Knights of the Round Table Reader’s Choice Award
The Knights are considering a Reader’s Choice Award for eligible books. The criteria will be based on the average score from our readers. Once all reviews are in for a book, we’ll average all the ratings together, and determine if the book is eligible. In your opinion, what average number stars should a book receive in order to win this award?

Any book that is put through the KOTRT review process will be eligible. We'll take all the completed reviews from readers, average them, and award the books that meet the criteria.

Must my book(s) be nominated, or do I simply submit them for review. The reason I ask is that I have released three books in the last six months and would be interested in putting them out there for review.
Hi Everyone,I joined several weeks ago but haven't joined any conversations... so a HELLO to all of you!
I write international women's fiction... DUTY AND DESIRE, my debut novel, was a Dec 2011 release. I hope to keep in tune with what all of you are reading!

Clayton - Your first step, after joining, is to go to the Author Sign-ups section and state you'd like your book reviewed. We'll email you with your date and further information. We look forward to working with you.

Interesting. Will a "Reader's Choice" come with a cool graphic that one can display on blogs or add to a cover that says "Knights of the Round Table Readers Choice"?
Lindsay,Yes, that's it. No tricks, hidden costs, or anything funny. :) We will go back to the beginning and award previous books that met the criteria, also.

I just noticed my reply wasn't showing. Yes, there will be a cool graphic. Knights are working on it at this moment. :)
Great idea. I've been saying for a while that reviews will be the new arbiter of quality. But you shouldn't pay for a review - it creates an impression of bias. I'll be looking forward to hopefully getting a little graphic from you ;)
I think it's a wonderful idea! Anytime an indie author can get notice or publicity only helps us all. Count me in (however I do that!)
I am so glad to hear this idea is being put into motion. It will help readers find books that are better quality. Also, if an author were to do a cover redo, could they place the graphic on the cover art or on the back cover copy? That way it would be highly visible to all prospective readers.
Suzanne, Yes, you can use the graphic on a new cover as long as it is the same book. No adding the graphic to another book in the series. :)
We will award books with this honor. Of course, it will take us a couple of weeks to go back through all the books and check the star ratings.
Thanks for all your comments guys!
So, it looks like 4 Stars (average of 4 stars) is the winner based on this poll. We will begin making the announcement, display the graphic, and send out notices to those who have won the honor of KotRT Reader's Choice Award!
