I've read Demon Angel without reading the prequel's short story and I didn't miss a thing :-)I'm also going to read A Hunger Like no Other first :-)
A Hunger Like No Other is second after a short story in the Playing Easy to Get Anthology.
Which while entertaining is not essential to the reading of the "2nd book".
It's weird but common practice among the genre, this month's book Demon Angel also follows a short in the Hot Spell Anthology.
I wouldn't say the same about Cry Wolf though, i'd strongly encourage people to read it's predecessor On the Prowl
I have "the host" and "hunger like no other", but "hunger like no other" is the second book on a series, so I don't want to read that.I'm willing to read any of the other books if I can borrow it from one of you.
I think I will finish the book I'm currently reading before the end of the month, so I would like to join part of the monthly reading...
the book is available in fnac as a big paperback (although i just saw the price and scared myself a little :P)
