Jefferson Bass is the winning team of Dr. Bill Bass and Jon Jefferson. Dr. Bass is an award-winning teacher and world-renowned forensic anthropologist who founded the University of Tennessee's Body Farm. A veteran journalist, science writer, and documentary filmmaker, Jefferson has been published in the New York Times, Newsweek, USA Today and Popular Science. His National Geographic documentaries on the Body farm have been broadcast worldwide. They are also the authors of Death's Acre, a nonfiction account of the Body farm.
To those that have never heard the the Body Farm you should research it..it's beyond cool.
First I wanna say ...god I hope this will be a series. This is some of the best forensic fiction writing Iv'e seen! This book falls right into the line of Thomas Harris and Jeffery Deaver, and I'd rather read this than watch CSI anyday of the week:) Although the climax is a tad predictable the story line is fluid and very descriptive, filled with dark humor and juicy metaphors. Not to mention It takes place in the south so I could relate to the climate and the love of sweet tea. *evil grin* This is a excellent first novel, I loved it much...so much so I'm almost tempted to email the authors to thank them...god I'm a dork!
