GregWren Davis, a talented art student and bike messenger wants one thing, to take her friendship with the famous artist and bad boy, Gregori Ivanov. Gregori oozes sex appeal, has the bad boy, devil may care artist facade down pat. But that is not who he really is. After having a hard childhood and having adult relationships where people just use him for their own gain, he has a hard time keeping Wren at bay. Wren is not like anyone Gregori knows. She'd beautiful, talented in her own right, and wants nothing from him other than taking their relationship to the next level, in the bedroom.
What starts out as a steamy friends with benefits arrangement ends up in love. Although it takes the two main characters a little heart ache to get there and realize what is really important. This novella is a signature Dane story, with fun and independent characters who place an emphasis on the importance of family and relationships. The loves scenes are steamy, but do not dominate the story. I recommend this novella to fans of the author. I look forward to reading more from Harlequin's new like of Cosmo Red Hot Reads.

What seems like an impulsive trip to the Australian coast to see her stepbrother, is actually an act of a young woman who knows what she wants.
Zoe has desired her step-brother, Matt Cantrell (no blood relation) since her father and Matt's mother married. Matt was already out of the house, so Zoe saw him at family holidays occasionally. Trying to figure out what to do with her life, she decides to make a brave show and let Matt know that she is a woman and she could be what she wants. Their reunion happens when she turns up at his place, luggage lost, his apartment empty and makes herself at home in his bed. Naked. Matt thinks his girlfriend who sort of broke off the relationship, is not mad any more and in his bed... he was in for a surprise.
I admired Zoe for letting Matt know up front that she wasn't a little girl anymore, that she wanted him sexually, and that there was no impediment to a relationship because they weren't actually related. Of course Matt doesn't see eye to eye with Zoe, but quickly gives into temptation. The two quickly heat things up in and out of the bedroom. The former girlfriend of Matt's makes a reappearance to create conflict in the story. An unlikeable and almost seeming bitter woman that doesn't want to accept that her relationship is over and derives satisfaction about spreading rumors about Zoe and Matt. The two over come this and even face their parents, for a happily ever after that was hinted at.
Munro did a great job setting up the story with enough information about the characters, without taking away page time of the loves scenes. So often short stories lack enough background info and end abruptly, but this one didn't. This reader has only read one other work by the author, but will definitely read more in the future. I recommend this short story to readers who enjoy erotic romance who are looking for a story to entertain for a little while and one that will provide a satisfying end.
