While I enjoyed all of the poems, the truth within
Ghost Shell touched a chord inside of me that was
meaningful to me.
Aeonic:What an absurd comment---just because you say something "should win" (the language of a moral imperative) doesn't mean anything. And since you offer no intelligent commentary about "WHY" it should win, you are just running your mouth. Actually, that poem "shouldn't win" and do not insult the writers here by saying things like "go figure peeps" which is demeaning in the extreme. We are not your "peeps" by any stretch of the imagination.
Quite a diverse grouping this time, and I truly enjoyed it. Kudos to the judges!!!Several pieces "spoke" to me, but for me, a Plath fan, Gessner's "SELBSTMORD," with its rich language, knotted and strung with Plath pearls, caught my breath. Ich freue mich.
Trust me when I say choosing was difficult. I wish I could pick three. Or more.

I enjoyed all of these poems, but This Poem Is Like All Of Us made me laugh and that just made my day.
This Poem Is Just Like All of Us --John Sokol is the best one I saw my life in those words, unfortunately I couldn't vote, I decided to vote today 2nd July but they say the voting ended today, what a shame, this poem should've been on top.
