In the past few years, graphic novels have started to receive wider recognition in the American publishing industry. Some education professionals have even started recommending them as a possible way to help traditionally reluctant readers to increase their literacy. Notwithstanding the graphic novels' relatively new popularity, there are plenty of folks who see them as a lesser form of story-telling. Do you think graphic novels could ever match traditional novels in their richness, scope and depth?
