Lolita is closest to the top of my Classics to be Re-read list, so I voted that way. I can't find the annotated version anywhere in my library system, though. I hope Dylan, if we read Lolita, you'll share insights from the annotated version with us during discussion?

I've always been interested in reading 1984. I read the synopsis online and I can't understand why it's been banned.
I think that's a good idea, Dylan. Do you have the link to that version? People can read whatever version they want but I know that will help me.
If Lolita does win, we should do the annotated version. It is such a dense riddle of a book, in a way, and the annotations allow you to get insight into all the little references, in-jokes, anagrams and word tricks Nabokov uses. Then again, you can totally ignore them and forge right through with no ill effects. It's just as good either way, but the annotated version was a revelation to me.
