totally different reasons).
I was terrified I'd hate Ben in this book or hate Quinn, and sequels are SO hard. But this is a gorgeous book. A COMPLETELY gorgeous book. I love it when we see more of the people we love, but they've changed a little and grown up and so their problems and struggles also change...
This was just as heart-wrenching as I thought it would be, but SO worth it for the end...(less)

Jay uses some gorgeous language, with a few smexy scenes, and some great action with loads of plot twists. I loved Juliet Immortal, and I may have liked this one more. It's just really nice when I do NOT see the next twist coming :-)(less)

I mean, it intrigued me, but felt so filled with stereotypes. And I've been wanting to read Stiefvater, but I haven't been into any of her other premises, so this was my first.
Fab story.
The end felt rushed, which was frustrating, but I loved that I never knew what was going to happen next and I love that I have no idea what's going to happen in book two. So, that's a very happy thing.
I could have used a highlighter all over this thing. Love ALL the Raven Boys.(less)

At page 150 I thought there was NO good way out. As I neared the end, and realized it was going to be over, I felt this weight settle in knowing that I was almost done.
I love Williams' writing, and I love the topics she chooses to write about and I love her stories, and I love the endings, because they're perfect for the story but imperfect in their real-ness.
