After reading the first book in Julia Quinn’s fantastic “Bridgerton” series, The Duke and I I just had to check out the second book in series “The Viscount Who Loved Me” and man, was I blown away by this book!
Anthony Bridgerton, who is well-known as being London’s most notorious rake, takes London by storm when he decides that he wants to get married and he has his sights set on Edwina Sheffield. However, Anthony will soon realize that this is not an easy task as he has to impress Edwina’s older sister, Kate Sheffield, who refuses to let Anthony marry her sister due to his reputation as a rake. Even though Anthony gets so annoyed with Kate at times, he will soon realize that he might have feelings for Kate whether he likes it or not!
Julia Quinn has done it again with writing a brilliant romance story that not only gives us the best back and forth bantering between the two lead characters, but also gave us a great insight on conquering our fears for the sake of love! I loved the way that Julia Quinn wrote each character in this novel as they were truly memorable and they made me relate to the characters’ predicaments. I especially loved the relationship that Anthony shared with his siblings, especially Colin and Benedict as there were several moments in the novel where Anthony was considering killing his brothers for annoying him to death, but it is clearly shown that he cares about them at the same time. I also loved Kate’s relationship with her stepsister Edwina as it has been stated many times that Edwina is way more beautiful than Kate, but Kate still cares about Edwina’s well being and would do anything to make her happy. Probably my most favorite characters in this novel were Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sheffield themselves! I have to honestly say that Anthony Bridgerton is officially one of my most favorite romance heroes of all-time (man, I have been saying that for every romance novel I had read)! Anyway, Anthony Bridgerton is just one amazing hero as he has sharp wit while being kind hearted towards anyone at the same time. I loved his relationship with Kate as he often gets frustrated with her since he thinks she is annoying and yet, it is clear as day that he has feelings for her, but often has trouble trying to reciprocate those feelings to her. Kate Sheffield is truly one of the best romance heroines I had ever read as she shows true determination in doing what is best for the people she cares about and I also loved her back and forth bantering with Anthony as she seems to be the only character (other than Anthony’s siblings) who can talk back to Anthony with such fire and wit! As for the love scenes between Anthony and Kate, OH MAN, were they HOT and SIZZLING and I just could not stop reading those love scenes between Kate and Anthony without feeling deep anticipation!
For anyone who does not like sex scenes, there are plenty of sex scenes in this novel that are quite graphic and you can skim over them if they are uncomfortable to read through.
Overall, “The Viscount Who Loved Me” is truly one romance novel that every fan of Julia Quinn’s works and fans who love pure, raw romance should definitely check out! Now, I am off to read the third book in the “Bridgerton” series, An Offer From a Gentleman!

After I heard so many good reviews on this comic, I just had to read this and oh boy, I just have so much to say about this particular comic book! I know that so many events had happened before “X-Men: Mutant Massacre” happened (as was stated by the characters in this comic), but I wanted to read this so badly that I was willing to skip the last few issues of “X-Men” just to get to this comic! “X-Men: Mutant Massacre” was a first for me in many different ways: it was the first “X-Men” comic book that I read that featured Elizabeth “Betsy” Braddock, also known as Psylocke, the first time I had read about the original “X-Factor,” the first time I had read about “The New Mutants,” the first time I had read “Daredevil” and the first time I had read about the “Power Pack.” With the combined writing of Chris Claremont, Louise Simonson, Walter Simonson, and Ann Nocenti and the combined artwork of John Romita Jr., Terry Shoemaker, Bret Blevins, Walter Simonson, Jackson Guice, Sal Buscema, Jon Bogdanove, Rick Leonardi, Alan Davis, and Barry Windor-Smith, “X-Men: Mutant Massacre” is definitely a story that “X-Men” fans have to check!
What is this story about?
When the Marauders, a group of mutant assassins, started killing most of the Morlock community, the X-Men, now lead by a Mohawk wearing Storm, step in to help out the Morlocks. Meanwhile, X-Factor, a group of mutant hunters who are actually the original five X-Men (Cyclops, Jean Grey, Iceman, Beast and Angel) in disguise, try to defeat the Marauders while Angel goes through an emotional trip that would change him forever. Also, this comic features guest appearances from Thor, Daredevil, the New Mutants and the Power Pack who also try to help out the X-Men in defending the Morlock community!
The story: Usually, I do have problems with reading crossovers in comics because the stories almost never match up as long as you have different writers writing each story, but for a crossover, I found this story pretty impressive! I liked the fact that all of the stories mentioned in this graphic novel actually flowed well together and it felt like we were getting one cohesive storyline instead of having several different things happening all at once and it made me really enjoy the storyline! I really enjoyed the way that each different writer had a different take on the Marauders attacking the Morlocks as we see the attacks on the Morlocks from the X-Men, Thor, the Power Pack and Daredevil’s viewpoint. The stories that I really enjoyed in this graphic novel were the stories written by Chris Claremont as he wrote the stories for “Uncanny X-Men” and “New Mutants.” I loved the way that Chris Claremont made the story extremely dramatic and intense as we witness many Morlocks being killed in brutal ways and the X-Men characters dealing with the tragedy emotionally. I really enjoyed how Chris Claremont handled Storm’s character as we see her being emotionally affected by the situation and how it affected her position as the leader of the X-Men and it was truly moving seeing Storm struggle with being the leader of the X-Men. I also enjoyed seeing Storm as the leader of the X-Men since it was rare of me to see her in such a position. I really enjoyed Chris Claremont’s writing in “New Mutants” as the characters were really interesting, especially Illyana Rasputin (Magik), Warlock, Danielle Moonstar (Valkyrie) and Samuel Guthrie (Cannonball) and it was great seeing a younger generation of X-Men step up the plate in this tragedy. Louise Simonson’s writing for “X-Factor” was fantastic as it was interesting seeing the original five X-Men work together again and I enjoyed seeing how the murdering of the Morlocks affected them and how the mutant community looks at them as they were disguised as the mutant hunting team “X-Factor” even though they were trying to help the mutants. I also enjoyed Louise Simonson’s writing in “Power Pack” as it was hilarious and intense at the same time as I really enjoyed seeing the adventures of Franklin Richards and the Power Pack as it is rare that I see a comic book with small children being superheroes, which I thought was really cute! I really like Ann Nocenti’s writing in “Daredevil” as the fight between Daredevil and Saber tooth was really intense and I enjoyed the inner monologues of Daredevil as it really defined his position in being a superhero.
The artwork: Out of all the graphic novels I had read, “X-Men: Mutant Massacre” probably had the most artists I had ever seen out of any graphic novel! Each artist had contributed greatly to this storyline and I had enjoyed each one! My favorite artwork in this book came from Jackson Guice’s artwork in “New Mutants,” Rick Leonardi’s artwork in “Uncanny X-Men,” John Romita Jr’s artwork in “Uncanny X-Men,” and Sal Buscema’s artwork in “Daredevil.” (I know that there is some hate on John Romita Jr.’s artwork in current comics, but I enjoyed the scratchy artwork he created for this storyline).
What made me feel uncomfortable about this story:
The reason why I gave this book a four star rating was because I felt that Thor’s side of the story was a bit of a distraction for me as it focused too heavily on Thor and I am not used to the “Shakespearean” dialogue that Thor usually talks in. Also, you can tell that so much has happened before this storyline, so anyone (like myself) who just jumped in to read an X-Men comic might be wondering about how half of the events that happened to the characters happened in the first place.
This was back in the days when continuity was important in comics.
This comic also deals with the theme of death and sorrow as many characters are killed in this graphic novel and that might upset sensitive readers.
Overall, despite the four star rating (the “X-Men” storylines alone are five stars in my book), “X-Men: Mutant Massacre” is definitely one of the darkest yet most invigorating series I had ever read and anyone who is a huge fan of the X-Men will definitely enjoy this book!
(view spoiler)[At the end of this book, I've wondered whatever happened to Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler and Colossus? They were injured in battle, but they never really told us if they ever got better or not. That was apart of the story I would have like to see resolved. Also, here are some of my favorite moments from this comic:

My first exposure into Julia Quinn’s romance novels was through a recent book Just Like Heaven. But, after I heard so many good things about the first book in Julia Quinn’s legendary “Bridgertons” series “The Duke and I,” I just had to give this book a shot and goodness, was I blown away by this brilliant romance novel!
Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, had a troubled childhood as his father, the former Duke of Hastings, had rejected him as a child due to Simon’s speech impediment. Years later however, Simon Basset becomes a proper and well made man and the mothers of London are dying for him to marry their daughters. However, Simon meets a spunky and independent young woman named Daphne Bridgerton who comes from a large family and it becomes apparent that these two have fallen madly in love with each other. But, will Simon tell Daphne his deepest and darkest secret about his father or will their relationship be ruined by this secret?
Julia Quinn has woven a brilliant tale about letting go of the past and focusing on the future. I loved the way that Julia Quinn wrote each character as each character had a spunky and independent personality that really made me care about them. I really loved the fact that the Bridgerton family is so close to each other as they are willing to protect each other through hard times, especially Anthony, Colin and Benedict as they are EXTREMELY OVERPROTECTIVE of Daphne! But the characters I really loved in this entire novel were Simon Basset and Daphne Bridgerton as they were truly interesting and complex characters. Simon Basset is probably one of my favorite romance heroes as he has a tragic past that I can really sympathize with and yet, he was able to try to become a better person despite his tragic past. I loved the fact that Simon is so intelligent and is able to talk smoothly with absolutely anybody (especially DAPHNE) and I also loved the fact that Simon has to battle with his inner demons at discovering who he truly is and letting go of his father’s scorn for him as it provides great character development for his character. I really liked Daphne Bridgerton as she was a strong and independent woman and every time I see her punch someone, I was practically cheering for her! I also liked the fact that she tries to get through Simon and make him see how he is a better person than his father, which really made her into a caring character. I really loved the banter between Daphne and Simon as it is hilarious and witty to read. One of my most favorite quotes from Daphne and Simon was this quote:
“Quite possibly,” he agreed, “but I have excellent taste. And you” – he leaned down quite suddenly and nipped at her mouth- “taste quite good.”
Daphne giggle, quite unable to help herself.
Simon wiggled his brows, “Dare you mock me?”
“Normally I would,” she replied, “but not when you’ve got both my arms pinned over my head.”
For anyone who does not like language and sex scenes, there are some sex scenes in this novel, although they happens a bit towards the end. There is also some language, but it is not strong as the only words really muttered are the “d” word, the “h” word and the “b” word.
(view spoiler)[Also, the scene where Daphne seemed to force herself on Simon when Simon was drunk did unsettled me a bit since it made her look manipulative since she was so desperate in wanting a baby. What was so problematic about this scene was that the rest of the book seemed to go through this like it did not happen and I cannot help but wonder why this scene was not taken more seriously. I probably would have taken a point off this book if it did not go over so quickly and was forgotten about later on. (hide spoiler)]
Overall, “The Duke and I” is a truly brilliant romance novel that I think that every fan of Julia Quinn’s works or romance fans in general should definitely check out! Now, I am about to read the second book in the “Bridgerton” series called The Viscount Who Loved Me.

After hearing that Teresa Medeiros has a new romance novel being released, being the big romance novel fan that I am, I just had to pick up this book!...moreAfter hearing that Teresa Medeiros has a new romance novel being released, being the big romance novel fan that I am, I just had to pick up this book! Well, Teresa Medeiros’ newest book “The Pleasure of Your Kiss” really took me on a wild and sensual ride that I had never been on when reading other romance novels and has now gotten me looking forward to other new romance novels from Teresa Medeiros!
Clarinda Cardew was on her way to England to marry the rich and powerful duke Maximillian Burke, but then she and her friend Penelope Montmorency (Poppy) are ambushed by pirates and she ends up in the arms of a rich and powerful sultan of Morocco called Zin al-Farouk (Farouk) who happens to own a luminous harem! At the same time, legendary adventurer Ashton Burke is summoned by his brother Maximillian Burke to go and retrieve Clarinda from the sultan’s clutches. Unfortunately, Ashton Burke used to have a blossoming romance with Clarinda Cardew years ago until he broke her heart by leaving her for unknown reasons and when he actually goes on the quest to retrieve Clarinda from the sultan, he will soon realize that his romance with Clarinda will soon blossomed again in a shocking way that could change their world forever!
Again, after I had heard that Teresa Medeiros was making another romance novel, my inner fan-girl soul was kicked up into high gear and I just had to get this book! Well, after reading this book, I was impressed that Teresa Medeiros’ writing is better than ever as this romance novel was clearly more unusual than the usual romance novels I usually pick up! For one thing, this romance novel takes place in a harem, which I did find a bit unusual to put into a romance novel since the story would usually focus on the two romantic interests in the story. However, I felt that having the story take place in a harem added a nice touch to the story and provided so much uniqueness from the standard romance novel. I just loved almost all of the characters involved in this novel as Teresa Medeiros made each character truly stand out from each other. Clarinda Cardew was a truly inspiring heroine as she is shown to be a strong willed woman who refuses to let anyone run her life. Also, just hearing about how she was struggling in trying to move on with her life when Ashton Burke left her years ago was a truly heartbreaking aspect of her character that made me really feel sorry for her and I usually wished her the best during this story. Ashton Burke was a truly unique type of hero as he is known as an adventurer and I loved the way that he can outsmart any enemy he comes across and gets what he wants. I also loved his devil-may-care attitude that he has become so famous for and it was interesting in seeing how he wanted to rekindled the love that he and Clarinda had lost when he left her years ago. But the relationship I was more invested in was between Farouk and Poppy since Ashton and Clarinda were spending the majority of the book trying to rekindle their relationship. Farouk and Poppy’s relationship with each other was more interesting because it was set up more like the two of them gaining interest in each other rather than regain their lost love and it was interesting in seeing how Poppy is able to break down Farouk’s serious nature by offering him sweets most of the time.
For anyone who does not like sex scenes, there are a couple of explicit sex scenes in this book, so it would be best to skim over these scenes. Also, just a brief nitpick, but I wanted to see more romance scenes between Clarinda and Ashton since the majority of the book is spent on Ashton trying to rescue Clarinda from the sultan. Now, I did not mind too much about the part where Ashton is trying to rescue Clarinda, but I wanted to hear more “sexy” talk between the two characters so I could actually melt away in ecstasy whenever I hear these two characters flirting with each other.
Overall, even though I wanted more romance between Clarinda and Ashton, “The Pleasure of Your Kiss” is a truly unique and brilliant book that romance novels fans will eat up for many years to come!

Holly de Chastel was known as the fairest woman in all of England since her beauty cannot be rivaled by any other. However, when her father decided to hold a tournament so that way she can be married to a man, Holly decides to put on an ugly appearance to repel all the men from marrying her. However, Holly would never have guessed that a dark and handsome Welshman named Sir Austyn of Gavenmore would end up winning her hand in marriage and the world starts changing for Holly. Holly soon realizes that her new husband Austyn has dark secrets that make him evasive from her and what will happen if Austyn discovers Holly’s deceit?
Oh my goodness! This romance novel was one hectic ride as it has levels of lies and deceit between this couples that cannot be rivaled with any other romance novel! Teresa Medeiros has certainly done an impressive job at writing this story as it is intense from the very beginning and I love the way that Teresa Medeiros builds up the action throughout this novel as I was literally on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what is going to happen to the characters next. What I really loved about this novel are the characters themselves (even though they have their flaws that annoys me a bit) and Teresa Medeiros wove these characters brilliantly as we were able to see all the things that they have suffered through and how they try to stay strong during their troubling situations. Holly de Chastel might have spent the majority of the book deceiving her new husband, but she is shown to have a good heart and is willing to tell people what is on her mind, even if it puts her life in jeopardy and it was that aspect of her character that I really enjoyed! Sir Austyn of Gavenmore is definitely one hero who is both frightening yet ultra handsome and dark at the same time! I loved the way that Sir Austyn is extremely gentle with Holly when she put on an ugly appearance to steer him away, which proves that Sir Austyn not only judges Holly on her looks but he judges Holly on her character and personality. It was interesting and terrifying at the same time to see Sir Austyn occasionally break out into a temper tantrum since he can be a really frightening person when angered and I will admit that I was shocked at some of the things he did to Holly in this novel. I was also head over heels in love with Sir Austyn’s large and muscular body which really made me really want to be in his arms in this book!
For anyone who does not like sex scenes, there are a couple of sex scenes in this novel that are a bit graphic, so it would be best to skim over these scenes if anyone is uncomfortable with them. One of the problems I had with this book is that Holly is often deceptive towards Austyn throughout this book when she put on an ugly disguise to get out of marrying him. To be honest, I was glad that Holly did not keep up this deception throughout the entire book and only kept up with it midway through the book, but it was a bit annoying to me that she did not just tell Austyn about her disguise near the beginning of the book instead of letting it drag on for so long.
Overall, “Fairest of Them All” is a clearly brilliant book about lies and deception that romance fans will fall head over heels in love it for many years!
I have been reading historical romance novels for many years now and “Untouched” is certainly the first romance novel I have read from Anna Campbell....moreI have been reading historical romance novels for many years now and “Untouched” is certainly the first romance novel I have read from Anna Campbell. “Untouched” is certainly one romance novel that is way different from all other romance novels I have read and it has enough drama, hot sizzling romance and forbidden love to keep any romance fan entertained!
The book starts off with a beautiful woman named Grace Paget who is suddenly kidnapped by two terrible men and was brought to Lord John’s estate to “entertain” his nephew Matthew Sheene. However, Grace soon realizes that Matthew is also a prisoner in his cruel uncle’s estate and while they slowly fall in love with each other, they must try to escape the horrible estate they are both trapped in so that they could save their own lives!
Wow! I must admit that this book took me on a wild ride because I have never read a romance novel quite like this one! Anna Campbell has certainly done a great job at writing this story about forbidden love and desperation. What made this novel stood out from all the rest of the romance novels is that both the hero and heroine are tortured as they are trapped in a terrible place that tortures them physically and mentally and they spend most of the book trying to figure out ways to make their escape. I loved the way that Anna Campbell wrote the characters in this book, especially with Matthew Sheene and Grace Paget. I honestly love Matthew Sheene to death as he is truly one remarkable hero who has been tortured all of his life by his cruel uncle and was declared “mad” to the world. What made Matthew Sheene shine throughout this book is that even though he was tortured by his uncle, he is truly courageous and honest and I loved the way that he tried to protect Grace from his cruel uncle at all costs, even if it means the cost of his own life. Grace Paget is a truly inspiring heroine as she may seem a bit shy at certain points, but she is always speaking her mind and I love how devoted she was to saving Matthew from his uncle’s clutches also as it proved how much she truly cares for him. But, the best part in this entire book was the love-making between Matthew and Grace as it was hot and sizzling and I literally was fanning myself whenever I read these little scenes between Matthew and Grace!
The reason why I gave this book a four star rating is because there were times where the plot tends to slow down a bit and I always find myself trying to skim over those parts extremely quickly just to get to the exciting parts of the story. Also, sometimes I got so irritated with Grace Paget throughout this book because every time Matthew Sheene tries to profess his love towards her, Grace always remain distant from him and I just wanted Grace to just tell Matthew how much she cares for him and stop evading him every time he confesses his love for her. Also, there are a couple scenes in this book that might make some readers uncomfortable such as the explicit sex scenes and one scene where a character is nearly raped. So, if you are uncomfortable with the sex scenes and the near rape scene, you might want to skim over those scenes since they are vivid in detail.
Overall, “Untouched” is a truly engaging story about forbidden love that romance fans will definitely enjoy for many years! Now that I have first read one of Anna Campbell’s works, I am interested in reading some more works from her!

Since last year in 2011, I have started reading Jennifer Ashley’s fantastic “Highland Pleasures” series beginning with “The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie” and ever since then, I have fallen in love with this fantastic series! Now, I have currently read the third book in the “Highland Pleasures” series which is called “The Many Sins of Lord Cameron” and it is easily the best story in the series so far! “The Many Sins of Lord Cameron” has loads of action, heartwarming moments and hot romance that every romance fan will definitely gush over for many years!
Six years ago, a young Cameron Mackenzie meets up with a young woman named Ainsley Douglas and even though they tried to make love to each other that day, Ainsley could not finish it because she was married to John Douglas at the time and did not want to betray him. Years later, Ainsley Douglas is now a widow and when she meets up with the notorious Cameron Mackenzie again, Cameron decided that he will finish what was started between him and Ainsley six years ago. However, Cameron and Ainsley will soon realize that dark secrets will be revealed and that their love for each other might ignite brighter than before!
Oh my goodness! This book was just absolutely amazing, heartbreaking and exciting all at the same time! Jennifer Ashley has certainly woven a truly brilliant and heartwarming story about two lovers who both have dark secrets in their pasts, but are willing to put the past behind them in order to obtain true love! I just loved all the characters in this book and Jennifer Ashley has done an awesome job at crafting each character’s personalities to make every one of them stand out. I especially loved Daniel Mackenzie, Cameron’s son, who was always trying to bring Ainsley and Cameron together while providing good humor for the story. It was amusing seeing how Daniel always seems to know what is best for his father and Ainsley while he is always doing the opposite of what his father tells him to do. I really loved the awkward relationship that Daniel shares with Cameron because it brings so much humor to the story, especially with Daniel just randomly spewing out secrets that his father never told anyone. Now about the two main characters, Ainsley Douglas and Cameron Mackenzie, they were probably the greatest couple I have ever read about in any romance novel! Ainsley Douglas is shown to be a strong and crafty heroine who does not let anything get in her way of her love for Cameron and it was hilarious seeing her constantly pick locks to get into other people’s rooms. I also loved the way that Ainsley was trying to help Cameron overcome his inner demons that dealt with his late wife, Elizabeth and the things that Elizabeth did to Cameron were just too horrible to describe. This truly shows that Ainsley really cares about Cameron and was willing to put her own desires on the side to be with Cameron. Cameron Mackenzie is probably my favorite hero at this moment because he is so dark yet handsome and that really made his character truly interesting! I also loved the way that Jennifer Ashley describes Cameron’s body being a body of “God” as he is truly large and muscular and tall! But what truly touched me about Cameron’s character was with his dark and frightening past. It was sad seeing Cameron being so distrusting of women because of what his late wife, Elizabeth did to him all those years and I really felt sympathy for Cameron. Bringing out Cameron’s dark past and his sadness over it has really brought out a new dimension to Cameron’s character by making him somewhat vulnerable, but still trying to overcome that fear that he has been holding up for many years. I really loved the love shared between Cameron and Ainsley as it was genuine and sensual at the same time that I was literally anticipating the next scene of them loving each other!
For those of you who do not like sex scenes, there is sex scenes littered throughout this book and they are extremely explicit as many naughty phrases are littered throughout each sex scene.
Overall, “The Many Sins of Lord Cameron” is easily one of the best books out of Jennifer Ashley’s “Highland Pleasures” series and I am definitely looking forward to reading Hart’s book, “The Duke’s Perfect Wife.” (less)

Just like its predecessor, “Lady Isabella’s Scandalous Marriage” has the trappings of the perfect romance: drama, suspense and hot sizzling romance!
Six years ago, Isabella Scranton, daughter of a well respected earl, caused a scandal in London when she married the artistic yet wild Mac Mackenzie. Even though Mac and Isabella seemed to be happily married for three years, their marriage is abruptly in tatters when a tragedy struck and Isabella decides to leave Mac. Three and a half years later, Mac Mackenzie comes back into Isabella’s life a changed man, but Isabella is still not ready to take him back, even though she still has feelings for Mac. While the two former lovers try to patch things up, an imposter suddenly shows claiming to be Mac Mackenzie himself and will stop at nothing to take Mac’s life for himself!
I got one word for this novel: FANTASTIC!
Jennifer Ashley has certainly done a brilliant job at writing this really sensual and heartwarming story about two former lovers who try to gain back their lost love after the tragedy that struck between them. To be honest, this was the first time I have a romance novel where the story starts off with lovers who are already married, but the book spends most its time having the lovers regain the love they lost and it made this book really stand out for me since I am so used to seeing lovers come together by mere coincidence. Jennifer Ashley’s writing is just so beautifully written and probably what I loved most about her writing was of all the characters. As always, I have love for all the Mackenzie brothers and it was awesome seeing them all support Mac and Isabella through their times of trouble. I especially still love Ian Mackenzie as he is as smart and perceptive as ever and it was his perception on Mac’s feelings for Isabella that really helped Mac gets through his marriage. Now onto the good parts: the couple themselves! Mac Mackenzie is like the perfect hero in my book! Not only is he handsome and totally strong, but he is one kind-hearted and witty hero! I loved the way that Mac cares so deeply for Isabella and how he was willing to sacrifice his life to protect her at all costs! I also love his naughty “love” language towards Isabella since it makes my skin tingle! Isabella Scranton is definitely one of the most memorable heroines I have ever read about! I loved the fact that she truly loved Mac, even though I was a bit upset at her for leaving Mac in the first place. Still, I loved the scenes where Isabella was willing to fight anyone who insults Mac, which shows how much she cares deeply for Mac. The love scenes between Mac and Isabella were beyond amazing and sensual that I was practically sweating with anticipation as I was reading through those scenes! Now I will admit that the romantic tensions between Isabella and Mac were not quite as “phenomenal” like Beth and Ian’s in “The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie,” but Mac and Isabella’s relationship was still a sight to behold!
For those of you who do not like sex scenes, this novel has plenty of it and they are extremely explicit, so it might be best to skim over these scenes.
Overall, “Lady Isabella’s Scandalous Marriage” is definitely one romance novel you do not want to miss out on! I am definitely going to read the next book in the “Highland Pleasures” series, “The Many Sins of Lord Cameron!”

I have been reading so many historical romance novels that I must have read almost every one, mainly works from Lisa Kleypas, Teresa Medeiros and Jennifer Ashley. But, this is the first novel I have read from Julia Quinn and it is called “Just Like Heaven.” Actually, “Just Like Heaven” is Julia Quinn’s most recent book to date, so I had the pleasure of reading one of Julia Quinn’s books.
The story starts off with Honoria Smythe-Smith meeting up with her childhood friend Marcus Holroyd, who is the Earl of Chatteris and the two of them just claim that they are only friends. However, when a terrible tragedy strikes Marcus, when his leg is affected in an accident and he is struck by a terrible fever, both Marcus and Honoria will soon discover their true feelings for each other!
I have read many historical romance novels where the hero and the heroine had an attraction for each other throughout the book. However, this is the first romance novel I have read where the hero and heroine start off as good friends and slowly start to realize their feelings for each other, which was quite unusual for me. Julia Quinn has done a great job at writing this story as the story is extremely cute and playful. I loved the way that Julia Quinn set up the conversations between the characters, especially between Honoria and her cousins as the dialogue that goes on between them is hilarious and comforting, as you can feel the close relationship that these cousins share with each other. I also loved the dialogue that Julia Quinn sets up between Marcus and Honoria as they always have friendly and spirited conversations between them that always make me smile every time I read them! It was also really cute seeing Marcus Holroyd go head over heels for Honoria Smythe-Smith as he clearly cannot understand these “lovely” feelings he keep having and yet, he cannot stay away from Honoria. The story about Marcus’s life as a child was heartwarming and sad as he had a lonely life as a child since he did not have a loving family like the Smythe-Smiths did. However, when he became like a little brother to the Smythe-Smith family, my heart just filled with joy at seeing Marcus being happy with this family! I also liked Honoria Smythe-Smith as she is so kind hearted and understanding towards Marcus’s situation and the scene where Honoria was trying to help Marcus heal from his injury was probably the most emotional and wonderful scene in the entire book since it showed how much Honoria truly cares for Marcus.
Notice that I have not mention much of a romance blossoming between Marcus and Honoria because this novel spends too much time with Marcus and Honoria trying to sort out their feelings for each other. That is not to say that this is a bad thing because I really did enjoy the friendly conversations that Marcus and Honoria had with each other, but as a fan of romance novels, it felt like there was not enough romance, fire and passion between the two of them to make me really believe that their love for each other is real. Marcus and Honoria’s love for each other does not really show up until towards the end of the book and it felt like their relationship with each other was being forced towards the end instead of letting it naturally run along throughout the book. Also, there were many slow moments throughout this book that I was finding it hard to keep up with the story because there were scenes that dragged on for too long before they got to the exciting part of the story.
Overall, “Just Like Heaven” is a really cute story for romance fans who love stories where the hero and heroine start out as friends and then become lovers. Also, this novel is great for readers who are uncomfortable with sex scenes since this novel does not contain too many sex scenes. Now that I am interested in Julia Quinn’s books, I think I will check out her “Bridgerton” series! (less)

I have read some Highlander romance novels with the dashing heroes and the strong-willed heroines, but never have I read a romance novel quite like this one! “The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie” is a highlander romance novel written by Jennifer Ashley and is the first romance novel I have read from her. This novel is filled with action, drama, mystery and hot sizzling romance that will set any romance fan ablaze!
Beth Ackerley is a young and beautiful woman who was once raised in the dark slums of London and was engaged to Lyndon Mather until she met a seductive and mysterious Scottish man named Lord Ian Mackenzie, who cleverly took Beth away from Lyndon! Now that Beth is now staying close to Ian, she will soon discover some of Ian’s most dangerous and destructive secrets that could either destroy or repair their relationship with each other.
Oh my goodness! This novel was so amazing and heartbreaking at the same time! Jennifer Ashley has certainly done a brilliant job at not only providing the readers with enough mystery and drama contained in one romance novel, but Jennifer Ashley also did a brilliant job at characterizing each character and the situations they were involved in. My favorite characters in this novel were Lord Ian Mackenzie and Beth Ackerley as they clearly had the most character development and their stories truly cut me to the core of my heart. Beth Ackerley is clearly one strong and determined heroine as she would go out of her way to discover the terrible secrets haunting her lover, Ian Mackenzie and try to set Ian free from his haunting memories and I strongly admired Beth for her determination and her kind heart. Lord Ian Mackenzie is definitely one of my favorite tortured heroes ever as his love for Beth is truly genuine, but he is constantly haunted by his memories of his dark past. It was really interesting seeing a hero who is constantly haunted by his past and Jennifer Ashley did an excellent job at portraying his insecurity about hurting other people because of his explosive rages and it really made Ian into such a mysterious and seductive person that I just fell head over heels in love with him! I also loved the way that Ian truly loved Beth, especially since he thought that if he was a bit distant towards her, he would not hurt her since that is his greatest fear is hurting the one he truly loves and it was that part of Ian that truly loved (also, I loved Ian’s large and muscular body!) It was also interesting to note that while I was reading my friends’ reviews about this book, Ian appears to have Asperger's Syndrome, which is a form of autism and it was interesting to see how the book never really pointed this out, but presented it in a subtle manner. I also loved meeting with Ian’s family as they were eccentric in their own way, but similar to Lisa Kleypas’ portrayal of the Hathaways from her “Hathaways” series, they truly cared about each other and would look out for each other. The romance scenes between Ian and Beth were hot and spicy and I was literally fanning myself with anticipation at reading these scenes!
For those of you who do not like reading about sex scenes, the sex scenes in this novel are extremely explicit and it might be a bit disgusting to read through if you do not like reading sex scenes.
Overall, “The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie” is truly one delightful read that every romance fan should read! (less)

This time, it is Leo Hathaway’s turn to fall in love and what other person could he ever fall in love with than the Hathaways’ uptight paid companion, Catherine Marks! As usual in all of the “Hathaway” series, this novel is filled with drama, mystery, suspense and hot sizzling romance that will have any romance novel fan vying for more hot stuff out of the romance!
For the past two years, Catherine Marks has been the paid companion to the Hathaway sisters and even though she gets along quite nicely with them, she is always arguing constantly with the older Hathaway brother and lord of the estate, Leo Hathaway. One terrible day however, the Hathaways received a letter from the original owners of the Ramsay estate telling the Hathaway family that they will take the estate away from them unless Leo marries someone and produces an heir within a year to save the estate. Can Leo find someone to marry before time runs out and does Catherine truly love Leo?
Wonderful, wonderful work Lisa Kleypas! Lisa Kleypas has certainly done an excellent job at writing a story full of drama, mystery and sizzling romance which made this novel worthwhile for any romance novel fan! I also loved the character development that Lisa Kleypas incorporates into her characters as I truly sympathize with their situations and it was also nice seeing all of the Hathaway family together again and the mischievous antics they get into. But the two characters that I was most fond of were Catherine Marks and Leo Hathaway as they were the two most unusual yet interesting hero and heroine I have ever read about. Catherine Marks was an extremely interesting heroine as she has plenty of spunk and independence that put anyone to shame, but she also harbors a dark past that makes her distant towards any kind of men, especially towards Leo and it was that part of Catherine’s personality that I found the most interesting about her character since I rarely read about heroines whose dark pasts makes them have trouble trusting anyone. Leo Hathaway is definitely one hero that is one of a kind and he is currently on my list of my top romance heroes! Leo Hathaway is a truly unique hero because he can be so hilarious, charming and dangerous all at the same time and I especially loved his smart comments he says towards Catherine that drives her insane all the time! I also loved how Leo can be so caring and intuitive when it comes to Catherine’s past and it was interesting and dreamy seeing him comfort Catherine through her times of need as it shows that Leo is a truly kind-hearted character despite his scandalous past. Also, the best part I liked about Leo is how his body is described as being lean and muscular and that is an aspect that I loved reading about in all my romance heroes! Romance fans will definitely love the sex scenes between Catherine and Leo as it was hot and spicy and I have enjoyed every scene with them together!
For those of you who do not like sex scenes, this book has plenty of it. So, if the sex scenes make you feel uncomfortable, feel free to skip over these scenes.
Overall, “Married by Morning” is easily one of the most emotionally driven novels in the famous “Hathaway” series and Lisa Kleypas fans will definitely enjoy this timeless tale of trust and true love!

This novel is just as dramatic, intense and full of hot romance as the first two books in this series and it makes for one exciting read!
Poppy Hathaway always wanted a normal life since living with her family, the Hathaways, is anything but normal. One strange night however, Poppy meets up with a mysterious man named Harry Rutledge, who turns out to be the owner of a very rich and well-known hotel in London and he had his eyes on Poppy for a long time. However, when a scandal between Poppy and Harry threatened to ruin Poppy’s chances at a normal life, Harry offered to marry her to save her reputation. As soon as Poppy married Harry, she realizes that Harry has a deep and dark side to himself that is making her not trust Harry, but will fate bring these two different lovers together?
Wow! Just wow! I never would have thought that a romance novel with a bad boy hero would turn out to be so sexy and brilliant! Lisa Kleypas has certainly done an excellent job at writing this story about love and betrayal and it is done in the most ingenious way possible! As usual, I loved the way that Lisa Kleypas wrote the Hathaway family to be extremely eccentric (according to the society they live in) yet hilarious and loving to read about and I especially loved the way that the Hathaway family stood by Poppy’s side when she was involved in the scandal with Harry Rutledge and it was also interesting seeing Leo being the brave and supportive brother that he really is. What I truly loved about this book was the love/hate relationship between Harry and Poppy as it was quite unusual to read about two lovers who constantly spend most of the book arguing, but start making love to each other the moment the argument’s over! I really loved the characterization of Poppy Hathaway as she truly does have a good heart and when her loved ones were in danger, she immediately took action and let no one stop her! Now here is an interesting hero that I really grew on and that is Harry Rutledge! Harry Rutledge was a truly interesting hero as he started out as a villain (even though he warned Poppy that he is an A-Class villain) but once I realized why he is acting like a villain, I just immediately grew soft for the intense and sexy guy! I also enjoyed seeing the intense love that Harry has for Poppy to the point where he would do anything to keep her by his side, even facing Death himself to get her back. The sex scenes in this novel are beyond hot and sizzling, they are truly unbelievably sensational! This novel is stock full of sex scenes between Harry and Poppy, which will definitely have you panting with anticipation every time you read them!
For those who do not like sex scenes, this novel is full of sex scenes, so it might be best to skim over these scenes if they cause discomfort.
Overall, “Tempt Me At Twilight” is clearly the most emotional book written out of the “Hathaway” series and it is definitely going on my list of books to reread! I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series, which stars Leo Hathaway, “Married by Morning!”

Winnifred Hathaway was always ill ever since she was affected by the scarlet fever years ago that nearly took her life. Now, Winnifred finally has the chance to get well again by going to a well-known clinic in France that is run by Dr. Julian Harrow and when she comes back home from her treatment, Winnifred has become a changed woman! Kev Merripen, the handsome and strong Romany Gypsy that the Hathaway family has taken in ever since he was a boy, has always loved Winnifred, but because of his dark past, he refuses to confess his love for her. However, when Winnifred gets well again and her doctor, Dr. Julian Harrow starts romancing her, Kev and Winnifred will soon realize that their love might be more powerful than any dark secret can hold back.
Wow! I just have to say “wow” because this novel has totally blown me away with its dramatic writing and its brilliant title characters! Lisa Kleypas has definitely done a fantastic job at writing this novel about forbidden love and dark secrets and I thought that the “dark secrets” aspect of the story was woven into the story extremely well because it brought more drama to the story and it made the characters much more interesting to read about. What I really loved about this book were the characters themselves as they all have their dark secrets that they like to keep hidden from their loved ones, but they also know that if they keep those secrets hidden, they might risk losing the one they love. I really loved Winnifred Hathaway in this novel as she may seem weak because of her illness, but I started seeing a different side to her that I have never seen in the previous book and that was her determination to make Kev hers! Winnifred Hathaway has definitely shown so much courage and compassion for others in this book and that really made her stand out as a character that now she is on my list of favorite heroines and I really loved the way that she tries to help Kev open up his dark past to her because it showed how much she truly cared about him. Now, the hero of this story, Kev Merripen, is just awesome beyond all reason! At first, when I read “Mine Till Midnight,” he was shown to be always grumpy for no reason and it was a little hard for me to like his character. But, the moment I read this book, Kev Merripen is now officially one of my favorite romance heroes ever! I actually felt sorry for Kev whenever he had to come to grips with his dark past and how he was always worried about hurting Winnifred and that truly showed how caring and compassionate he really is despite his gruff nature. I also loved the mention of Kev’s massively muscular body since I love my romance heroes to be muscular and strong and Kev has got all the characteristics of a muscular and strong hero! I also loved seeing the continuing love of Cam and Amelia as it was just as dramatic in this story as it was in the previous book and I loved how Cam supported Kev throughout his trials of confessing his love towards Winnifred which truly made him into such a brilliant character and it was also great seeing Leo, the drunkard brother, regain his dignity in this book and he even helped out Kev with his relationship troubles. For romance fans, there are hot sizzling sexual scenes galore between Winnifred and Kev and they are just as steamy as Cam and Amelia’s and these scenes will make your romantic senses tingling as you read them!
For those of you who do not like reading about sex scenes in a novel, this book has plenty of sex scenes between Winnifred and Kev, so it would be best to skim over these scenes if they are too uncomfortable to read through.
Overall, “Seduce Me at Sunrise” is definitely a romance novel you cannot pass up and it is a brilliant sequel to the fantastic story “Mine till Midnight!”
After reading Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rakeand Ten Ways to Be Adored When Landing a Lord I was excited to hear about the third book in Sarah MacLean’s “Love By Numbers” series called “Eleven Scandals to Start to Win a Duke’s Heart” and man was I totally blown away by this awesome romance novel! Full of excitement, forbidden pleasures and pure love making scenes, this novel will definitely stand the test of time!
Juliana Fiori, the Italian half sister of Nick and Gabriel Ralston, is a strong and independent woman who refuses to follow the strict rules of London society and therefore has become a huge topic of gossip for all the gossipmongers of London. Things get even more complicated when Juliana meets up with the disdainful Duke of Leighton, Simon Pearson and she eventually tries to prove to the duke about what true passion is all about!
After reading the second book, Ten Ways to Be Adored When Landing a Lord, I will admit that I was a little skeptical in reading the third of the “Love by Numbers” series, but after seeing my friends’ reviews on this book and how many positive compliments I keep hearing about this book, I decided to give this book a shot anyway. Lo and behold, I found myself loving this book every second and I was a little upset that this book came to an end. Sarah MacLean has done an excellent job at writing this brilliant story about a forbidden love between two lovers who came from two different worlds, but would do anything to be together! What I really loved about Sarah MacLean’s writing is how she develops the characters in this book and my favorite characters out of this entire book would have to be the main couple Juliana Fiori and Simon Pearson, along with some returning characters that I had previously loved in previous books! At this point, Juliana Fiori is my absolute favorite heroine in any historical romance novel! I just loved the way that Juliana stood up for what she believed in, even when society is against her and I really loved how devoted she was to having passion in her life, especially when it concerns Simon Pearson, which I will now get to! Simon Pearson, the Duke of Leighton, was first introduced in the second book of the “Love by Numbers” series and at first, I did not like him because of his arrogant and disdainful nature, but after I read this book, I really came to love Simon! What I really loved about Simon is that he always get so tongued tied whenever he is around Juliana and when he is being romantic around Juliana, whew he is something else entirely! I also loved that fact that he is described as being muscular and large, which really got my hero senses tingling and after I heard of Simon’s tragic story about how he had to keep up with society’s expectations of him, it truly showed a caring side to Simon that we were never exposed to before. I loved how Sarah MacLean brought back some of the older characters shown in previous books which includes Gabriel and Nick Ralston, Callie, and Isabel and it was nice seeing them with their loved ones and enjoying each other’s company. I also loved the plot of the story as it sort of has a “Romeo and Juliet” feel since Juliana and Simon are held back from seeing each other because of their families and how they tried to get back together despite all the consequences they would suffer if they remained together and let us not forget the love making scenes between Juliana and Simon as they are hot and sizzling and will set your soul on fire!
For those of you who do not like sex scenes, there are plenty of sex scenes in this book, so it would be best to skim over these scenes.
Overall out of all the books I have read in Sarah MacLean’s popular “Love by Numbers” series, “Eleven Scandals to Start to Win a Duke’s Heart” is my absolute favorite and I definitely think that romance novel fans will definitely get a huge kick out of this book! Also, I hope that there is a fourth book in the series, because I want to see what becomes of Georgiana and Callie’s brother!

I have managed to read the final book in Lisa Kleypas' popular “Wallflower” series, “A Wallflower Christmas!” The Wallflowers (Evie, Daisy, Lillian and Annabelle) are back and this time they are on a mission to set up Lillian and Daisy's older brother, Rafe Bowman with the attractive and rich Natalie Blandford. Will they succeed? Read this extremely memorable and exciting conclusion to the “Wallflower” series to find out!
Rafe Bowman, oldest son of Thomas and Mercedes Bowman and older brother of Lillian and Daisy Bowman, is well-known for being America's number one rake! However, when Rafe arrives in London to meet up with the beautiful Natalie Blandford to discuss terms of marriage, he will soon realize that love might not be so easy to obtain, especially if he has to try to act like a true gentlemen and is interested in another woman: Natalie's cousin Hannah Appleton!
Oh my goodness! When I have been reading the “Wallflower” series, I had expected the final book in the series to be excellent, amazing, beautiful, wonderful and hot just like the rest of the series! Well, that is exactly what I got out of this book and it was worth it spending the rest of my day reading this book! Lisa Kleypas has definitely done an excellent job at writing this spectacular tale and what I really loved about this book is that we are once again introduced to the Wallflowers again and we are finally introduced to Lillian and Daisy's older brother Rafe Bowman! First of all, before I get into the juicy bits between Rafe and Hannah, I would like to mention everyone's favorite Wallflower women featured again! I really loved the way that Lisa Kleypas made the Wallflowers (Evie, Lillian, Daisy and Annabelle) even closer towards each other than ever before and what was the most memorable scene with the Wallflowers was when they were comforting Hannah when she was upset. That scene was truly powerful for me because it truly showed how much the Wallflowers are caring women who would treat anyone like their own family. Now, onto the juicy bits with Rafe and Hannah! I just loved Rafe Bowman to death in this book, even if it is his first book! Rafe Bowman is like the pure embodiment of a muscular bad boy hero that really set my senses on fire! I loved the fact that Rafe may have an obnoxious attitude, but when it came to Hannah, he is a true sweetheart and he would do anything to please Hannah! What I really loved about Rafe is the fact that he is described as being handsome and muscular, which are two things I love to see in my romance heroes! Now the heroine, Hannah Appleton, has now made it on my top heroines list! I just loved the fact that Hannah is so sweet and her belief in true love is just truly mesmerizing to listen to! What I really loved about Hannah's character was when she found out about Rafe's dark past with his father and she was truly sympathetic towards Rafe, which really made my heart melt for Rafe. Oh boy, the lovemaking scenes between Rafe and Hannah are something else entirely! They're so hot and steamy that any romance fan will literally fan themselves with anticipation at reading them!
This book has two main sex scenes, so for anyone who does not like reading about sex scenes, you might want to skim over these parts. Also, a slight problem I had with this book was that the beginning was a bit slow for me and the action of the story did not seem to come until the middle of the book. But, I am still giving this book a five star rating anyway because I love it so much!
Overall, “A Wallflower Christmas” is truly a memorable conclusion to the awesome “Wallflower” series and it will definitely stand the test of time for romance fans everywhere! Now that I have read the first book of the Hathaway series, I will begin reading the second book of the “Hathaway” series, “Seduce Me at Sunrise.”

This time, I have read the third book in the “Wallflower” series called “Devil in Winter” and in this book, we are introduced to the relationship between Sebastian, Lord St. Vincent and Evangeline Jenner! Full of drama, forbidden love, and a rake that you would have never seen reforming himself, “Devil in Winter” will certainly go up any romance novel fans' alley!
Evangeline Jenner (Evie, for short), the shyest of the Wallflowers, has escaped from her terrible relatives to marry someone powerful enough to get her out of her terrible situation and the one person that Evie encounters to make the dangerous proposition of marriage is none other than the notorious rake Sebastian, Lord St. Vincent! Sebastian, Lord St. Vincent may seem like the most dangerous man around London, but Evie will soon discover that there might be a warm side to Sebastian that no one else has ever seen.
After reading "It Happened One Autumn", I kind of did not have any feelings for Sebastian, Lord St. Vincent after he kidnapped Lillian Bowman and I was wondering to myself about how Sebastian would be able to redeem himself after that fiasco. Well, when I read this book, I was just blown away by how Lisa Kleypas was able to make the former notorious rake into quite a charming and kindhearted hero of this story! I honestly loved the couple Sebastian, Lord St. Vincent and Evangeline Jenner and I will admit that I thought that the match was a little odd because Evie is so shy and Lord St. Vincent was so vindictive and cold when we first met him, but Lisa Kleypas was able to make that odd pair up work so well in this story that I found myself cheering on for the couple. Sebastian, Lord St. Vincent was truly a one of a kind hero in this book because it was so surprising for me to see him transform from a cold rake to a loyal and kind character the moment he met Evie and I just loved the way that Sebastian would do anything to protect Evie from any kind of danger that befalls her and believe me Evie is constantly threatened throughout the book, but Sebastian was always there to rescue her. I also loved seeing the deeper side of Sebastian, as he was at first frustrated with Evie because he did not know about what love is all about since he has spent most of his life chasing after women and never really getting into a serious relationship. Probably my most favorite moment with Sebastian was when Evie's horrible uncle, Uncle Peregrine tried to take Evie back to her relatives and Sebastian single-handily beats up the uncle and if that does not score sexy points for Sebastian, I do not know what does!
Evangeline Jenner is currently my most favorite heroine in the romance novel universe because she may be shy at first, but as the book goes along, she become a strong and caring person. What I really loved about Evie is that she truly cares about Sebastian and all her friends and my favorite moment with Evie was when Sebastian got extremely ill after he got shot and Evie was there to comfort him in his time of need. That moment there truly showed me how much Evie truly cared about Sebastian and how she was always willing to help out anyone, no matter how dangerous the situation is. The true highlight of this book for me was Sebastian and Evie's relationship with each other as they started out as the usual bickering couple you would see in many romance novels, but as the book progresses, they became an extremely loving couple to puts all other romance couples to shame. What made Sebastian and Evie's relationship so magical was how Evie's stammering (which she was well known for) had immediately stopped when she started spending time with Sebastian and that right there proved to me that love can cure almost anything. I thought it was really cute about how Sebastian would literally crumble whenever he is near Evie since he has never known what it was like to love someone and that gave us a lot of cute moments between Evie and Sebastian.
There are many sex scenes in this book so if anyone feels uncomfortable about reading these scenes, then they can skip over these scenes if it is too much.
Overall, out of all of the “Wallflower” series I have read so far, “Devil in Winter” remains to be the most touching and emotional book of the series and it was magical to see both characters overcome their fears of society in order to be together! Lisa Kleypas fans, I would definitely recommend this book to absolutely anyone!! Now, I am going to read the next book in the “Wallflower” series,"Scandal in Spring"!

American heiress Lillian Bowman came to London along with her family to pursue a worthy husband of her status. However, Lillian seems to loathe the handsome yet headstrong Earl of Stony Cross Park, Marcus, Lord Westcliff as she believes that he is a snob and Marcus seems to loathe Lillian also since she is so stubborn. But this couple will soon realize that their differences might bring them closer together.
*My, I am so breathless!* Oh my goodness, this book clearly defines what a true romance novel is all about! I just practically love everything about this book – the characters, the plot and the romance! I loved the way that Lisa Kleypas made the book extremely dramatic yet hilarious at the same time and what I really loved about Lisa Kleypas’ writing is how she made Lillian Bowman and Marcus, Lord Westcliff’s relationship seem so hilarious, especially when they are arguing so much. I usually disapprove of couples fighting in romance novels, but in this case, the way that Marcus and Lillian argued was so cute! It is like one moment Lillian and Marcus are arguing about how they should ruled each other’s lives and then the next minute, they are making love to each other!
As much as I loved the plot, the characters were the true highlights of this story! My favorite characters in this book are of course, Lillian Bowman and Marcus, Lord Westcliff! Lillian Bowman is truly one heroine I truly enjoyed as she Is not afraid to speak her mind, even in the face of danger and I loved the way that she easily stands up to Marcus and speaks on her opinions, which is an aspect of her character that I truly loved. I also loved Lillian’s close relationship with the other Wallflowers which included her sister Daisy Bowman, Annabelle Peyton and Evangeline Jenner. Now, I would like to talk about Marcus, Lord Westcliff and man is he something else! Marcus, Lord Westcliff is one amazing hero as he is described as being muscular yet lean and he is truly headstrong and also speaks his mind! What I really loved about Marcus is how he truly has a heart full of gold, especially when it concerns Lillian and when Lillian is in grave danger, oh boy, watch out because Marcus can be really frightening when he is angry, which I really admit made me more attracted to his character! I could go on and on about Marcus, but that would be an extremely long list to go through! This romance novel is sex scenes galore as it is full of lovemaking scenes between Marcus and Lillian that will have your hairs stand on your ends!
There are many sex scenes throughout this book, so anyone who is uncomfortable with reading sex scenes might want to skip over these scenes when reading this book.
All in all, “It Happened One Autumn” is clearly a novel that defines what a true romance novel is all about and also features my favorite hero, Marcus, Lord Westcliff! I am definitely going out of my way to read the next book in the Wallflower series, Devil in Winter!

Well, the answer to that is that Lisa Kleypas is clearly a brilliant romance writer and reading many of her books has been an awesome experience that I have enjoyed doing over and over again! This time, I have read the first book in Lisa Kleypas’ “Wallflower” series called “Secrets of a Summer Night” and it is surely full of drama, thrills and hot romance that will surely put any romance fan in a soothing mood!
Annabelle Peyton, well known for being a wallflower in London society, vows to seek a worthy husband to cover her family’s debt since she does not have a dowry that would make her worthy in any nobleman’s eyes. However, Annabelle has her sights set on Lord Kendall, a lord who is currently unmarried, but suddenly, Annabelle realizes that Simon Hunt, a mysterious man that Annabelle met years ago, is also after her heart and plans to make Annabelle his alone! Will Annabelle allow Simon into her life? Read this book to find out!
Oh my goodness! Words cannot describe how much I loved this book from Lisa Kleypas’ popular “Wallflower” series! Lisa Kleypas has done an excellent job at writing this romantic tale of what true love is all about! What I really loved about this book were the characters themselves, especially Annabelle Peyton and Simon Hunt as they are both strong and interesting characters! Let me start with Simon Hunt first since I am really interested in his character. Simon Hunt is easily one of the best romance heroes ever created because not only does he have an awesome muscular body that makes him somewhat of a superhuman, but he has a heart full of gold as he deeply cares for Annabelle during her time of need and he is willing to put his life in the line if anything happens to Annabelle and it was that personality trait of Simon’s that made me really love his character. I have briefly mentioned about Simon’s muscular body and I just love any romance hero who has muscles of steel, especially in the case of Simon as Lisa Kleypas makes sure that the audience knows how hard Simon’s muscles are! Another character I really loved in this book was Annabelle Peyton herself as she is clearly a strong and independent woman who does not let anyone get in the way of her goal of obtaining a husband. I will admit at first that I got a little annoyed with Annabelle always dismissing Simon, even though it is clear from the get go that Simon is a seriously pleasant man, but once she found out what a gentle and loyal man Simon is, she cared as much for Simon as Simon did for her and I was just so amazed at the lengths that Annabelle took to protect Simon! I also loved the brief little relationship between Lord Westcliff and Lillian Bowman as they clearly hate each other, but I guess once I read the rest of the “Wallflower” series, they might change their tune. And let us not forget about the sizzling love making scenes between Annabelle and Simon as they are extremely out of this world hot and they provide the best love making dialogues I have ever read from any romance novel like:
“I want to make you scream and claw and faint in my arms.”
For anyone who do not like reading about sex scenes in a book, this book has many sex scenes between Annabelle and Simon and it would be best to skip over these scenes if they are uncomfortable to read through.
Overall, “Secrets of a Summer Night” is a clearly extraordinary book from the great romantic mind of Lisa Kleypas that all romance novel fans will enjoy for many years to come!

Emmaline Marlowe (Emma for short) was about to be married to the laird of the Hepburn clan to save her family from landing in debtor’s prison when the wedding is gate crashed by a handsome tough guy called Jamie Sinclair, who ends up kidnapping Emma and takes her to the highlands. Jamie claims that he is using Emma to get what was stolen from him from the Hepburn clan, but will Emma eventually cause Jamie to fall in love with her?
Oh my goodness! There are so many awesome things to say about this book! This is clearly Teresa Medeiros’ best book ever created since it has everything that you would find in an excellent book – drama, adventure, suspense and a full blown romance that will blow any romance fan away! Teresa Medeiros has done an awesome job at creating a story about dark secrets and forbidden love and I loved the way that Teresa Medeiros has put the most shocking moments in this book, which regarded Jamie’s dark past, in the right places without making the moments too over the top and more surprising to read about. I also loved the action scenes throughout this book as I was seriously holding on this book for dear life wondering if Jamie and Emma would ever escape from all the obstacles that they have to face throughout their journey. Now let us discuss about the best part of this book, the characters! I loved the character Emma, even though I will admit she did sort of annoyed me whenever she acts like she is better than everyone else, but she is also shown as being a strong and independent heroine who did not let Jamie’s rash actions get the best of her. Emma always speaks her mind about the situation she is thrown into and I also loved her intelligence as she uses her wits to get her out of various situations and help out Jamie and his men. Another character I really loved was Jamie Sinclair, who is seriously the best “bad-boy” outlaw I have ever read in any romance novel as he can be both ruthless yet caring at the same time. I will admit at first that I was a bit uncomfortable about Jamie kidnapping Emma for his own reasons, but after I saw how kind and brave (and muscular) he really is, I started to really love his character! Also, when I found out about Jamie’s dark past, I really sympathized with him since his secret is so unexpected, that you have to read this book yourself to feel the full impact! I also loved how Jamie and Emma’s love came to be as they fought with each other at first, but they eventually got closer together once they uncovered each other’s dark secrets and I loved the way that Jamie always tried to save Emma from any kind of trouble on their journey.
There are many sex scenes in this book, so anyone who does not like sex scenes might want to skip over the sex scenes in this book.
Overall, “The Devil Wears Plaid” is a truly brilliant romance novel that every romance fan and Teresa Medeiros fan should definitely check out!

Well, that is what had happened in Lisa Kleypas’ historical romance novel, “Again the Magic.” “Again the Magic” has drama, romance, lies, secrets and excitement that outshines from most romance novels ever written and it will have you waiting in anticipation as you read this book!
Years ago, Lady Aline Marsden fell in love with a servant on her father’s estate named John McKenna and their love knew no bounds. One tragic day however, Aline’s father, the Earl of Westcliff, found out about their affair and he sent McKenna away from the estate, breaking Aline’s heart, since Aline was forced to tell McKenna that she did not love him to protect him from her father’s wrath. Years later, however, McKenna returns to London as a rich man, but now he has a vengeance on Aline for breaking his heart years ago. But will McKenna’s and Aline’s love for each other rise up again?
Wow… my heart is just beating wildly right now! This is clearly one of Lisa Kleypas’ most intense books ever created as it clearly has drama, romance, and betrayal all mixed into one book! Lisa Kleypas has done an excellent job at bringing life into each character as all the characters in this book intense to the tenth degree! The characters I loved the most in this book were John McKenna and Aline Marsden as they were the most intense couple I have ever read in any romance novel since they have so many issues to work through! John McKenna is truly one hot bad boy hero of this story as he is always being described as an extremely muscular man (which I love) and he had such an intense personality. At times, I get scared by McKenna because he had such a dark and intense personality and you do not really know what he is going to do to Aline to extract his vengeance, but once I realized about how he was hurting deeply when Aline said hurtful things to him, I actually felt sympathy for him. Aline Marsden was a truly remarkable and innocent character as she truly cares about McKenna and what I really loved about her character was that she accepted McKenna for who he is and she did not care if McKenna was servant or not. Of course, there were times where I got a little irritated with Aline for not telling McKenna the truth, but I guess if someone cares for another person the way that Aline did for McKenna, then it would have been a bit difficult for anyone to feel rejection from the person they love. McKenna and Aline’s love for each other was genuine as they literally cannot live without each other and despite the various obstacles these two had, they still tried to stay together and it was that aspect of the story that really drawn me in this story. There is also a lot of love making between Aline and McKenna that is so hot and steamy that romance fans will literally flipped over with anticipation at reading those scenes!
There are many sex scenes in this book and some of the sex scenes are pretty graphic in some areas. For anyone who does not like reading about graphic sex scenes, might want to skip over the sex scenes when they are reading this book.
All in all, “Again the Magic” is a truly wonderful and hot romance book about the importance of honesty that has never been explored in any other romance novel and romance fans everywhere will definitely fall in love with this book for its pure intense romance!
Ever since Nicholas St. John was named “London's Lord to Land” in a ladies' magazine, he has been avoiding all the women in London. However, when the Duke of Leighton told Nick about his missing sister, Nick was glad to take this opportunity to escape! However, when Nick comes to the secretive Townsend Park, home of Minerva House, he finds the daughter of the late wastrel, Lady Isabel Townsend and he realizes that she is no ordinary woman! But will both lovers ever truly love each other once their dark secrets are revealed?
There were a few good things that I did like about this book. I really loved the love scenes and the hero and heroine! Sarah MacLean had done an awesome job at making Nick the all-time, sexy and ever handsome hero! Whew! I just loved how Nick was willing to help out Isabel and the girls of Minerva House with their financial troubles and I just adored Nick for being honest with his feelings about Isabel. But, not only do I love Nick's personality, but his physical appearance is like the body of a god! I loved how Sarah MacLean described his body as being large and muscular, which are two things I love about my romance heroes! Now about Isabel, I loved the fact that Isabel is such a strong heroine and I loved the way that she stood up to any kind of authority that threatened to tear her apart from the girls of Minerva House. But, probably the best part about this novel were the love scenes between Isabel and Nick! I mean, this book is littered with love scenes galore and man, these scenes are hot and sizzling!
Now, here are some reasons why I gave this book a three star rating. For one thing, I often get annoyed with the heroine, Isabel, since she has some major trust issues to work through. I know that Isabel is scared to trust men because of what her father did to her mother and I do understand what she is going through, but still, I think that she could have at least put a little trust in Nick. I also felt sorry for Nick throughout the book because it is evident that he truly does love Isabel, but Isabel always seem to push him away from her no matter what Nick does to earn her love and it got so irritating after awhile. Also, I thought that this book was a little boring at times because the plot seem to slow down in many scenes and there are barely any action scenes in this book, so it was sometimes hard for me to get through this book without a bit of action.
Overall, this book is an average read for me. Even though “Ten Ways to Be Adored When Landing a Lord” has some really cute scenes between Nick and Isabel, I just wished that Isabel was a little more trusting of Nick and I wished that there were more action scenes to keep my attention to the plot. Even though this is not my favorite book out of the series, I cannot wait to read the third book, Eleven Scandals to Start to Win a Duke's Heart

I really cannot get enough of Teresa Medeiros' works! I mean, she really knows how to create very heartwarming and very sensual romantic books and “Yours Until Dawn” is certainly no exception! “Yours Until Dawn” is the third book I read from Teresa Medeiros and it is about how a governess named Samantha Wickersham tries to help Gabriel Fairchild, who had lost his sight during the war, to cope with his blindness while loving him every inch of the way! Get ready for sparks to fly and romantic fires to burn because “Yours Until Dawn” is definitely a romantic novel you do not want to miss!
Gabriel Fairchild was known as a war hero in London, but unfortunately, the war cost him his sight and all his hope of ever seeing again. So, Gabriel barricaded himself at Fairchild Park since he cannot bear to face society in the condition he is in. However, when a proper nurse named Samantha Wickersham comes to Fairchild Park to take care of Gabriel, Gabriel starts to fall in love with Samantha. Unfortunately, the two lovers will soon realize some secrets about each other that might put their relationship in jeopardy!
Whew! I am just fanning myself here because this book is definitely SIZZLING HOT!! Teresa Medeiros has certainly done an excellent job with describing her characters here as she goes into great detail about each character's personalities. I think the two characters that truly stood out the most in this book were Samantha Wickersham and Gabriel Fairchild, since both characters had secrets that will shock anyone who read this book! I love the way that Teresa Medeiros realistically portrays Gabriel's hardships with coping with his blindness because that is the trait of Gabriel that makes him a truly believable character and I usually found myself sympathizing with his condition, especially when he confesses to Samantha that he lost someone very dear to him because of his blindness and I just found myself feeling sorry for Gabriel at that point of the book. I also loved the character of Samantha herself as she seems like a mysterious person who who hides a tragic secret from Gabriel and you find yourself wondering about what her big secret is! Let me tell you, her secret is so shocking that I found myself being so surprised about what she was keeping from Gabriel. What I loved the most about Samantha's character is that she is a strong and determined heroine who is willing to take Gabriel's insufferable arrogant manner in order to make him see that life is still worth living, even when he is blind. Now onto the juicy bits of this book! There are many sexual scenes between Samantha and Gabriel that will make any romance novel fans' hearts go aflutter. My favorite passage from this book that describes Gabriel is in this passage:
“Samantha studied Gabriel's broad shoulders and muscled forearms, struck anew by what an imposing man he was. He could probably snap her delicate neck between thumb and forefinger. If he could find her, that is.”
I just love the way that Teresa Medeiros goes into detail about how strong Gabriel is in both appearance and strength.
For those of you who do not like sexual content, this book contains a great deal of sex scenes between Gabriel and Samantha. Also, the reason why I gave this book a four star instead of a five star rating is because I felt that Gabriel and Samantha spent almost 90% of the book arguing with each other rather than loving each other and I usually love romance novels where the characters occasionally argue with each other, but try to support each other the best that they can. I will admit though, that I did like the fact that Gabriel and Samantha took their time in knowing each other rather than jumping headfirst into a relationship.
All in all, “Yours Until Dawn” is definitely a book that will shock, warm and touch you all at the same time and I am sure that this book will definitely be an instant treat for Teresa Medeiros fans and romance novel fans everywhere! (less)

I finally heard about another romance author and her name was Lisa Kleypas! “Mine Till Midnight” is the first book I have read from Lisa Kleypas and it is also the first book of the Hathaway family series. If you have not read a romance novel full of sexual tension, drama and mystery, “Mine Till Midnight” is definitely a romance novel that is worth checking out!
The Hathaway family (Leo, Amelia, Winnifred, Poppy and Beatrix) all had a stroke of bad luck ever since their parents died, even living in an impoverished home in London. One day, however, the Hathaways inherited a rich estate in Hampshire and it seems that their lives would turn for the better…well, not exactly. The Hathaways are still unprepared for the high class life since Leo started drinking ever since his finance, Laura, had died and her sister, Winnifred is still weak from contracting the dreaded scarlet fever along with her brother Leo. However, while Amelia stays at Hampshire, she also meets a dashing half Gypsy man named Cam Rohan, who not only helps Amelia support her family, but also satisfies Amelia’s “sexual desires.” With Cam wanting freedom from the high class society and Amelia trying to become apart of the high class society, will the two lovers ever be together? Read this book to find out!
Oh my goodness! Lisa Kleypas is a true genius in writing this inspirational romance novel! Okay, let me first talk about the characters and their personalities that I really enjoyed! I just love how Lisa Kleypas created the characters to be likable and relatable as each character, mainly the Hathaways, have many issues corrupting their lives, but they are always able to overcome any obstacle that comes their way through courage and kindness among themselves. The characters I loved the most in this book are Amelia Hathaway and Cam Rohan, since this book is all about these two lovers! I loved Amelia Hathaway because she is such a strong and independent woman especially during the hardships that she and family had endured throughout this book. I loved the fact that Amelia was always willing to help out her family anyway she can even if society has looked down on her family’s “eccentric” nature and that is the aspect that I came to love about Amelia since it showed that Amelia really cares about her family and she is always putting her family first before her own needs. Another character that I just totally flipped for was Cam Rohan! Cam Rohan literally conveys the true meaning of a “handsome devil” as he is perceived as a handsome yet mischievous character. Not only did I like the handsome and mischievous side of Cam Rohan, but I also loved his caring and independent nature! Cam Rohan cares deeply for Amelia and he was willing to help her out in her disastrous situations no matter how many times that other people tried to put down his efforts to help the Hathaway family. What I really loved about Cam Rohan’s character is that he truly respects his Gypsy blood, even though society has shown prejudice towards his Gypsy blood and it shows that Cam is a truly independent person who never let prejudice towards his Gypsy blood discourages his spirit.
Now onto the juicy parts of the story!
For romance fans everywhere, there are plenty of love-making scenes between Amelia and Cam that would make your hair stand up on ends with a burning desire! The love-making scenes between Amelia and Cam are truly HOT and DELICIOUS and you would just die with passion in reading the juicy details that Lisa Kleypas puts into these scenes!
For people who are not fond of sex scenes, this book has many sex scenes that might offend some people who do not like reading any sex scenes in any book.
All in all, “Mine Till Midnight” not only has hot and sensual love scenes, but it also has a true depth about the importance of family that is uncommon in many romance novels. I will admit that I was a bit confused at the beginning when I first read this book, but that was probably because I have not read the Wallflower series yet, but this fact never bothered me and this book definitely got me into Lisa Kleypas’ works and I am definitely looking forward to reading more of the Hathaway series and Lisa Kleypas’ works in the future!

Every novel that I read by her always contains lots of drama and hot love scenes that just gets me in an excited mood! Well, I have just recently read my fourth Teresa Medeiros book called “One Night of Scandal” and believe me, I immediately got hooked onto this book! “One Night of Scandal” is the second book in Teresa Medeiros' Fairleigh Sisters series, being the sequel to “A Kiss to Remember,” and this time, the book stars Carlotta Anne Fairleigh ( or as everyone's favorite troublemaker, Lottie) as she also goes through the trials of love just as her sister, Laura has done in “A Kiss to Remember.” Prepare yourselves for a lot of romance, drama and excitement in this second installment of Teresa Medeiros' classic Fairleigh sister series!
Just as Carlotta Anne Fairleigh (Lottie) was about to make her debut into society, her curiosity gets the best of her when she hears terrible stories about Hayden St. Clair or as everyone calls him, “The Murderous Marquess” and Lottie decides to pay the marquess a visit to see if the rumors are true on the night of her debutante ball! Unfortunately, when Lottie and Hayden accidentally kissed each other, the scandal sheets start sending out rumors about Hayden and Lottie's relationship and in order to save her reputation, Lottie agrees to marry “The Murderous Marquess” and move to his isolated mansion on the hill. See sparks fly between Lottie and Hayden as there will be loads of secrets revealed that might either save their romance or ruin it.
Whew! Let me get myself together here since I am still wheeling with excitement from reading this book!
Alright, Teresa Medeiros has done it again in this sequel to one of the most beloved books out of Teresa Medeiros' romance novels as she provides loads of romance and excitement that will have the audience wanting more from the book! The true highlights in this book were the characters themselves as all the characters were well developed, especially Carlotta Anne Fairleigh and Hayden St. Clair, the main couple in this book. Carlotta Anne Fairleigh was probably the most inspirational character in this book as she greatly matures in this book (unlike her murderous younger self in “A Kiss to Remember) and she is shown to be a brave and inventive young woman who believes in her ambitions to be a great writer and also tries to do everything in her power to make people see the good side of Hayden St. Clair, which is why I loved Lottie much better in this book than in her first appearance in “A Kiss to Remember.” Hayden St. Clair is the handsome yet mysterious new lover to Lottie as he is shown to be extremely mysterious in his ways with society, but also shown to be traumatized over the loss of his first wife, which makes him a truly believable character that deals with the loss of a loved one. I also loved the way that Teresa Medeiros portrayed the scandal sheets (or in today's world, the paparazzi) having a negative effect on Hayden St. Clair's personality and life as Hayden faces isolation from society and also has a hard time trying to tell Lottie his true feelings for her because it made me really feel sorry for Hayden throughout the book and while I was reading this book, I was wishing so hard that Hayden gets his happily ever after and be able to feel love with everyone again. The only thing that got me a little frustrated with this book was the fact that Hayden keeps on pushing Lottie away from him, even though deep down he truly loves her, but does not want to show his feelings for her and I can kind of understand why Hayden is acting so isolated towards Lottie because of his past and because he lost his first wife, so it was difficult for him to love another person again, but I sometimes wished that Hayden would let Lottie in his heart a little bit just so their relationship could go a little further. For romance fans everywhere, there are lots of hot and sizzling love scenes between Hayden and Lottie that will make anyone's skin pulse with excitement and satisfaction and they are so hot that Hayden and Lottie's relationship take flight whenever these scenes come around!
For people who do not like sex scenes, there are plenty of sex scenes in this book, so people could skip over the sex scenes if they get too inappropriate for them.
All in all, “One Night of Scandal” is easily one of the best romance novel sequels I have read so far and for anyone who loves some good old drama, romance and a little supernatural element, this book is definitely one that every romance fan should check out!
Alright! This is the second book that I have read by Teresa Medeiros and I am starting to really enjoy some of her books more and more everyday! “A Ki...moreAlright! This is the second book that I have read by Teresa Medeiros and I am starting to really enjoy some of her books more and more everyday! “A Kiss to Remember” is a historical romance book that is the first of the Farleigh series and it sort of takes on a “Sleeping Beauty” spin on the tale as Laura awakens a total stranger by giving him a kiss and when she realizes that the stranger lost his memory, she gives him an identity of Nicholas Radcliffe which might cause her world to turn! “A Kiss to Remember” is a romance novel full of secrets, lies, drama and hot steaming romance that every romance fan will love to read over and over again!
Sterling Harlow was seven years old when his parents sold him to his cruel uncle in order to pay off his father’s outrageous gambling debt. Now years later, Sterling Harlow is the seventh duke of Devonbrooke and is known throughout London as “the Devil of Devonbrooke.” Years later, Sterling has learned that his mother had died and he realizes that his mother let a country girl named Laura Fairleigh and her brother and sister, Lottie and George, stay at Arden Manor, Sterling’s old home. Sterling wanted to take Arden Manor of his own, but the only way that he was going to do that is if Laura Fairleigh does not marry a man before her twenty-first birthday, then the manor will belong to him. So, Sterling goes on a ride towards Arden Manor, but unfortunately, Sterling falls off his horse and hits his head causing him to have amnesia. Later on, Laura Fairleigh goes through the woods and she finds Sterling’s body in the woods, however, Laura does not know that the stranger lying in the woods is Sterling and remembering that she must marry a man before her twenty-first birthday, Laura tricks the man into thinking that he is Nicholas Radcliffe and is engaged to her since the man has amnesia. Laura will soon realize that being deceptive towards Nicholas might not only cost her freedom, but might cost her love too if she does not set the truth free!
Mmm… never have I read a book that is full of not only love making scenes but deception and secrets that could cause tension to strike through the sensual story like a knife! But, before I get to the juicy bits of the story, I like to comment on how well Teresa Medeiros portrays her characters. This time, Teresa Medeiros provides more background and emotion to her characters that each seem to relate to the audience strongly. The characters who truly stood out the most in this book are Laura Fairleigh and Sterling Harlow as they both have personalities that might want to make you either hate them or love them. For one thing, I think many fans might have a problem with Laura deceiving Sterling by manipulating his memory to suit her needs and I must admit that I did find that aspect of Laura a little alarming, but I guess considering that she did not know that Sterling was the unconscious man, it sort of lessen the blow to her character and she did seem desperate at that moment. Also, some fans might not like Sterling’s cruel attitude towards Laura at times, but seeing as he suffered a betrayal from his family, I cannot really blame him for being so cruel at times. Now, onto the juicy bits of the story! Teresa Medeiros does not hold back when it comes to the love making scenes and boy, does this book have so many love scenes, from the beginning to the end! To be honest, I liked the Laura/Nicholas relationship better than the Laura/Sterling relationship because there was more chemistry and more trust between the characters, even though we all know that Laura played the deception game on Sterling when he took on his alternative and friendlier identity, Nicholas Radcliffe but hey, if it was not for Laura’s deception on Sterling, we would have never seen the friendly and softer side of Sterling Harlow and we would have never seen the most sensual scenes that was ever created in any romance novel!
For readers who do not like sex scenes, this book has way more sex scenes than “Nobody’s Darling” and readers who are not accustomed to sex scenes might definitely find these scenes in this book completely inappropriate.
Overall, “A Kiss to Remember” is definitely one of the most heartwarming and intense romance novels I have ever read and any romance fan who want to read about what true love is all about, this book is just right for anyone!!
