I read Forever War (my review) this past July, along with several other military science fiction classics.
I've had this on my TBR shelf for a couple years. I'm pleased to have an excuse to move it to the top of the pile!
This is one of the top 10 sci/fi novels I've read in, oh.. maybe 35 years of reading sci/fi... And I'm not into just "military" shoot'em up sci/fi. It's more than a classic, it's still very good and not dated at all. I gave an extra copy I had to a 15 year old that was helping me do some painting last summer and he loved it, loaned it to another ofhis friends who loved it.
