Timothy Ward I'm 40% through Wool Omnibus, and I can't believe how much has already happened, and how much emotional investment I have with all the characters. I definitely see where all the 5 star reviews come from.

message 8: by Annamarie (new)

Annamarie I am not familiar with either of these authors so I will defer to those more knowledgeable than I.

message 7: by Michael (new)

Michael I also have picked up Wool...it is great to see a fresh new voice doing as well as these books are. Litterally have come out of no where but already more than 500 reviews and all 4's and 5's.

message 6: by Charles (new)

Charles I think I want to try both of these, so I voted for "Wool" simply because I already downloaded it as an Amazon Prime freebie -- but I won't be at all upset if "Leviathan" wins. :-)

message 5: by Donna (new)

Donna I also was intrigued after reading the description of Wool and bought it. Leviathan Wakes looks good too so I'm happy either way.

message 4: by Dan (new)

Dan Cool, I'm currently reading Leviathan Wakes!

BTW, Hugh Howey is going to have a Wool 6 coming out in the near future if that affects your decision whether to read them now or not. It's called Wool 6 - Legacy so it _may_ just have a loose connection to the first 5.

And for those who are overwhelmed by 5 titles in the Wool series keep in mind that each is really only novella length (80 pages or so) so that adds up to a novel's worth of reading.

Jason After reading more about each, Wool grabbed me the most and after reading reviews on Goodreads, it made the decision firmer.

Thanks Goodreads reviewers :)

Cloey.k They both look like I may like them, I voted for Wool but will not mind reading Leviathan Wakes.

Timothy Ward I found Daniel Abraham (the James in James S.A. Corey) has a nice deal going on. His Fantasy book THE DRAGON'S PATH is available for $2.99 and includes an ARC of LEVIATHAN WAKES. This is a "Daily Find," but since I got it yesterday at that price and it is still the same price, I'm not sure how much longer this deal will stand. The length in Kindle locations is over eighteen thousand, so I'd say well worth the price as both books have good reviews. http://www.danielabraham.com/
